What a lovely restaurant this is! The food was delicious and the most welcoming service you could wish for. Truly fantastic. And we didn't even forget umbrellas :-) But seriously: it was fantastic. Snails, fresh salmon, rosefish, and a fantastic vitello tonato. And all of that on a lovely terrace. Truly wonderful.

A really good restaurant with a cozy, charming terrace right in the middle of a residential street in Muiden. We had a delicious meal at an affordable price, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a repeat visit!!

A gem!! Delicious food (snail casserole beforehand, perfectly cooked cod and a chocolate cake with forest fruit ice cream). Portions are ample and reasonably priced. The atmosphere reminds you of a Mediterranean holiday. The staff are friendly and attentive. We enjoyed it and the visit is definitely worth repeating!!

Sunday evening, very busy. As a result, quite a few things go wrong. Including orders not placed correctly, cutlery not clean, orders that do not arrive and long waits for basically everything. The food tasted quite reasonable and was also reasonably priced, but that could be because the portions are quite meager. Maybe better on a quiet evening??????

DELICIOUS food. Nice friendly service. my recommendation is the chicken satay, and definitely have a cheese board afterwards!

Gawd! We must have had a lot of bad luck, if I read the other reviews. Ate here with 4 of us. I had shrimp croquettes beforehand: I didn't see any shrimp, but the taste was OK. Added a few wilted lettuce leaves with a strange dressing on top, clearly from a bottle, and lemon mayo that tasted like Dreft. Fried catfish as a main course. It was clearly not fresh, bordering on spoiled, overcooked, not properly cleaned (with lilting skin on it), just a tiny piece and lying in a puddle of oil. Added some fried vegetables that had not been done with anything other than thrown around the pan. A meager bag of greasy, overcooked fries per two people. On the other side of the table: two carpaccios that flew off the plate when the door opened; so economical. The taste was “quite OK”. And a goat cheese salad, also OK. My table companions also had steak with pepper sauce as a main course (asked if the sauce could be served separately, but they got it anyway). Cuisson twice medium instead of medium rare, not tender. And then a satay that was very tasty. For dessert, tiramisu three times: tasty but very sparse with (whipped) cream from a spray can, and vanilla ice cream with lawyer and whipped cream. Fortunately the boy who served us was friendly, the lady should find another profession. Let me give you one example: while clearing the dessert, she pointed at my plate without saying anything and with a rather angry face. That was her way of asking me to indicate it, instead of just clearing it out as it should be, or simply asking if I wanted to indicate the sign. When I said while clearing the main course that I thought my fish was very mediocre, I didn't even mention (because the dinner was offered to us by friends and I thought that was too sad for them) that I don't think it was fresh, but only mentioned the puddle of oil, he responded well. Unfortunately, that was all, except that I got an ugly look from the cook, who stuck his head around the corner. You understand: I will never eat here again! Three stars for the atmosphere, but they go entirely to our friends with whom we always have a pleasant evening, even though we are sitting on a garbage heap.

Just had dinner with my boyfriend and I ordered a quiche thinking it would be a tradicional one but was sooooo pleasantly surprised about it! It was covered in a cheesy sauce that was soooo good! Staff was lovely too

Never been but heard a lot from brother-in-law. Went along this X. It was certainly delicious food, friendly and quick service. First time snails... but delicious!! Portions just right in terms of quantity. Starter, main and dessert delicious and satisfying. Oh yes, Irish coffee as a final touch. Will definitely come back, thanks for everything.

Accidentally ended up in this restaurant. We had a very nice evening. A very friendly hostess with knowledge of the menu. The chef was also visible and friendly. We found the food very tasty and the atmosphere was good. Not too busy and spacious restaurant.

Weinig smaak aan de gerechten. Er werd door iedereen ruim zout en eventueel peper aan het eten toegevoegd.

Informeel, gezellig restaurant. Leuke kaart met voor ieder wat wils. Goede verhouding prijs kwaliteit. Mooi oud pand, inrichting houdt het midden tussen bruine kroeg en restaurant. Wij hebben er heerlijk gegeten. Beslist een aanrader!!!

Geweldig leuk restaurantje in een zijstraatje van Muiden superleuk stadje

Veel vis op de kaart, leuk terras, en lekker gegeten. De oudste vrouw in de bediening, volgens mij de eigenaresse, was het toppunt van efficiëntie in het opnemen van eten en drinken en miste daardoor wat hartelijkheid - maar desondanks toch een goede ervaring gehad 😀

Heerlijk gegeten. Goede keuken, scherp geprijsd. Wel enorme herrie: door te weinig stoffering, gaat iedereen steeds harder roepen.

