Pizza Beppe Amsterdam Centrum in Grachtengordel-Zuid

A landmark Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. We ordered a Margarita Extra, a burrada, and a tiramisu. We had a Merlot to accompany it. Everything was delicious. We topped the pizza with an extra virgin olive oil that included chili peppers. We loved it, and the service was very attentive.

Good food and atmosphere! Pizzas were good, airy, soft and crispy base....

Pizza Beppe is a guarantee: fantastic, large pizzas for a great price. Absolutely the best pizza in Amsterdam. The service is also excellent, always super nice people. The only downside for this location is that it is very small, but it does not necessarily disrupt the experience. Recommended!!

So, no cash apparently. Did pin, and automatically seems to add a tip, undeserved. Why is it added automatically?? Why no cash. Also, why is your pizza lukewarm and do you pretend to be Italian? Honestly, 34 fn euro for 2 medium pizzas. Medium being the key word for this place...

Food is just incredible. The antipssti, pizza and desserts. I ordered a Parma Ham with olives, Salame Piccante pizza and a tiramisu. Also, they knew exactly what a Caffè Corretto was (with Sambuca). I'll come back next time I'm in Amsterdam. Oh, and the manager (maybe owner?), lovely girl that speaks English, Italian and Spanish.

From Naples to Amsterdam to eat pizza! Delicious Margherita, better than many pizzas in Naples. Very nice Daniel, pizza chef from Milan, but not Milanese. I recommend giving it a try, the place is quiet and the staff are friendly. Also worth trying is the tirtiramisu.

Pizza was very good but the service not so much. We were rushed to finish our pizza way before closing time. Waiters weren’t friendly from beginning to end. I was shocked to be treated this way at a restaurant. I think it’s better to juste take away the pizzas

Let's start with the positive: the pizzas were really excellent, with a good portion! The price is correct for Amsterdam, just the extra toppings are too expensive in my opinion. I recommend for pizzas. As for the negative: we arrived at 8:45 p.m., not even an hour later, we were kicked out while some had not even finished. Furthermore, the service could have been a bit more pleasant. We were offered a dessert to take away, but not wanting to eat it while walking, we refused. Kisses

a very cute restaurant, nice atmosphere and although it is located in the city centre, it’s not that touristy. We ate the Verdure Pizza, which is also possible in a vegan option. we liked our experience!

excellent service and welcome. The quality of the pizza was ok, considering you are in Amsterdam. The environment leaves something to be desired. Definitely too small to have a pleasant experience and also for the staff to offer real service, but the girls were good nonetheless

So wet and undercooked I needed a spoon to eat it. Tasted like boiled dough. And of course, I got to enjoy this masterpiece sitting in a hallway full of takeout traffic. Never again.

Just spotted a hidden gem 💎 in town

We came across this restaurant by chance and it was so nice! The service was really fast and super friendly, the pizza was a five star Neapolitan Pizza and the tiramisu was also so nice.

Top Service! Pizzas came very quickly. We had to wait a little longer for the tea, but we immediately received a free piece of tiramisu! Nice staff! Recommended!!!

Absolutely delicious food and felt well worth the money. Serious reputation deduction for denial of basic needs - tap water. Appreciate that there are €5.95 bottled water options, however found it unacceptable that they do not serve tap water and upsell overpriced options. After this I wasn't willing to spend anymore at the establishment. Feel it's worth noting that I'd have been more than happy to spend €1.50 on a bottle of tap water to have with my dinner. I understand that it's not a legal requirement in the Netherlands however it's also not written in law to provide good service. Take that as you will. Despite this single negative, the staff seemed friendly and there was a good vibe to the place.

Clearly a popular choice as the place was rammed when i walked in! Pizza was delicious, atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing and servers were polite and professional. I loved that the menu had tips for additions to your dish included and a little key at the bottom for those of us not versed in all of the food lingo. Great location overlooking Amstel.

My mate and I thought we try beppe after hearing raving reviews from a friend of ours. The pizza was amazing! I had a capricciosa and my friend had a Quattro formaggi and we were both well impressed. Very authentic and tasty! The server didn’t understand close to any English so it was a tad of a mission to communicate but other than that, it was a pleasure and we will be back with a larger crowd soon!🌟

I got the corner table and I ordered my usual, a salame picante with gorgonzola. And a beer. The beer came first and was disappointingly tiny. Why is everything getting progressively tinier? Oh yeah, capitalism. This is a great pizza. Not as crisp as I would like, base-wise, but the taste is perfect, and you can't ask for more than that. No, wait, yes you can. You can ask for friendly, smiling service. Thankfully, that's always what you get here, in my experience. It is one of the best, most reliable pizzerias in Amsterdam and I thoroughly recommend it.

Nice centrally located restaurant. The pizza was great, but the tiramisu ladyfingers were unfortunately a little watery (so not quite worth €7). The drink prices are unfortunately quite high at 3.80/200ml soft drink. All in all, good food and recommended.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was transported straight to Italy. Pizza Beppe was absolutely incredible! If you follow me or have seen my posts, you know I’m obsessed with Neapolitan-style pizza. Every time I travel, I seek out the best slices, and Pizza Beppe did not disappoint! I ordered the “small” pizza, which came in an adorable bunny shape—whether that was intentional or not, it was delightful. I highly recommend making a reservation, as they might not let you in without one. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Tasty pizza, good service and a good atmosphere. (Italians also eat there and those people know what good pizza is.) One thing is that the smoke from the wood oven is sometimes a bit intense inside.

