Had an exceptionally good meal! Restaurant Eden is not a restaurant for a quick bite; it is a whole experience. The dishes themselves feature interesting combinations of flavors and textures, everything is beautifully presented, and the accompanying wines (optional) are well-chosen. Add to that the excellent service and the beautiful decor of the restaurant, and you have a special culinary afternoon/evening.

What a treat: a delicious 5-course lunch, beautiful non-alcoholic pairing, with a delightful amuse-bouche beforehand and coffee with fantastic friandises. Enjoying it on their atmospheric terrace and being completely spoiled by knowledgeable and incredibly hospitable people.

We had an absolutely amazing evening! We sat outside with girlfriends, which was lovely. The food was phenomenal, and so were the wines. Even if you had no idea what you had actually ordered, it was a feast on your plate. Not our first Michelin-starred restaurant, but definitely the best so far!

Wow, what a fantastic culinary experience! From the moment we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and atmospheric ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed an extremely high-quality 6-course menu. Each dish was a true work of art, surprisingly flavorful, perfectly prepared, and beautifully served with attention to every detail. The accompanying wines complemented the dishes seamlessly and were outstanding, with excellent explanations for each wine. The new location in Waalre is truly beautiful. There is a lovely, quiet, and relaxed atmosphere, and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, allowing us to fully enjoy a top-level afternoon. Our afternoon was, in one word, perfect. We had a 5-course lunch on the terrace. The first dish was tasteless, the others not bad. We ordered coffee to finish, but we received only a cup of coffee without any embellishments to make it look nice. The ashtray on our table was never fixed; downright bad.

Unfortunately, I did not have a very good experience. All the small dishes were made with asparagus (were they leftovers?) and several creative creations were simply very small and not tasty. Most of our party did not eat the dessert, asparagus cake and chocolate sauce with capers... when we indicated that we did not like it, we were told that we could not appreciate such refined dishes. Also, at the beginning of the evening, there were 2 bottles of water on the table and we were only asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. Later it turned out this was a "water package" costing €23.75. We were asked if we wanted bread, yes indeed, 2 x €11.50, and also if we wanted a glass of champagne, another package costing €93.75. None of this was mentioned beforehand and, in our opinion, was offered to us, without being told that these were extra costs. At the end of the evening, we had to pay an extra €40-€50.00 per person for those extras (although this did include the drinks, which we knew would be charged for), while we did not go home satisfied. I have nothing but compliments for the staff; they were very friendly and knowledgeable, the restaurant looks nice, and it was fun that we were allowed to look in the wine cellar. But it is not a restaurant to return to; we had expected more.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service is friendly. We give it a 4.5*. We booked the 5-course menu via Social Deal. The food was surprising and very flavorful; some courses were a bit more to our liking than others, but overall, we enjoyed the culinary experience. One downside was the long wait between courses. The guests next to us had the same menu and arrived an hour later, but finished almost at the same time as us. At the Social Deal price, it is highly recommended, but at the regular price, we didn't think it was worth it. All in all, it was very nice to have experienced this once, and we had a pleasant evening.

We found the restaurant Eden in an unexpected location. The decor is warm and inviting, with plenty of privacy, and the waiters are friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed a 5-course dinner, where we let the chef surprise us. The dishes were varied and good in taste and presentation. We had a nice meal, although we did miss the 'wow' factor in the flavors. Still, definitely recommended!

The dishes you see are a Social Deal lunch. Beautiful dishes prepared by an unconventional chef. Eden plays with ingredients and spices. For some, surprising and "just a little different," for others "too much of a good thing" and therefore not fitting with what you expect or are used to. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. Option to order bread, extra oysters, and possibly an extra course. The bread and the homemade butter are very tasty. Table water and an extensive wine selection (including non-alcoholic). The wine, and certainly the non-alcoholic wine/drinks, is - we eat out regularly - too expensive. Especially considering the quantities that were poured. That was a shame and made it an expensive lunch (despite the deal). All in all; a surprising meal (not for everyone's taste - sometimes too oriental - too spicy/too salty), great location in Waalre where you can park nearby, atmospheric contemporary ambiance, correct professional service, but the drinks are (really) too expensive for what was provided. And; Never again open an extra bottle of table water without being asked at the end of lunch for coffee. That was scandalous.

