Very friendly service, they came regularly to ask if everything was alright, the food was of good quality, tender meat, plenty of side dishes and portions are fine. Cozy place to eat, nice atmosphere.

We went for dinner very early, so the restaurant was practically empty when we arrived. Because of this, the waiter had plenty of time for us. The waiters and waitresses were very efficient and very friendly. A restaurant to return to.

We had high tea. The only downside is that the teapot is heavy (you burn your fingers), you get all the food at once so that everything served hot or warm cools down, and the chocolate desserts are served cold but melt quite quickly. So if you ask me if I would do this again, I say no. You're better off just having a sandwich for lunch there; that is more flavorful.

This branch takes celiac disease into account very well, which is great. Something went wrong with an order and we received multiple apologies from the staff. Excellent!

We ate at your place again last night with my son, using an AH voucher. It was super tasty, so we had a wonderful meal. The food also arrived reasonably quickly. The only downside was that they forgot to let us know we were there, so we had to wait quite a while before they came to take our drink order (we aren't used to this, as they are normally very quick), but otherwise, it was definitely worth repeating🙂

Toilets and handrails were sticky, the toilet seat was broken, and the cappuccino tasted a bit like dish soap. We waited more than an hour for our main course. The staff was friendly.

We were received very warmly this evening and had a choice of which table to sit at. The staff was quick and friendly throughout the entire visit. The spareribs were exquisite, as was the red Italian Primitivo. There were also many tasty dishes for our children to choose from, and they really enjoyed the puzzle/coloring placemat. We will definitely be back!

If you reserve a spot upstairs, you'll be seated near a play area. That's great fun for the kids. You can also sit downstairs yourself while the kids play upstairs, if that makes you feel comfortable. The atmosphere downstairs is a bit nicer, though. A bit quieter, although it is a busy Bear restaurant. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. The food is just as you would expect from a Bear restaurant: fine. They also take food allergies into account very well. The staff here are very sweet and helpful. We love coming here. A minor downside: on a busy day, there is just slightly too little parking space.

Really great service, almost like something from the old days that you don't experience often anymore. According to my fellow diners, the meat dishes were delicious. I had the vegetarian satay, which tasted good too, but I did miss some greens/lettuce. Otherwise, we had a very nice, cozy evening. Worth repeating.

It is a great restaurant for enjoying a nice meal with young children. The children can play, and they politely ask who should be served their food with every course. The children are the reason there are 4 instead of 5 stars for atmosphere. It is great to have a place like this with a play area for children, but that does cost a star for atmosphere. We were welcomed nicely and shown to our table. It was already set for our high tea. We had one person who was lactose intolerant, and they listened to our request well; she received a platter with everything she was allowed to eat. The food was super tasty and looked beautifully presented. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for dining.

We had a High Tea for 4 people. Everything was already set up. Hot water for the tea was available regularly. No tea bags, but you could serve yourself. The savory items—a small soup and a small roll—were delicious. Actually, there was a bit too little. The sweet items were just a little too much; tasty, but I couldn't finish everything. Definitely worth repeating.

At 5:30, at 5:50, we were asked what we wanted to drink. At 6:15, a drink was brought. At 6:30, we asked what we wanted to eat. The food arrived at 7:50. Twice the regular fries, which should have been one pair of fries and one pair of French fries. And at 7:45, they came to ask for dessert. While other people arrived later than us, they were already completely finished. It was scandalous to eat from 5:30 to 8:30.

The service is friendly, efficient, and professional. Every employee made a friendly smile and eye contact, as well as engaging in general small talk; we could even talk about football. We got the feeling of a nice, down-to-earth, and pleasant atmosphere. Efficient and professional = I have a gluten allergy. They were proactive and offered advice. I accepted the advice and am very satisfied with it. There were no unpleasant reactions regarding my allergy the next day either.

It changed owners 1.5 years ago and that is very noticeable! The food is delicious; the menu offers plenty of choice and the service is top-notch! My family with 2 young children and I are regulars here (nice play areas upstairs, but also a small corner outside downstairs). And we have already spent wonderful evenings here with friends as well.

On our return journey from Spain to Texel, there were many traffic delays on the road. Thanks to a new route, we passed De Beren around 12:00. We then turned the unpleasant into the pleasant... the waitress was incredibly helpful. We had a delicious 12 o'clock lunch, which we were able to share... We were there on a Saturday for lunch and sat upstairs by the play area. It was wonderfully quiet up there. The children could play and we enjoyed ourselves. The staff was friendly and also came by regularly to check if everything was to our liking. We weren't forgotten just because we were sitting upstairs. We will definitely come back again.

There was a group that was very noisy, which made it almost impossible to hold a conversation. And we were served fries that were overcooked (as if they had been thrown back into the oil to warm up again). We mentioned this to the waiter, and he agreed. He arranged a new portion of fries for us.

Prices are low (had the 3-course set menu for €30), food is fine. Therefore, the price-quality ratio is excellent. I found the fries tasteless and the satay sauce was very greasy. Gyozza was fine and the dame blanche very tasty with hot chocolate sauce.

We're used to De Beren in Zoetermeer. This is a nice alternative. Easy to reach from the highway, and it also has a lovely view of the polders. The food is delicious, nice and hot, and pleasantly served. With all the tables in the restaurant occupied, the wait for your food is a bit longer, but certainly not unpleasant. If your food isn't right, they'll take care of it right away. It's nice to have tried a different De Beren.

Tasteless food and terrible service! I've never been told so often, "Someone will be with you shortly," and then no one showed up. The meat was supposed to be medium rare, but it was overcooked. The side dish was wrong and arrived after the meal.

This was our second time at this restaurant. If you can't eat everything, they'll do their utmost to ensure you enjoy your meal and won't have any problems afterward. Be careful if you get sick from garlic and order salmon, as garlic oil is poured over the salmon. If you're feeling chilly, it's recommended to dress warmly. Other than that, everything was very good and we'll definitely be back.

Not a good experience at all. The service was fine and friendly, but the restaurant has no cozy atmosphere whatsoever. The food, in particular, was terrible; we were truly disappointed, especially for the price. The hamburger was completely unappealing after two bites, the pork tenderloin was too small, dry, burnt, and salty, and the children wouldn't even eat their frikandellen because they weren't tasty.

Bad experience, the food is subpar, as is the service. The moment you have an opinion or comment, they react unprofessionally and do nothing about it. I will never go here again and I don't recommend it to anyone unless you like mediocre food at an inflated price.

Just thought to try De Beren for a quick deserts break. Ordered three different options to try. Our order was delivered quite fast and was amazing. The food quality, the presentation and atmosphere was great. After enjoying Dame Blanche, I saw the chipped-off bowl and was bit disappointed, that chipped-off costed De Beren 1 star. Rest, the staff was quite friendly and quick but the bowl was too bad.

We had an excellent four-course meal in a charming setting. The staff were friendly. The only downside was the bowl of mixed vegetables I ordered separately. The intriguing-looking mini beets were hard and somewhat tasteless. However, the crème brûlée was delicious. And definitely worth repeating.
