Great food, very friendly service and attractive ambience - we'd love to go back!

A very cozy restaurant with good service and a nice atmosphere. I come here almost daily and have never been disappointed with the service, atmosphere or food/drinks!

I don't actually come to Heerenveen very often, but I happened to be here for a company drink. But what a fantastic Grand Café with a fantastic, large terrace! The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back with friends and family :-)

Very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food was delicious.

My table companions had a good amount of food but for me the bread with warm goat cheese was a bit meager. A lot of lettuce/vegetables and for 2 sandwiches 1 slice of goat cheese. This slice of goat cheese was not enough to be able to put the goat cheese on both sandwiches. I thought the amount I got for the price of 14 euros was not in proportion to the amount of food my table companions got.

It was very cozy. The staff was very busy, cheerful and fast despite the very hot weather last Tuesday. Super service and the food is perfect

Delicious food. We took the €52.50 menu. Delicious starters and your own choice of main course. The types of desserts were also great! Very good service and incredibly nice service. We will definitely come back.

Some time ago I visited the General Court with my sister and Beppe. It was a fantastic place to enjoy a drink and a snack on the terrace. I'm especially a fan of their grilled chicken!

Went twice for lunch with family during my visit back to The Netherlands. Had the warm goats cheese salad which was delicious, large and with two slices of very tasty fresh bread.

I am prone to be quick to criticise. I am typically reserved in my assessment. I am not one to exagerate. I am here for work. I needed dinner after a long travel. Dinner at the hotel sounds good. Expectations were low. But...this is some of the best food I have ever eaten. I get around. I've done Michelin stars. But, damn this food is good. Every mouthful is a flavour bomb. So unexpected.

Very nice hotel. Lovely rooms (although the kids thought the bed was too firm) and in the middle of town. The best was the food. Great restaurant for anytime of the day and super breakfast.

Wonderful ambiance, very good service. We had the set menu that evening, and it was excellent. The starters were very varied, the main course was your choice of dishes, and then a delicious dessert. We've eaten here several times and would love to come back!

Had dinner on the terrace on King's Day. Good atmosphere and tasty food. The price was perfect and despite the crowds the flow was fine. Very satisfied, especially on a busy day like King's Day, a great success.

Busy but pleasantly busy. Even for our little one (6 months), her food was specially prepared and served. Even warming up the pot would have been enough.

We had dinner here on April 14. Was the first time for us. The hospitality was good and the atmosphere was fine. And the staff was very friendly. The food was also fine. So nothing to complain about. I'd say keep it up. And we will definitely come back. In any case, this restaurant is highly recommended to go to 👌

Sat in the conservatory. Was a little less cozily decorated than the decree of the case. Service fine.

It was tasty, but the apple pie was still frozen. Far from fresh, a shame for that price.

Delicious food. Super. The service is also excellent. We had a pleasant evening. A downside is that dogs are also allowed at the table. We had a dog next to us that kept barking. But otherwise great.

In terms of price-quality ratio, very expensive, but a nice restaurant. The soup was way too thin. Few vegetables or you have to order extra. Dessert very artificial. Vegetarian was decent.

A beautiful location with excellent food. The ambiance is also very good. It is not excellent to serve beer without a foam head and have an excuse for it. Just don't do it.

My new favorite breakfast spot. Nice location, pleasant background music, affordable breakfast. You choose your own breakfast from individual elements. Better than a breakfast buffet, quality food. I haven't eaten such good eggs benedict anywhere in recent years. Recommended!

Excellent and friendly service!!! Love for cooking shines through! About the only restaurant in Friesland where you can eat in both winter and summer with such an extensive menu for both lunch and dinner! As far as I'm concerned, Friesland is a culinary disaster, especially when it comes to being able to get a decent lunch somewhere during the winter months! As far as I'm concerned, a 10 for 't Gerecht in Drachten!

A beautiful building with an attractive interior, spacious. Delicious food, really good!! The employees were also helpful, friendly, hospitable and fast. All good ingredients to come back next time (and it wasn't the first time I was there!)!!

I ordered an ice tea and asked 3 times where it was, but after an hour I didn't get it until it was antisocial, it will never come again!

Nice place to have a drink or something to eat. Very nice and spacious terrace at the front. We ordered an aperitif with very tasty bitterballen here in the evening. Very friendly & smooth service. The breakfast was also very tasty.