Critique of the Deal at Restaurant Eden The welcome was very warm. The atmosphere is great; everything fit together perfectly. The music matched the atmosphere well; you are not seated too close to the other guests and have room for a quiet conversation. As an extra, we ordered four oysters (€15) and the extra dish (rabbit and scallops for €15 each per person). The food was a delight, especially the cod with rose hollandaise sauce, and the flat iron melted like butter. We felt very much at ease, which was also thanks to the excellent service. What really bothered us was that the waiter placed bread and butter on the table without asking after the welcome appetizer from the kitchen. When we had finished the bread, he later asked if he should bring us another portion. We confirmed that we should. The bill then listed bread twice for a total of €11.50. We would never have ordered the bread for that price. He had NOT explained to us beforehand that bread and butter cost money. Although the lunch menu stated it cost €5.75, he simply placed it on our table. As a guest, are you supposed to say you don't want it, or ask if it costs extra? That really spoiled our wonderful afternoon, and I decided to tip less. All in all, however, it is a restaurant I will return to.

The atmosphere at the restaurant is great. There was an event with a big group when we visited but it was not too noisy. We went for a five course meal. Hubby opted for half glass wine paring. Each wine served in glass to amplify its taste. Each course was a treat, as much visual as its taste. Flavours were brilliantly and uniquely paired with each other, something you won’t normally do and still it was amazing. The pre-dessert was simply brilliant! Staff is friendly and very attentive, always making sure you are comfortable and enjoying your meal. Would highly recommend this place. Look forward to going back. Of course it’s on steeper side but you get what you pay for.

And the owner and staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. If you enjoy a bit of adventurous dining, this is definitely recommended!

Hospitality is unfortunately lacking. Yesterday, my husband and I made a reservation at Eden. We had been looking forward to it and were very curious. We had just sat down when, unfortunately, my husband became very ill. We had to cancel the dinner, which was already incredibly frustrating. We hadn't consumed a single drink or dish. We politely indicated that we would like to find a solution and that we would very much like to come back for dinner another time. Unfortunately, that solution didn't materialize, and we were presented with a bill of a whopping €70 for literally nothing. When we politely inquired if this was correct, the answer was a straight face: yes. Not a single sign of empathy from the host. We were very disappointed. In our opinion, hospitality is definitely not worthy of a Michelin star. For this reason, we have decided not to return.

The spacious table arrangement ensures ample privacy, keeping the experience intimate and tranquil, even when fully booked. Service: The service is friendly, professional, and approachable. From the moment you step inside, it's clear that there's a great deal of flexibility in both the menu and the drinks. In addition to the wine pairing, there's also a non-alcoholic option, which is a pleasant surprise and demonstrates that everyone is catered to. During the evening, it's clear that there are also trainees participating, which contributes to the warm and welcoming atmosphere: attention to detail and a focus on the future go hand in hand. The food: The evening begins light and fresh with an aperitif that immediately sets the tone. As a bonus, we opted for an oyster, which, combined with the accompanying sauce, struck just the right balance: pure and refined. The appetizer with red shrimp, laredo, peach, and honey is not only a feast for the eyes but above all a harmony of flavors that pair beautifully with the accompanying drink. The first entrée, cod with cucumber, strawberry, rhubarb, and octopus, surprises with its playful and unique combination of fruit and fish: the strawberry elevates the flavor of the cod to a higher level, unexpected and pleasant. Next comes a dish that would normally be a challenge for me: the king oyster mushroom, but the combination with smoked eel, miso, garlic, and ponzu creates a layered flavor experience that completely makes you forget the texture. The main course, the double entrecôte, is an absolute highlight. The meat is perfectly tender, and combined with the asparagus, pommes aligot, and blackberries, the sauce brings everything together in a dish that impresses with every bite. Then comes the pre-dessert, the "Bokkenpoot" (Goat's Leg), a signature dish of the chef. Vanilla and cured ham are already a special combination, but the addition of caviar makes this dish truly unforgettable: every bite is exciting yet balanced. The dessert, pear with walnuts, saffron, and blue cheese, concludes the evening with strength and finesse. The sweetness of the pear and the distinctive flavor of the blue cheese complement each other, making it a worthy end to an impressive dinner.

