The atmosphere is as expected. Well laid out in a businesslike manner, which puts it at the expense of coziness. No problem. The service is friendly and helpful. Because there are (too) few staff members walking around, you have to wait a bit longer occasionally. The food is fine, decent portions, good flavor. Recommended if you visit the Art Museum and Photography Museum.

Restaurant situated in a beautiful location, with indoor and outdoor tables. Not a busy place, just relaxed. Friendly staff. Extensive coffee and lunch menu. We had lunch, which was excellent. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my birthday at Gember. That was a good choice. The preparations went smoothly and with understanding. The reception was very friendly, and all the staff were helpful and very nice. The food and drinks were more than excellent. My guests, and I, had a wonderful afternoon. Thank you.

What an intensely boring terrace. Lunch (croquettes and Caesar salad) was okay. Chardonnay very acidic.

We came with a large group and were served a lovely lunch with soup, sandwiches, and wraps. Everything was fresh and delicious. Gluten-free and lactose-free requests were taken into account, and a large portion of the food was vegetarian. The service was amazing and super friendly. The atmosphere at Gember is fresh and artistic, with beautiful photos and artwork. Sitting outside is wonderful, with a view of the pond and the Art Museum. Highly recommended!!

Nice space, however I find €21 for 2 cappuccinos and 2 ready-made Dudok apple tarts very expensive.

We really enjoyed a sharing platter here. Lots of choice for just the two of us instead of a lunch dish. We aren't big eaters and this was the perfect portion. Delicious! The atmosphere is always good here and the service is very friendly. My mother's flowers got a vase. Nice.

Beautiful place, very delicious cake, especially the carrot cake is highly recommended, it is from Dudok. The service is very fast and friendly.

We were able to have a lovely lunch outside, the service was very friendly, and there was a great sunny terrace where we went back for a bit after our museum visit.

The flammkuchen with eggplant and hoisin sauce was very salty, which was a shame. The blue cheese salad was nice, but the bread roll that came with it wasn't baked properly. The service was very friendly.

We had a delicious (vegan) meal, and the staff was very attentive. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. This is a great place for vegetarians and vegans!

Today I went to the restaurant with someone in an electric wheelchair for coffee. The person in the wheelchair has a feeding tube and really wanted a very small cappuccino just for the taste. The staff member understood and brought me a regular cappuccino and one in a very small glass just for the taste. How incredibly thoughtful and service-oriented. I often experience things differently. And I only had to pay for one coffee. Another 10 out of 10!

I arrived for lunch after a visit to the photography museum and waited a long time for service. I ended up leaving without ordering because no one came to me. I'd never been there before, but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

On a Tuesday, I enjoyed a delicious warm quiche with salad. I was glad I'd made a reservation because almost every table was taken.

We went for a farewell lunch with a group from work. Lovely atmosphere the waitress was really nice and thoughtful. They’ve asked if we preferred Dutch or English as our team was an expat mix and some of us speaks Dutch and some doesn’t. The food was amazing! I order the quiche of the day with a side salad and was afraid that the salad was going to be small and too simple - it wasn’t! It had a nice size and was really tasty! They serve the dressing on the side so you can add it your own way. Everything was delicious. We were all pleased. 😃

They have delicious carrot cake there: highly recommended!!

Delicious lunch for four of you, outside in this special place. The salads are large, 2 people shared one, 2 plates were added without any problems.

Delicious BLT, fast service. The only downside is that the Greek Salad was out of proportion (the feta to tomato ratio was not optimal). It's all a bit expensive but I reckon that has to do with inflation. very yummy nonetheless :3

Had a lovely lunch with some friends before we went to the Art Museum next door. Reservations for our group of 8 were easy via the website. Great help from friendly staff. We had a delicious meal. I had the quiche with salad which tasted delicious. Others had a sandwich with blue cheese and the flammkuchen classic. They tasted good too. This restaurant is highly recommended before or after your museum visit or just in between. When the weather is nice you can also sit on the terrace

Excellent, very friendly service, but the bread was not traditional..

You have to pay 12 euros for two slices of bread and a few eggs. Well, if you want champions, cheese, etc., you pay 1 euro extra per item. An average bouncer (vegetarian) is 3 additions. So 15 euros total. Ridiculous. We went further to Gastrobar Berlage. For 14.50 euros I received a delicious grilled steak with marinated tomato, chimichurri, arugula, provolone and sourdough bread. Cheaper and much better value for money. They do have friendly staff there. Here's another grumpy employee who clearly didn't feel like doing her job.

Restaurant in the art museum but with its own entrance. For lunch dishes, coffee and pastries. Busy on weekends and many tables reserved. Lots of staff. Limited range of pastries, supermarket quality and spicy expensive. Nice view of art museum. Free parking on the street until 1 p.m.

After a museum visit, this is certainly a good place to have lunch. It was quite busy, but a table was quickly arranged for the five of us ladies. Great!

Closing time is 6:00 PM. Yesterday we came in for coffee at 5.10pm. No. The waitress with black hair was shaking: “We have already recorded the last round.” Would the manager or owner know this?

Restaurant is located in the photo museum. Lots of sitting and standing space. And not just any room. Lots of art around you...on the walls. The service is friendly, young🥹 and quite fast. Celebrated a friend's birthday there with more than 50 men/women. Drinks, soft drinks, coffee, snacks, bitterballen garnish, vegetarian sandwiches, cheese ham sandwiches and salmon sandwiches. Too much to despise. The museum allowed us to hang balloons and we had rented the space in advance (reserved tables).

For one of us, the Teryaki chicken was not warm and did not really taste like Teryaki. The quiche wasn't very warm either, but it was Tasty. Salad tasty but extra dressing was requested.

Great place for lunch or drinks when visiting the Photo Museum or Art Museum. A varied menu with tasty dishes and quick and friendly service. The decoration could be a little more atmospheric, but it is fine with a view of the pond in front of the Art Museum.

Matige ervaring. In de kern wat je qua setting van een restaurant in een museum mag verwachten, maar de bediening liet echt wel te wensen over. Niet gastvrij en weinig met de gasten bezig.

We werden niet geholpen. Drie maal gevraagd of onze bestelling opgenomen kon worden. Men liep een beet rond. Totaal geen pit. Wij zijn maar ergens anders gaan eten. Ik denk dat de kwaliteit mogelijk goed is. Het was druk. Dat het niet liep zal mogelijk door personeelsgebrek komen of slecht personeel .

Gember is Ginger in Dutch and it's a Gem. It's part of the building that also houses the Museum for Photography and the Museum for Modern Art KM21. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating weather permitting. Outdoor you have a view over the pond in front of the Kunstmuseum Den Haag which is next door Staff is very friendly and serve delicious food with a smile. They have nice vegetarian food as well

This cafe is situated inside of the space for the fotomuseum and next to the kunstmuseum. There is a lovely reading table with magazines and newspapers. The spacious interior also has views over the fountains and park. The menu has an assortment of sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and desserts. Unfortunately on my visit, there was only Apple cake available. The service is friendly.
