Pizza's are great PizzaLab. And it's extremely cool to be seated around the kitchen and the big pizza oven! You literally get to watch your pizzas being prepared! The service was friendly and helpful, I would have given five stars if it was possible to pay more like in normal restaurant. Sure it's great when you dine together as a couple or with a group of people that want to pay their own way using the QR code, but if you want to pay at the end of the dinner with one bill this is not possible. Would seem to be a small adjustment in the ordering system. Considering it is surrounded by thousands of office workers that organize team dinners frequently this would make it a lot easier (you don't have to reimburse 40 receipts for a small team dinner) But, in the end it's the food that matters!

Super good pizza, thick and soft crust, while the base is thin and slightly crunchy on the outside. I felt at home ❤️

They do decent Neapolitan pizzas, you have to order and pay in the app, so not much actual contact with the staff. Place looks nice.

Amazing pizzas, but there's lots of room for improvement service wise. 1. Had to remind the wait staff for a question I asked twice 2. When I asked if one our pizzas cut be sliced/cut, the answer was 'no we're busy, there's a fork and knife on your table that you can use'. -- Update: thank you for your response. It was not for my own pizza, but for my mom who's not able to cut her own - which I explained to your wait staff. Maybe I could have lived with the explanation that this is a service that's not included, but that was not the feedback I got. The feedback I got was 'we are busy'. And next to this, it doesn't take away the other point I mentioned regarding the service. Maybe, if the experience is better next time, I'll update the review to 4/5 :). Oh and btw, I'm not upset. But was a bit disappointed by both points mentioned.

Super good food. Only that the smoke of the pizza oven is bit strong later in the night. Service is good too!

A good pizzeria with quick service (ordering and payment online) and a warm atmosphere. The pizzas were well stocked and delicious!

Tried out 'Pizzalab'. We ordered the 'Diavoletta' and the 'Parma'. Both were really good, but I prefer the Parma a bit more. Crust on the pizza was good, dough tasted amazing! Not a fan of ordering via qr code, but at least its environmental friendly. Service by employees was good and pizza was served in a flash! If you crave some pizza in the neighborhood definitely try it out!

We returned to Amsterdam for the umpteenth time, an obligatory Pizzalab stop. It's impossible not to taste a high quality pizza. Indeed, the more time passes, the better it is. Very digestible. Congratulations to all the staff. Keep it up.

The pizza was the worst pizza I have eaten for years. The crust was totally black, the dough was tough, nearly no taste on the pizza. Would not recommend it...

Lovely place with excellent pizzas!

I was eating at PizzaLab with some work colleagues and unfortunately I have to say: nomen est omen! Everything is still very much in laboratory and experimental mode. Despite repeated requests, my pizza was only served when my colleagues had already finished their meal. The pizza itself was quite bland. Ordering in advance via cell phone saves the restaurant a lot of staff and money, but this is at the expense of adequate service.

Ordering is done here via a QR code. Can be very efficient, but not if you have a larger group, because you will occupy several tables and 1 person must order for everyone to ensure that all the food is served at the same time. Even if a staff member is standing next to you and asks you for a drink, you will be referred to the QR code. Not very customer friendly. They don't have beer on tap here. You have to drink the beer that is served in the bottle from a kind of lemonade glass that is already on the table. That kills immediately. Simply serving a freshly rinsed, cold glass with your beer is the minimum. They work with time slots here, which is often the case at popular locations, but we had just finished our desert (only ordered pizza and dessert so we had not been inside for a very long time) when we were already asked to leave "because the next guests already came in." I haven't seen that, but in any case a little more play would feel more hospitable. Pizzas were fine (also according to my Italian colleagues and they are not easily satisfied when it comes to food) and the staff was friendly, but the way in which a number of matters described above are arranged makes the entire reception/experience less than hospitable.