Service is top, u are treated very specially..truly hospitable ...at the end chef came and asked us our honest feedback....as you enter, you are asked for a drink you would like, and I asked for a combination that wasn't even there on menu but they make as per request Menu itself is very experimental..the experience has been amazing...definitely recommend

Delicious food and excellent care at the new location of Eden in Waalre. Especially the mackerel with green apple and bonito dressing was exceptional. We sat outside all evening, but inside it was also very tastefully decorated with tables for 2-4 and more people. We will definitely come back here!

Very nice restaurant and although brown tones can also be boring, it gives a nice cachet to this star restaurant. Beautiful decoration and atmospheric interior. That's about it as far as positivity is concerned. After a fantastic dish (brains) at 100Chefs by GaultMillaut we had very high expectations. We took a vegetarian menu for the first time. Unfortunately that was really bad! Every chef will agree that you have to balance the ingredients in a dish into a harmonious whole. Well, that was (literally) a big disappointment. And the service, man, man, man, what a disgrace. We understand that the catering industry has trouble finding staff. Then good staff is of course even more difficult, but it really doesn't have to be that dramatically bad. Serving a wine was even too difficult and then also spoiled wine! The chef himself didn't dare come to the table, after the umpteenth disappointing dish and let the service solve that: an extra - free - dish of raspberry and octopus. In trade magazine Entree, owner Herman Cooijmans says the following: “It starts with the idea of ​​creating something special. Take that dish with octopus and raspberry: I thought about how I could make something that was both savoury and sweet. And then I spontaneously made that connection in my head. For many people that is strange, but for me it feels very natural. Sometimes it doesn't work straight away, but often I find a way in which it does work, by playing with proportions and preparation methods.” Herman, it wasn't just strange, these two ingredients didn't fit into one dish at all! It was simply NOT tasty and that applied to several courses. We would have liked to tell you that, but you hid the entire afternoon, even though you were there. That makes you a coward! You let your incompetent service and your shocked sous chef solve your created problems. That's not fair! And if you already know that we were not satisfied, why send an automated email about how we experienced our visit to your restaurant? This shows once again that you care too little about your guests and are too busy with yourself. Years of experience in the hospitality industry have taught us that every chef has his own signature and that you don't have to like everything equally. The combinations that were served to us were so outlandish, that had everything to do with your attitude, that you go against the grain and follow your own course (quote from trade magazine Entree): "It didn't stop him from continuing to experiment. For example, he combines rabbit with strawberry, beetroot with liquorice and octopus with raspberry in dishes. These are logical combinations for him." Nothing wrong with going against the grain, but damn it, also take into account your guests, who may not like your 'logical combinations'. Is the guest always right? No, definitely not! We love contemporary chefs, who teach us new combinations and present beautiful, well-balanced dishes. You can also go too far and then you will alienate your clientele very quickly. Herman, we wish you much success and contemplation, because that last point is still lacking. Your decisiveness is commendable, but just take your guests into account a bit more and then you can keep experimenting!

Delicious food. We had the first terrace day of the company. It took some getting used to for the staff but they did fine. Only compliments!

