Wereld Restaurant Samen in Wijk 41 Hoornwijk

Zaterdag 22 maart 2 weken vooraf een afspraak gemaakt voor 19.00 uur. Bij aankomst om 18.55 moesten we wachten in een enorm drukke hal voor de ingang van het restaurant tot we werden afgeroepen. Dit gebeurde pas om 19.20! We werden door een niet zo vriendelijke gastvrouw van hot naar her gebracht, weer wachten in het gangpad, ze wist het allemaal niet meer, druk druk druk. Uiteindelijk neergezet aan een ongedekte tafel helemaal achterin. Toen geprobeerd een biefstukje te laten maken maar de rij was zo lang dat het een half uur koste.! We hebben ons maar tegoed gedaan aan sushi, die was overigens erg lekker. Het overige eten wat we wel hebben genomen was matig. Voor ons geldt, Dit doen we nooit meer. Er zijn vergelijkbare restaurants met een veel beter aanbod, kwaliteit, sfeer en doorloop.

La bollería casera y la gigantesca fuente de chocolate fueron el toque dulce perfecto para terminar la comida. Las bebidas también eran abundantes, ofreciendo desde refrescos, café y té hasta vino, cerveza y otras bebidas alcohólicas. El servicio fue rápido y amable, con el personal limpiando continuamente las mesas para mantener el espacio ordenado. El restaurante es enorme, con 650 asientos, por lo que es una excelente opción para grupos grandes y eventos. Ya sea que visite a su familia, amigos o colegas, es el lugar perfecto para una gran comida en un ambiente espacioso y acogedor. Muy recomendable!

te groot / commercieel tafel was nog niet klaar op gereserveerde tijd. te rommelig en druk bij het buffet 20 min. wachten bij de bakplaten van vlees/ vis koffie lang leeg, veel andere dingen werden matig bijgevuld

¡Qué sabroso! Ya he estado allí varias veces, y me gusta mucho este lugar. Tantas opciones de comida. Platos para todos. Muchas opciones de comida marina y sushi. ¡Incluso ostras! Carne, pollo, wok que hacen a base de ingredientes que elijas. Fuentes de chocolate, desiertos, opciones de helados, frutas. También consigues refrescos, cerveza y vino. Todo incluido en el precio. Lo mejor todo lo que puedas comer lugar!

Veel te duur voor wat er is. Weinig keuze en slechte kwaliteit. Teleurstellend, misschien ook omdat we andere all you can eat ervaringen hebben die top zijn. Hier kom ik niet weer.

Veel te druk! Het aantal mensen tov het buffet is niet in verhouding. Lange rijen, lege schalen. Daarnaast hadden we een plek naast de afruim keuken met veel herrie van borden stapelen en bestek in bakken kletteren l. Hutje muntje . Gaan we niet nog een keer doen!

lots and lots of pressure. everyone just keeps pushing each other. food was cold, tough meat and something with a crispy layer that was not crispy at all. If you can't serve good quality food, you shouldn't try to pack so many people together in one evening. whole rows everywhere. no fresh strawberries, dents everywhere, half of them look spoiled. I absolutely love sushi myself, but the sushi they have here is unbelievable, even though 9 out of 10 Chinese people work around as employees. bad restaurant

Met collega's gegeten en ik ben de enige met glutten intolerantie. Ik ben als VIP ontvangen. Ling werkt bij dit restaurant en ik kreeg van haar een rondleiding. Ze liet me zien welke dingen ik mag eten. Ze heeft zelfs voor mij speciaal eten gebracht toen ik aan de tafel zat. Mijn collega's waren heel jaloers, omdat zij zelf het eten moesten gaan ophalen. Het is een All You can Eat restaurant. Zeker een aanrader voor mensen met voedselallergieën. Dankjewel Ling!

Deliciously tender food. The chef knows exactly who owns what. Quite busy at the grill plate. Lots of choice. Sushi, tenderloin slices, Kangaroo steak, chicken legs, cold fish assorted, fried fish, wok dishes, lots of desserts, profiteroles, fruit, chocolate fountains, ice cream....in short, too much to mention.

Nice all you can eat restaurant. Very atmospheric and many different cuisines available. Great for a dinner, family or work outing!

