Italia Caffe lunch en dinner in Wijk 01 Heerenveen

We had another delicious meal in a quiet setting with an extensive menu of affordable Italian dishes.

I don't know what happened to this pizzeria, but until recently it was good and had normal portions. What I got this time is ridiculous. Half the pizza is just crust without any toppings. I ordered an antipasto for two people, but the portion is so small it looks like it's for one. And you pay about €2 per mini slice of meat. I feel ripped off. It's a shame, they used to have a great time here. 2 stars for the taste; with normal portions, it would have been at least 4 or 5 stars.

The pizza was nothing special. My tips: toast the pine nuts briefly, use a little less cheese and make the base a little crispier

Yesterday evening we had pizza here in this nice atmospheric Italian restaurant. The pizzas are generously topped and the base is deliciously crispy. We didn't like that the bread that was offered with the tapenade was expensive, while we thought it was on the house. They also charged money for a carafe of water. Too bad...

Great place, we came in just before opening cause we had evening plans... No problem at all, most friendly and helpful staff serving us delicious pizza. The amount of choice was stunning and took me a while to decide! I personally can recommend the Carbonara pizza! One year later, The service is still great. Didn't make reservations but they had a table available. So I would recommend making a reservation in advance, place was full which I get. The pizza is really nice. Upt the food star to 5. Will go back when I'm in the neighborhood

Delicious food and friendly staff!

We sat and ate very nicely. The taste was very tasty, but I had to ask for a bowl of lettuce, which was simply missing. I thought the plates looked rather meager with only fish and 2 mini tomatoes. The dessert, the limoncello tiramisu, was delicious! But when I look at the bill we ate for almost €50.00 pp. That really shocked me! I probably should have ordered a pizza there....

We were able to make a reservation for 25 people at very short notice, and it was perfectly organised! A truly top team at Italia. The food and service were superb!

Normally I don't share bad reviews, but this time I'll make an exception. Half an hour after eating moderately, we both had diarrhea. The starter was mediocre, fried Italian snacks, so you expect something Italian, the cheese sticks were empty, the cheese balls were hollow on the inside and probably deflated and broke apart when biting, causing you to get badly burned. The homemade pappardelle was partly firm and partly still hard, after waiting an hour for the food, with the explanation that this pasta had to cook for a wonderfully long time. Very good, service, tiramisu and drink afterwards. But unfortunately I won't be coming here again after the hellish night. Too bad, I never had any problems with the collection.

Had a lovely meal here with 2 good friends on a Friday evening. It is immediately noticeable how streamlined things run here, despite the massive crowds. Compliments for this to the attentive hostess Anja and her staff. The interior and building would not look out of place in an Italian town. Food is unmistakably freshly prepared, well seasoned. Menu is nicely balanced, no craziness or excess. Excellent wine, beer and dessert selection. Reservations are recommended. We would love to come back.

De Lasagna Spinaci is erg lekker en de Tiramisu was precies wat ik er van had verwacht. Heerlijk!

Heerlijk eten daar en geweldige bediening

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse. Het eten was uitstekend voorbereid door de kok! De pizza was heerlijk en de pasta was perfect!!

Heerlijke biefstuk gegeten met champignons en gorgonzola roomsaus

Pizza's waren okay alleen de spaghetti carbonara was echt te veel saus en niet zo heel lekker van smaak . We moesten wel lang op het hoofdgerecht wachten een uur en dat zonder voorgerecht .

Pasta pesto 14 eur pp , maar stelde niks voor leek gewoon of je pasta uit de supermarkt koopt en een potje kant en klare pesto door geroerd is en wat pijnboompitjes op gestrooid is. De rucola er bij in een zakje maar was ook niet echt vers naar mijn idee , nee had er echt meer van verwacht.

Jammer dat er 1 pizza te weinig bezorgd werd, maar die werd er al snel achteraan bezorgd. Verder waren de pizza's heerlijk!

