POTAÉ (King Kumpir) in Erasmuspark

Today during my visit to [POTAE] I was treated in a particularly rude manner. An employee openly laughed at me, without any reason or respect. I found this behavior not only offensive, but also completely unprofessional. As a customer I expect to be taken seriously, not ridiculed. This experience has disappointed me deeply and I will not be returning here. I hope this company takes steps to better train their staff in customer service.

Fast and healthy vegetarian food with vegan options. The price is not bad considering the food prices in Amsterdam and the portions are medium. If you prefer a bigger portion, the bowl is better because you can put more. The staff is friendly and they speak English.

Food is always delicious here, fast service + friendly staff

This review is for the staff, not for the food. The branch closes at 9pm Amsterdam time, I was there at 8:58 inside the shop, the lady said I can't order the food(in a rude way). She can't speak english so she said to the fellow guy to tell us that we are closed. I was there with my family and travelled quite a lot to reach there with a baby. It was quite windy outside and specifically it was Eid day(Suikerfeest) so I expect some favor or at least polite way of saying it. The place was full of people already inside eating. It wouldn't cost them much of time or resources. I would expect a bit of curtsey from the staff. It may have used just few minutes of them. I also asked if I can get a take away but she was still reluctant and rude. I think she might be the shift manager. I do understand that time ended but being with a kid in cold travelling specifically for that was heart broken. Based on my experience with the staff, will never visit them again.

We had a fantastic meal here!! We had the spicy kumpir (baked potato) and the homemade apple/ginger tea :) You can put all the toppings you want on it and they also advise what is tasty! In short: a really nice place to have a bite to eat with super friendly people 🥰

Good food quality, big portions, king Lumpur is 9 EURO, but IT s really big.

I always take a falafel bowl, you can put it together yourself and fill it to the brim, then they add delicious crispy falafel on top. They have very tasty homemade dressings. Service is top notch, everything is spotlessly clean and prices are very reasonable!

The day after I ate here I got a really bad stomach flu and vomited all the tuna from the kumpir, never again.

Pretty tasty stuff! I had no idea what I was eating lol

Falafal plate taken. Choice of brown or white pita. Nicely laid out plate, various sauces/tappanade that you can put on the pita. Could have had a little more sauce, but upon request I received bottles of sambal and garlic sauce. Fries nice and crispy, but for me they could have been a little harder. Most importantly, it tasted excellent with lots of vegetables and certainly enough for an average meal. I'll come back again!

Never had such a bad meal before, I can tell you it's not the potatoes because they are tasty, but the staff who have to prepare this for you are horrible, as if they have to pay for the food for you. Poor potatoes!

I took a kumpir with chicken, worst choice I ever made! The kumpir itself was still doable but the ingredients in it were old and the chicken was spoiled and raw. I was sick for 3 days because of this and vomited several times🤢. This was my first and definitely my last time! Disgusting.

Voor een groep collega’s bestellen wij regelmatig eten. Dit is gisteren misgegaan, waarbij er geen rekening is gehouden met doorgegeven allergieën. Wij hebben gebeld om dit aan te geven, waarop werd gezegd dat het er niet bijstond. Later was het oh niet gelezen. Na lang aandringen werd er toegezegd binnen een half uur het juiste te brengen. Na 40 minuten hebben wij opnieuw gebeld, maar ze waren aan het wachten op de bezorger. 2 en een half uur later weer gebeld en eerst 3x geen gehoor. Uiteindelijk konden we een kortingsbon krijgen, maar aangegeven eten nodig te hebben, aangezien wij aan het werk waren. Dit zou geregeld worden en we zouden een terugkoppeling krijgen. Niks vernomen en ook geen eten. Om 21:30 uur kwam de annulering. Wij bestellen hier niet meer!

Kumpir is tasty, but small potatoes. What I find worse is that they charge an extra 25 cents for SUP. I really think this is a scam. You're sitting there eating right now. Just give a sign for example.

Delicious kumpir, fast service.

Ordered baked potatoes 3 times and saw that the employee wiped the used fork with orange drippings on it with a paper napkin. There was also paper still stuck to the fork. I didn't think about it until I saw that same fork being used for my baked potato. Indicated that there was paper on it and the fork was neatly wiped clean with another paper napkin. I indicated that I did not think this was hygienic and whether a clean fork could be used. An employee who acted quite irritated indicated that this is the working method. (this is so unreal to me, you can't tell me that you use TWO forks to cook baked potatoes all day long?! They replace the pan with the wok pretty much every time. You can't even replace your fork) And isn't that was too much to ask for the employee, I asked if she would please wash the fork. The employee indicated that she would do so as long as I asked normally next time. I asked if she could explain this and the employee indicated that I should adjust my tone. I was deeply ashamed and I still don't know why. No next time for me.

We bought king baked potatoes. You can choose whatever you want and put it inside. It was delicious, I will come again. It would be nice if you just add black olives :)

Kumpir (forest and leafy) the seller simply changes the price on the spot with an extra 0.50. WEIRD but OK, I'm willing to pay more for quality. But there isn't one... you have little choice, not even something as simple as tomato and cucumber and VERY limited quantity. I asked for extra sambal, you just don't get it. Potato costs 0.10, I paid 10 euros for this mashed potato. Not recommended…