I visited the pizzeria on Saturday, and the chef suggested the special pizza of the week. I am really grateful I listened to him! The pizza, topped with Pata Negra and porcini mushrooms, featured a unique combination that I had never experienced before. The flavors were exceptional. I highly recommend this place for its high-quality pizza.

Their pizzas are simply delicious! Probably the best pizzas we've tried in Amsterdam. Even the gluten-free option is super tasty. Staff super friendly, always provide an exceptional service!

Omg pizzas are so so good we ordered Call Me Rita, Let’s play in the garden and Chicken Time. chicken time was the best with that fresh lemon zest we are going to visit soon again thanks for that wonderful service with all smiles

I’ve traveled a lot of places and eaten a good amount of pizza, but this is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The food was incredible, the staff was super friendly, and the vibes were excellent. I could come and hang out here all night with my friends. Great place for a date night, friends to eat and chat, or family to share!! If I lived in Amsterdam, this place would be a regular for me! Please view the completely empty plates at the end of our meal.

Love their pizza! I have been here many times but never got disappointed! Pizza dough is just amazing which is very tasty, crunchy outside and soft inside..

Came here because I saw amazing pizza photos and wanted to eat on a sunny terrace. The pizzas are indeed absolutely amazing. Very good dough and super tasty quality ingredients. Tiramisu is nice as well and even bigger than on the photo. The terrace however is only sunny a very small part of the day. The place is surrounded by very high buildings so unfortunately it's mostly shaded. Still absolutely worth it to come here for the pizza itself and the nice vibe inside and the friendly staff.

Een heerlijke glutenvrije pizza gegeten, echt superlekker en heel goed deeg. Enige minpuntje, zoals wel vaker bij een glutenvrije pizza, hij mag iets langer gebakken worden. Het deeg was in het midden maar net aan gaar. Dat kwam ook door de rijkelijke topping. Ik ga beslist terug om nog een andere smaak te proberen. Dit keer koos ik voor Speck, nou wat mij betreft een aanrader! Wel even vragen om hem iets langer dan standaard te bakken.

Pizza was ok, but choice of flavours / toppings way too modern … heavily dominated by vegetarian options. Service … none basically. However the ambiance and interior is nice.

Delicious takeaway pizza. I almost made the mistake of paying for my online paid order again, but the staff kindly pointed this out to me. Pizza didn't have red sauce, but that's not unusual these days. Ambiance is suboptimal, but probably fine for the ZuidAs.

Delicious pizzas! Enjoyed it very much. Staff is friendly, but not very alert. We walked to the bar twice to place an extra order. In addition, a staff member was constantly biting her fingers. Not very hygienic.

Delicious pizzas! The service could be improved

The pizza was tasty even though a bit burned. Nice Dutch artesanal beer. What I really disliked was the fact that the staff started to (vacuum) clean the place about 30 mins prior closure which was disturbing us as well as the overall atmosphere at the place.

Do not order here!!!! Pizzas burnt and topping was off!! 😡🤦🏼‍♂️😭

This is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life... I have been travelling around Italy including Naples, eating pizzas in many countries but this one is by far the lightest and fluffiest crust I have encountered - one that just melt in your mouth with top fresh ingredients. If you are one of those pizza eaters that only eat the middle, this is not a place for you as the magic resides in the dough itself. Highly recommend if you wish to taste authentic Neapolitan pizzas (with a modern twist) and have preference for light and quality food! You will definitely not regret passing by.

One bite and for an instant you return to Italy, not to mention the staff who are fantastic, very welcoming and courteous.... When there is passion, quality never fails. Super recommended

Best pizza we have had in Amsterdam!

I had a marinara pizza and it was very good (a bit pricy), and a truffle/ice cream dessert.

The pizza toppings and the sauce are really good. The dough however unfortunately often has big burnt spots which are absolutely not edible and make the entire taste too bitter. That's the only reason why I am giving them a 4 start. The staff are nice and friendly and the service is fast. If they figure a way not to burn the dough, this will be easily a 5 start place for pizzas. Their tomato sauce is amazing.

