While staying in Amsterdam, we had dinner at this place (5 of us) and we ate very well!

Food and service was great, came to Amsterdam for a 3 night weekend trip and came to this place twice. Everything was delicious but the mushrooms stood out for me! Definitely recommend this place

Great service, very warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as hoped/expected. The mixed starter, in particular, was truly awful, a pile of not-so-tasty frikandellen and some other unidentifiable snacks. The spare ribs were "okay" but certainly not particularly tasty.

My family I enjoyed our english breakfast and black tea at Q Global Kitchen - Amsterdam. The owner and his wife gave us a warm welcome and made sure we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for Halal breakfast options in Amsterdam.

My wife and I wanted a quiet dinner after a day of museums. What a welcome it was to discover GLOBAL KITCHEN so close to our lodging. The beer and the two different kabobs, one spicy and one with some walnut sauce really hit the spot. The friendly owner was welcoming. Would really recommend this for dinner.

Ate here with my girlfriend after arriving in Amsterdam. Both of us had amazing medium steak and I even had a nice burger after, just because I didn't eat all day before. The service was nice and we didn't wait long for our food. Overall it was a very nice experience and I would come again just for the steaks.

Very attentive service, very polite and customer oriented. The food is fresh and filling. By Amsterdam standards, it's not too expensive here: the value for money is great. Contrary to recent reviews, the food was great. Within 20 minutes we had our fish platter and 400g Angus steak on the table. Absolutely medium rare and plentiful. We're both really. good eaters and it just didn't work out. Very friendly service and more than. good for the price! It's a great place, the playlist is great, the food is so good, the price is so reasonable and the staff, my goodness...they are so lovely and so kind. I am so happy to find this place. We went to G Global Kitchen for dinner after seeing its 4.6 rating on Google, but sadly, our experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived, which was a bit surprising. We ordered chicken, lamb shish kebabs — but all of them were hard, clearly frozen, and just reheated. The food was tasteless, and it felt like everything had been microwaved with sauce added afterward. After eating a little, I even got a stomachache, so we left without finishing our meal. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Amsterdam . Definitely not worth the rating or the price.

We stopped by this place because it was the first restaurant near the station that was open until 5 pm and had a decent Google Maps rating. The atmosphere was nothing special, but the service was fine – it felt like a family-run business. We ordered steaks, and the meat was excellent: perfectly cooked to the requested doneness and with an amazing aroma. The fries were well prepared too. The salad on the plate felt unnecessary though, didn’t really go with the steak. Overall, it’s a place you could check out, but it’s not a must-visit.

I ate there today, Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Very friendly people. They also took their time between courses. So I didn't feel rushed. The food was very tasty and of good quality. Highly recommended.

Great food! I was enjoying a day of shopping in Amsterdam with some friends. We ended up at a restaurant in a prime location on Nieuwendijk in Amsterdam, right in the city center. The restaurant's decor is super cute. Upon arrival, you see a Marilyn Monroe doll, and the interior has a nice theme and cozy atmosphere. There are three TVs with a music channel (I don't remember which channel exactly) playing music for all ages, all ages, all tourists, and most of all, popular music. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they even stop by for a chat. The food was excellent; everything was well-prepared and fresh. You could eat anything there, and most dishes are served with salad and fries. My boyfriend has a gluten allergy, and they had a very neat menu, which is almost never seen before. They included a list of all the dishes and what each dish contained in terms of gluten, fish, meat, etc., so my boyfriend could see exactly what he could and couldn't order. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. What more could you ask for? Very satisfied customers here, and I speak for my seven friends too. I definitely recommend it, and we'll definitely be back. This will be our regular place to eat in town! Perfectly organized. We didn't get a chance to eat. We ordered a three-course meal through Social Deal. The waitress got grumpy because we'd reserved through SD. They only accept Burger Menus. We couldn't have known that and had already paid, of course. The atmosphere was cool. We didn't feel welcome. There was only one table there at the time. I was a bit surprised, because the reviews weren't bad. It's completely different from what it was rated. It doesn't even deserve one star, but I couldn't have left the review otherwise.

I had high hopes for this restaurant after seeing the online reviews. We ordered two drinks, orange and pineapple and when they brought drinks over they were orange and mango. They didn't even mention the drinks were different. My daughter said oh well I like mango so dont say anything. Then 20 minutes later the woman comes over to say the drink was mango cause she ran out of pineapple and was this ok! Well too late because the drink had already been drunk. Secondly my daughters burger was given to someone else by mistake and they were cutting into it and was about to eat it then the staff realised it was wrong and rushed over there to take the burger away and then gave it to us! I said no sorry I'm not having that. They couldn't understand why I wouldn't accept the burger even though someone else had cut into it! Obviously not very big on hygiene. And not a single apology or offer to make another one. They were angry with us for not eating it!! I will never return here.

It was a good steak to a good price! Recommend if you want a good dinner to a good price :) the steak is big, so keep that in mind when you order, you get alot for the money

I had a burger and fries here using a social deal. For €10, the burger was decent and actually quite tasty. The fries were a bit small. The prices on the drink menu no longer matched the bill. It was only 50 cents less on a drink, so I didn't make a big deal about it because I really wanted to leave a tip. However, it's not customer-friendly to not have your card prices up-to-date. All in all, I would recommend it.

Very bad experience. Never had such bad kebabs. It was dry like anything! Looked and tasted like it wasn’t done properly. Looked and smelt old. The worst thing was they tried charging me for stuff I didn’t even have! Glad I noticed it! Very dodgy staffs. Avoid at all cost!

We went because it had a good review, but it was the complete opposite. When we were looking for it, we walked right past it and didn't see it. We saw a fake Marilyn Monroe in the window and thought, "How tacky." Well, it was there. The food was passable but incredibly expensive for the amount they serve. On top of that, we arrived and it took them a while to take our order. While we were waiting for them to do it, the waiter arrived, took our menus, and left. We had to tell him they'd take our order. Then, another eternity for them to weave the food, and they charged us about €85 for a plate of chicken, potatoes, and an Argentinian steak that didn't even weigh 200 grams. Plus, two "mini" bottles of water, two beers, and a starter of defrosted onion rings. It's not worth going; honestly, there are places in Amsterdam where the food is better. Ah! The red velvet seats that you could be glued to.

I led a group of 32 people to lunch here during our Amsterdam itinerary. We ordered eight fish and chips, eight lasagna, eight grilled chicken, and eight bitterballen, one for each of our four-person table. We were very satisfied. The original Heineken on draft was also delicious, and the friendly staff made the meal even more enjoyable. The price was reasonable, with €10 per person being sufficient.

Our first meal in Amsterdam - the Black Angus steak was absolutely fantastic. We requested medium rare and it was done to absolute perfection. Service was wonderful as well. We had an opportunity to meet the chef, beautiful simple man who creates beautiful food. We absolutely love the ambiance as you can see from the photos we’ve posted. I’m sorry I didn’t take a photo of the meal, it looks so good and tasted so good sometimes one forgets to take photos. We weren’t disappointed at all, and I’m sure you won’t be either.

I enjoyed their version of the English Breakfast. A good serving size of 2 fried eggs a banger a piece of bacon, beans and toast. The coffee was good as well, nice local couple live and run this business right next to Macdonalds so maybe just a little dearer than maccas but still a good price.

The food took one hour to arrive. There was literally only one waitress and the chef. The waitress was super nice though. The food overall is very average.

The food is ok at best, the portion size is very lacking for what you pay (€19 for a single slice of chicken breast with a handful of fries and lettuce, €6 for a glass of orange juice from a carton).
