We were there for the first time. The wait for the appetizers took 1 hour and 15 minutes. After complaining, the dishes were brought to the table.

We had a wonderful meal at De Beeren in Amsterdam Noord. The food was high quality, tastefully prepared, and plentiful. Everything was served promptly and efficiently, which contributed to a pleasant experience. We also received a warm welcome from Mylena. She was an excellent hostess: friendly, attentive, and professional. Her hospitality immediately made us feel welcome and made our visit even more enjoyable. In short, a very successful evening with good food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Marek made our family dinner extra special. Mother's 88th birthday was fantastic. Thank you, Marek! This was our dinner in Noord. The food was delicious. I've read other stories, but here in Noord, it was superb. The tournedos was buttery tender, the spareribs were delicious, the steak strips with vegetables were superb, the salmon was excellent, and the satay was always good.

Satay doesn't look that appetizing. Satay taste salty. Satay sauce still salty. Half-baked prawn crackers. Staff is customer friendly.

A beautiful location next to Pathé. We received a very warm welcome from the cheerful and enthusiastic staff. Livia was our hostess and was very friendly and smiling. She checked in regularly to see if everything was to our liking. It was a successful evening, and we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience here. The coffee was delicious and it arrived almost immediately, but I we to wait almost an hour for the food after ordering it on a Monday evening. When the portion turned out to be too large and I needed to take it home (also the movie was approaching, so we didn’t have time to finish it and enjoy), the waitress suggested I put the ribs in a paper bag. Do not recommend if you want have fast dinner before movies.

Upon entering, we unfortunately got the impression that families with children weren't really welcome. We politely asked if we could have a table near the playground, but instead of a simple answer, we were asked if we wanted a three-course meal. This felt unnecessary and not very hospitable. Furthermore, the cola glass was badly cracked. We reported this, but instead of a new cola in a regular glass with ice, we received a smaller glass without the cola and ice. This is a shame and could have been handled more customer-friendly. The location and the concept are nice, but there is definitely room for improvement in hospitality and service at this location.

We ate here last week. I found the presentation subpar; the pork belly was very dry and poorly presented. They're fans of chives. The prawns weren't warm and were on the dry side. The vegetables in the main course were cold and raw, the cooking time wasn't right, and chives were everywhere on the plate. One of the desserts was partially burnt.

Beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately, at lunchtime, there were only three young staff members serving. Everything took too long. The soup was served lukewarm. Lunch was otherwise good. Too bad, that's probably not the owner's intention.

Kruidvat promotion Unfortunately, the starter went wrong; the kitchen had incorrectly ordered it, so one of the four of us had to wait a bit longer for it. The main course came with cold truffle fries, so we had to return them and get new ones. We waited a long time for the second course, so we had to ask if it was coming... and then it arrived quite quickly. The chocolate milk also tasted mediocre. My husband asked if it had been shaken, and according to the waitress, it had. It was very light and not very flavorful.

The four of us had made a reservation for 5:30 PM, as we had to be at the Concertgebouw at 8:00 PM. We had two hours to eat the three-course menu from the Kruitvat. It was quite chilly in the restaurant, and it wasn't the first time we had one. We also had to wait so long that we didn't even have time for dessert. One of us wasn't going to the concert, so he was given the desserts to take with him. It was a good arrangement, but when we got home, it turned out it was only for two people. All in all, it's a shame it turned out this way. The food was good, but the vegetarian satay was a bit disappointing.

I had a mediocre meal this time at this De Beren restaurant; there are better locations, including Apeldoorn and Veenendaal. The food isn't really worth the money here in Noord. Luckily, I had a Kruitvat voucher, for €15 per person, but it's certainly not worth €30 per person. We had to wait quite a while for the menu to be taken. The staff was friendly and helpful, but when I asked for a slice of lemon, they gave it to me with a glove on—so sloppy! It should be on a saucer! Cutlery wasn't replaced after the first course. There was no background music. And it was very cold in the restaurant. The quality really varies from time to time at this restaurant, which I find a real shame!