Nous avons super bien mangé. Pizzas très bonnes, vin très bon aussi. Nous étions pendant la Gymnastrada c’est dans le quartier Zuid. Très bien accessible à pied, pas très loin de la station métro. Magnifique découverte.

As a very critical Italian I can say the pizza is very nice, the dough is elastic and soft. I personally find the edge too wide, and prefere it smaller. We had a Quattro Formaggi (the chives on top could be skipped...) and XXXAnduja.The price is high, 19,50 for a pizza...Service was really good, waiters are kind and attent, they check on you and also gave water to my dog as soon as we sat at the table. The tiramisu was disappointing, no taste in the coffee, not creamy, no mascarpone used..The sitting outside is a bit sad, only 4 tables available and no atmosphere. The Restaurant in general is not attractive, it looks more like a Take Away...

Prima eten. Maar ook niet super goedkoop. Dus vandaar 4 sterren. Vroegen om gedeelde pizza. Keuken had h’m al half om half gemaakt. Dus dat was erg goede service!

We came in and placed our order right away. But it took almost an hour for our order to finally come through, especially after checking with them a few times on the possibility of a delay. And each time it was standard reply - your pizza is in the oven, just 5 min away! Especially with a toddler with us, just three of us and that it was a weekday we were hoping that it it would come at a reasonable time. But well, it didn't! And while we couldn't stay too long ( for obvious reasons) and requested a takeaway box for our pizza, we stepped away for a few minutes to unlock cycles - we come back to pick it up and they have thrown away the box altogether. Saying that we probably didn't want it. That was really strange! Why would we ask for a takeaway box and pack two half eaten pizzas within it, if we didn't want it! We only stepped away for few minutes. :-( Not a great experience to end the day with. Hope they can get back to better efficiency coz the food has usually been good!

If you are one of those pizza eaters who eat the inside and leave the bread ring, do not go to PizzaLab. Don’t take it personally, but you do not deserve it. The bread ring is the trickiest part of pizza. While the inside is generally tasty wherever you go, the bread ring takes full mastery of the delicate art of pizza making. The bread ring of PizzaLab is a small culinary miracle: cruncy outside, but as soon as you chew, it melts in your mouth. At PizzaLab I had Italy’s best pizza ever. Qui ho mangiato la migliore pizza d’Italia. Expensive, but worth every bit of it. PS: I have no friends nor relatives working in this place…

The food was good as usual. Unfortunately the food took an hour to come - they mentioned being short staffed. Since it took so long, we had to pack our food and mentioned this to the staff. I happened to forget our take away box for a couple of minutes, but when I went back they had already cleared the table and thrown away an entire box of pizza! Very disappointing the staff didn't wait to see if it was forgotten despite us having mentioned it couple of times to them - an entire delicious pizza just thrown away :(

This is a small cosy pizza restaurant with a great atmosphere. The pizza was delicious. A thin base light and airy crust with a wonderfully tasty tomatoey sauce I have tasted on a pizza in a long time. Well worth a visit if you like pizza! 😋

Voor het eerst bij PizzaLab een Pizza gegeten, was wel benieuwd als je Lab toevoegt aan de naam dan verwacht ik wel iets van uitgedokterd voedsel! Nou het deeg was zowel luchtig als elastisch echt bijzonder! Je proeft dat er louter natuurlijke bestanddelen worden gebruikt je smaakpapillen worden verrast. Een echte aanrader als je een keer Pizza 2.0 wilt eten-:)

What a pizza 🍕! I think that pizza makers are using the best ingredients, the half-products taste so good. I and my partner are regulars and we always choose to go to pizza lab than any other pizzeria. It is one of my favourite restaurants.

The best pizza crust I’ve ever had! Friendly service and lots of unusual options. We had been recommended it and wanted something easy and tasty straight off our flight and it did not disappoint! Delicious.
