Fantastisch eten in een gezellige ongedwongen sfeer. Chef Tommy en zijn brigade weten elke keer weer te verrassen. Absoluut ster-waardig.

Een hele warme ambiance met name door de gastvrouwen. Daarnaast is het een intiem restaurant waar je je al heel snel thuis voelt. En dan het eten….we vonden het subliem. Explosieve smaken maar wel herkenbaar. Mooie borden, goed geholpen bij wijnkeuze. Wat een fijne middag.

Fantastic restaurant on the Oudegracht. Friendly service, but the sommelier was a bit uncomfortable and we found it slightly below par in terms of commentary and explanation/advice. The dishes are really great, see the photos. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended!

Fuimos por el menú degustación de seis platos con maridaje de vinos y encontramos todos los platos deliciosos y los vinos combinaban muy bien con la comida. Definitivamente tan bueno como muchos restaurantes de estrellas Michelin y mucho menos costoso! We had such a special evening at Chef Tommy's chef's table! It was fantastic to see the team working like this. The dishes are very tasty and have some great taste surprises. But what really made our evening was the hospitality of the team. We will definitely come back!

Gevonden in de Michelingids, gaan volgen op Insta en nieuwsgierig geworden na het voorbij zien komen van allerlei heerlijks. Van het boeken van een tafel hebben we zeker geen spijt gehad. Restaurant 273 is een sfeervol restaurant, smaakvol ingericht. Wij kozen voor een hoge tafel met uitzicht op de keuken. Echt leuk om de keukenbrigade in actie te zien. We hebben goed gegeten, het 6 gangenmenu met bijpassende wijnen. Als aperitief een Deutz Brut. Licht en fris, een fijn begin. Smaakbommetjes van amuses. Vervolgens een mooi menu, van burrata naar vis naar wild, chocolade toe. De gerechten waren goed op smaak, met als absolute favoriet de coquilles. De wijnen mooi gepaard, goed in balans met de gerechten. De bediening jong, vriendelijk en alert. Misschien als enige verbeterpuntje het afstemmen van het uitserveren van de gerechten en het schenken van de wijn. Dit liep niet helemaal soepel. Al met al hebben we een heerlijke avond gehad, een aangename verrassing.

Found it in the Michelin Guide, started following it on Insta and became curious after seeing all kinds of delicious things. We have to book a table certainly had no regrets. Restaurant 273 is an attractive restaurant, tastefully decorated. We chose a high table with a view of the kitchen. Really nice to see the kitchen brigade in action. We had a good meal, the 6 course menu with matching wines. As an aperitif a Deutz Brut. Light and fresh, a nice start. Flavor bombs of appetizers. Then a nice menu, from burrata to fish to game and chocolate. The dishes were tasty, with the absolute favorite being the scallops. The wines are beautifully paired, well balanced with the dishes. The service is young, friendly and alert. Perhaps the only area for improvement is coordinating the serving of the dishes and the serving of the wine. This did not go completely smoothly. All in all we had a wonderful evening, a pleasant surprise.

A gem in Utrecht The restaurant opened after the pandemic and is owned and curated by its chef. We had the 6-course tasting menu which was an outstanding journey of beautifully crafted, savory dishes. The flavors were nicely balanced, made of healthy ingredients (except for the dessert of course) with a perfect blend of seasoning while maintaining the natural character of meats or plants. The wine pairing was beautiful, primarily based on rare European (Spain and Italy dominating) varietals. The staff made a great effort to explain why specific wines were selected for each dish. Amazing experience, highly recommend it.

I took the 6-course Chef's Menu with matching wine arrangement together with my friend! Delicious food and drinks, the only thing we had to complain about was that the pace was quite high. When I was still enjoying my wine from the previous course, the sommelier came back with the next wine. The dishes also followed each other very quickly. After we indicated that we wanted a slower pace, it seemed as if the staff did not really listen to this. For example, the wine came very quickly, but the food took a very long time. You can afford to spend a lot of money on a meal at 273, so you can expect that they will take the time for you and that you can enjoy a long meal. You don't want to get the feeling that you are being rushed out the door as quickly as possible.

