Had dinner with a large group (30 people). The food was excellent, served promptly and efficiently. It was very warm and noisy inside, though.

Bad experience! Upon arrival, four of us were seated at a small table. After some insistence, we were moved, with difficulty, to a larger table. During dinner, the waitress asked if she could take the plates. I said she could take the pizza plate, but she also took the bruschetta plate, which still had food on it. When I later asked her what had happened to the bruschetta, she said it had been thrown away. No apology was offered, and her attitude gave the impression she hadn't made a mistake. Later, a group of about 30 people arrived, which significantly increased the noise level and made normal conversation at our table impossible. How annoying that can be for a child! While I understand there's little that can be done about this, the waitress would benefit from additional training in customer service.

We wanted a pasta meal close to our hotel. La Fontana satisfied that, but it was so noisy that we ate and left as quickly as we could. Didn't enjoy the meal even though the food was good.

Ok, pizza place, nothing special. Attention isn't professional, waiters seems distracted/ not trained. Great salads and desert. Fair pricing. Good location, unfortunately quite dirty floor.

We asked the guy if have a table. And he say that we have to wait. Everything is fine. I ask what about one table that have the candles on the top and he say, i have a reservation. And the guy push me to go to the enter. Without any reason. I think the guy don't know how to treat the people. Very sill… Really bad service just arriving. Bye.

Friendly staff. Had a super tasty pasta with Parma ham and mushrooms! The pesto pizza was also very popular! Enjoyed it very much.

Decent Italian food though a little overpriced. Great atmosphere though as you can choose to either sit inside or outside near the canal.

Been twice, both times all the staff were quietly staring at their phones. Either she was leaning on the bar while they were on their phones or they were all just sitting quietly at a table, on their phones. It was incredibly disturbing to watch, their eyes just couldn't get enough of it. Both times we were served very well, but both times the restaurant was almost empty. The food is fine, but the desserts seem to be ready-made with a bowl and already taken out of the freezer. I had the ice cream with caramel and it just looked and tasted like Duke's ice cream. It was all fine, but the fact that they were all on their phones both times we were there really bothers me and I don't understand where the manager or boss is to say anything about it. They are all very young girls, so I understand that they may not know any better or simply not be interested as a side job, but as an owner you want to present a better image, I think.

I never recived my order I was waiting for an hs and 50 minutes and it never arrived. When I called nobody answered. NEVER AGAIN

If you're in the mood for some tasty Italian food, skip this place. We were early guests. And that clearly means: settle as quickly as possible, then maybe three or four rounds can be made with this table. The food is downright mediocre: pizza ingredients are far from quality, a panna cotta is purchased (ice cream???) dessert of the cheapest kind!), and a 'homemade' tiramisu that tastes less original than what you find in the average supermarket . Even before I had swallowed my last sip of wine, we were asked if we wanted to order anything (with the clear intention of otherwise leaving.) After only 40 minutes we were sitting outside again: two worthless courses, three wines together: 70 euros and, above all, a lot of enjoyment of life poorer. I don't recommend anyone ever step foot in here.

My favorite pizzeria to visit when I come to Tivoli for a concert. Food is always good, with the Pasta Carbonara I didn't leave any of the sauce. The owner always seems very sympathetic and hospitable to me. In addition, I personally enjoy dining in this cozy restaurant, isolated from the outside world (you are in a basement).

The food was certainly tasty. It was very noisy, so you had to talk really loud to hear each other. I ordered a starter and it took half an hour for it to arrive anyway. We received the main course at a reasonable pace. I was full after a starter and main course, so unfortunately I couldn't try dessert.

We went to this place because we wanted to eat something nice and quick before a concert. We arrived at around 17:30 and there was plenty of space. The pizzas were delicious and the service was nice and quick! Will definitely remember this place next time I need to be at Tivoli Vredenburg

Recently had dinner at La Fontana and we had a nice evening. The location is beautiful and atmospheric, an ideal place for an evening out. The food was delicious, especially the tortellini with gorgonzola sauce was highly recommended; the flavors combined perfectly and the dish tasted really good. The only downside was the noise, which sometimes made it difficult to hear each other well. The service was fine, friendly and attentive. All in all a good experience, and we would love to come back!

