Tasty and good, and pleasant service. The buffet for the guests was also well taken care of. The atmosphere was cozy and, despite the size, atmospheric.

I only know it as a regular stop at the end of the many great bus trips from OAD and DejongIntra. Always a simple but delicious dinner. And a nice atmosphere.

Super tasty chicken piri piri. This is how you want chicken from your own barbecue! Don't forget to ask for extra piri piri sauce. Order bruschetta as a starter, it's really delicious. The service is top-notch; most of them are smooth talkers and they work hard. If you arrive early it can be a bit busy, but you never get the feeling that it is too crowded. A go-to spot for a nice and cozy dinner.

We had dinner at Juffrouw Tok Didam yesterday with 24 family members, to wrap up the weekend. The stars speak for themselves. The service/staff was unfriendly, and even after a waiter knocked over the hot chocolate with whipped cream on the table, there was no apology, but a tea towel that he threw on it. They still need to learn how to clean. Furthermore, we don't have a high opinion of the food. The piri piri certainly didn't look like piri piri. The meat of the chicken piri piri and the spare ribs were well cooked and tender, though. However, both dishes were somewhat blandly seasoned. Little to no salt... and no salt or pepper on the tables either. And to liven up the bland taste a bit, they could put some salt/pepper on the table. The fries looked like cardboard, were cold, and there was definitely no salt on them. And there was no salt shaker available. The spare ribs were also disappointing in terms of taste. Our daughters wanted to share some tips with you, but unfortunately, my husband had already paid the bill. Once is enough, but we'd rather not go again.

It was and took 2 hours before everything was served, very annoying indeed.

Everyone at my table and I were indignant that we were served everything one after the other. First vegetables, wait, then schnitzel, wait, then the fries, and when we had stacked the plates they brought us fried potatoes on top of that. It was tasty, but the coordination needs to be *much* better. We were the first bus to arrive at 5:00 PM, and after the soup, we didn't get the vegetables etc. until 6:15 PM. We had to leave for home at 7:00 PM; it felt so rushed, and eating everything one after the other is awful. A real shame. A letdown.

Too few staff for too many guests. The soup was cold and the quantity was not suitable for 7 people at the table. The same applied to the salad, fries, and baked potatoes, as those quantities were also not suitable for 7 people.

We had a delicious meal, it's just a shame that you have to pay extra for mayonnaise and other sauces. But otherwise very satisfied.

The buses return here regularly to eat, so the location is known to many travelers. Unfortunately, the food and service were a bit disappointing this time. The portions were on the small side and it took a very long time for the order to be brought. This is certainly not ideal if you are traveling with a group and have limited time. Still, I am not giving just one star. The company was pleasant and the atmosphere was fine, making the visit enjoyable nonetheless. With a bit more attention to speed of service and a better price-quality ratio in terms of portion size, this could be a much better experience. Hopefully something will be done about this, because the location certainly has potential. ⭐⭐⭐

The fries are too hard and the rest of the food is simple but acceptable.

They welcomed us and had everything well prepared, except for us. They didn't send us a reply after we had scheduled our appointment on the computer/website. That can happen. So we booked the appointment via the phone number. But when we arrived and weren't expecting us because everything was already full of people, we were placed somewhere afterwards. See photo. Because of this, we actually had to make a quick decision and there was nowhere else we could really go with a family of 5 men and 3 children. We did sit down, and we were hungry, so we just wanted to enjoy the day? The food and drinks were brought late every time. When we mentioned it, they tried to justify themselves and weren't very professional. It's a shame because we came often and were always treated well. If you make mistakes, you have to make amends with customers; unfortunately, they didn't do that. My mother basically had a Mother's Day that was nothing.

Returned here after a 6-day bus trip, where a 3-course dinner was served. The food was delicious and diverse, with various vegetables and tasty. The large hall with so many groups was noisy. Otherwise, it was well taken care of and we had a delicious meal. Food was served quickly and the service was top-notch. It was nice to have a bite to eat like this and end the trip before the drive home.

We were waiting for a bus change. Coffee and tea were weak.

It was quiet for a Saturday evening. The food was a bit disappointing; it was plain. The chicken was very dry, and they didn't make anything special with it. The presentation of the plate and the side dishes weren't something I'd come back for.

Fantastic! We had a delicious meal with family, the staff were very friendly! The seating was comfortable, but we found it a bit too dark in the restaurant.