Fantastic fine dining restaurant in the heart of the old town. Star worthy, surprising dishes and flavor explosions. Excellent wine arrangement and excellent relaxed service. Nice discovery and highly recommended.

Very good meal. Surprising dishes and delicious flavors. The only thing we thought was a shame was that one person did not eat fish and therefore had a different structure in the dishes. There were dishes that we both ate, but we got them in a different course, so one person already knew what the other was going to get. But we would definitely come back very often, because the food is great!

Cuisines ouvertes sur une salle colorée toute en longueur. Accueil chaleureux et service pro en toute simplicité et bienveillance. Belle carte de vins européens bien choisie. Les plats extrêmement maîtrisés, marient les saveurs avec la précision du goût juste. Nous avons choisi une trilogie entrée, plat, dessert à la carte où le poisson était roi, ainsi que les fruits de mer et les merveilleux légumes. Compter 100€ par personne pour un repas complet avec vin. Une superbe soirée, sur les quais d’Utrecht, toute en finesse et en douceur.

Had dinner here with my friend a while ago. Together we love a good meal, and that's how we ended up here. But we were very disappointed. The flavors were very unbalanced. Not refined at all, I only really enjoyed the langoustines. It was a shame, I think the kitchen can do a lot more if they put less pressure on themselves... It was not the presentation and the service! That was perfect

I ate here a while ago, but unfortunately I won't do it again. I thought the food was very salty, and the dessert was also salty, which I think could have been matched a little better. The dishes were always delivered very quickly, fortunately they eventually calmed down a bit when I said something about it. I'm out for the evening, and not at the MacDrive to quickly eat something. The hostess communicated quite vaguely around it when I just asked yes or no questions, and I don't really understand why a restaurant like this doesn't accept American Express? I've never experienced that before. Anyway, in my experience there are restaurants in the area that offer better service and food for the same price, so unfortunately you won't see me again.

Incredibly delicious food! Had 5 courses and all dishes were superb. The atmosphere is good. Service was friendly, but seemed a bit rushed. They took little time for us. It was also sometimes difficult to contact the service. All in all we really enjoyed it!

Wij namen een Chef's menu van 5 gangen met vooraf de oesterproeverij en hebben heerlijk gegeten. Alle gerechten zijn hoog in smaak, Frans met een fusion tikje. Aanraders zijn de Kabeljauw met Lardo en het Lam met Artisjok en Ansjovis. Neem vooral het wijnarrangement dat past heel goed. De sommolier is niet alleen jong en enthousiast maar ook deskundig. We komen zeker een keer terug.

Great place for a celebration dinner or if you want spoil yourself :) the restaurant was very accommodating as one of us had a gluten and lactose allergy , so some dishes were made with substitutes- but that didn’t affect the bold flavors, they even went out of their way to make a separate dessert to cater for the dietary restriction ! The place is an absolute delight , and the Deutz champagne just goes with almost every dish (lighter dishes yes, and they have a good selection of wines for the rest of courses).

How do you be honest without completely burning someone down? Maybe expectations were too high? However, with these enormous prices you can also expect something in return!!! The appetizers did not make me curious about the rest, the staff did not really give us the feeling that they were enjoying themselves...... and what was the purpose of the "iceberg lettuce" under the cod in the beurre blanc is beyond me. complete riddle. Voor ons weekendje Utrecht op zoek gegaan naar een goed restaurant, en dit werd 273. Na een wandeling door druilerig Utrecht, werden we warm ontvangen. Het voorgestelde menu kon ons zeker bekoren, de aangepast wijn was perfect uitgekozen. Wij hebben van onze avond genoten. Hier mogen ze ons terug verwachten als we nog eens naar Utrecht komen.

We have visited quite a few restaurants in the past year(s) (with and without Michelin stars) and we can honestly say that we have never had such a good meal as at 273. After eating here in October, we returned in February and I must say, we were not disappointed, on the contrary. The vegetarian ceviche is a real gem to start with. We were initially disappointed when we were told that he was vegetarian, but once we started eating, we really wanted to lick our plate, but it doesn't look very nice. The subsequent dishes did not disappoint either, we enjoyed the tuna, followed by white fish with zucchini and fish eggs. The potato with egg yolk was also very tasty. The pigeon was a bit on the dry side the second time, but still tasty. The final pearl, we are not dessert eaters, was a nice surprise. Chef Tommy knows very well what he is doing in the kitchen and knows how to surprise with every course. When leaving the restaurant I was given a bottle of AA, the car was just half an hour's walk away and when we entered I (a diabetic) had a huge hypo. To prevent that, they had arranged a bottle of AA themselves, without asking. Absolute top service. Are there no comments at all? Yes, the wait staff should not discuss and fight out their differences in front of guests. Apart from that, 273 is highly recommended and we will definitely return again.