Pasta and Pizza were delicious. Quiet staff, didn't have to wait long for the food. A bit loud.

Unfortunately it took a long time for the food to arrive. Perhaps from now on you can indicate what the average is waiting time is? Furthermore, very pleasant.

Food was just “ok”. Very simple and nothing too special (at least the pasta). The service is not bad, but it could definitely be better…it was a Saturday and the restaurant was crowed, so the service was a bit slow, even for a Glas of water. Cocktail Limoncello Spritz also just ok.

My daughter and I had a delicious pizza and pasta here. There was one table left. It was pleasantly busy and had a pleasant atmosphere. The service was also good. In our opinion, highly recommended!!

The starter was not bad (bruschetta) but the main course was really tasteless, I left more than half of it. The waitress asked (afterwards) if I liked it and I replied, no, it was tasteless. “Okay,” she said To top it all off, I was also charged for a little extra Parmesan cheese. Too bad, but this was once and never again

Delicious pizza for decent price :) Today I had a pleasure to eat amazing margherita in this restaurant. Although I came alone, super friendly crew made sure that I feel well and welcome. Thank you for great experience!

I don't know which Italian dares to label ice cream as panna cotta, but a respectable place doesn't do this. Panna cotta is panna cotta period. The house wine was also really pure, but I should have known in advance for that price. Nothing special, I can also make what they make there at home.

Delicious food. Unfortunately I didn't have time for dessert as it was a long wait for everything. We were only able to eat a pizza with our group within 2 hours. We had to ask for a lot ourselves. Missed opportunity for the business. The pizza itself made up for a lot.

Delicious food. Great pizza. But because of the noise, my friend and I couldn't have a conversation. Very unpleasant stay. Bad acoustics. Too bad about the evening.

Came unexpectedly with 9 people and received a friendly welcome and ate delicious pizza.

Good swear, nice inside, nice staff, good food

If you are lucky enough to get a table on the canal, the atmosphere on a warm summer's night is amazing. Unfortunately, the pasta is nothing special. I could make it better at home. The service was awful. We saw the waiter three times: to take our order, serve drinks and bring food. We never even received our appetizer nor was it mentioned or on the bill. Took us ages to find the waiter to get our bill. Would have liked additional drinks and desserts, but chose to avoid more waiting.

The garlic paste was a bit lacking and bland. There was also no salt and pepper on the table and both the table and the menu were sticky. We had to pay extra for a bowl of parmesan cheese. Friendly staff and nice location.

Slecht belegde taaie pizza, beter bevroren gegeten. Lijkt op een goede Pizzeria van boven, valt erg tegen. Canibale besteld met gehakt en spek.... nooit zo'n aanfluiting gegeten; 10 reepjes spek an een cm bij 3 en 4 mm. Smakeloze saus en 2 eetlepels gehakt lijkende saus erbij, bah! Ophaler ging het doorgeven aan manager en die gaf er geen donder om. Nooit weer.

Too bad we couldn't enjoy our pizzas on the terrace. Places were already taken…. Delicious food and our pizzas were on the table within 10 minutes

Waited over 1 hour for food. 3 guest tables after us all received their food. After complaining, it suddenly went away within 2 minutes. Food was left standing, only paid for what was eaten and left immediately. A pity. Absolutely not recommended.

Tasty pizzas, a pity that many staff do not speak Dutch.

