I came across this bus and its owners at a meeting of American cars. What they deliver in this bus is a special concept. Not only the concept is special but also the friendly service and the delicious "Italian base" pizzas. So you are literally sitting in an American school bus enjoying ...Pizza. Great! Friendly and helpful staff. Instead of the wine pairing, they offered delicious non-alcoholic alternatives. Enjoyed it! We've already been back. 😉

We came here often when Hunker was still a restaurant, and we always had a delicious meal with great, personal service. We have also been to the wine café and it was again perfection. Delicious snacks and wine (still sad that they no longer have a restaurant, but we certainly enjoy ourselves here ;) ) In one word AMAZING!

Recently had a bite to eat here with a friend. Definitely made the right choice! Let us tell you that the business has just reopened with a new owner. The ambiance and decor were absolutely great!! In addition, the same owner also has a cocktail bar less than a 10-meter walk away, where we had a nice nightcap after dinner. Both definitely worth a visit if you are in Sittard!

Now for the third time we have eaten at Sjmaak, we are full of praise for this restaurant, so tasty and friendly staff, definitely recommended 😋