Last Sunday, my family and I celebrated my 75th birthday here. We were all seated at a long table (18 people). A fake fireplace created a pleasant atmosphere. We were there from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM and had a wonderful afternoon. We were the only ones there except for one other couple until 4:00 PM. The service and food were excellent. The children had a blast in the ball pit. The only criticism was the dark room we were in. This is written truthfully. Jan Peters.

What a terrible evening! After having eaten here several times and being very positive about the atmosphere, food, and staff, last Friday was a huge disappointment. We had made a reservation for lunch, but upon arrival, it turned out the reservation was unknown. When taking our order, the lady misunderstood whether we wanted the soup after the chicken. Not once did the lady have time to ask if everything was to our liking, nor did she have time to ask if we wanted anything to drink. She was too busy with a table where her friend or colleague was eating. The ice cream, a sorbet, was inedible, as if it had been prepared the day before; the ice cream was completely crystallized. When we paid, we were even called liars after I told her I hadn't enjoyed our visit. Too bad, but no more Miss Tok Didam for me.

As a participant in an organized and paid Achterhoek tour, I didn't get lunch today. According to the owner, we were an hour late. I think 1:30 PM is a perfectly good time for lunch. We weren't told about a deadline. After all, it was a tour, not a rally. A shame for Miss Tok's own bad publicity.

The place has a great atmosphere, but the chicken was small and dry. Their policy on ordering food is unclear. The manager was very rude when we asked about the burnt potatoes and told us to enjoy what was on the table, without paying attention to our comments. I do not recommend it at all.

A real chicken restaurant. The food is delicious. The portions are good. If fries are automatically included, make a menu a bit more expensive and then add mayonnaise without paying extra.

You get a lot, but it's dry chicken with little flavor. The staff doesn't clear away empty glasses, bottles, or bread baskets and just throws everything on the table. I requested a quiet spot beforehand, but that wasn't granted. Not going back!

The food was decent. The sandwich was very tasty. The steak, despite being cooked well, was still dry. The fries, salad, and stewed pears were delicious. The staff worked hard. They still took the time to ask if everything was to our liking, and we regularly requested drinks.

Super delicious food here with friends! Delicious tender chicken. Really recommended. With a kids menu you get a coin with which you can choose a gift. And there is a nice play area with a ball pit for the kids.

Het was eens maar nooit weer. Nieuwe bedrijfsleider maakt er een potje van. Beter ergens anders een kippetje eten, bijvoorbeeld van Hal. Lekker en met liefde en toewijding bereid, dit is totaal afwezig bij Tok in het geliefde Didam. Het bezoek tijdens de schuttersfeesten is niet voor herhaling vatbaar, drama!

Only had food poisoning just don't know what it was in my wife had chicken piri piri I only had chicken with fries and geography requirement maybe that's what it was in I didn't eat anything else during the day. But yes it tasted just it was for our wedding day and Friday Saturday lay flat with stomach pain throwing up and in the ....... line

What a great organization, receiving so many bus passengers at the same time and providing them with a 3-course meal, there are not many restaurants that can still do that well. At Juffrouw Tok, that is possible to full satisfaction, Chapeau!

If you order chicken piri piri you get a lump of chicken on top of each other without sauce, nothing. And fries? Just get it. The steak is just as tough

Always good, honest and fast. Anyone who likes chicken should definitely eat here. The other dishes are also recommended, but I prefer a large plate of piri piri chicken.

Super tasty food at Miss Tok in Didam

Ruime en voldoende parkeerplaatsen rondom dit kip-restaurant. Wil je een hapje eten tegen een redelijke prijs dan ben je hier op `t goede adres. Verwacht hier geen culinaire hoogstandjes. Prijs/kwaliteit is goed. Vaak hoor je van gasten die hier geweest zijn, dat `t binnen zo donker is. Dat ervaar ik ook. Veel gezinnen met kinderen komen hier.

We always come here when we are in the area. You get your food quickly and it is of good quality. Because we arrive a little later, most people are almost going home, so you can eat in peace.

Great restaurant, especially for children. Chicken is good and plenty of it, but steak is also recommended. In short, back next year with the whole family 😂

We eat here about twice a year. We ate well again yesterday. If you like chicken and delicious fries, you've come to the right place. You should not eat here if you expect luxury and culinary excellence. Friendly service. The soups are tasty, desserts are mainly ice cream choices. the children can play in the ball pit. The play area is a bit further away from the restaurant. There is not always someone present. On your birthday you will receive a discount card and you can save for a discount with stickers. Downside: where we sat it was way too dark. Then it is no longer pleasantly dark but too dark ;-)
