nice place, good pasta and friendly staff. very familiar. also affordable, great for students. my only point of recommendation is to put a little less oil/sauce on the pastas. but overall, very yummy. i also liked the bread they added to plate the pasta

Neat evening with the guys, well-groomed. I wasn't hungry because I had already had a few cups of coffee but the waitress advised me to order a pizza Margarita. Mad sales skills or not, I ate it all because it was so divinely delicious, what a piece of advice! Behind us there was a Bernlef reunion dinner going on. Nice people, were also up for a little chat about that good old time. Laughing 5 stars for this establishment.

At the end of the Ebbingestraat lies this cozy pizzeria. Good food and good service. This is where you go for a good pizza or excellent pasta.

This pizzeria is not only very good and tasty, it also has a very nice atmosphere. I like coming there! Due to my health, I am currently unable to leave the house or pick it up myself. Due to an error by Thuisbezorgd, I did not receive the right pizza (it contained an allergen). Home delivery was not available after this campaign, but the lovely people of Catania simply delivered a new pizza. Sooo sweet! Kudos!

Excellent pizzeria on the Nieuwe Ebbingestraat in Groningen. The decor could be a bit more atmospheric, but what a nice and hospitable hostess 👍 (I immediately felt welcome)! In addition to pizzas, they also have pasta, lasagna and fish & meat dishes on the menu. As a starter I went for some delicious Bruschetta's. And as a main course I went for the Mabella pizza. This is 1 of their top 5 pizzas. And how good it was! Highly recommended.

Realm Upon entering there was an immediate warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt like you were coming home, but with the cozy dynamics you would expect from a good restaurant. The music was at just the right volume: present enough to create atmosphere, but never disturbing. The choice of music also matched the look of the restaurant. Staff The staff deserves a separate mention. Everyone was treated kindly and with equal respect, without distinction. The employees chatted with the guests in a relaxed manner, which contributed to the homely and accessible atmosphere. Active consideration was given, such as offering to serve the main course immediately after the starter. The service was prompt and everything went smoothly. To eat The food was of very high quality. The pizzas had a thin, yet crispy base and were not too greasy. You clearly notice that we work with fresh ingredients and attention to detail. Both the pizzas and pasta tasted excellent. Visible effort has been made to distinguish itself from other pizzerias, both in terms of taste and presentation. The portions are more than sufficient; you don't feel like you're lacking anything. Conclusion We will definitely return here again. This pizzeria definitely deserves a place on our list of favorite places to eat in Groningen. Definitely recommended for those looking for a fun evening out with really good food and a nice atmosphere.

Not worth it, go to a fast food pizza are better and much cheaper (8€ for a bottle of water ??). Besides, the behavior of a man is intolerable and disrespectful !

I don't understand the positive reviews. Staff with violent behavior. If you plan to have a pleasant time avoid it at all costs!

The manager was extremely unpleasant and violent towards customers.

How is it possible to leave open a restaurant that allows itself to give the wrong order to customers, put pressure on them and then physically attack these customers when they try to explain this problem??? It is a real shame to see such acts taking place and I recommend absolutely everyone to flee this pizzeria at all costs.

The owner is VIOLENT ! He assaulted a young man in front of all the customers ! Don’t come here if you want to be safe !

Traumatic experience, flee this restaurant!!! The manager of the pizzeria physically assaulted my boyfriend, forcing him out of the restaurant by holding him by the back of his neck. I am extremely shocked by my experience. A little more context: I order a calzone by changing an ingredient, I am told that it is possible. At the time of service, (1 hour after our arrival!) a pizza that has nothing to do with it arrives, I am told that it is the one I ordered. The manager arrives and begins to take a threatening tone, indicating that he doesn't have time for us anyway, that the room is full (the other tables were served, and what's more, I had reservations!) but also that we cannot change the pizzas, my friend indicates that in this case we should not say that this is possible. Later in the evening, I try to explain to the waitress that it really wasn't the one I wanted, if it's possible to have a commercial gesture. They are really not accommodating and try to force me to pay the entire bill without discussion. Subsequently, while my friend explains to the next table what is happening, the manager grabs my friend by the shoulders, in front of the whole room and forces him to leave the restaurant (without even giving him time to collect his things!), then he shoves him against the door then violently grabs him by the back of the neck, leaving significant red marks on his neck. I am extremely shocked and think this restaurant should close. We were forced to pay for an order we did not place, and were assaulted. Going out on a Friday night and paying to get mugged is unheard of!

A small, comfortably furnished restaurant. Prices are good. Bruschetta tasted excellent. The 2 different pizzas too. Well topped, fresh and straight from the oven. The waiting time was also okay. Will come again. Thanks.

Very delicious food; We have tried the pizzas, pastas and lasagna and everything is very well cooked. 100% recommended! We were with a group of friends during the weekend without reservation and the service is also really nice and friendly.

