Pizza Beppe Amsterdam Centrum in Grachtengordel-Zuid

I don't know what the other pizzas there are like—we had the "Honey & Tartufo," and it was one of the most delicious pizzas I've ever had. You do have to like Italian fennel sausages, though, otherwise this tip won't help you at all. Otherwise, the pizza was piled high, the dough was excellent—it couldn't be better, even in Italy. The place itself is rather simple—it seems they do more delivery than dining in. The service was friendly. Everything was perfect for our needs.

The pizza here was excellent - lots of toppings. We were well looked after by the staff and it I liked the atmosphere too. 5 stars!

Delicious pizzas, but they always forget something in the order. Last time, we didn't get our drinks, and this time, the extras we ordered (which are expensive!) weren't on the pizza.

Pizzeria with Italian-speaking staff. Good pizza. Three stars for the atmosphere because, besides being small, there were two Dutch guys next to us who looked like they'd eaten a megaphone. Of course, that's not the place's fault!

I'm writing this review about an experience from a year ago. Today I cycled past the restaurant and was reminded of my experience with my grandmother. A friend and I had eaten at a rather expensive, mediocre restaurant. As we approached dessert, the waitress asked if he'd like dessert. Since our student wallets were tight, we said no, so the waitress agreed. He offered us a shot of limoncello. Since he offered it and gave it to us without us saying yes, we assumed the shot was on the house, but when we looked at the price, we'd paid an extra €16 for two pathetic cancer shots. We accepted, very disappointed, but won't be back. Very pushy, no thanks.

I spent a pleasant evening at this place. At first, I thought it was very touristy, because it looked like a typical tourist pizzeria, but I changed my mind thanks to Anastasia's service and the friendly way she welcomed us. She served us with a professionalism worthy of a nearly Michelin-starred restaurant. The prices are average, perhaps a little high, but acceptable. The pizza dough was truly excellent. The only complaint: I don't recommend the appetizers. They don't live up to the pizza.

Everything was great! The pizzas are very good, the welcome is pleasant (one server even tried to speak French with us, really nice), and the prices are reasonable for Amsterdam. I've seen comments about closing times, but let's not forget that this isn't France; here, they eat early, so it's perfectly normal to close "so early." I highly recommend it!

we had the table on the terrace meaning we had gorgeous sunshine and a great view of the canal (meaning this review may be slightly biased). the pizza was great, we were on a budget so many of the options were really available to us (it’s not crazy expensive, we are just broke) but the margarita was so good all by itself! had lovely service - just make sure to ask for tap water specifically otherwise they might open a bottle for you

THE SERVER CLEARLY STOLE FROM ME! I PAID FOR MY PIZZA (THE PROOF IS THE RECEIPT) AND HE DIDN'T WANT TO SERVE ME, HE KICKED ME OUT, EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR MY PIZZA!! If the server doesn't like the look on your face, he'll take the money without serving you your pizza and kick you out. Verbal abuse of a customer who has paid. Frankly unacceptable.

We are welcomed inside and our Pomeranian (small dog) is petted by the waitress. The moment we sit down we are asked to leave because dogs are not welcome. We are neighbors of the restaurant so this disappoints us a lot.

A landmark Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. We ordered a Margarita Extra, a burrada, and a tiramisu. We had a Merlot to accompany it. Everything was delicious. We topped the pizza with an extra virgin olive oil that included chili peppers. We loved it, and the service was very attentive.

Pizza Beppe is a guarantee: fantastic, large pizzas for a great price. Absolutely the best pizza in Amsterdam. The service is also excellent, always super nice people. The only downside for this location is that it is very small, but it does not necessarily disrupt the experience. Recommended!!

Delicious pizza right next to our hotel

So, no cash apparently. Did pin, and automatically seems to add a tip, undeserved. Why is it added automatically?? Why no cash. Also, why is your pizza lukewarm and do you pretend to be Italian? Honestly, 34 fn euro for 2 medium pizzas. Medium being the key word for this place...

Food is just incredible. The antipssti, pizza and desserts. I ordered a Parma Ham with olives, Salame Piccante pizza and a tiramisu. Also, they knew exactly what a Caffè Corretto was (with Sambuca). I'll come back next time I'm in Amsterdam. Oh, and the manager (maybe owner?), lovely girl that speaks English, Italian and Spanish.

From Naples to Amsterdam to eat pizza! Delicious Margherita, better than many pizzas in Naples. Very nice Daniel, pizza chef from Milan, but not Milanese. I recommend giving it a try, the place is quiet and the staff are friendly. Also worth trying is the tirtiramisu.