We chose Restaurant Eden to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The food and wine were absolutely amazing — nothing but praise for that. But everything to do with service was downright embarrassing and completely ruined the evening. Upon arrival on a Friday evening (we were one of only two tables the entire evening!) we asked to be seated at another table. This was refused without any explanation. The hostess — distant and uninterested — explained the menu with minimal effort. There were 4–7 courses, with the option to add three extra dishes for €15 each. What was not allowed? Substituting a dish. Why not? “Because it would affect the quality of the menu” and “other customers like to add things.” But… we were the only guests. When one of our table companions indicated that they really didn’t like the starter, no effort was made to think along. No “what can we do?” or “shall I ask the chef?” — only a cold remark that she could have something from the vegan menu. Even when we suggested paying extra for one of the optional dishes instead of the starter, we were simply told “no.” Eventually we were allowed to replace it, but by then the moment was completely ruined. As if that wasn’t enough, the original hostess decided to just go home — in the middle of the evening. Her replacement was friendly, but chatted endlessly. He went into great detail about ingredients that no one asked about, and when someone made a light-hearted comment about the beautiful wine glasses, we were given an unsolicited, long-winded explanation of how to properly clean wine glasses. It was embarrassing. And the icing on the cake: when we left, we were asked to sign an empty wine bottle for their “collection.” This kind of poppy behavior makes you feel like you’re part of their marketing concept as a guest — not a genuine dining experience. Restaurant Eden seems to think it’s an honor to be allowed to dine here. But if you only have two tables on a Friday night and you don't know how to treat guests hospitably, then it's time to rethink priorities. Without a solid restructuring of the service, I don't see this lasting long.

Had a great meal with friends. Moved from Valkenswaard to Waalre but definitely a positive change. Only downside is the poor accessibility due to roadworks. But that is temporary.

Het was ons eerste bezoek aan deze zaak. Het onthaal was vriendelijk. We werden keurig naar onze tafel geleid. Bij de aperitief kozen we voor enkele oesters en wat charcuterie. Als aperitief namen we champagne. De bijhorende amuses waren erg verfijnd en lekker. Het 5 gangenmenu bracht ons van het ene naar het andere moment van genot. Ook de bijhorende wijnen waren erg goed. We sloten het menu af met een kop koffie met mignardises en een glaasje oude madeira. Wat we onthouden van die avond is de vlotte en correcter bediening, een heerlijk diner met goede wijnen, en dit alles aan een correcte prijs. Wij komen hier zeker terug.

Had dinner at Eden yesterday and were able to sit outside on the terrace. Wonderful place. The food was "exciting" and very tasty. Service was very friendly and good. We both wanted a glass of wine that would match the entire menu and that also went well, a delicious pinot noir and a riesling for the white wine. Heerlijke avond uit gehad. Ontvangst door de gastheer bij de deur. De nieuwe locatie ziet er schitterend uit. Wij kozen voor een 4-gangen diner aangevuld met een extra keuze gerecht. Alle vijf de gangen waren heerlijk met een bijpassende wijn erbij. Wij kijken terug op een fijne avond.

Oei, geschrokken van de ervaring. Prima maar zeker niet verrassend of bijzonder. Bediening en eten was in valkenswaard beter. Locatie in waalre prachtig en met veel potentie maar die wordt echt niet waargemaakt. Geen slechte avond gehad, goede bedoelingen maar werk aan de winkel.

Good choice of wine with the dishes. The surprise dishes themselves were quite tasteless except for the first dish - mutton - which was far too strong. This taste had to seem better than the real meat of the main course (namely imitation meat, which was presented as 'steak' at the time of serving). When someone serves me a dish, I expect it to be given to me. The other way around; If I am served vegetables and it turns out to be meat, then this is certainly not correct for me. And now the question for me is whether allergens are taken into account at this restaurant. I would like to receive a response to this, I will adjust my 'rating' accordingly if applicable. The second star is because I support meat substitutes. Edit: I added a star because they took the time to respond and once again the wines matched well. To my regret, however, I did not see a correct substantiation in the feedback for 'not being honest in what is served'. Whether it is vegetables presented as meat, carrots presented as potatoes or pork presented as beef; The court must always be communicated honestly and transparently in advance.

The service level still lacks some attention to detail. The cappuccino and friandises were also a disappointment. Het eten is prima, maar de service laat echt te wensen over. De chef ging slechts naar 1 tafel waar bekenden van hem zaten. Tot 3 x toe gevraagd of de lichten konden dimmen of als dat niet zou kunnen er een tube zonnebrand beschikbaar was. Allemaal heel leuk en mooi opgezet, maar € 250 pp en ook nog een ster is het zeker niet waard! Heel erg amateuristisch en teleurstellend!