Salade bestond uit vooral sla en dan ook nog het deel dicht bij de krop. een paar komkommerschijfjes, een tomaatje en dat was het. Voor de salade met tomaat en mozarella stond er alleen 'poederpeper' op tafel, geen vers gemalen wat 100x lekkerder is. Pizza Quatro Stagione was goed, maar de vegetarische smaakte 'zuur'. Alsof er groente op zat wat uit een potje op zuur kwam? Niet lekker. Daarna koffie besteld, maar de automaat was kapot. Hoe het werd gezegd kwam het ook erg ongeloofwaardig over. Het was Koningsdag en er moest omzet worden gedraaid. Hoe sneller de mensen weg waren, hoe beter. Dan kon er weer een ander stel eten. Bij het afrekenen vonden we het al prijzig, iets meer dan € 90. Bleek de bon van een andere tafel te zijn, en dat van ons was rond de € 60 (wat het ook niet waard was). Wel een excuus en geld teruggehad, maar nog geen drankje van het huis om het goed te maken. We snappen dat het met Koningsdag rommelig en druk is, maar geen excuus om dit eten te serveren waarvan 50% goed was en 50% niet. Nooit meer terug. We hadden spijt dat we niet terug waren gegaan naar het hotel om daar te eten.

Had a good pizza and a great service on a day that everything else was full.

Terrible service, we had to wait 1.5 hours for our pizzas while tables next to us who had arrived much later already received theirs. The pizzas were also tastless. Lots of excuses from the floor manager. Never going here again.

Before we sat down, we indicated that we only had an hour and asked if it was possible to eat a pizza within that time. After confirmation, we sat down and ordered immediately, but only received the pizza after 50 minutes, which we had to eat very quickly. , very annoying. In between they said that they had forgotten the order and that the pizzas would be there within 4 minutes, but then they waited another 20+ minutes without any excuse. Very unprofessional. There are much better restaurants in the area where service is important.

Great pizza aglio olio with spicy peppers, we have been coming here regularly for a while and are very satisfied with the pizzas and the service. Owner is always very involved and can be found in the restaurant!

Die Sitzplätze direkt an der Gracht sind einfach nur schön. Das Essen ist lecker. Wir hatten zwei Pizzen mit je einem Glas des Hausweins. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war einwandfrei. Allerdings sind wir es wohl nicht mehr gewohnt, dass am Nachbartisch geraucht wird.

Been coming here for over 10 years (from student days), it was a bit less for a while, but nowadays it's better than ever!

Erg lekkere pizza’s! Het restaurant ziet er vanaf buiten niet zo bijzonder uit, maar wanneer je beneden in het restaurant bent, is het erg gezellig. Het personeel is vriendelijk. Vergeleken met veel andere restaurants in Utrecht is het eten en drinken hier goed betaalbaar, goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Lekkere verse ingrediënten. De indeling van het restaurant is goed, er is genoeg ruimte. Ik ga hier zeker vaker komen!

The food was great anf the waiters were really nice. There was also live music when we were there which was lovely.

Went here after our visit at the vakantiebeurs. The pizza was good, but 18€ per pizza is way too much! The worst of all, and hence why only 2 🌟 is that they charge each guest with 90 cents "energy costs" !!! Have never seen anything like that before. If you don't have money to put on the heating for your guests, consider keeping the place closed. I am not sure this is legal.

Gewoon lekker, eenvoudig en vriendelijk

De pizza was koud en had weinig smaak. De eigenaar liet duidelijk merken dat we tijd genoeg hadden gehad en dat we moesten opstappen. De medewerkers waren erg vriendelijk.

Super lekker eten voor een betaalbare prijs. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die het een topavond maakt. Aanrader.

This Italian place is very nice because you can decide if you want to sit outside close to the historical Utrecht canal or of you want to sit inside on the other side (if it's cold for example). Sitting outside is a super cool experience since there are always boats or ducks passing by. Let's talk about the food: we had the lasagna and tortellini. The lasagna was pretty good and tasted as I like my lasagnas to taste. I personally didn't like the tortellini but my girlfriend did so it was still good.

Visited as a group of 4. The service was fine although a bit slow. Pasta dello chef was nice, but the ravioli tasted store bought. The pizzas looked like the better option.

Ik ben hier nu 2 keer met een grote groep geweest en beide keren werden we snel bediend en was het eten erg lekker. Leuke sfeer, we zullen hier zeker nog vaker terugkomen!