Vermijden! Echt slecht eten, niet lekker of niet gaar. Restaurant is te groot en als je pech hebt loop je je breuk naar het eten. Je hebt het gevoel op vakantie te zijn want Nederlands wordt er amper gesproken....zowel door de bediening als de gasten.

Nog nooit zo een slechte ervaring gehad. Het eten smaakt sws naar niks. Letterlijk elk bord die we pakten was echt smerig! Personeel spreekt weinig tot geen nederlands/engels. Als je ze iets vraagt negeren ze je liever dan iemand erbij te roepen voor hulp. Je wordt raar aangekeken als je iets vraagt. Behalve dat zijn ze ook totaal niet vriendelijk. Het ergste komt nog. Op 1 klein stuk na staat Er nergens welk gerecht het is. MAAR HET ERGSTE KOMT NU Ik stond bij de pizza en wilde vragen wat voor soorten pizza er lag, maar niemand te bekennen.. Wat zie ik? De kok stond letterlijk voor mij bij de wasbak (achter het tepanyaki gedeelte) zijn neus keihard te snuiten IN de wasbak lekker met blote handen ook, snot zo in de wasbak waar de pannen worden afgespoeld. Een plek waar iedereen het ziet ?! Hoe onhygiënisch en goor dit is hoef ik verder niet te vertellen. Vervolgens kwam de manager, omdat ik van slag was. Hij wilde het niet geloven dus ik zeg kijk op de camera beelden. Heeft hij gedaan maar dat zag hij niet gebeuren (yeah right) Een attitude van hier tot tokio! Het enige wat hij zei is ik kan niks betekenen voor u. Terwijl ik niet eens ergens om heb gevraagd?! Waarschijnlijk dacht hij dat ik uit was op korting!! Ik wilde het alleen melden als klacht want ik was van slag. Vreselijke plek en echt ontzettend onhygiënisch. De staat van de borden zegt echt al genoeg!! Voor dat geld kan je echt beter eten.

We arrived and there was already no room for the car (recommended to arrive well before time). Then we first stood in line for 5 to 10 minutes to pay, then had to wait another 10 minutes for our table (reserved). It was extremely busy, there were very long lines for meat, fish and hot ready-made meals (20 minutes), we sat very close to each other, not everything was refilled, there was no indication of what dishes were available. The food we ate was tasty.

I think food is a 10 but no atmosphere If you are in the dining area, you cannot let your young child play alone on the downstairs floor, there is no one to watch and the toilet is also on another floor, you first have to walk a lot and then also take the elevator downstairs. Went over the weekend. People were noisy and there was little walking space between the tables. Food was as I expected, the wok and bath fresh, everything else you had to pack yourself. But I knew this beforehand. Empty plates and glasses were quickly removed, sometimes a little too quickly, you grab your last piece and your plate is already gone. 🫣

An all you can eat restaurant. And then one on the highway, with a hotel and casino, so you do the math. What I liked is the draft beer and soft drinks from the original bottles. Food in abundance and something for everyone. What I ate was okay. What I didn't like was that the restaurant was just dirty. Thick layers of dust on the lamps, a filthy messy wardrobe, dirty plates. The reception at the “reception” is not inviting. (It was a Saturday, so it was busy.) The service using clearing trolleys to squeeze through the tables that were much too close together, clearing the tables with a lot of noise and throwing the cutlery into the bins complete the sad picture.

The food was delicious. I thought the service was a bit less, we had to find where the food was located ourselves. And then we had to leave our bags at the table. You thought the atmosphere was a shame. As soon as people get up, everything is cleared away immediately. So I started eating quickly because I got the feeling that they were going to close at any moment.

I have been in this restaurant before but this time was really dissapointed. The food was cold and niet tasty at all. The place was really dirty and it was not definetely not like it used to be. I consider that it does not matter what time you go to eat the quality should be the same as you pay the same money like the others. Even the desserts were not tasty!!!...

Had a great experience at this restaurant! Delicious food, lots of choice. What I missed a little bit was stew of course, since we are in the Netherlands and it is called "World Restaurant Together", but hey, we will overlook that. Atmosphere was fine, for the most part, until a Turk suddenly got angry at someone, but of course the restaurant can't do anything about that.