Had dinner here with a friend yesterday, as a Christmas gift to each other. Unfortunately, our hope for delicious food was soon lost. The food was very tasteless, we wondered if there was even a star chef in the kitchen. The staff walking around were very strange and seemed to have no experience. We even left two plates of food behind because it didn't taste good and we weren't even asked about it, but just taken away. We previously indicated that it was tasteless, to which we said “hopefully the next dish will have more taste” ?!Excuse me?! Very convincing... unfortunately we also heard more people complaining. At the end a man behind the bar asked if everything was OK, and we said that unfortunately it was very disappointing. This gentleman responded “oh, annoying”. He asked what our tastiest dish was, to which we replied “the appetizer”. As a restaurant owner, I would be very ashamed. What should have been a beautiful evening, full of delicious food, was unfortunately ruined. We will never come back here and this is certainly not worthy of one star. We had the 7-course “JRE menu”. The layout of the plates was good. Location and furnishings were beautiful.

Eten was smaakloos, bediening was heel raar en niet opgeleid, zelfs twee borden waar twee happen van waren gegeten weer laten meenemen, maar er werd niet gevraagd waarom we het eten lieten staan.. toen op het eind werd gevraagd of alles had gesmaakt, hebben wij aangegeven dat het helaas tegenviel en het eten niet smaakte. Hier werd op geantwoord met “vervelend”. Zeker geen ster waardig, we hebben bij veel redtaurants zonder ster gegeten, waar we veeel beter hebben gegeten. Geen aanrader.

Heel mooi ingerichte zaak. Vriendelijk en goede service en heerlijk gegeten. Ze zijn net verhuisd dus je merkt wel dat ze nog een beetje moeten wennen aan de nieuwe locatie, zat iets te veel tijd tussen de gerechten. Maar al met al super!

Disappointing and flat We were really looking forward to our dinner at Eden. We had the 6-course inspiration menu with a mix of vegetarian dishes and fish. For a change, we took a non-alcoholic package this time. Normally there are 1 to 2 courses that are less popular. This time it was the other way around. There were only 1 or 2 dishes that were appreciated, or rather: just reached the standard. The dishes were bland in taste, not very surprising and certainly not memorable. Normally, dishes stick around because they are special (delicious) in terms of taste or texture. We would only order the red mullet again. The highlight (or low point) was the asparagus with peas. How this dish ended up on the menu is a mystery to us. Almost undercooked asparagus, in too many nori sheets, on a mashed potato-like emulsion. For the first time we didn't finish a dish completely. The non-alcoholic package consisted of sweet mocktails (based on syrup), always in the same glasses. Lots of sweets and little variety, both in terms of presentation and content. Why not have a non-alcoholic cava or something like that? Tip: Do not choose the vegetarian dishes or the non-alcoholic package. Hopefully we were unlucky and will have a better experience if we try again. Yet this was far below par, especially considering the price. We give 3 stars because this fits the food: nothing special. We had a nice evening together! The restaurant is pleasant, and the service is informal and friendly (suits us).

Onze verwachtingen waren hoog, maar het was een grote teleurstelling. Bediening was absoluut niet op orde, duurde allemaal veel te lang ( zeker het eerste drankje ) . Eten ook teleurstellend. Bediening slecht. niet ingewerkt en te weinig personeel. Ontvangst ook zeer amateuristisch , zelf onze weg moeten zoeken. De prijzen zijn nog steeds op sterren niveau maar de rest absoluut niet. Wij begrepen dat onze gastheer later geklaagd heeft en die kreeg ter compensatie gratis oliebollen aangeboden !!! En dat voor een "sterrenzaak". Dit gaat hem niet worden zo.

In Valkenswaard it was: Top team with very tasty and special dishes in a homely, cozy atmosphere. Christmas lunch 2023 was also very tasty, and always creative in the choice of the menu, with excellent matching wines. Christmas dinner 2024 in Waalre was unfortunately less successful.

