Very tasty food and a nice evening! Service staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We were welcomed with open arms. Dishes looked good and tasted great. Only comment was a blonde lady who walked around very authoritarian and in our opinion did not come across as friendly, both towards guests and towards own staff, we found that a pity to see. Otherwise everything was excellent! We will definitely come back.

Special thanks also to host Laurens. His knowledge of wine and food is impressive, but above all, he is genuinely hospitable. Great atmosphere and always excellent at accommodating allergies. Garlic and onion are difficult for many restaurants, but they handle it very reliably. What an unexpected oasis, in an already quiet neighborhood. Like walking into an Italian movie on a summer day. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. And fast. The dishes were delicious. And the wines too. A special compliment to the young man who paid the bill. He very politely corrected an accidentally overly generous tip.

I am not the easiest eater, so there were some things I did not want in the surprise menu. They really listened to everything. I had a fantastic meal in a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff was fantastic. This was an experience that exceeded all my expectations 1000%.

It was a memorable pampering afternoon on the terrace at our top of Acht. And also a nice introduction to Laurens Verbakel (Karin's son) who will take over from her in the long term. He gave this afternoon extra shine with various top wines, wow. The dishes were neatly presented with full flavors, the dish with the goose liver even made an impression with a great Sauternes next to it. This was for me the highlight of the afternoon. The favorite of partner was the hamachi preparations with an Asian twist. Service led by Karin is always pleasant and runs smoothly, the young lady who is now taking her wine exam stood out in a positive way. We wish her success and have every confidence that it will be fine. Thank you.

Excellent. Only a plate is cleared away much too quickly after the last bite, while the table companions were still eating. This gave the wife a rushed feeling and unrest leading to the conclusion not to come again. We were invited.

I highly recommend both the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the interior of this restaurant! Everything we ate was delicious. It's a pity that we were there for such a short time, I would have liked to stay longer.

I happened to be here. I am not a perfectionist myself. This place is just perfect. Nice people, who work very hard to make their guests happy. Pampering! Top! And comparing with other restaurants with this profile: quality and prices were all in balance. Top experience! I will definitely come back.

Lovely building and stylish Interieur. Absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was good, but not excellent. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, but as it was a bit of a pattern with De Luytervelde: Sometimes less is more. My menu had great quality foods and beautiful decorations. My one concern, which is also why it’s “only” 4 stars: More often than not the dishes concluded of too many, not optimally aligned ingredients. This lead to a bit of overloading without a clear direction in taste. The hamachi was especially all over the place. Subsequently my highlights were the quail, which was straight forward, but strongly executed and the desert, where sensory overload is a feature, not a bug. Overall I can recommend the restaurant. Pricing is very fair for the offer.

It's been too long since we were here. This time for lunch, enjoyed a lovely 3 course lunch outside on the terrace with a main course and a mid-course as we wanted it. Enjoyed the food, friendly and attentive service and the beautiful weather.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years. As always very satisfied. Had lunch again today with my wife. There were 2 young ladies serving who were clearly working together with passion. We wanted to enjoy a four-course lunch, but without dessert. The menu was perfectly adapted to our wishes, the food was very tasty and the service was perfect.

Top, super dishes, wonderfully friendly service.

After a champagne aperitif, we opted for several starters, followed by a main course (lobster), everything with good taste and quality, larded with fine wines (a wine connoisseur at the table), the house sommelier appreciated the choice. Very friendly and correct service. Pleasant!!

We were here with a group to celebrate a farewell. We were allowed on the top floor because we were also going to give a speech. That was nice, because we got our own space. There were two waiters specifically responsible for our party. They took special wishes into account and were very attentive. The staff consisted largely of young employees. I was served five courses. The food was tasty, but the portions were a bit too small for me, as I am a good eater. I also ate some pasta at home. For my wife, however, it was just right. The cheese board for dessert is highly recommended, because you get more from it than from a standard dessert. It is a pleasant place to eat with a group, especially with the personal attention and the possibility of having your own space.

We like to have dinner here on Friday evenings every 2 to 3 weeks. We always receive a warm welcome from Karin and her son. The food is always good and the service friendly, the atmosphere in the shop is also very pleasant. We had a delicious meal again last Friday and were happy with our round table 😊. Lots of Asian themes at the menu served in a multi course taster menu with "bites" before the mains. Every dish they brought was excellent and the service likewise.

We had 7 courses dining. I'm lactose free. This restaurant did a careful checking per each course. Replaced even the sauces for me. Gratefull for the efforts made and also the taste was not compromosed any a bit. If I'm trying to be picky. I would say the Hokkaido pumpin was lost its sweetness. And kimchi soup was altered from the original taste into a bit bitter. Because I'm from the region so i knew very well on how these 2 ingradients should taste. Other customers may not sense. Last is the service. I can feel their warm hart and kindness. Thanks and I will definately revisit.

