Delicious pizza and friendly staff

A cozy, homey place for a cheap meal. The price-quality ratio was excellent. I just found the "herb butter" baguette rather bland.

We had a delicious meal and drinks here with firefighters in a relaxed atmosphere. It was very noisy upstairs, though. If they fix that, it will be 100% perfect.

Four of us ate there. All the sauces were spicy. The meat bologne was very spicy; you had to hunt for the meat. What a pity.

Prijzen zijn al lang geen 6 euro meer voor een pizza, de pizza`s zijn kleiner, en ook het recept is lijkt wel flink veranderd. Desondanks nog steeds een lekkere pizza voor een schappelijke prijs! Wijn schenken in waterglazen is wel niet echt een service

Ik eet hier vaak en ervaar een constant niveau van een zeer betaalbare maaltijd die daarnaast een heel nette en goede prijs- kwaliteitverhouding heeft. Je weet wat je kan verwachten en stellen daarbij nooit teleur. De kaart heeft voldoende te kiezen en is toch overzichtelijk.

I really enjoyed it here. I have a gluten intolerance so emailed them in advance about their options. I received an email back the next day and they were also very friendly in the restaurant and handled the food well!

For me the best pizzas in Zwolle. Ate once and picked up once. Both delicious. Just too far away from the south for collection, because they cool down too much.

Normally I don't like "hate comments"😅.... woman at the counter asked what I wanted... I placed the order and she said it would take 5 minutes. After fifteen minutes it was finally ready.

Great. It is affordable and then you also have to take into account what you get for it in terms of quality. They have kept to our wishes and the food was great!

Pizzas are fine, the atmosphere is okay, but it is noticeably quite empty on a Friday evening. When we wanted to order the tiramisu 3 times, it turned out that there were only 2 left to order, which surprised us because we had just seen the staff sharing a tiramisu at the table opposite us…

Last visited October 2024 The Calzone was ok. I'm not sure about the crunchy tomatoes, but otherwise, the food was ok. Service was ok too. Very good price. I'll possibly try the pasta next time to review.

This is a great pizza place, has both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is good and covers all options – pasta, pizza, calzone. Wine list not bad and can buy by the glass or bottle. The three of us covered all bases. 1 had pasta, 1 calzone and 1 a pizza. All of us were very happy with our choices. The pizza and calzone bases were lovely and thin, perfectly cooked, toppings ample and tasty. So tasty we ended up with left-overs for breakfast. The pasta was also perfectly cooked and very tasty. Thanks for the great service and lovely evening.

I thought €3 for a plastic cup of 7up was very special. The pizza (€11.50) was fine, a bit on the smaller side, good if you don't feel like eating a huge thing.

The pizza was good, I ordered pizza ai quattro formagi with cola for drink the pizza was good but the service was really nice and the staff are friendly as for the atmosphere it was so lively and there were seatings and tables inside and outside nice place in general.

Always incredibly fast delivery and great food quality at reasonable prices. We have been ordering from De Plataan for a while now and it's been great, but today i felt like the recipe was changed or something, and it tasted even better than usual! Please continue that and thank you!

You want to go into town for a while, you don't feel like cooking, but you also don't want to spend a fortune. That is exactly why I come to De Plataan. A great bite, for a great price. Are there areas for improvement? Yes, but that also means a higher price. The staff sometimes made a mistake but is also very young. If you're going to grumble about that, it's better to go somewhere else where you pay more. In short, everything was fine, 5 stars because a nice cheap eatery is a rarity these days.

the quatro formaggi was inedible, it was really a kind of plastic. pizza order taken incorrectly, few sincere apologies. Zwolle residents have little interest in catering

Had a nice meal at De Plataan with a group of 20 people. There was plenty of room in the upstairs room. The food was good. There was a wide choice of pizzas, pastas and burgers. Good price-quality ratio.

I can't really appreciate... scam 😝 at a very simple pizzeria 1 bottle of water for €9, how ridiculous! Even more expensive than at Johnny Boer. How dare you charge for it. But it is ....0.75 liter bottle as a comment. It is slightly larger than a regular one... that's why we charge it for 3x! No, we won't go here again when we are in Zwolle!

