We chose three types of menus (tender Spare Ribs, tender Beef Steak & Lamb Steak) and everything (the marinade) was special and delicious! Friendly staff, nice restaurant..

Very disappointing, after the good reviews I felt like eating here. Pistols as a baguette, I ordered a cheeseburger, when I got my "cheeseburger", I looked strangely at what kind of dreary plate I got. You would expect a cheeseburger on a bun with some lettuce, if I knew this would be a cheeseburger I would have had it. skipped it, the meat was not fresh either. Dessert was a cheesecake, both of which were frozen and we sent them back. The restaurant is without atmosphere and old, wiring hangs loose above your head. While there were still guests, they threw a bucket of chlorine and water over the toilet floor without putting anything on a wet plate or the like. My 3 year old daughter slipped and all her clothes smelled after the chlorine, luckily she is unharmed The staff is very young and really lacks a helmsman. If you want to eat here, I would really think twice and read further reviews.

Had a great meal here tonight! Delicious tender meat, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Will definitely be back! Friendly service.

It had been a long time since we had been here, but once again we had a delicious meal here for the 4th time. Perfect spareribs and super tender piece of tenderloin. Nice service, and friendly owner was still there.

Ordered medium rare and received it well done. Sent back and then you get cold and completely raw. That's nothing, hard fries, lukewarm fried mushrooms. Frozen meat, I think. And they ask 84 euros for that (2 people). I didn't pay! The owner thought that was a shame. Yes, I too would have liked to eat well, but unfortunately it didn't work out!!

The food was excellent and the chef, I think the owner, was very friendly. A lot of meat dishes, but we knew this in advance. We found service and communication really poor. We were barely asked if we would like to order drinks. We were not told that we could make our own salad. We were also not asked if we would like to order dessert. When we pointed this out because they were busy tidying up and cleaning, the lady said 'still'.... I think they had quickly warmed up the cheesecake because it was ice cold in the corner and the dough was warm. Baguette with herb butter was not enough for two people. The main course of spare ribs for ladies was nicely seasoned and delicious with fries. The lights came on and went off for a while and it was made clear that we had to leave while this could have been communicated. I wouldn't eat here again purely because we didn't feel welcome here.

Awesome hidden gem in Heerenveen! Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Cozy but spacious! Unlike the other restaurants where they merge you in a small room like a bunch of sardines. Top! Owner was also very accommodating, servers were well-trained and friendly. Will definitely go back! Heck, I would even work here I think!

A very interesting Argentinean restaurant, in which the decor is made in the style of the wild west. It looks like you walked into a saloon 150 years ago. The creaking of wooden tables, cowboy hats hanging everywhere - perfectly complement the overall picture. A non-linear approach to salads. Here you can assemble your own assorted vegetables (in a special bar). Steaks are of excellent quality. I was a little surprised by the separate price for the meat sauce. In principle, you can look into this restaurant and decide for yourself whether it satisfies your needs or not.

Had a pleasant evening in this cozy Argentinian dining venue. Also, it was very busy when we were there. The carpacio was a bit watery and you could see and taste it quickly. Main course Surf and peat, the prawns were delicious but the meat came already cooled on the table, I said it was busy. The dessert, the damka blanka was a cup of ice cream with chocolate sauce, which could have been a little more delicious. We had a nice evening.

We were in a hurry but wanted to eat something quickly. We indicated this and our mixed grill was on the table in no time, although it was slightly overcooked, but it went straight back into the kitchen and quickly came back exactly how we wanted it cooked! Simmering and sizzling on a hot plate! Very tasty meat, but pricey at €45 per mixed grill. but definitely worth it. 3 pieces of beef. Nice staff and located in a nice street. They still have to practice on the pina colada cocktail 😉

Today we ate at Toro Pinto for the 2nd time and just like the first time, the meat was delicious again and everything was well organised! The meat is very tender and the service very friendly. I will definitely come back!

What beautiful pieces of meat they have here. Had a delicious meal with my wife, and the wine was delicious, haha. Super friendly owner too. I was last there years ago and it was quite a disappointing experience (including poor salad bar). But apparently a lot has changed in the meantime, really enjoyed it.

