A really good breakfast place. The food and the coffee are fantastic but what I enjoyed the most was the kind staff. It’s raining outside but they sure brighten your day.

It was packed with people enjoying coffee. We Dutch people were turned away in the afternoon by the barman because they were "closed," even though they were actually open until 9 PM. Discrimination in our own country. Never again.

We were refused entry because we were Dutch. It was supposedly closed at 4:30.

Blond lady serving is very rude, may be so frustrated with her job that almost kick customers out. Quality of the food is also doubtful.

The location is excellent if you're walking from the Central Station. This is a great place to people watch. We enjoyed the special croissant with a fried egg and bacon and the healthy baguette with salad. The coffee and americano were both good.

We had a wonderful breakfast! The food was fresh and delicious. We especially appreciate the attentive and friendly service – we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Surprisingly good breakfast. I ordered the 'English breakfast', but instead of beans, I asked for sliced tomatoes. It was just right. I've gone twice this week. 7 months later: I've been thinking about this place since October. This is officially my favorite breakfast in Amsterdam. I'm staying in the Leidseplein, but I'll be taking the tram here for breakfast.

I ordered a coffee with oat milk, I received a coffee with regular milk, I asked them to change it, they didn't apologize to me, breakfast was 40 minutes late, it didn't come until after I asked about my breakfast, it was served to me without any apology as well

I've been eating here since 2012, walked in today an ordered the usual broodje gezond. What I received was half the size and almost double the price than last time. The man then had the nerve to tell me that the 45ct bread roll I was served was a "baugette". Terrible shame, this used to be a great spot!

We were out and about in Amsterdam for a while today and were a bit hungry around 3 p.m. When we passed this snack bar here. The burgers and fries were really tasty and the prices were very fair. This is by no means a given for Amsterdam, as we discovered this morning at breakfast. In addition, the quality of the food at breakfast was not particularly good.

Both my wife and I had the English breakfast. The food itself was ok, the eggs were good, the sausage was bland and the bacon was fine. The toast wasn’t toasted, just bread out of the package, cut and put into the plate. We tried other breakfast in the same area and found it better, I don’t recommend.

I came here when it was very slow. I ordered orange juice, croissant with egg and bacon, and dutch mini pancakes. All of which were excellent.

A very underwhelming experience. The American pancakes were flat and lacked flavor, and the portions were quite small. Additionally, there was no tap water available and no restroom on-site. The service was impolite, which further detracted from the experience. This place has a lot to improve, and I wouldn’t recommend visiting.

Best early morning breakfast shop near the central train station, the dishes are prepared perfectly and the coffee is something to be proud of… service is friendly

It’s actually insane that this restaurant has good reviews. The food we got was genuinely DISGUSTING. We ordered sandwiches which took forever to come out and what we got was a plain, untoasted hamburger bun with slices of deli ham and an uncooked egg with no salt, pepper, or any kind of sauce. We couldn’t eat the food because we felt so nauseated! It’s ridiculous that we paid money for this trash.

Worst breakfast, we got sandwiches with fried egg, with ham, another with cheese, and mini Danish pancakes. The buns were cold, ham ordinary deli ham, eggs literally gross, and sad pancakes. Coffee was worse than airline coffee. It looks like this place gets customers that spill-over from the good restaurants. We ate a couple of pieces and left.

Location was great. Food was average however the most disappointing part was that we had to wait almost 10-15 mins to get food cleared from our table from the previous customers. We had to remind them thrice to get this cleared.

I really LOVE their Poffertjes, I believe it’s really an authentic one. I ordered two dishes for myself! The shop is small with limited seats, and tables are so close to each other. I was listening a couple argued for attitudes during my mealtime, and the guy eventually dumped the girl.

When I came in, two employees greeted me with a funny joke. There was no racism at all and the hospitality was very friendly. I ordered orange juice for breakfast, but they said they didn't have orange juice, so I ordered apple juice! It was plentiful and delicious, but perhaps because of the price, it wasn't that cheap. The location is really great near Jungang Station, so if you want to have breakfast near Jungang Station, you might want to stop by!

A really nice pub where you'll mainly find the locals. The beer selection is good, small dishes are also available, the ambience is typical of the area and the staff are very friendly.

This place is lovely for a breakfast omelette, lovely atmosphere (nice music) and art on walls, lovely customer service. People were queuing along the road for Omelegg which is right next to this place and I can’t understand why people queued in the rain for there, when there’s this place right by! If your only concern with a place is whether it’s Instagramable or not then suppose this isn’t the place for you but otherwise I recommend!

This place has very expensive prices for what it is. Well, maybe not if you consider this a tourist trap. The coffee was ok, but expensive. Tosti was not so expensive, but quality was low. After asking for tap water, I have been informed they dont offer that...of course, they want you to pay for a plastic bottle just to trash it 5 minutes later. My coffee was delivered to the wrong table by the same lady who took my order. The seats are unconfortable and the place has a dirty aspect... there are better places to spend your money at.

