We came here often when Hunker was still a restaurant, and we always had a delicious meal with great, personal service. We have also been to the wine café and it was again perfection. Delicious snacks and wine (still sad that they no longer have a restaurant, but we certainly enjoy ourselves here ;) ) In one word AMAZING!

Beautiful ambiance, very good wines with appropriate advice and explanation, accompanied by good quality snacks. Highly recommended!

Vandaag met mijn partner een heerlijke avond gehad bij Hunker. Geweldige uitleg over wijnen, mooie opbouw van de wijnen die we kregen. De hapjes waren perfect in balans met de wijn. Een aanwinst voor Sittard! Top!!!

Cozy atmosphere, lovely ambiance, cheese platter: we opted for the 5 cheeses from the drinks menu, the amount was really too meager, more like a dessert after a 4-course meal.

We had a delicious lunch with accompanying wine on Easter Sunday. Luckily, we were given the menu to take home afterward, otherwise I wouldn't have remembered what I'd had. Great service and a cozy atmosphere. It was fantastic!

Een vier gangen lunch gehad bij Hunker. Lekker gegeten echter de gerechten waren niet verassend. Totaal cijfer een 7. In vergelijking met andere restaurants van het zelfde prijs niveau vond ik dit de mindere.

De oude binnenstad van Sittard is een bezoek waard en daar zit ook Hunker. Reserveer op tijd. Mooie inrichting en prettige ontvangst. Het 5 gangen menu was heerlijk met alle amuses en geweldige wijnen. Oesters en charcuterie als extraatje en zeer voldaan naar het hotel. Echt gaan en zeker als je wat te vieren hebt of een bijzondere avond met culinaire standjes wilt! Top! Dank Jeroen en Lieke!

Om een verjaardag van mijn schoonmoeder te vieren zijn we uiteten gegaan bij restaurant Hunker. We hebben gekozen voor een 5-gangen verrassingsmenu. Van amuse naar voorgerecht via hoofdgerecht naar dessert… het was allemaal verrassend. Een perfecte combinatie van smaak en geur. Een zeer persoonlijke bediening maakte de avond perfect! Had dinner here for the first time last Saturday. What a tasty feast it was! Not only was the food excellent, but also the service, just the right attention but not over the top. We will definitely come back here more often to indulge our taste buddies!

Great, highly recommended. Fantastic surprise menu, good wines. The best was the sweetbreads, rarely eaten such sweetbreads, truly a work of art. And then something simple, an espresso, which you hardly get anywhere. All in all a great one. Gladly again.

Unfortunately, it was only our first visit, so we'll have to do something to compensate for that: what an experience! From the moment of entry to departure, it was an above-average pleasant experience that was reflected not only in surprising and tasty combinations of dishes and drinks, but also by the friendly and competent service and the personal attention that everyone received. Everything was just fine, including the atmospheric music from the Sonos installation: we will visit this more often!

5 big stars! I have just written an example of the entree 3: When I closed my eyes I imagined myself at a food truck festival, all around me I see green eggs. The smokiness, the ingredients of a typical hyped dish from the past 5-10 years, short rib, corn and coleslaw, but at Michelin level. What a class! The different flavors went together perfectly and everything combined like BBQ heaven. This is the name I would like to give to this dish. Fantastic class extremely professional restaurant. Service was 10/10.

Had a really delicious lunch with the Hunker team this afternoon. Four courses, started with bubbles and oysters in between. Appropriate choice of wine and concluded with a delicious cheese board and cup of coffee. As always, hospitality came first!

Rarely eaten so well. The creativity of the chefs is sensational. The service is better than in some star restaurants. Natural, warm, unobtrusive. Many thanks to the Hunker team for the Hunker menu.

We thoroughly enjoyed an evening-filling program at Hunker. Great quality food. Started with an aperitif from wine castle Genoels - Elderen (Riemst) with bubbles (black pearl Brut). Nice start! Then some excellent appetizers: what beautiful colors and even better the surprising taste sensation in the mouth. Chosen for the matching wines per course (Bulgarian white wine, Austrian white, a white Rioja and a South African red wine for the 4th course) and with the dessert (cheese board) a tawny port of 10 years. The chosen 5-course menu was truly sublime and here too surprising flavor combinations that caressed the taste buds. As a digestive, a sublime grappa with some frisndises to end a great evening. Service very attentive and service-oriented. Top restaurant and definitely recommend it to everyone.

If you have some money left and you want to spend it on top food in a super ambiance, then you should definitely go to Hunker. The restaurant is nicely decorated. We had a nice dinner. To our taste, the dishes were a bit safe in terms of taste sensation, not what we expected, but certainly beautifully presented. But we didn't think the price/quality was right. And not for us to repeat

Amazing... This was a so unbelievably nice evening. We were with family including 2 kids of 10 and 16 (though are used to eat, taste and try very varied). From the appetizers to the courses to the wine (for adults) to the non-alcoholic drinks to the cheese... all so very tasteful, and like little paintings on a plate. Staff is extremely nice.

Had a great evening at home with Hunker@home. This luxury dinner box was taken care of down to the last detail: clearly and clearly packaged (and environmentally friendly!), fun and personal explanations on paper and using videos and even an amuse, friandise, flowers and playlist were part of the box. But most importantly: super tasty and surprising dishes that could also be served at home in a restaurant-worthy manner with the help of the videos. We enjoyed it immensely! You can taste the love and attention of team Hunker in every detail!