The pub is okay, with food that's not great but rarely bad, and there's not much to fault with the beer and soft drinks. The service is a bit chaotic at times, not least because of the owner, who often comes to take our orders just as we've placed them with one of his staff... And that owner, that's definitely a problem, because the generally great pub quiz there is coming to an end soon due to something that most resembles a personal vendetta against the company that organizes it. It's a real shame; it's almost inevitable that this will cost them customers.

Everyone works with a smile, and you receive prompt and warm service. The food is of excellent quality – fresh, varied, and rich in flavor. The dishes are beautifully presented and served surprisingly quickly. The sea bass was truly excellent, and the burgers for the boys were a tasty challenge that they talked about for a long time. Today we wanted to celebrate our parents' 60th wedding anniversary, but unfortunately, things didn't turn out that way. The owner took our order, but he probably never does that because of the three three-course menus, only one was written down (we found out later). One person received a starter after half an hour, the other two also received their starters, and then we waited an hour and a half for our main courses. In short, the evening was ruined.

The food was delicious and the service was great. We had a great waiter, Marek :-) which made the evening even better than it already was!

We've eaten at De Beren in Amsterdam Noord several times, with mixed experiences. The staff is generally friendly, but that can vary. Unfortunately, we had long waits and the meals weren't hot, such as cold fries, uncooked pork tenderloin, and non-vegetarian soup without meatballs. Overall, the meals are tasty and reasonably priced. It's a shame that there are sometimes significant quality differences that affect a return visit.

We had a 3-course menu which was very tasty. It just took a long time for the next course to arrive. The ginger tea was tasteless, which was a shame.

During my break, I decided to order an omelet (uitsmijter). I specifically asked for it to be undercooked. To my surprise, I had to wait 23 minutes, even though the restaurant was practically empty. When the dish was finally served, it turned out to be well-done. I confronted the employee and asked if my request had been passed on. She looked at me and simply said "yes," without any further explanation or apology. There was also no check-up to see if everything was to my liking. By then, I had already waited a long time, hadn't eaten anything, and my break was almost over. All in all, I found this a disappointing and amateurish experience. It's a shame, because a little attention and customer service could have prevented this.

We had a delicious meal and were very pleased with the service from waiter Marek. The welcome wasn't very warm, but the rest of the service made up for it. The tomato soup (starter) was delicious! Definitely recommended and worth repeating.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed. Then, a young man helped us. We asked for the menu and something to drink. Someone ordered a Coke, then the young man walked away, and we were given the menus. Never seen a Coke before. The beer, by the way, was good. The Bear (blond) beer tasted like an IPA. And drinking it in broken glasses? We ordered three three-course meals and once just the chicken burger. Then we received a completely different burger! Even though that was the easiest part of the order. My compliments to the kitchen, though. Everything was very tasty and flavorful! Only the fries were cold. It said the restaurant was open until 10:00 PM, but at 9:00 PM, we were asked for the last rounds and if we wanted to pay so the cash register could be counted. We got the impression we were being chased out of the restaurant. Unfortunately, a lesser experience.

It wasn't busy, but the wait was still long. My friend doesn't eat pork, so I specifically asked for it to be left out. Unfortunately, this wasn't done, so we had to wait for a new portion. When we brought the bill, the waiter didn't mention it, even though the mistake was his. A young guy working there politely apologized and clearly found it really annoying (he also explained why the drinks were late). He made up for it because he's really customer-friendly and service-oriented. His older colleague wasn't exactly the same, and he didn't come across as friendly. De Beren in Tilburg has much better service. The food was delicious, and the melon smoothie...it's truly delicious.

The food was lukewarm and the wait was long, even though it wasn't busy. So what will it be like when it is?

Friendly staff. There were few guests, but we still had to wait a long time for our drinks, and they even forgot us once. The price/quality ratio is excellent. We had a very good lunch (lunch trio). I would definitely recommend going here. The interior also looks nice and cozy.

I booked a table at the bears through social deals. Started with goat cheese croquettes on a mini white roll on a bed of arugula. And a delicious tomato soup. The snack was gyoza (Japanese dumplings). For the main course, a beef bear burger and chicken satay. And the icing on the cake: an apple crumble with whipped cream.
