Very successful. Ate there for the second time. Be careful when making reservations. The email doesn't always arrive. It feels a bit strange, as if you haven't made a reservation.

Eight of us stayed in a cottage at Center Parcs. It was a real escape. The first evening, we had a delicious gourmet meal (as you're supposed to do in a Center Parcs cottage, with groceries from home). The second evening, we wanted to eat together at a restaurant. Center Parcs was fully booked. And that's a good thing, because that's how we ended up at De Zwaan. We made a last-minute reservation and were given a super cozy round table. Owner Carola was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. Her husband, who runs the kitchen, doesn't like cooking from packets (just like me), and it shows. We had an incredibly delicious meal for a very reasonable price. In short: we'll happily eat what's on offer again in Borkel!

A lovely little place with an extensive menu featuring delicious down-home classics like artisanal croquettes and sausage rolls at a friendly price. In this village, every city dweller feels understood. A view of the church, the opportunity to take a carriage ride just like in Prague, and the beautiful white mill just 100 meters away. A truly understood world citizen!

The restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The food tastes absolutely delicious. Tagliatelle, salad, burgers... there was nothing to complain about. The food is cooked with love, the spices are very pleasant, and the service is very attractive. The staff is very attentive, polite, and efficient. Highly recommended...

Hi everyone, last Tuesday I had a lovely and cozy lunch here with the owner; he's my mat and a legend! He also kicked a customer off the terrace that day who was being racist. Very annoying. I'm very happy about that, because that's really unacceptable. The man said, "...they're disgusting." But I disagree. Because I find that appealing. The food was delicious, by the way. And drinks too. We had beer. From the local brand Bavaria. Because that's also the great thing about this place: they support local heroes. From Brabant for Brabant.

It's hard to determine the atmosphere on a terrace that's pleasantly situated in the village. It's a shame you have to sit in cigarette smoke while eating. When will the restaurant create a separate smoking area outside on the terrace? The service was excellent, and the food was good.

Delicious food, amazing service and great atmosphere. Nice place to have lunch. Loved their warm brie sandwich. One of the best brie sandwich they had. Also, pasta was great and so we're the fries. Must visit if you are nearby.

Delicious food, fast service and reasonably priced

We were completely rotten and sweaty from canoeing, but that doesn't bother Cafe de Zwaan in Bogtel at all. Hospitality is paramount here. Just like PSV. It's so much nicer here than that filthy, moldy establishment in Barneveld. I had a beer there and the flakes (not chocolate) fell from the ceiling. We have been a few times as the food is really good, however we unfortunately had a few bad experiences with customer service now. Staff can be very rude (and we are absolutely not difficult or give ‚Karen‘ energy haha)! We will not be coming back

Celebrated 60th wedding anniversary with parents-in-law with 26 people. Everything was very well taken care of and the food was delicious. Service top! Cozy setup made for us with round tables. Worth repeating. Thank you & greetings on behalf of the entire family.

Tasty food and beautiful surroundings. But the service is terribly slow. Waiting an hour for the soup. Then wait an hour for the main course. Then wait an hour for dessert. I don't think we will return.

The food was fine but it took 1.5 hours for the main course to arrive. In itself it is not a problem to go out for dinner all evening long. However, this opportunity is not suitable for that. It was a noise from here to Tokyo. Acoustically a drama because there are 0 curtains. If there are many large groups, and they sit a lot, then it quickly becomes a chicken coop. The service was friendly but very slow. De Zwaan has had better times. In any case, we won't be going back there again.

Cozy and beautifully located Grand Cafe, the onion soup was simple (prepared with oxo) but hearty and served with 2 small bread rolls. The prices are very democratic.

'Discovered' this location a few years ago and had a very good experience. Since then, a visit to De Zwaan has been part of the annual family trip to Borkel en Schaft. Unfortunately, it met expectations last year, but especially this year. The food is still tasty, but apparent staff shortages make it very frustrating for both guests and staff. We arrived before 12 noon and had to wait more than 1.5 hours for our food. Better tell us there is no more room.

The place looks good. Decent. This place is more for some kind of celebration ( wedding, birthday parties etc) funeral ( hope not). But its funny. This place comes with a view. View into the future. Since the cemetery is next doors. Joke on the side. I didn't like it was crowded outside with old people. We were waiting for someone to finish and get up. There were about to go. But no. They stand up and went back to the chairs to rest. A table next to them was available but NO we couldn't sit there because it was reservate . OK we went to the other side. In the garden lots of tables. But no we couldn't sit there even there were like 6 tables available. But one family gave their table to us. Check my picture view into the future 😝🫣

Had lunch here during our canoe trip from Neerpelt. The food tasted very good, as did the beer that was ordered with it. It was very busy, we sat near an open door and the wind was blowing quite strongly. Since we were wet from the water, we asked if the door could be closed. This was done without any problem, very nice.

A cozy terrace, friendly staff. A very big negative point: having to wait 3 hours for your food and then only a sorry and free drink, I think is far below standard. The terrace was certainly not full, they simply forgot our order Think if you eat and drink for €80, at least as a service, error recognition could have significantly reduced the bill as compensation.