I recently visited Prins Heerlijk for brunch, attracted by its great location near Amsterdam Centraal and the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to our expectations. Our food took almost 40 minutes to arrive, which felt a bit long. My friend ordered a fresh orange juice, but we were told it was unavailable and were offered apple juice instead. To our surprise, it wasn’t freshly made but came from a bottle. The coffee arrived quickly, but by the time the food came, I didn’t have anything left to drink. We ordered two English breakfasts, but the flavors were lacking; the dish felt quite plain and simple, especially for the price. While the location is convenient and the service was polite, the experience could definitely be improved with more attention to flavor and ensuring that drinks are as fresh as advertised. Hopefully, these small changes can make a big difference for future guests.

This was a hidden gem. Fast friendly service and amazing coffee. Food was fast, fresh and very tasty.

Coffee consists of 99.9% water, the dishes have NOTHING in the slightest to do with what is advertised, and everything is not cheap either. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED. There are completely different options in the area.

The food is very nice. Especially the tiny Dutch pancakes. Sadly the mint tea as well as the espresso were very bland and they don’t have real maple syrup. This restaurant is also split in two parts, the left one is for a quick breakfast and does not have a toilet, the right one is a bit more fancy and does.

Great spot for a quick and easy breakfast! We stopped here to grab a quick bite before our train ride. Ordered the sandwiches with filet Americain and old Amsterdam cheese. Both were freshly made, tasty and a decent portion. The coffee tasted good as well. Prices are affordable too, making this a good spot for an easy and cheap breakfast. 🥞

The workers refused to dine in for pancakes inside the restaurant then one the workers let us dine outside. They made us wait outside for about 15 min. then the waitress outside told us they do not serve pancake outside only inside the restaurant. When we went inside to see if they can serve us only to be surprised that the restaurant do not serve at the moment.They could told us from the beginning without wasting time.

Before going, I checked the other comments and was guided by the majority of them that were good, they all said that they had very good service and were very friendly but it seems that other waiters touched me. The service was fast, the food was not so good but decent to have something to eat before leaving for the train, because it is in front of the station. Waiters with very little intention to serve and zero kindness.

The price is cheap and the location is good, but the taste is so-so. It's not a place worth going to because it's not friendly, but it's only for those who really want to eat breakfast.. English breakfast costs 13.5 euros and two cups of coffee costs about 22 euros.

We paid 7 (seven) euros for a Macchiato with an extra shot of espresso (since the original serving was embarrassingly pale). And you don’t even get to see the basilica from here… just trash bags.

I came here looking for chewy mini pancakes. It's quite chewy, and the sugar content is good for energy recovery! A casual cafe located a short walk from Amsterdam Station. Although it is compact, the windows are wide and open. I went here to take a break from sightseeing and to try their famous chewy mini pancakes. The temperature was high and I wasn't in the mood for coffee, so I had a coke. We have a variety of soft drinks such as cola and Fanta. The restroom is rented from a shop in the building next door, so be sure to say a few words to the staff before you go.

This is a racist shop, and the boss will refuse to admit it (you can find it in all the comments) I'm not angry at being discriminated against. Please don't waste everyone's precious time by standing at the door of your store and waiting but never being invited in. I suggest the boss to post all the photos of people with unwelcome skin colors directly at the door in the future. Everyone will be happier. , simpler, and I look forward to seeing your progress in the future!

This is a racially discriminatory restaurant. If you are of a different skin color, please do not come. There are pictures to prove that I was cut in line directly. There was no seat when I came. I was standing at the door. The orange in one of the photos The girl with brown hair tied into a ponytail turned a blind eye to me many times. I asked him about the seats for two of us, and she asked me to wait for him for a second. It was legendary. You should definitely visit it. Their omelette sandwiches and pancakes were delicious. The place is small but spacious. The employees are very attentive.

The staff didn’t seem too welcoming for patrons of my color skin. We weren’t greeted at all upon entering and standing right at the counter while later other fair-skinned patrons were greeted prior to getting both feet in the door. Most notably, we were second to have our order taken by queue however that truth was ignored by the two women.

We only called in for a drink but it is set in a beautiful little square. Very welcoming, friendly staff and a great place to watch the world go by.

We came across this fast food restaurant by accident. We ordered one meat burger, the second one was Vege, the third meal was fish and chips. Overall, everything was very tasty, the only drawback was the fish breading, there was a bit too much of it. The rest is absolutely fine. Nice service. The price is also quite OK.

Food was a bit rubbish for the price. Staff were nice but you weren’t allowed to drink your own water in there. Strange. Eggs weren’t cooked through and the toast was barely toasting. More like warm bread. Orange juice was amazing! You also can’t split the bill between two people. Atmosphere was okay. Quite a small place, around 6 tables.