Prima maaltijd op gezellig buiten terras. Bediening erg gezellig maar druk bezig!

Rustig gelegen café restaurant in het pitoreske Muiden. Zeer zonnig terras, met beperkte kaart maar bovenal prima smakelijke gerechten. De biefstuk, de garnalenkroketjes, en de mosseltjes zijn echt een aanrader. Vergeet de drukke zaakjes rondom de grote zeesluis, en loop een paar straatjes verder voor deze smaakvolle hotspot.

With a bunch of big, hungry -but civilized- rowers fresh out of a race finishing in the nearby beautiful classic harbour, this was a very satisfying dinner place. Quick and friendly service, no-nonsense menu, good food. We left as a happier crew!

Heerlijk gegeten met al mijn lieve collegas

Wat een bijzondere ervaring was dit. Voorgerecht was niet bijster. Hoofdgerecht was helemaal prima!

Angenehme und schnelle Bedienung. Gutes Essen. Für jeden was dabei und dabei noch günstige Preise. Kommen gerne in der nächsten Saison wieder. Vielleicht ein Tipp: Verzichtet doch auf die Papiertischdecken.

Heerlijk gegeten hier! Goed eten, goede sfeer, goede en vriendelijke bediening. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is 100%.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit einem sehr schönen Ambiente. Die Auswahl ist klein, aber genau richtig. Das Essen war fantastisch gut. Und die Bedienung war auch super schnell. Der Preis war - nach dem was ich in NL gesehen habe - sogar eher niedrig. Ein Besuch lohnt sich sehr.

Gezellig restaurant. Heerlijk gegeten, alleen jammer dat er per koppel een klein zakje frites bij het eten werd geserveerd. En extra frites moest betaald worden.

Das Essen ist lecker, das Ambiente nett. Die Bedienung wirkte an dem Tag sehr gestresst aber zum Teil dennoch sehr freundlich.

Wat een verassing, alsof je in het buitenland op een zonnig pleintje stapt! De ambiance en de muziek maakte dit gevoel compleet. Lekker gegeten en zeer vriendelijke bediening!

Uitstekend gegeten, maar helaas deden ze op de frieten bezuinigen. We waren met 4 en hadden voor 3 personen een hoofdgerecht besteld, maar kregen maar 2 friet ipv 3 friet. We hebben nog 1 friet besteld en deze stond extra op de rekening. We hebben ze hier over aangesproken, maar het antwoord was niet echt bevredigend. Jammer.

Een gezellig restaurant met vriendelijke bediening en een fijn terras. Lekker eten, ook voor vegetariërs. Prima keuze voor als je een bezoek brengt aan Muiden.

Dit kan echt beter! Als voorgerecht hadden we zalm, helaas was deze ver te zoeken. Wellicht hadden we het laatste restje of was de inkoopprijs te hoog. Bediening was traag. Biefstuk was gemiddeld.

Een fijn restaurant om even spontaan een hapje te gaan eten wanneer je weer eens geen zin hebt om te koken. Het is geen culinair hoogstandje maar vriendelijk geprijsd voor eenvoudige maar lekkere gerechten. Personeel is ook altijd vriendelijk!

Werkelijk heerlijk gegeten‼️ En voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. De uitstraling en inrichting zijn wel hard aan een upgrade toe. Zeer vriendelijke bediening.

Wat een leuke stop terwijl we onderweg waren. We hadden veel file en wilden ergens wat eten, maar geen wegrestaurant. De eerste hit op google was restsurant Gieling, even doorzoeken gaf me geen beter alternatief. We zijn hier hartelijk ontvangen in een gezellige sfeer. De dame van de bediening erg aardig en het eten was heerlijk! De prijskwaliteitverhouding is heel goed (het zou zelfs best iets duurder mogen, 17,50 voor een hoofdgerecht is niet duur). Helaas was het weer niet zo goed, dus we konden niet op het prachtige terras zitten. Ik kan dit restaurant echt aanbevelen!

Kleine porties. Voorgerecht minimaal. 3 stukjes zal en salade 6,50. Nog niet de helft waard. Jammer.

Fijne plek met goed eten voor een goede prijs.

Matig. 3 sperciebonen en 2 reepjes paprika als groente. 3 kleine puntzakjes frites voor 8 personen. Garnalenkroketjes waar de garnalen uit gezwommen zijn. Slagroom op het toetje uit een spuitbus, dus al helemaal ingezakt. Biefstuk wel goed van smaak.
