Restaurant "Hooge Graven" in Arrien

During a motorcycle trip, I stopped at De Bootsman for a cappuccino and apple pie. The terrace was lovely. The service was quick and friendly. A nice place for a stopover.

Affordable lunch dishes, including the meatball in its gravy, which was delicious. Two slices of bread and a small salad. Exceptionally friendly service. Clean restrooms and ample parking.

My wife and I dined here last night. After a very warm welcome, we enjoyed an excellent meal! We had a wide selection from the menu and plenty to eat. Not too much, not too little. The plates were beautifully presented. The restaurant itself has also undergone a fantastic metamorphosis. Cozy, modern decor with beautiful light colors. All in all, top-notch!!

Reservations recommended. On New Year's Eve, a menu was offered from which one of three dishes could be chosen. Very friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was nicely presented and simple.

We had a wonderful evening yesterday...a warm welcome from chef Gerard and owner Jan van Elburg, and the always friendly staff. The food was delicious and not expensive! What a fantastic evening! We'll definitely be back...thanks to Local 1832, everyone!