We came to celebrate my birthday with our family. We love good food, like to cook ourselves, but we no longer eat out often because the price versus quality versus quantity is often disappointing. We're done with fine dining. Until yesterday, the surprise menu at 273. How is it possible that you stop talking because of a taste that is so intense, rich and changeable? How do you get the combinations so perfect? Appetizers, vegetarian patty, tuna, scallops, whiskey pearl, meat palette and chocolate dessert. All fantastic dishes, each with its own palette of subtle underlying flavors that harmonize and then clash with each other. Perfectly combined with exciting wines and non-alcoholic drinks. And then the ambiance. The friendliness without fuss, the alternative tableware with pleasant quantities and the extremely professional cooperation and good atmosphere. We will not forget this. 273 is an experience.

Disappointing. Excellent food, but not a harmonious menu and the chef makes it very easy for himself with many dishes. In addition, it took a long time for dinner to start. Only after 1 hour was the 1st course served and after 2 hours the 2nd course. Things went smoother after that. This made it a long 5 hour sit. We went for the 6-course menu. This started with 3 appetizers, with fish, crab and a marinated tomato. These tasted great. The 1st course was a 'ceviche' made of avocado, pumpkin, roasted corn and cactus fruit and finished with a tiger's milk sauce. The sauce was really the star of the dish. The rest was fine, but a ceviche with real fish would have been a lot better. Course 2 was tuna with miso and soy, like eating a piece of sashimi. It came with a nori cracker with some tuna tartare. But otherwise nothing special. Course 3 was a piece of skrei with beurre blanc and caviar. The skrei was well fried and very tasty. The beurre blanc tasted good, the salmon roe and caviar were warm in the sauce, making the roe difficult to bite through. In addition, it looked more like herring roe than caviar and the dish lacked a crisp. Course 4 the potato foam with winter truffle and egg yolk. I was really looking forward to this, but the execution was really disappointing. The egg yolk was too overpowering. The truffle had little flavor. The potato cracklings were so mini that they no longer had their bite by the time you ate them. What a waste. Gang 5 was the Anjou pigeon. This was immediately the best course of the evening. The pigeon was well prepared, the leg and liver were surprisingly good. If this had been the quality of the entire evening, it would have received a better rating. Dessert was a chocolate dome with mousse and peanut, a glorified snickers. Was delicious. But not spectacular. The wines were very tasty and went well with the dishes. But other than that I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. In terms of price-quality ratio, there are plenty of better things to mention.

Not a lot to say extra than reviews have said. It just comes down to the price quality and how that will reflect the enjoyment. When going to an establishment where a simple pho brings you a better smile consuming it, maybe high end establishment owners need to start rethinking their pricing for the enjoyment their food brings. The staff was lovely and courteous, never just give it one chance is maybe something I can advise people that had my experience as well, come back later down their journey of creating food.

Guess I am the only Asian on that evening 😉 but the dishes all have some Japanese ingredients in it which is very tasty. The menu and wine pairing are great. Thanks to the chef to bring Amsterdam's atmosphere to Utrecht, so we don't need to travel far to enjoy the nice dinner. Right away we made the next reservation, till then!

22122023: dankzij een tip van een collega, online gereserveerd bij 273. Snel bevestigd en een week voor het bezoek werd telefonisch gecheckt of wij nog bijzondere wensen hadden. Het bezoek zelf: heel vriendelijk ontvangen en naar onze tafel begeleid. Als starter gekozen voor oesters en bubbels. Vervolgens echt genoten van het 6 gangen kerstmenu incl bijpassende wijnen. Bediening en de uitleg bij de wijnen top! Extra compliment aan de keukenbrigade die alle gangen tot een waar feestje hebben bereid.