The restaurant is small compared to other " all you can eat" restaurants but the variety of food was better and the food taste is more satisfying & delicious Highly recommended if you prefer sea food 🍤🍣🦞🥘🍘🍙🍢🥟

Enormous place, food in abundant quantities, some a bit bland (could be much more spicy) but beautifully presented. All included, from wine to water. Ps if you want apple sauce for your kid ( or yourself) ask a bar person. It is kept cool.

Nice restaurant, but I didn't want meat (not halal) only fish in my case (halal) and you were not allowed to take meat and fish yourself, which gave me the feeling that the chef will come again, a friendly smile from the chef would help or you would do it yourself grab what you need. Don't limit. I had to ask for 2 plates for me and mother so that she doesn't have to get up all the time because of pain in her knee. So there is an improvement there, it is not called all you can eat for nothing for €45 per person. I'm going back to where I always go, Zuiderpark all you can eat.

The food is absolutely worthless compared to the price. Tables are far too close together... Paid for 2 hours but we left after 1 hour.. Then drive about 30 minutes further to Zwijndrecht... always... super cool there and 100% better quality, service and price...

Unfortunately I expected much more from this restaurant. The food just wasn't fresh. Flies on the food, like on the pizzas, and there were NO names listed with the food. As a customer you want to know what kind of meat or fish you are eating. The drinking glasses were also not clean. Very sad and disappointed.

Too bad there were no names with the food, what type of meat it is or fish. That's why I didn't dare to taste everything, which is a shame. Unfortunately I also saw flies on the food.

Parking is a real drama, but overall it is a great restaurant where you can enjoy tasty and varied food. We would love to come back again

You're quite nice there. Wine on tap is good. A paradise for children. Long lines at the teppanyaki. Personally I'm not into this concept but it's quite fun for once and I think of all the restaurants in this niche this is one of the best. Lobster and crab for the lovers. Friendly staff.

25 years of service to a number of Ahold-Delhaize colleagues at Samen. Beautiful location, atmosphere, and delicious unlimited food. Taste and spice distribution is good. Dumplings were a must for me. Perfectly filled. Meat diversity is great. Again in August 2024 and after October, November 2 more times. Pay attention to the line, but TOP.

One of the nicest buffet places around The Hague, worth the price! Wide range of good quality foods to choose from on Saturday, including: scallops, lobster, good quality beef. Attentive staff, and a bonus playroom for kids. To avoid crowds and queueing to grilling stations, best to dine soon after opening.

Personally, I found the food a bit on the salty side. And not everything was tasty. It's an all you can eat. My experience is that the quality of taste is then slightly less. I liked grilled dishes. Not sushi at all. The staff is super nice and helpful. Nice to have experienced it once.

Te druk.te chaotisch te rumoerig...meeste eten stond niet bij wat het was....drie weken vantevoren gereserveerd en om een rustige tafel gevraagd.....werden in een hoek gezet in het donker bij een verzamelplek van vuile vaat...nee niet meer voor mij..

Not as tasty and good as "Eten en Zo" but excellent food and lots of choice, including drinks. The restaurant looks quite good in terms of decor. But the whole thing looks dirty and messy. There was a lot of mess, especially around the serving tables, next to the plates and on the floor. The cleaning staff cannot do anything about that (they really try very hard), it is up to the public. In terms of audience it seems like you are in the KFC or a sisha lounge. I have heard someone shout in a compelling tone at least 10 times "I MUST have halal!!" I don't regret having been here, but I won't be back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone on my own.

Delicious food, a bit of everything

Excessive salt and oil in food. There is plenty of choice, but the taste is disappointing. You come here for the quantity and not for the taste. Hygiene is not in order everywhere. Tables can be cleared more quickly. We have been here before and it was good. After this last experience we will not come here again and will go to another restaurant. We think the price is really not worth it for the quality offered.

Nice restaurant with a wide selection. In terms of service, it is quite good to very good. The entourage is neatly arranged to create an atmosphere.

Meat is served with the same spoon, so pork, chicken and all other meat. It's a shame if you don't eat it, but you do come into contact with it. Furthermore, the food was tasty, although less so this time. Desserts were delicious.