The reviews about this company are very misleading. Ordered two pizzas and bruschetta yesterday. Everything could be thrown straight into the trash. I have never seen such a thin pizza base... very economical with the dough... also everything on the pizza from a can... It was too rancid to touch so I had to throw it away after receiving... also. the bruschetta... which creative amateur chef messed around with that... All in all... the reviews are incorrect and don't be misled by these scammers

Atmosphere is fine, not very warmly decorated, but a bit of everything together... Food is fine but we had to wait a very long time. Bottom was hard, okay.

Poor quality pizza and over-cooked pasta. Service very poor and vague in stating our quality issues. Looks like microwave pizzas and frozen pasta. Previously not the problem, but unfortunately now it is with these owners and employees.

Had dinner here with 3 friends, super nice and cozy place! Not expecting much from the outside, but once inside it exceeded my expectations! Very nice owner and sweet staff. Definitely recommended to go here and would love to come back :)

Pizza was very mediocre. Really not what you can expect from a pizzaria. After ordering an Irish coffee, the owner thinks it is normal not to serve you beer but water. Never go there. Ingredients are apparently hidden under the cheese. service was quite nice.

We were there early, at half past five and therefore the only visitors, the food was fine but there was no atmosphere despite the Italian background music.

Leuk restaurant, vriendelijke bediening. Fijne Italiaanse achtergrondmuziek. Eten (carbonara) smaakte lekker. Tot dat moment alles prima. Bij het afrekenen bleek de prijs niet te kloppen. De prijzen was gewijzigd en verhoogd, maar de kaart was nog niet aangepast. Tja, dan heb je aan mij de verkeerde. Heb daarom ook geen fooi gegeven. Die zat in mijn geval bij de verhoging.

Al jaren de beste authentieke pizza’s en pasta’s. Qua smaak zoveel beter dan de rest in Groningen en omgeving. Bijzonder voordelig ook!

This was the worst pizza in years for us. A flat tasteless calzone pizza with soggy mushrooms. The salami had a bland taste. Not much filling in the calzone. The other had a gorgonzola special pizza where the taste of gorgonzola was very economical. The atmosphere could use some more attention. No candles on the table, lighting a bit too bright. Nice Italian music and friendly staff.

Worthless place. The pizza bases almost looked like they were made of cardboard. The lasagna shouldn't even have that name: it was greasy cheese soup. An Italian cooking course for the staff is urgently needed!

Vanavond gegeten bij deze fantastische pizzeria. Hier staat gastvrijheid met stipt bovenaan. Een familiebedrijf die zich onderscheid door met echt verse producten te werken en traditioneel Italiaanse gerechten te bieden. De Siciliaanse pizza’s zijn zonder te overdrijven te lekkerste die ik ooit in een Nederlandse pizzeria heb gehad. Naast de verfijnde smaak is het deeg perfect, dun en knapperig. Wij belden of er plek was en door uitbreiding van het restaurant was er genoeg ruimte voor ons 10’en. Achmed maar ook zijn zoon zijn perfecte gastheren, en super lief voor de kinderen. Dit kan maar zo onze meest favoriete pizzeria zijn! Dank Achmed en team, ga zo door!

Heerlijke pizza’s! Halen hier regelmatig pizza’s op, is nog nooit tegen gevallen. Ook wel eens in het restaurant gegeten, goede service en eten van goede kwaliteit. Vriendelijke personeel, complimenten voor de jonge man die er vaak aan het werk is, erg aardig en correct! Ga zo door.

Ein tolles kleines Restaurant für die Familie. Sehr gutes Essen zu günstigen Preisen. Es war sehr schön bei Euch.

Wirklich ein Ort an dem vor allem die Gastfreundschaft neben gutem Essen groß geschrieben wird. Insbesondere auch mit Kindern. Wir haben selten ein Restaurant erlebt, dass so liebevoll mit uns und unserer Tochter umgegangen ist. Und das Essen hat auch noch geschmeckt!

Was niet echt een sfeervolle eetgelegenheid. Bediening is goed, evenals de pizzabodem. Maar de vulling van de pizza heeft mij niet kunnen blij maken. Het tekort aan zalm wordt goedgemaakt met een teveel aan rucalo. Het handgemaakte nagerecht was op en hebben we dus moeten missen. Enigszins teleurgesteld aan de hand van het hoge review-cijfer, hebben we afgerekend en zijn vertrokken.

Zojuist de 'Aglio e Olio e Peperoncino.' Niet alleen uitstekend van kwaliteit ook zijn het supervriendelijke mensen! Aanrader dus

Woorden doen deze review te kort. Gewoon langs gaan! Bij binnenkomst werden we direct verwelkomt door de gastvrouw. De sfeer binnen is prettig en gemoedelijk. Het personeel is daarnaast uiterst aardig en behulpzaam. Het voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht waren beide verbluffend. Waarschijnlijk gemaakt met verse ingrediënten, en dat proef je. De prijs kwaliteit is uiterst goed. Voor niet een heel gek prijsje, super goed gegeten. Wij komen hier nog eens terug!