Heerlijk eten, mooie gerechten, heerlijke wijnarrangementen maar behoorlijk aan de prijs. Ik zou zeggen wacht tot iemand je uitnodigt om daar te gaan eten.

De tweede keer ergens gaan eten na een succesvolle eerste keer, is spannend: is het net zo goed als de vorige keer of toch niet? Gelukkig hebben we gisteren net zo genoten als de eerste keer. Heerlijk eten, mooie wijnen en een mega vriendelijke bediening. Ze mogen weliswaar geen ster hebben (nog niet), maar het eten is absoluut beter dan in een paar zaken met ster ⭐️. Met een rechterarm die tijdelijk uit de running is, is eten soms een uitdaging. Gelukkig werd dit perfect opgelost door de keuken door mijn eten alvast in stukjes te snijden!

This restaurant exudes ambition with amiable staff, yet falls short of reaching a commendable culinary standard. The pricing seems disproportionate to the dining experience offered. The liberal use of citrus or wasabi often overshadows the nuanced flavors of the dishes. While aesthetically pleasing, the dishes, unfortunately, come off as overly simplistic, with some elements lacking cohesion or contributing real value. The reuse of ingredients across dishes limits the diversity of flavors. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this establishment and won't be planning a return visit.

Super lekker!! Als je echt goed uit eten wilt, dan is dit een echte aanrader als je er nog niet bent geweest. Wij zaten aan de chefs table, waarbij je letterlijk in de keuken mee kunt kijken. Super leuk om te zien hoe iedereen goed met elkaar samen werkt en de service was uitstekend! Allen heel erg bedankt voor deze leuke avond, en de foto’s liegen er niet om. Tommy, heel erg bedankt :)

Voor de derde keer gedineerd (gegeten doet geen recht) bij 273. Wat een feestje, ook nu weer. De smaakvariaties, altijd in samenhang, steeds weer het "wow'' effect, zeker in combinatie met de bijpassende wijnen. Persoonlijke service maakt het af!

Het eten is simpelweg fantastisch met heerlijke smaakcombinaties inclusief zeer goede bijpassende wijnen. Personeel zoals je al jaren niet meer ziet, echt zoals het zou moeten! Ze weten exact hoe ze de gast in de watten moeten leggen met veel kennis van zaken en goede manieren. Echt een aanrader!

Op za 4 juni 2022 bezocht met drie personen. Vijf-gangenmenu was uitstekend, helemaal niets op aan te merken. Punt van aandacht: de muziek. Onnodig aanwezig en soms overdreven luid. Voegt voor mij niets toe aan de “beleving”, sterker nog: voor mij de reden om niet meer terug te komen, ondanks het prima eten.

Prima gegeten, vegetarische opties waren lekker, met vegetarische ceviche als uitblinker.

Uitstekend restaurant. Het eten (5 gangen) smaakte goed en was qua hoeveelheid zeker genoeg, fijne wijn met genoeg kennis om te adviseren en een vriendelijke bediening. Aanrader!

I simply do not have the words in Dutch, apologies. Our experience here was beyond my expectations. We have enjoyed many dining experiences, in many very prestigious restaurants, and 273 stands out in so many ways. The dishes, the wine pairing, the environment. All I can honestly say is, please keep doing what you are doing. Please keep the passion, keep the fire and the creativity burning. We will be back. We will bring friends that we know enjoy these experiences as much as we do. Worth every cent.

Bijzondere combinaties met veel smaak!

Na een warm ontvangst word je begeleid naar je tafel. De tafel mooi gedekt en een heerlijke menukaart. Wij hebben het chefs menu genomen en dat was zeer verrassend! Echt heerlijk! Je kunt de keuken in kijken en ziet hoe de mooie gerechten de keuken uit gaan. Zeker een aanrader! De wijnen die worden geadviseerd slaan de spijker op z'n kop!

Gastvrijheid staat hier hoog in het vaandel! Het resultaat van het enthousiaste team is een avond met gerechten die qua smaak en presentatie een blijvende herinnering meegeven. Het bijpassende wijnarrangement laat het brede pallet aan smaken nog beter tot zijn recht komen. Kortom zeer de moeite waard om dit restaurant te bezoeken, het zal ongetwijfeld niet lang duren voor er een Michelinster gegeven zal zijn.

