I was exploring the neighborhood and saw this place. I always crave kumpir, and this one was a real hit. You can put together your kumpir very efficiently and get it pretty quickly. It's a cozy, colorful place, and the staff is very respectful. I'll definitely be back.

I've been a regular at Potae (King Kumpir) since 2004. It's still the tastiest kumpir I've ever had.

Came in with no expectations as I've never tried Kumpir before. The baked potato was delicious and I will definitely go back if I get the chance! I had the tuna with extra spicy sauce, which ended up being 11,99€ + 1€. If you just get the "plain" potato, you'd get plenty of food and bang for your buck. The portion was generous!

The food was delicious. I chose the kumpir chicken, which was absolutely delicious. The chicken was well-seasoned, the toppings were fresh, and the service was a solid 10. I accidentally ordered two chickens, and the employee asked if this was a mistake or if I wanted two. It was clearly a mistake, and I was immediately refunded the difference. The restaurant was clean, I was served quickly, the employees were hygienic, very friendly, and the food quality was excellent. Definitely worth returning.

Today during my visit to [POTAE] I was treated in a particularly rude manner. An employee openly laughed at me, without any reason or respect. I found this behavior not only offensive, but also completely unprofessional. As a customer I expect to be taken seriously, not ridiculed. This experience has disappointed me deeply and I will not be returning here. I hope this company takes steps to better train their staff in customer service.

Fast and healthy vegetarian food with vegan options. The price is not bad considering the food prices in Amsterdam and the portions are medium. If you prefer a bigger portion, the bowl is better because you can put more. The staff is friendly and they speak English.

Food is always delicious here, fast service + friendly staff

This review is for the staff, not for the food. The branch closes at 9pm Amsterdam time, I was there at 8:58 inside the shop, the lady said I can't order the food(in a rude way). She can't speak english so she said to the fellow guy to tell us that we are closed. I was there with my family and travelled quite a lot to reach there with a baby. It was quite windy outside and specifically it was Eid day(Suikerfeest) so I expect some favor or at least polite way of saying it. The place was full of people already inside eating. It wouldn't cost them much of time or resources. I would expect a bit of curtsey from the staff. It may have used just few minutes of them. I also asked if I can get a take away but she was still reluctant and rude. I think she might be the shift manager. I do understand that time ended but being with a kid in cold travelling specifically for that was heart broken. Based on my experience with the staff, will never visit them again.

We had a fantastic meal here!! We had the spicy kumpir (baked potato) and the homemade apple/ginger tea :) You can put all the toppings you want on it and they also advise what is tasty! In short: a really nice place to have a bite to eat with super friendly people 🥰

Good food quality, big portions, king Lumpur is 9 EURO, but IT s really big.

I always take a falafel bowl, you can put it together yourself and fill it to the brim, then they add delicious crispy falafel on top. They have very tasty homemade dressings. Service is top notch, everything is spotlessly clean and prices are very reasonable!
