Visited Pleur for the first time. We had the 'lunch break', which consists of the soup of the day (smoked paprika soup that day), a Pleur baguette, and a vitamin bowl. Delicious, fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and not pushy. We will certainly come here more often.

Had a delicious coffee and later in the afternoon, a glass of wine and a snack platter. The service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. And that music…ah, the sounds of Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan, and ELO. With a bit of luck, the barista might even hum a chorus. Heavenly. I'll take a liter of Pleur.

After our cave tour, we ended up here on the terrace, as we'd already spotted it in the morning with a sunny terrace. Friendly and good service. Delicious fresh juice, and the French toast was delicious.

I had a wonderful lunch with my 85-year-old grandmother, who is gluten and lactose intolerant. We received a friendly welcome and were given detailed explanations of the dishes. They even turned down the radio a bit so Grandma could have a relaxed conversation with me. So sweet! We'll be back soon, thanks for the wonderful care.

Dear people of Pleur, we were in the restaurant at noon with a delicious cappuccino and coconut milk. We walked up St. Pieterberg and then enjoyed a delicious lunch outside on the terrace. The staff was very friendly and provided explanations and advice on the various dishes. They even put up an umbrella for us, so we could get out of the direct sun for a bit. We finished our lunch with another cup of coffee and a pleasant chat. This was our third time here. Whether it was quiet or busy, the friendliness was always there. Excellent value for money too. A very cozy atmosphere with a great music playlist and absolutely delicious food made with love. Fresh, artisan vegan/vegetarian food. My boyfriend loved the oyster mushroom shwarma, which really surprised me because he is a serious carnivore. We cannot wait to come back!

We regularly go to Pleur for breakfast and lunch. Outside, you can enjoy the sun even early in the day. Inside, it's also very cozy. The service and food are always excellent. The breakfast platter is always our favorite!

Very tasty breakfast and extremely friendly staff!!

Not really recommended... It took ages to order and even longer for the food to come out of the kitchen (other guests left for this reason). The food was mediocre/okay. The açaí bowl was incredibly watery and not very tasty. The veggie burger was slightly better, but nothing special. The weirdest part was that the staff just sat by the entrance smoking while we had a table just three meters away. It was truly rude and disgusting.

I was here on Saturday morning, June 7th. The person working was completely absorbed in her own world and didn't even look up or around. Four people came in after me and were helped immediately. I walked out after waiting fifteen minutes, and even that went unnoticed. Such a small shop, not even full, and yet they don't even notice that people are waiting. Very poor.

Fine, but not great. The flat white was more like a cappuccino and the ‘sourdough bread’ was just a bake-off roll.. Nice staff!

Dear, here are the reasons for my 3 stars as requested: a very long wait for taking our order and serving; I had asked for a smoothie but received a cappuccino instead, and then had to wait a very long time for the smoothie (my husband had time to drink his latte macchiato AND the cappuccino we didn't order); the smoothie was apparently prepared but you forgot to serve it; for me, the smoothie lacked some sweetness and yogurt or milk, I found it a bit tasteless; we had asked for water for the dog, which we never received; the ordered cinnamon roll tasted good but was quite dry. Very friendly staff but apparently somewhat inexperienced and overwhelmed...

it is a nice cosy place to enjoy a coffee, while you are studying. or even grabbing a bite with some friends,... the service is great and have a nice menu

Simply 5 stars, nothing bad to say about Pleur! I drove here from Belgium for high tea, and it was totally worth it. Plenty of parking, a friendly welcome and helpful staff, delicious snacks, and a peaceful setting. A lovely place everyone would want in their neighborhood. The only downside is the tea selection; we're more of a green/lighter tea drinker, and we found the selection a bit too dark. Again, everything else is fantastic! Keep up the good work!

Had lunch here today with a friend and did some studying at the same time. Upon arrival, we politely asked if studying was allowed, which seemed no problem. We sat at a slightly larger table, ordered lunch and drinks, and nothing further was said about it. Not even five minutes after we finished eating, a staff member asked us in a rather unfriendly manner if we wanted to move to a smaller table because a group of three had arrived. Surprisingly, there was a large shared table available where they could have easily sat, but apparently we had to make room. Had this been done in a friendly manner, we would have had fewer, if any, objections. In retrospect, however, it's still a peculiar thing to ask paying customers. The staff didn't seem welcoming from the start, and after this incident, we didn't feel welcome at all. Moreover, the food was mediocre. Not a place I would recommend.

We had a reservation and lunch with a group of seven. We waited over an hour for our food. When we received our food, there was an error in the order, and one of us received the wrong meal. We received no updates (sorry, preparing your food will take a little longer), an apology, or compensation. The coffee and food were okay, nothing special. The portions were very small for some. It's a shame, as this restaurant has potential, especially with the growing demand for vegan and vegetarian food. Perhaps they should be more customer-focused in the future.

Very decent and special vegan restaurant in Maastricht! The inner vibe was awesome as many plants and plots were part of the decoration. The staffs were also nice and friendly. Highly recommend visiting here for a short dining hour. Toilets are also available here!

Today we walked on the Pietersberg. Coincidentally we passed by Pleur and we decided to take a lunch for the road. We were helped very friendly and accurately. The baguettes were baked and very well filled. We enjoyed lunch along the way! Compliments.