I really wanted wine, unfortunately I could only order a house wine by the glass, the rest was by the bottle so I had no choice. We had opted for mixed grill, but it said it included spareribs, but unfortunately they weren't included, which is actually our normal preference. Fries were limp and greasy.

Ate here three times, delicious steak and ribs. At first we had to get the salad ourselves, which was a bit strange, but that is no longer the case, the atmosphere is good and the staff is nice, so I will come back here again.

Nu voor de 2e maal hier gegeten. De 1e keer met mijn vader en nu met mijn dochter. Beide keren heerlijk zitten eten.

Na een lange rit onderweg naar huis, besloten ergens wat te gaan eten omdat het al wat laat op de dag was. Op Google naar restaurants gezocht en toen kwam Toro Pinto voorbij. Het zag er goed uit en dus op naar Achter De Kerk in Heerenveen. Voor de zekerheid nog wél even gereserveerd, je weet het tenslotte maar nooit rond etenstijd. De ontvangst was uitermate hartelijk en ook correct. De kaart was niet super uitgebreid, maar "more is less" is soms ook mijn motto. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en het eten was ronduit goed. Het is jammer dat ik net te ver weg woon anders hadden we er zeker vaker gegeten. Enige minpuntje wat ik kon bedenken was de stoel waarop ik zat, waarvan de zitting niet echt super meer was en ik, voor mijn gevoel, net iets te ver in de stoel zakte.

Eten ontzettend goed. Leuk dat de saladebar weer open is. Personeel nog wel erg jong en onzeker. Eigenaar altijd ontzettend vriendelijk, komt meestal ook wel even bij de tafel langs voor een praatje en stuurt de ploeg ook wel aan. Kom hier door de jaren heen wel vaak, vroeger vaak met mijn ouders. Leuk restaurant, maar toiletten zeer verouderd, deze zijn echt toe aan een opknapbeurt.

Lekker gegeten, echter bediening is vrij jong, mist een manager die ze coacht. Drinken (water) werd gebracht, echter geen glazen, fles wijn was niet open gemaakt, dus dat was op een droogje staan (even) ziet ze na excuus paar x langs lopen, nog steeds geen glazen, lege handen. Want niet hun wijk. Later gaan er 2 weg, dus bijna geen bediening meer aanwezig. Graag wel een x afrekenen. Alles moet je leren maar wel iemand die er goed op let. Personeel is moeilijk te vinden, klopt. Maar klanten moeten er geen dupe van worden. Maarja alsnog goed gegeten en ze waren superaardig. In de middag is super rustig in Heerenveen, in de avond, zaterdag, loopt het aardig vol. Zaak heeft zeker potentie.even de puntjes op de i.

Het is een klein restaurantje maar wat gezellig daar. Je wordt zeer vriendelijk begroet en geholpen door de medewerkers. En het eten is top.

Heerlijk gegeten, absoluut een aanrader! Zeer vriendelijk personeel, een goede menukaart en heerlijk gegeten. Wij komen zeker terug!

Heel erg lekker eten, super vriendelijk personeel, echt een aanrader 👌 we hebben Rib eye gegeten (echt een dikke 10),super mals en op smaak,.. stoofpotje,.. ook een 10 en zalm ook heerlijk.

Super restaurant, vooral voor vleesliefhebbers! Aardige eigenaar en de kok is ook top! Beste in Heerenveen naar mijn mening. En dat allemaal voor een zacht prijsje. Let op, pannetje met vlees is warm (al jaren voor de kenners)

Zaterdag 28 mei gegeten met z'n vieren. Vlees was lekker, maar frite en aardappelwedges is kinderportie... Gebakken champignons en uien bijbesteld en dit was extreem weinig !! 7 schijfjes champignons en een soeplepel gebakken uitjes €4,50...... Te duur voor wat je krijgt.

We konden nog snel terecht voordat de tent zou sluiten, de steak was prima, de patat vond ik wat minder. Maar erg fijn dat we toch nog even snel wat konden eten!

Buen servicio , y muy buena comida , un lugar para ir con la familia , amigos o con tu pareja.

Erg lekker gegeten, vlotte bediening. Tot de volgende keer!