2 jaar geleden fijne ervaring bij Eden is Valkenswaard met onze Kerstlunch. Nu nieuwe locatie weer naar toe 1e Kerstdag-Lunch. Wat een afgang, totaal niet sterrenwaardig. Kale tafels, erg gehorig, sfeerloos Smakeloos eten, was gewoon niet lekker, Rauw! Erg lange pauze tussen de gangen. Van 12.30 t/m 17.30 uur voor een lunch? Tot overmaat van ramp het hele gezelschap na afloop Buikloop.

We enjoyed the 7-course Christmas dinner! Delicious combinations, tasty wines that were nicely presented by the sommelier. Beautiful new location with very nice acoustics, which is very pleasant. Great team!

Excellent food, service was pleasant; not pushy and a bit informal. It has become a beautiful thing. They have just opened and there are still some things that can be fine-tuned, but we are going to be fussy about that now.

Upon entering we were completely ignored for 5 minutes before we were even received. We were then escorted to our table, where the drama really began: we sat there for 15 minutes without any service whatsoever. No menu, no drink, nothing. This is seriously below average for a place with a Michelin star. After waiting 15 minutes we decided to leave simply because no one helped us. The hostess indicated that she fully understood it, which made it even more poignant. How this case has a star is beyond us.

A disappointing experience for a star restaurant. We arrived at 7:00 PM and had to wait until 7:40 PM before we went to the counter to order something to drink. The service was far from stellar. Although the food was fine, there are at least 10 other restaurants in the area where you will get a better experience. We had to wait a long time, the wine selection was minimal and no one came to ask if everything was to our liking. In short, a disappointment and a great shame.

Today we had the opportunity to take a look at the new location of Restaurant Eden at Oude Torenstraat 6 in Waalre. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere that seamlessly complements the refined dishes, unexpected combinations and tasty wines this restaurant has to offer. The interior exudes elegance and comfort, with carefully selected decorations creating a soothing ambiance. The soft light, combined with the subtle music in the background, makes it the perfect place for a relaxing dinner or a special occasion. All in all, Restaurant Eden is highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in beautiful surroundings. Restaurant Eden has set the bar high and will undoubtedly become a favorite among gourmets in Waalre. It is not without reason that Eden restaurant has already been awarded as a Michelin star restaurant.

We hadden er iets meer van verwacht. Ambiance was rommelig. Acoustiek matig en initieel ook geen muziek. Bediening was aardig echter geen duidelijke structuur en opvolging. Moesten uiteindelijk zelf om de kaart vragen en alvast n drankje erbij. Eerste gerechten waren niet lekker en ietwat taai, te lang gelegen onder warmte lamp vermoed ik. Werd gedurende de avond beter maar teleurstelling was reeds daar. Al met al mijns inziens nog niet zover dat een ster verdiend kan worden.

Teleurstelling, eten te zout, niet lekker gegeten, tafel niet schoon , personeel onprofessioneel,jammer waren er om verjaardag te vieren.

Goed restaurant. We hadden een zes gangen JRE menu gekozen. Alles was erg goed met heerlijke smaken. Het ene gerecht was wel iets lekkerder dan het andere. Het hoofdgerecht was Wagyu bavette. Het was voortreffelijk en uitstekend van smaak en bereiding. We hebben uitstekend gegeten. De bediening was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom een geslaagde avond . Voor herhaling vatbaar.

A very hospitable welcome from both the kitchen and the service. Had a lovely drink in the lounge and then enjoyed a top menu with dishes that stimulated your taste buds. Absolutely great. We certainly enjoyed this evening and are very curious to see what the new location will look like.

Had a great experience at EDEN! We went for the 7-course inspiration menu. Delicious dishes with special ingredients and combinations, with delicious matching wines. For me it was the first time in a star restaurant. EDEN is an ideal place for that. The staff is relaxed, gives good explanations of the wines and dishes and there is room for humor. We had a great evening!

