Pita Queen in Buitenveldert-West

I have visited twice for dinner on my way home. The prawn, duck, and chicken pitas tasted great. Everything looked and tasted very fresh. Both cooks I met were very friendly. I will go again. I highly recommend them!

Delicious food and helpful owner. I tried the Pecking duck, and it was above expectations. I will definitely eat here again.

Outside the shopping mall, you can only use debit card or cash, not credit cards. - 🦐Gumba Pita €6.8 Shrimp pita bread, about the size of a burger. The shrimp inside is extremely fat and has a very solid and chewy texture, plus crisp lettuce and special sauce. I took it out and ate it in the middle of the night. The skin peeled off and became a little hard when it was cold, but it was still good. You can pack another one later. - 📷2025/01/22

Very well priced pita sandwiches with unique filling. Also great cappuccino Recommended! However.. only come here when you have sufficient time to spare.

We shared a peking duck loaded french fries that were delicious and then my husband had a pita with prawns, and I had a pita with barbecue chicken pita. Everything was delicious.

We got the share plate of mini pitas and a loaded fries with duck. Really impressed by the flavour of the king prawn pita, and all the seasonings are unique and well thought through. Also very reasonable prices. Looking forward to coming again :)

Food really tasty. We ordered falafel loaded harissa fries, shrimp pita and duck pita. All really tasty. Never before have I eaten something so deliciously loaded. Must try Harissa Fries. The price is also very good.

Excellent place! We had lunch here with our kids and we loved it. The food is super tasty, ingredients are fresh and good quality. The owner couldn’t be more kind! We will definitely come back.

Honest falafel approach targeting local emigrants, students & young customers!!! Falafel was great, salad delicious with a fruitful dressing , pita was good too, loaded fries with chicken was average ( avoid ). Decoration was inexistent with a warehouse behind the kitchen & tables outside wet & dirty! No alcohol served, keep in mind !

It was very tasty and can only be recommended. There was also an English menu. I'd love to come back!

Delicious pita for only 7.5 euros. Don't miss out on the sweet potatoes, either. Overall, it is a good choice for those who wish to get a convenient and quick bite. The service is very friendly and there are some tables outside, as well as inside. Take away is possible.

Very friendly and courteous service. The pita pancakes were very tasty, good bread and contents were also very delicious. I can only recommend the loaded fries. The atmosphere was very cozy and quiet. I really enjoyed eating there and can really recommend it.

We recommend! Both pita pockets and loaded fries were really tasty :) We were there just before closing time and yet the service was very friendly and accommodating. We ate there again the next day, gladly again :)

It's a great place with a very interesting and varied menu of fillings for homemade pita - like you can't find anywhere else. I had barbecue chicken pita and my husband had the falafel. It was accompanied by a smashed avocado salad. Super delicious, fresh, and not that expensive!

De Pita queen serveert heerlijke gevulde pita.ze gebruiken verse ingrediënten en dat proef je ook wel. Verder is het personeel heel erg aardig. Zeker een aanrader 🌟

We ordered loaded french fries with crispy salmon and king prawns. The mix of ingredients worked really well together and the portions were big. There are also 2 vegetarian topping options for the loaded fries plate on the menu, so instead of fish or meat you can choose fries with Falafel or with Avocado. The service is also really nice, I can definitely recommend this place.

Pitas on the fotos looked small, but in reality one pita each and a shared plate of loaded fries was quite enough! Great pita breads, very thin, have also gluten-free ones. The filling options are all funky and surprisingly delicious : we took smoked salmon and pulled beef — both had extremely wierd ingridients inside, but worked quite well! The only thing that could be improved is the abundance of cheese sauce everywhere — fish and sweet potatoes do not benefit from it in the slightest 😅. Otherwise, the place is very nice, clean, and pleasant to grab a bite in. Definitely one of the best spots in the area for the price-quality-experience ratio. The staff was very friendly, too. NB: they only accept Dutch cards and cash.

Got the pulled beef pita and the bbq chicken loaded fries. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The flavors were unique and unlike any flavor combinations I’ve eaten before. They don’t take Visa or Mastercard so had to pay cash but that was no problem. Definitely recommend!

Duurde heel lang. We waren met 6 personen, stond 1 persoon in de keuken. We hebben ruim 45 minuten moeten wachten op het eten, wat uiteindelijk wel lekker was.

Best pita in town. Filling with lotssssss of flavour. Also the man behind the counter was the sweetest ever. All the love to him and his pita creations.

Erg druk tijdens lunchtijd. Ligt buiten het kantoorgebied dus die combi zegt genoeg over prijs/kwaliteit.

We had the most amazing experience ever! Gianmichele was the cook and employee working, and he provided the best service. He was so kind and helpful, and we are already planning to go back for lunch tomorrow. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The fries were absolutely delicious and the pitas were free of grease. Amazing food and people!

Such an amazing experience! It’s the best food we have had in our tour of Europe, and the employee was SUPER kind and warm. The food tasted amazing, was not heavy or greasy, and included the best french fries. The guy that helped us was awesome. His name was Gianmichele!

Excellent taste, very fresh and served quickly and with care. We had the pulled beef and BBQ chicken pita and loaded fries with BBQ chicken. The loaded fries were exceptionally good. We are in the neighborhood so we will be back very soon 😄

First meal in Amsterdam & it was 👌🏾 I got the chicken pita gluten free & couldn’t tell it was gf! My partner got the loaded fries expecting it to be junk food loaded with cheese meats etc. but it was healthy loaded with salad, he said he enjoyed this more! Would come back 🥰