Good coffee, and a very good selection of vegan cakes and a vegan cake in the program. Staff very nice and helpful. Location is a bit shady in a side street which is very pleasant on hot days. It's a shame that the milk alternative still costs 30 cents extra here.

Nice location and very tasty food

Recently went for a walk and then had lunch at Pleur, located in a pearl of a location. The pulled pork was really nicely seasoned and tender. Then I treated myself to a piece of Limburg apricot pie with whipped cream. The most impressive! 😁

I sat on the terrace in the sun today where I ordered coffee and pie Had lunch here a year ago because they specialize in vegan food. So I assumed quality! How disappointing it was for me today as a Maastricht resident! A piece of apricot pie from a bread factory! While nearby are the sales of pies from a renowned pastry chef. Really tasteless. Left with a stomach ache and frustration that this tasteless pie is offered in this Burgundian city!

We found this amazing cafe and we are here for the second time. Highly recommend coming here for amazing vegan food. Pitta Swarma is my fave. Closely followed by Falafel bowl. The beer is good too! Staff are brilliant. Come on down, you won’t regret it.

Very tasty, cozy and nice place to go. Nice simple menu card. Delicious vegetarian dishes. Enjoy on the terrace or sit nice and cozy inside. Both approved :) After lunch the st. Pieterberg, Pleur has the perfect location for this. I will definitely come back again. Oh yes, what I also really like is that it is located just outside the busy center. So if you consciously look for it, you will find a gem just a few minutes' walk from the city center.

Unfortunately we were sent away because the staff needed to recover from the busy lunches! Many tables were not occupied.

Delicious vegetarian lunch, slightly different from the standard dishes.

We passed by this place, on our way up to the fort. I think it looks very cozy. While we were walking by the Fort there were a few eating/drinking places. My husband would have been in there, but I lured him down to this one instead. I probably won't be allowed to decide next time. First, it took a long time before anyone even asked if we wanted anything. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and 2 croissants (when we saw the big delicious gentleman at the neighboring table got). After that it felt like time just stood still. A couple with 1 child had not even been asked when after a very long time we got our coffee but no croissant. They were about to leave several times. We asked for our croissant and got a yes yes. When we finished the coffee, 2 mini croissants came on the table. Totally unbaked. We didn't even want to eat them. Since we couldn't wait to also pay, we went in and asked to pay. It seemed as if the waiters did not keep track of where they had been and whether new ones arrived. When we left, the couple with the child had still not received any pension. Very disappointing experience when you see there are otherwise good reviews. It will be a place I remember because I won't have to look for the place again😒

It's really cozy here. The owner is sweet and smiling. The toilets are clean and smell good. The food and drinks tasted wonderful. Really worth a visit.

If there's anything I hate is the lack of creativity in restaurants. It's always the same repeated food 😪 That's not the case here, the menu is full of varied food and options that I have never seen.

Very nice little restaurant with a great ambience, nice music and friendly service. We came at 9 a.m. to have breakfast before heading to the caves later. There was a great selection here with reasonable prices. The food was very tasty. Really great here. We would come again :).

After a walk through St. Peter's Basilica, we settled down at Pleur: the cappuccino was delicious, as was the food! The breakfast platter is highly recommended! I'll definitely return!

Nice little Foodbar. The food was amazing. The server was really kind. I would definitely recommend this place. It's hip but still with really comforting food and drinks. It's quite small so not really suitable for large groups. I would say around 4 people is comfortable but a bigger group you would really have to call ahead.

We visited Pleur after a visit to the Sint Pieter Caves early in December. Definitely a good place to have lunch in Maastricht! Service was a bit slow. The food was very tasty, though - I had the grilled cheese sandwich.

If you are looking for a cozy place with lots of plants to have a coffee - this is the place. There's one thing I prioritize in my daily basis: having my afternoon coffee with some tasty vlaair, while working on a cozy place, and this might have be the place for it. It wasn't crowded, the food was good (although pricy), the space was beautiful, but there's one thing I would change - the background music. They were playing eletronic/pop music from 2016 really loud, which not only was disturbing to my work, but also didn't match the aesthetic of the coffee shop. It has potential to be one of my favourite spots!

Recently had High Tea. In the balance between savory and sweet, the very sweet pastries in particular had a significant predominance. Savory snacks were sparse. Service took a long time. Strange that at the start it was said that you had to pay extra for milk in your coffee. Afterwards this turned out to be for the special coffees. Thought it was pricey depending on what you got. No repeat for us...

Friendly, good coffee and vlaai

Pleur, despite its name, is a very cheerful café restaurant! The menu is vegetarian-centric, with a large number of vegan options. You will find plenty of options for brunch, full meals, and also drinks (parties without alcohol are absolutely possible here). The vegan pulled pork is really delicious: you'll want a second one (and treat yourself, it's only €11). Also recommended: the Pumpkin Spice Mate (the same as this Starbucks classic but much more delicious!

Met 'Pleur' ​​today and rule 1 worked out quite well! The atmosphere, food and service were sublime. We had made a reservation for 2 and at the last minute my daughter also came along. They just added an extra chair :) Thanks!

Nice vibe, comfy seating and a nice lunch! We shared the apple caramel pancakes and the grilled cheese sandwich, and had a cappuccino and espresso. Prices are high but okay, worth it.