Heerlijk gegeten op terras achter de zaak. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding prima. Tagliatelle Salmone is echt een aanrader.

Ik vandaag piezza en lanzanja besteld het was heerlijk . Beste mensen ik zou als ik jullie was allemaal daar je eten bestellen. Itaia fantastisch personele vriendelijke mensen. De volgende keer haal ik weer eten op. Een dikke 10

Heerlijk gegeten voor een goed prijsje. Je kunt zien dat het vers bereid is en dat er met aandacht en liefde gekookt wordt. De zaak heeft sinds onze laatste keer een opknapbeurt gehad en je kunt hier zo wat uurtjes gezellig en lekker zitten. Modern interieur en gezellige knusse hoekjes zodat je privé zit. Mooie vaste kaart waar je na tig keer eten nog steeds iets nieuws kunt proeven. Voor ieder genoeg wils. Het personeel is erg gastvrij en vriendelijk. Geen vraag te gek ;).

Het was niet enorm druk in de pizzaria, maar alles duurde wel heel erg lang. Het voorgerecht (stokbrood met kruidenboter) hadden we na 45 min nog steeds niet...oeps vergeten... En de totale duur voor 2! pizza's was maar liefst 1 uur en 20 min!! Zou er niet zo snel weer naartoe gaan.....

Pizza's besteld via hun site, service was een beetje laat maar de pizza's waren heerlijk! En geweldige kok die daar in de keuken staat! ga er weer bestellen!!

Heerlijke mosselen, gebakken champignons en een rijk belegde pizza gegeten vanavond! De broodjes waren in hartjesvorm vanwege Valentijn, leuke detail! Aardige mensen bij afhaal, aanrader!

- Trage service - Stugge eigenaresse - Pizza was niet goed, smaakte erg raar. Werd wel aan de kok verteld. - Personeel leek niet echt te weten wat te doen. Slechte structuur. + Vriendelijk personeel!

In questo locale ho trovato una gentilissima e cordiale proprietaria. La figlia è una ragazza stupenda. Ogni tipo di lingua viene parlata perfettamente. I cibi sono gustosi, cucinati molto bene e le portate sono abbondanti. Le pizze sono buonissime e molto ricche! Consiglio vivamente di passare a visitare questo locale. Tutto il personale è molto socievole, il pizzaiolo è veramente in gamba! Un tocco di Sardegna nelle portate....da 5 stelle! Complimenti per la professionalità dell'intero staff.

-Eigenaresse is een beetje bot, +ander personeel prima, +pizza's waren lekker, +prijs prima, -toetje vond iedereen naar parfum smaken ipv bananensplit. Toen we dit meldde, werden we afgesnauwd en het werd niet van de rekening af getrokken

2 x besteld eerste keer was de lasagne prima maar zat er in de pasta van m’n partner een stuk metaaldraad. Na wat heen en weer berichten toch uiteindelijk het gehele bedrag terug ontvangen en excuses. Na aantal maanden vandaag wederom geprobeerd pizza’s waren niet fantastisch maar ook niet vies groente was niet helemaal gaar op pizza. In de lasagne zaten keiharde zwarte verbrandde stukken die niet te kauwen waren. Hierover gebeld. Nu kreeg ik een onbeschofte reactie terug dat dit altijd zo is bij lasagne uit de oven ik hoefde geen foto te sturen de dame gaf aan dat dit normaal was en dat het prima was dat ik hiervoor een slechte review zou schrijven. Dus bij deze. Italia 2x en nu dus nooit weer!!

We organised at short notice my daughter’s 13th birthday party at this wonderful pizzeria/restaurant The Lady Chef/Owner could not have been more helpful and we had a fabulous time, so much do that a smaller group of us are heading back there tonight. Prices are very reasonable, our servers were efficient and they were very pleasant to deal with. Would wholeheartedly recommend this place for pizza or pasta, both of which were delicious.