Unfortunately not that tasty, many hot dishes were not warm enough. A burnt hamburger on a bun that you could punch a hole in someone's head with (so hard) Too bad...but luckily the dessert and whipped cream were delicious.

01-06-2024 Far too busy, looks a lot like a full discotheque. Not much parking space due to the crowds of people there. Containers of food were empty quickly. For €45.95 (2.5 hours) we experienced it as "luxury" poverty. A real foodie. You constantly hear around you: "sorry, sorry" because people bump into each other because it is way too full. That things haven't gone wrong there yet because of the large crowd...

Very friendly staff. Food good, atmosphere itself good. Lots of large groups, so a lot of noise and not very neat with the food. Had a nice evening, it's largely up to you.

Ate again yesterday. This is one of our favorite all you can eat restaurants! We have been coming here for so long and often. Really enjoy it every time! Nice location along the highway. So easily accessible. Free parking in front of the door. Nice restaurant with a nice interior. There is a nice atmosphere. Always busy. If you want something less busy, go for dinner at 5pm. Because around 1830 the hustle and bustle really starts. Staff very nice and friendly. You will be guided to your table. If you ask for something, it will be arranged immediately. So very customer friendly. And the food is fantastic! The only restaurant in the area where you can get unlimited hot lobster. My daughter and I love it. The rib eye and lamb chop are also recommended in the BBQ section. There is a lot of choice at the sushi bar and everything tastes good. The tenpanyaki for the fish is also very good. Large beautiful couquilles. There is so much choice at the dessert buffet. Also warm nights. There is so much choice in food and everything tastes so good. Something for everyone. Of all the world's cuisines, this is one of the best in my choice. That says a lot. We keep coming back here. This restaurant is definitely recommended for food lovers!

Concept was the same as every other world restaurant we had been to. Food itself was okay. Service and staff were terrible. The staff reacted very grumpily and absolutely did not take our surprise into account. Part ruined even though I had called them again 1 hour before our arrival and emphasized that they should take this into account. We don't go there anymore

Well-known concept, I have been to another world restaurant and also the water garden, which is a similar concept. The food is excellent across the board, better than the Watertuin, which has deteriorated somewhat, but it does have a high food content. It was way too busy and you sit on top of each other's lips, so freshly baked meat and wok require a very long wait, with people constantly bumping into you when you are sitting because it is cramped. Toilets 2 floors down stairs and the men's toilets were filthy and only 2 out of 5 were available. Many of the people who come there also don't know how serving spoons work. Just dig around in the bins.

I personally think it is very busy, long waiting times for stir-frying/meat, but it is still doable and very enjoyable with a group, the price including drinks is quite on the high side if you are not a very big eater.

If you have something baked it is tasty, if you want something like fries, potatoes or a snack then you are eating a cold meal, it is not even luke warm. An investment in good hot plates would not be an unnecessary luxury

Good food, usually no long waiting time for your food to be prepared. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant looks neat. But you have to realize that there are many hundreds of people and that they all walk together to get food. That's no problem, but don't expect to sit down for a romantic dinner for two.

Sushi was tasty, desserts too, but that was it. The rest was unpalatable. For example chicken was so dry satay was like water. Nowhere did it say what kind of dish it was. We had asked for a somewhat quiet spot. At first it was quiet, but after we had been there for half an hour, a group of 30 came and sat behind us. While there were still so many empty places where they could have placed us. The chefs were not friendly and did not speak Dutch or English. The waiters often stood in a group chatting and had none. Also for the customers. Not again for us

Fairly tight, less than a meter between the table where we sat, this was our first time here and it was terribly busy, no structure in the rows, everyone is pushing in front of you and pushing you aside. If you have a meat dish prepared, you have to be careful after 10 minutes that no one runs off with it because there is little supervision, the chef is much too busy with his baking tray. I waited in line for almost 15 minutes at that meat plate and during the preparation the rest was cold and my two hours were almost up.. Cappouchino not tasty, paid more than @40 euros and had three cokes Manager was surprised by my complaint.. Last time for me, I don't recommend this place based on my experience on Saturday April 13, 2024. I'll take a detour to eat and stuff, much better...