In januari waren we voor het eerst bij 273 geweest en dat was toen enorm goed bevallen. De 2e keer werd alles wat we ons herinnerden weer waargemaakt en de herkenning maakte dat we ons ook gelijk 'thuis voelden' en de mooie en intiem ingerichte pijpenla met achterin de open keuken. Het restaurant belt altijd een paar dagen van te voren om eventuele dieetwensen te bespreken. De 1e keer had ik aangegeven dat we onze 11 jarige dochter bij ons hadden die lang niet alles lust. Er werd buiten de kaart om een heerlijke witvis gemaakt MET FRIETJES! Toen we de 2e keer werden gebeld was die informatie nog steeds bekend. Chapeau! De avond zelf was ter gelegenheid van mijn man's 50e verjaardag. We kozen voor een 5 gangen menu met een wijnarrangement en onze dochter kreeg haar eigen gerecht. Naast het menu kwam er nog een amuse en na het hoofdgerecht een 'bal'. Die kan ik niet goed omschrijven, maar ik adviseer: ga proeven! Alle gerechten zijn individuele schilderijtjes. De een nog mooier dan de ander. De bijpassende wijnen zijn geweldig gekozen. We komen zeker weer terug en hebben al meerdere vrienden 273 aangeraden. Enige verbeterpunt: het was mijn man's 50e verjaardag en dat had ik vooraf aangegeven. Hij krijg bij het dessert een kaarsje in wat zilverfolie gepropt en 'gefeliciteerd' op het bord geschreven. Dat had net iets bijzonderder gekund denk ik..... Is toch een mijlpaal die we bij het restaurant komen vieren.

Wauw! Wat een parel aan de gracht. Recensies waren lovend en die kunnen ze in het echt waarmaken. Wat een prachtig deskundig enthousiast team staat hier paraat met werkelijk oogverblindende opgemaakte borden. Smaaksensaties ten top en bijzondere combinaties. Wat hebben wij geweldig genoten van het 8-gangen diner. Een dikke 10!

Weer super gegeten bij chef-kok Tommy den Hartog. Mooie creaties en combinaties zoals de Ceviche met tijgermelk, avocado, groene aardbei en koolrabi of de Tonijn met supplement van Osetra Kaviaar, en natuurlijk de knapperige Zwezerik met champignon en sinaasappel! Ook goede en vriendelijke bediening met passende wijnen bij de gerechten!

Het was alweer even geleden dat we hier aan de keukentafel zaten. Wederom ontzettend genoten van alle gerechtjes. Met mooi uitzicht op de keuken. Mooie opbouw vanaf de amuses en de zure maar toch romige ceviche. De heerlijke tonijn met veel umami. De comfortfood aardappel schuim puree met ei dooier en truffel. De waanzinnige saus bij de entrecote. En rijk chocolade, hazelnoot caramel desert met miso. Echt heerlijk. Deed mij denken aan gerechten bij Pikaar* in Hilvarenbeek en Tribeca** in Heeze. Maar dan met het gemak van lekker op de fiets hier in Utrecht. Heel erg bedankt!

Für unser Abendessen im 273 wurde uns ein Tisch direkt vis a vis vom „Pass“ der Küche zugewiesen, also der Ort wo die Teller final zubereitet werden. Es war enorm interessant: man sieht mit welcher Präzision und Konzentration die Speisen zubereitet werden. Jeder Gang war ausgezeichnet, und die Weinbegleitung hat uns auch überzeugt.

Genoten van het eten, de informele sfeer en het superleuke personeel. De toelichting op de wijnen vind ik normaalgesproken een wat saai verplicht praatje, maar was hier écht leuk om naar te luisteren. Dikke plus!

Tweemaal in een korte tijd hier mogen eten aan de chefs table en tweemaal flink verwend met heerlijke gerechten! De vegetarische ceviche, tartaar en witvis hebben mij echt verrast. De toetjes zijn naar mijn mening vaak bij restaurants minder, maar bij 273 kan ik dat niet zeggen. Dit niveau van gastronomie is 5 sterren. De sfeer is gezellig en het personeel is vriendelijk. Ik hoop hier snel weer te komen!