Gevestigd in een Brabantse langgevel boerderij met boomgaard en fraaie tuin. Mooi, warm interieur en nu met smaakvolle kerstversiering. We werden uitstekend ontvangen. Amuses volgden wat traag op het aperitief. Uitstekend lunchmenu, mooi gepresenteerd. Perfecte kaasgang. Speciale vermelding van de bijzonder vriendelijke bediening. Prijs/kwaliteit in orde. Goed bereikbaar en met ruime parking. Aanrader, zeker ook voor lunch.

Wat een geweldig restaurant, hier gaan wij zeker terug. Er waren om te beginnen diverse overheerlijke hapjes. Deze hapjes waar wij ons niet voor omdraaien. Daarna een 5 gangen diner, ook echt super heerlijk. De wijnen die erbij geserveerd werden paste ook perfect bij het gerecht. Prima vermaakt daar.

Fantastic food. We had the 7 course (autumn) menu. All dishes were well thought out and tasty. Dietary wishes to make the menu without milk was also very well executed without compromising on taste. We would love to come back here again 🤩

We had our anniversary at De Luytervelde and I couldn't imagine a better place to do so. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were high class. Also the personel was kind and friendly making our evening really enjoyable. I definitely recommend for any occasion and surely visit again.👍👌

October 2024 Just above Eindhoven a little gem hidden between houses. A tasteful place. We had lunch this day. A nice and affordable menu with some nice options, although the a la carte options were even more appealing. The usuall 'suspects' on the menu. Had a great lunch, not the cheapest but worth the money. Attending staff and even charging abilities on their parking lot. Restaurant was nearly full for lunch (Friday) so I suggest to make a reservation. This Friday was oyster Friday, Oysters for just € 1 a piece:-) good to start with a drink. I can recommend the Royal Salad (from a la carte menu).

Beautiful location for a special dinner. The weather was great so we could sit in the very large garden. We went for the 5 courses menu with matching wines. The food was amazing, there is a little room to improve on the wines but they were a match. When the weather is nice we will be back.

Even though this restaurant has been around for more than 3 decades, it was a great discovery for us. Beautifully situated in a residential area, we enjoyed a sunny day on the spacious terrace. The rest of the evening turned out to be generous too, from the top wines by the glass and the very hospitable service to the deliciously decadent dishes. End your evening here with the dame blanche. Truly the best in town.

In one word wow! We are warmly welcomed upon arrival. The host immediately senses that we can make a joke. The common thread of the evening is humor. The food is delicious and so are the accompanying wines. Here they dare to serve wines that are unique and go well with the food. The explanation of the food and wine is clear and well conveyed. We order a limoncello but unfortunately we don't like it, this is of course personal. Tastes differ. We report it and they respond well and honestly and we get another drink. I gave everything a 10 because we really had a great evening. Even a personal surprise for dessert. Will I come back here one more time? Without a doubt. Do I recommend them to friends and family? 100% recommended.

You drive up and see a spacious parking lot with a beautiful building and entrance. Upon arrival you will be welcomed and taken to your table. Inside you will see a beautiful and attractive interior. Beautiful styling. We hope to be able to enjoy the beautiful terrace this summer. The host (son of the owner) was great. Everything according to the labels, but he served the food in a spontaneous, relaxed and enthusiastic way. Nice explanation of the food. The wines were served by a Frenchman who loves Italian wines. He gave a detailed explanation of the matching wines. Top! It was great and the food was provided by our dear Rob van der Veeken and his brigade. We love the way he prepares the food, with care and passion. In short, we had a great evening. We would love to come back and recommend it to anyone who appreciates good food and drinks!

Eindelijk eens een gezellig restaurant met een goede keuken. Men deed gewoon en niet uit de hoogte of te interessant. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en het eten was heerlijk. We hadden wat bites vooraf en daarna beiden het 4 gangen menu. Alles was naar wens.

Naar aanleiding van review in het ED gaan eten bij De Luytervelde. Meer dan waargemaakt. Zowel de bediening als de gerechten waren fenomenaal. Mooiste gerecht was veruit de pompoen. Geheel plantaardig en hoog op smaak. Miste totaal geen vlees of vis. Wij komen zeker terug. Jammer dat we dit niet eerder hadden ontdekt.

Gezien al die positieve recensies toch maar eens gaan eten maar wat viel dit tegen. Het vijf gangen menu genomen en niet een gerecht was lekker. Het is allemaal wat smakeloos. Niets knalt eruit. De kok gebruikt als zijn favoriet ingrediënt koriander. Dit zat in 3 van de 5 gerechten. Bij het hoofdgerecht zat een sausje gebaseerd op 5 spices kruidenpoeder. Dit verpest echter het stukje vlees omdat het zo sterk is toegepast in de saus. Ik weet dat smaak subjectief is, en wat voor de ene persoon niet lekker is, kan voor een ander juist heerlijk zijn.

Heerlijk gegeten! Ieder gerecht was een verrassing voor het oog, smaak en maag. Vriendelijke bediening met humor. Het toetje was in een woord geweldig, waarbij de chocolade smolt op je tong. Ben je fan van chocolade, caramel en butterscotch...kies dan de Tony. Wij gaan zeker terug komen. Jullie verdienen een dikke 10!