Real Neapolitan pizza is insanely delicious

I passed by a pizza shop when I was traveling in Amsterdam. It had a nice atmosphere and the music in the shop made people feel relaxed. The two of us ordered a Burrata snack, which was served with cherry tomatoes and small biscuit sticks, which had a refreshing taste. The pizza was freshly baked and I waited for about 20 minutes. The Margherita pizza was very delicious and had a juicy texture. Highly recommended.

Extremely disappointing service!! I paid extra to add tuna to my small pizza, but the amount was ridiculously minimal. When I brought it up in-store, they claimed this was their standard portion. Had I known this, I would never have paid for the extra tuna, as it’s not worth it. Later, I called to discuss the issue, but they refused to offer any form of compensation or show any empathy. Definitely not worth the money!

There are various Beppe pizzerias in the city, in different neighborhoods. The pizza is average, Italian products. They don't have a wood oven, the mass of the pizza was a bit heavy. Prices a little high.

Absolutely wonderful pizzas. Do not hesitate if you are now in front of Pizza Beppe. We had a great time at Pizza Beppe. Their pizzas are really good, light crust and cheesy delicious. The staff were friendly nice people and kindly attentive. We were quite impressed with level of service, they were always smiling with hearts. They obviously care about the customers. We love Pizza Beppe. Usually we go to Oost branch. This one was great too.

Very good pizza, difficult to find like this even in Italy, I highly recommend truffle honey as a pizza. Avoid the sweets on the bill, a gesture to be appreciated but a flavor to be forgotten.

We got the Verdure and Tartufo pizzas. The Verdure was very much lacking in flavor, which is probably why they recommed the truffle cream as a topping, but I got it without it, so I wasn’t impressed. It felt like I was eating bread. The Tartufo on the other hand was very tasty. (Pictured: Verdure)

The pizza was very good. However, paying 5€95 for a bottle of water because they only serve bottled water is a bit annoying..

Food is great, the pizzas are very good. Tiramisu medium, very wet and not that creamy (personal preference). The front doesn’t close automatically; everybody leaves it open; uber drivers, staff, guests. Recommend sitting in the back for the latter reason. Service is very medium; they’re barely looking at the guests, so ordering takes a lot of time. Cappuccino that was served was just sad, milk wasn’t foamed (just heated milk..) and the coffee tasted burnt. Please train your staff on these things to fix the situation. Overall, I’d try another location to see if the service is better as the pizzas are good.

Pizza was just perfect. I've been to Italy quite a few times and honestly the pizza here tasted better, not even kidding. The ingrediants were top notch quality. Prices are quite a bit on the higher end but that restaurants are a bit overpriced in Amsterdam is no surprise. Location is very nice with a nice view of the river.

I found out this place on map. I picked up by opinion, was really far away from centre. Plus I was pregnant that time. Was full place of people and I thought it will be no space. But great time was space for us. Was not much space between others customers but atmosphere was really good and busy. We got really fast ours pizza and was really good. I originally like more space for place like restaurants. But it was nice to try it.

Don’t get me wrong the food is always good, but this location in particular was severely unorganised — forgot to do our pickup order and put wrong toppings over one of our pizzas. No compensation for late order too.

Staff were friendly. Pizza was very wet and soggy in most of the pie. Needed the stone to be warmer to cook bottom as fast as top. Also the bottom was covered in ash. Not burned at all but the oven could have used a sweeping.

Horrible experience. Waiters living in their own world, extremely thin pizza that's not at all Italian, menu incomprehensible, the waiter, after charging a table for 10 people, checks the tip and starts laughing with colleagues, saying "now we're rich" waving a €5 tip. Such a disrespectful typical Italian attitude. The waitress, lost in her own world, took 18 minutes to realize we had finished dining. The praised tiramisu is not fresh at all, it's thawed, and you can clearly taste it. As Italians, it was a chilling and humiliating experience.

Beppes Pizza combines the authentic Italian hospitality with excellent food. Great variety and very good quality. My favorite was the Burrata Piccante. Their service was the best in town. I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to come back.

Honestly, it’s really not bad for a Pizza Chain! The pizzas are good and of good size. Small French downside, they don't serve burrata with bread because they don't have any... too bad. The red wine is quality! Charming waitress, lovely atmosphere.

A small cozy place with amazing pizzas. We tried the focassia bread which was good. The pizzas were fantastic and burrata was top notch. The highlight was Tiramisu! Omg it was the best I ever had. The service was super. The guys were friendly and service was quick. Highly recommended. A must visit.

I think this is an excellent pizzeria in the center of Amsterdam, returning to the hotel I noticed the pizza on a customer's table and it was really attractive so much so that I decided to try it. The dough was very good, and the tomato sauce wasn't bad either, as for the mozzarella you could do better but in fact considering the mozzarella you can find in Amsterdam it was more than good. The staff were really friendly and polite, we had a nice evening, I recommend it.

Expensive as others italian restaurants in the zone but at least the pizza was fine (not the same as the italian pizza but still tasty). The only complaint is for the price.. 41€ for 2 pizzas + 1 bottle of water it’s definitely out of place. The water served in the bottle “acqua panna” is probably tap water by it’s taste. The real one doesn’t taste like that at all. Charging 5.95€ for <1L of tap water is unbelievable.

This is the second time I visit Pizza Beppe, and honestly I was surprised with how welcoming the team was with my 2 year old baby. They managed to change things around to fit us and the stroller. They had a beautiful smile throughout the night and they were playful with my daughter. The food was absolutely superb and it was ready in no time. This visit was on Sunday the 10th of Dec. We will definitely be back, again!