Waarschuwing…. pas op dat ze je niet oplichten! Bestel geen fles water… die kost hier maar liefst € 9,- duurder dan bij Johnny Boer! Wat een graaiers. Nee hier zien ze ons echt niet meer! Door studenten gerund restaurant…. niks Italiaans

Fast service, delicious pizza with a good size for a small price

After the disappearance of Zwolsch's tastiest chicken satay, it never became what it was. Low point, today 2 pizzas that are undercooked 😞 Last time Plane Tree.

Delicious food, value for money is right. The very young conditions were friendly and very hard working.

Very hard pizza, dull knives, so when cutting the pizzas flew over the plate (also for guests next to us)

You can enjoy a pizza here, but unfortunately the desserts are not very good. Service, on the other hand, was very friendly!

You can eat well for a reasonable price. The pasta was tasty and more than enough. Wine was served in a water glass. And it took a very long time for the drinks to arrive. Even though there were only 2 other tables. The food was delicious for the price and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

Los van het feit dat de locatie erg klein is en de bezorgers constant langs je heen lopen terwijl je rustig probeert te eten, heb ik gewoon 45 minuten met een leeg glas drinken gezeten. Zelfs meerdere wenk- en aanspreekpogingen hielpen niet. Daarnaast was de pizza erg snel koud en niet heel vullend. Voor mij niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Echter is het wel erg goedkoop, vandaar toch nog 2/5 rating.

Grabbed a quick bite before going to a music performance. Delicious food beyond expectations! Pizza with a thin base and tasty toppings, delicious pasta dishes (served hot!) and a large burger.

Here you can eat well, simple menu, price quality is good Staff are friendly I had the pizza chicken polo bbq my wife had pasta they were both fine 👌🏻

The food was very tasty and it was served quickly, the quality was really 10/10. But still, I wouldn't come back here anytime soon. Other guests are ridiculed and laughed at by the staff once the guests have left. When asked something they roll their eyes. The staff gossips loudly about guests, and they are all busier with their phones than with the customers. It's a bit like a high school class playing restaurant. But if you don't mind that and want good food for an excellent price, you've come to the right place.

We were able to get a spot for 8 people on King's Day, after we kindly asked. We were given a place and were helped kindly. We had to wait an hour for our pizza, but it was worth it and the reason for this was the crowds in the city. Good pizzas for a great price, great business!

Just ordered pizza. 1 pizza was super fresh and warm. The other pizza is dry, hard and cold. As if it had been lying somewhere for 3 hours. Very annoying.

The delivery person was very grumpy, my can of coke was missing from the order, I call them, I get someone with a grumpy voice on the phone and hangs up on me, I call again and suddenly I get a young boy on the phone and hangs up on me again. Then I try to call again after 5 minutes and a lady on the phone says that I should have added that to the order. But I still order a can of coke??? So I didn't understand this, Pasta was fine, but I asked for penne and got tagliatelle. The pizza was a bit on the dry side. We ordered plane trees once every 2 weeks, but never again from now on. That someone can be so rude on the phone.

Pizza arrived practically cold, they were sparing with toppings and the dough was tough! Could be a coincidence, but we won't order from here again

The pastas are good, the four-cheese pasta could contain just a little more cheese.

Food is mediocre; way too salty and extra toppings that were requested could not be found in the dish. Went here because it would be low budget, well the pizzas and pastas are 10 euros, I would rather pay 2 to 3 euros more for some quality. They serve half beers and the staff is grumpy (which I don't really blame them because what annoying people come here). Super noisy, not pleasant.

If you want to eat here you really have to order in the morning... Excellent pizzas

The pizza and pasta here are delicious, although the wait was quite long (~45 minutes for 6 people). I'm still giving 5 stars because the servers were very friendly.

Good prices, all pizzas are 10 euros. Large terrace where you can sit comfortably. It is quite noisy inside, the music is quite loud and the sliding of the chairs makes quite a bit of noise. But everything else is fine

De bediening mag een cursus klantgerichtheid volgen en daarnaast van het waanidee afstappen dat 45 minuten wachten op een pizza bij een half gevuld terras écht niet normale gang van zaken hoort te zijn. Ik ga immers uiteten om te eten en niet om te wachten.

Best pizza I've had, especially dough is remarkably good.

Ordered tuna pizza, after half an hour pizza arrived without tuna. I was not offered a new one, but I was offered a bowl of cold tuna that I could serve myself.

Owner was very friendly, but the service was very arrogant. Waited over half an hour for our food even though it was quiet. I also found a hair in my pasta :(