Wij hadden 1 vega menu en dit viel erg tegen. Kleine porties, en vooral het hoofdgerecht was teleurstellend. Een paar stukjes groene (bijna rauwe) asperges in zeewier gewikkeld met een crème. Het ‘normale menu’ was ook matig. De sauzen van beide menu’s waren wel lekker. De bediening vonden wij een beetje onhandig. Bij elke gang moesten ze aan tafel nog nadenken welk gerecht voor wie was, terwijl we maar met z’n 2en waren. Jammer dat er bij de koffie niks lekkers zat. De friandises die we besteld hadden waren wel erg lekker.

For our 2 year wedding anniversary we wanted to celebrate this special in a good restaurant. The food is excellent, surprising with nice matching wines. Ambiance is nice Atmosphere has a Brabant touch Still, unfortunately I have to take one star off. We made a reservation on a site with a promotion and indicated that we wanted to pay with a gift card. Unfortunately, this was overlooked by the staff, so it was not possible to use the gift card. A dinner here is not cheap and we have to work hard for it, which makes us feel worse after the evening.

Restaurant Eden offers an evening experience for a reasonable price (compared to other Michelin restaurants). The decor is businesslike, but that does not detract from the fantastic kitchen. I'm curious how the move to Waalre will turn out. We opted for the 5-course Inspiration menu: Palm heart-razor eel (I didn't like the palm heart that much), Halibut-celeriac-fennel-caviar, Soft shell crab and curry (top dish), Veal picana and for dessert Caramel-ginger-tarragon fruit. Had a great evening, worth repeating.

Incredible quality and price. Excellent preparation of food. We have been there four times in recent 5 months, but we never walked out of the door disappointed.

Too bad you can only give 5 stars on Google. Eden deserves 10. In a word: class! I had the JRE menu and what surprising dishes came up. Everything presented with the utmost care and a beautiful journey through unexpected textures and flavors. Everything equally tasty and with special contrasts in taste experience. The ambiance is great, partly due to the extremely friendly, helpful and professional service at the table. You rarely find that in the Netherlands anymore. This restaurant is worth a visit, even if you have to come from far away. Thank you Eden for an unforgettable evening and see you again soon.

Delicious meal from the 8-course inspiration menu. The dishes had a special and daring ingredient here and there. We were there on a Wednesday evening, it was very quiet, which made it less atmospheric, but on the other hand, perfect service because the host had all the time for us.

It was a wonderful experience to dine at Eden. Beautiful interior and great service, delicious wines. Some dishes were not to our taste such as razor (chewy) and veal brain. All in all a nice evening where the liquorice prawn crackers, crab curry, venison with snails mouse and picanha were especially delicious.

The meat was too salty. The sweetbreads were not tasty. There were sauces that had a bitter taste. Excellent staff. Good explanation.

What a great evening! Surprising dishes such as calf brains with licorice plant as an intermediate dish and caramelized cauliflower as a pre-dessert. The halibut with caviar and beurre blanc was the highlight of the evening, perfect. The service was very attentive and the sommelier recommended a very nice wine that we would not have chosen otherwise. Where we sometimes had dishes served too quickly at other (star) restaurants, it was better here. It was a full evening program that we were very happy with. We would love to come back again.

Ate here for the first time last night and it was great. Very nice attentive service, the food was top notch and very tasty (the rib eye unfortunately less so). We were advised to have delicious wine...so definitely recommended 😊🙏🏻

When I indicated my gastric bypass, the chef came to inquire and, together with his colleagues, tailored the portions. It was just enough. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and beautiful dishes and matching wines. Very surprising taste sensations. In addition, the service was friendly, cooperative, knowledgeable, attentive and used appropriate humor. We will definitely come back here, if not in Valkenswaard or next year in Waalre.

Had a delicious meal at Eden. A top menu with a nice daring touch. We tried the crow breast today and it was fantastic. Yes, you read that right: Crow!! Never expected it to be so tasty. Beautifully composed entree by the chef. Bold choice but really worth it! Bravo Herman! We would love to come and enjoy your daring dishes more often!!