Service was sometimes a bit too cursory.

We were at De Rechtbank restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner. The food was good but it was cold and that was not good. Very unfortunate. This actually made for a failed evening. Won't go there again.

It was a bit busy, some confusion with tables, which made it less cozy in the side room. But the service made up for everything and the food was delicious!

Had very good experiences here. Always friendly staff and the food is excellent. Please note, make a reservation in advance, especially during the weekend because then they can be quite full. The menu changes with the seasons, so you always have a choice of delicious food that suits the weather. They are knowledgeable and can recommend good wines and other drinks with food. It is a homely atmosphere with a bit of luxury. Definitely recommended to go!

Really good food here! I ordered plant-based dishes and they adjusted the side dishes (vegan mayo etc), great! However, my friend ordered his starter without cheese and it was included on his side dish (salad). But that was the only 'point', otherwise it was great!

Super cozy place and delicious food.

Had a nice New Year's drink with our department. We had the top floor at our disposal with seating, standing tables, our own bar and service. There were more than enough cold and warm snacks. All this together created a very good atmosphere and a successful drink!

Reserved a table for 5 and asked for a quiet place with comfortable chairs. Got a great place and all wishes were fulfilled. Food and drinks were great and staff were friendly and service oriented. I hope to do the same again next time👌

Christmas dinner in the Courthouse was a party. Festive and cozy decorated in a Christmas atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty dishes.

It took a long time before empty glasses were removed from the table (full ones were placed next to them) or we received a menu. Soup beforehand was lukewarm. Friendly staff.

We had a delicious meal, but it's a pity that there was almost an hour and a half between the starter and main course.

Beautiful decor and nice cozy atmosphere. Bottles of wine are opened behind the bar and not at the table....a bottle of wine should be opened at the table. Food is good and we had a good evening.

Had to wait quite a long time between courses. Sat upstairs and sometimes saw no staff upstairs. Main course was served in 2 parts, so the first group had already cooled down considerably before the second part and side dishes were served.

Once again we had a great meal at Het Gerecht! Staff were working their butts off this Saturday evening, so the corridors sometimes took a while to arrive, but we fully understand that. With the complete coffee dessert, we had already finished the coffee for a long time when the delicacies arrived again, but the waitress gave us another coffee free of charge on her own initiative. Good service! The staff does its best to put its best foot forward. All in all, Het Gerecht is still highly recommended!

Nice restaurant in the city center with a parking lot nearby. We stopped by for a quick lunch and it was very good. Egg Benedict is highly recommended! Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere.

The menu was adapted to the autumn season. Now there was a game stew on the menu. Together with a side dish of stewed pears, a delicious combination. Conclusion: nice evening with great service, entourage and excellent dishes.

Beautiful, tastefully decorated restaurant/bar, extensive menu with the prices you pay everywhere these days. Nice new controls, still takes some getting used to. Only point...the music inside could be a little quieter because you have to talk over it. So everyone does that quickly and noisy. Good food, good music by the way.

Wine quality mediocre. Steak was tough and the fries almost cold. In the vegetarian eggplant dish, and predominated among the ingredients. Very noisy, not a nice place to be. Too bad the post office is closed, it was really a lot better in all areas.

Delicious food, nice lively atmosphere. Although not a vegetarian, I opted for the eggplant. Very tasty, but what is often the case with vegetarian dishes is that the portion is much smaller than a meat dish. I missed the plate garnish that gives extra filling to a meat dish. Nicely resolved with an extra portion of (delicious) fries that was not charged.

There was a new menu, delicious food and our small points for improvement were immediately communicated to the service. We came from team dinner.

Just had a great evening with good food

The guinea fowl was delicious, but the melanzane was not very interesting. Furthermore, it took a long time before someone came to our table because there was only 1 person on the entire floor, but the service worked super hard and was very friendly!

Staff outing/High Tea at the General Court was well organized. Started with a bubble, fun and festive! All (dietary) wishes were taken into account and there was a lot of delicious food. Sandwiches, wraps, chocolate, yoghurt, scones, everything delicious you can think of was included. The only pity was that there were no pots of tea (or thermoses of hot water) on the table. Fresh mint and ginger, honey and many types of tea, that was great! Everyone has 1 (large) cup of tea. But it's still nice if you can get one more time. Furthermore, very well cared for, highly recommended!