Pizza was very good but the service not so much. We were rushed to finish our pizza way before closing time. Waiters weren’t friendly from beginning to end. I was shocked to be treated this way at a restaurant. I think it’s better to juste take away the pizzas

Let's start with the positive: the pizzas were really excellent, with a good portion! The price is correct for Amsterdam, just the extra toppings are too expensive in my opinion. I recommend for pizzas. As for the negative: we arrived at 8:45 p.m., not even an hour later, we were kicked out while some had not even finished. Furthermore, the service could have been a bit more pleasant. We were offered a dessert to take away, but not wanting to eat it while walking, we refused. Kisses

So wet and undercooked I needed a spoon to eat it. Tasted like boiled dough. And of course, I got to enjoy this masterpiece sitting in a hallway full of takeout traffic. Never again.

Just spotted a hidden gem 💎 in town

We came across this restaurant by chance and it was so nice! The service was really fast and super friendly, the pizza was a five star Neapolitan Pizza and the tiramisu was also so nice.

Absolutely delicious food and felt well worth the money. Serious reputation deduction for denial of basic needs - tap water. Appreciate that there are €5.95 bottled water options, however found it unacceptable that they do not serve tap water and upsell overpriced options. After this I wasn't willing to spend anymore at the establishment. Feel it's worth noting that I'd have been more than happy to spend €1.50 on a bottle of tap water to have with my dinner. I understand that it's not a legal requirement in the Netherlands however it's also not written in law to provide good service. Take that as you will. Despite this single negative, the staff seemed friendly and there was a good vibe to the place.

Clearly a popular choice as the place was rammed when i walked in! Pizza was delicious, atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing and servers were polite and professional. I loved that the menu had tips for additions to your dish included and a little key at the bottom for those of us not versed in all of the food lingo. Great location overlooking Amstel.

My mate and I thought we try beppe after hearing raving reviews from a friend of ours. The pizza was amazing! I had a capricciosa and my friend had a Quattro formaggi and we were both well impressed. Very authentic and tasty! The server didn’t understand close to any English so it was a tad of a mission to communicate but other than that, it was a pleasure and we will be back with a larger crowd soon!🌟

I got the corner table and I ordered my usual, a salame picante with gorgonzola. And a beer. The beer came first and was disappointingly tiny. Why is everything getting progressively tinier? Oh yeah, capitalism. This is a great pizza. Not as crisp as I would like, base-wise, but the taste is perfect, and you can't ask for more than that. No, wait, yes you can. You can ask for friendly, smiling service. Thankfully, that's always what you get here, in my experience. It is one of the best, most reliable pizzerias in Amsterdam and I thoroughly recommend it.

Nice centrally located restaurant. The pizza was great, but the tiramisu ladyfingers were unfortunately a little watery (so not quite worth €7). The drink prices are unfortunately quite high at 3.80/200ml soft drink. All in all, good food and recommended.

Pizza Beppe was absolutely incredible! If you follow me or have seen my posts, you know I’m obsessed with Neapolitan-style pizza. Every time I travel, I seek out the best slices, and Pizza Beppe did not disappoint! I ordered the “small” pizza, which came in an adorable bunny shape—whether that was intentional or not, it was delightful. I highly recommend making a reservation, as they might not let you in without one. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Tasty pizza, good service and a good atmosphere. (Italians also eat there and those people know what good pizza is.) One thing is that the smoke from the wood oven is sometimes a bit intense inside.

Real Neapolitan pizza is insanely delicious

I passed by a pizza shop when I was traveling in Amsterdam. It had a nice atmosphere and the music in the shop made people feel relaxed. The two of us ordered a Burrata snack, which was served with cherry tomatoes and small biscuit sticks, which had a refreshing taste. The pizza was freshly baked and I waited for about 20 minutes. The Margherita pizza was very delicious and had a juicy texture. Highly recommended.

Extremely disappointing service!! I paid extra to add tuna to my small pizza, but the amount was ridiculously minimal. When I brought it up in-store, they claimed this was their standard portion. Had I known this, I would never have paid for the extra tuna, as it’s not worth it. Later, I called to discuss the issue, but they refused to offer any form of compensation or show any empathy. Definitely not worth the money!

There are various Beppe pizzerias in the city, in different neighborhoods. The pizza is average, Italian products. They don't have a wood oven, the mass of the pizza was a bit heavy. Prices a little high.
