Great place, delicious food, and friendly staff!! Highly recommended!

We're French and had lunch at KB with Dutch friends on December 31st. The interior decor is superb, the staff friendly, and the menu is short but the products are high quality and beautifully presented. A great place in Dokkum for coffee, lunch, or dinner. 😉

A really nice restaurant where I love to have lunch with my family. I recommend the Philly cheesesteak, but the menu is so extensive that there's something for everyone.

Had a wonderful High Tea here. The staff were incredibly cheerful and friendly; no question was too much trouble, and they were happy to help. And the interior decor, wow! If you, like me, love lots of color and prints, you'll love it here.

If you love pink and gold, this is the place to be. I had high expectations for the food, based on the Google reviews, but I was disappointed. Some dishes were spot on, others were overcooked or tasteless.

Keep it up 😊 on the path to perfection! A thoroughly successful evening, even with two kids (5 and 7 years old).

Delicious food in Dokkum... Tuesday evening in Dokkum, where do you want to eat? The restaurants we chose were closed... so after checking out the restaurants that were open, we decided to eat at KB Food and Drinks. It wasn't a bad choice. I had a nice piece of meat (tomahawk) with some side dishes. And a tasty Dokkum beer. Delicious food, great service, we immediately felt at home. Friendly, open, and convivial atmosphere combined with delicious food, topped off with a Berenburger... which was a perfect ending to a good meal.

We discovered this concept restaurant by chance and were so impressed that we ate here every evening of our stay. The food was truly delicious, and there was something for every taste. The drinks selection was extensive, but I particularly enjoyed the beer from the local brewery as an aperitif. The interior was very attractive, with various table arrangements in a lovely, cozy atmosphere. Finally, a big thank you to the staff. The young people were highly motivated, warm, and friendly, not hectic, and always made our evenings enjoyable. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience with you!

Absolutely breathtaking food and the atmosphere couldn’t be better. My boyfriend and I had the triple meat/ KB burger, sweet potato fries, and the lavender creme brûlée. Do yourself a favor and get the lavender creme brûlée! We will be visiting again, I’ve never left a restaurant so full and satisfied

Please don't order any cocktails. They're not freshly made, but taste like they came from a machine. I paid €9.90 for them. Unfortunately, it brought a sad end to the evening. The service was very friendly.

Always good food and friendly service in a cozy atmosphere. However, the man at the cash register put a damper on the festive atmosphere. Unfortunately, he didn't understand the concept of hospitality. When he's not around, the restaurant is highly recommended and deserves 5 stars.

Last Saturday evening, I had drinks at KB Food & Drinks in Dokkum, and it was a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, perfect for a night out. What immediately stands out is the stylish interior – modern, warm, and decorated with an eye for detail. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. Although I only had a drink, it left me wanting more. A place where you feel welcome and where you'll definitely want to return!

De eerste indruk is heel goed: mooi gestyled interieur, leuke kaart met voor ieder wat wils. En natuurlijk de planken met een selectie van gerechten (Greedy starters, Greedy Mains).Zag er veelbelovend uit. De Greedy Starters waren redelijk, alleen de soep was lauw., Toen begon het wachten op het hoofdgerecht. Bij navraag na drie kwartier bleek: “Excuses, er is iets misgegaan”, Mijn vrouw kreeg een drankje van de zaak, aan mij werd niets gevraagd. 10 minuten later kwamen de gerechten. Ik had de kalfschnitsel, mijn vrouw Heilbot ( catch of the day). Ik vond de schnitzel ietwat taai. Misschien hoort dat zo, ik heb ze nog niet zoveel kalfsschnitzels gegeten, het vlees heft natuurlijk een andere structuur dan een varkensschnitzel. Groter minpunt was dat hij aan de vettige kant was en vlak van smaak. Ik heb de peperbus gepakt. De pepersaus was wel erg romig, maar ook die had wel iets meer peper kunnen gebruiken. Grootse minpunt waren de frietjes. Die waren erg hard, erg vettig, maar ook erg klein. Er zaten maar een paar mooie lange in mijn bakje. Het leek wel of ze nog weer even in de frituur waren geweest voordat ze aan ons geserveerd werden om ze weer even op te warmen.. Op de routinevraag .”was alles naar wens” hierop teruggekomen. De serveerster wist niet goed met dit antwoord om te gaan. Na een klein excuses wist ze blij te melden dat ze als bijgerecht “toch gratis waren “. Maar dat klopt natuurlijk niet…

We were in Dokkum by boat today and stumbled upon KB Ford & Drinks almost by chance. Great restaurant in a wonderful setting, incredibly attentive and friendly service, first-class food with delicious white wine. An all-around successful evening, highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back! Keep up the good work, a truly beautiful and fantastic restaurant!!!

Shared voorgerechten heerlijk verrassend. Shared hoofdgerechten zeer uitgebreid. Nagerecht paste niet meer. Wel jammer dat op het terras gerookt mag worden.

This time I had a healthy sandwich. For over 25 years? The best sauce and sandwiches in the region. Now with a spacious terrace and a new restaurant.

Had a tuna melt and falafel burger. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. The service was extremely friendly. The decor is very attractive, both inside and out.

A wonderful evening with delicious food! We had the tenderloin, and it was a great choice. We had the mustard soup as a starter. One minor criticism was that it wasn't very warm, but the flavor made up for it. A great team who understand their guests' preferences for dinner.

Well, it all started right from the moment we walked in! We were greeted spontaneously and warmly by two ladies and were able to choose a table. After finding a nice spot, one of the two ladies who welcomed us took her time to speak with us in a very pleasant and positive manner. She maintained this attitude throughout the evening (and she really needs to go to Cuba sometime for those pina coladas). I had the "small" tomahawk, and my wife had the two sushi appetizers. We hadn't eaten so well during our two-week vacation. The drinks were also perfect. The ambiance is loud, but because everything fits so well together, it also creates a sense of calm, a perfect fit. We had a wonderful evening, and not just because of the food. A fantastic experience that I recommend to everyone!

Incredibly bad. Tables aren't cleared (from those before us), you have to get the menu yourself, and the staff stands around chatting and never comes. On top of that, the acoustics are terrible. Feedback is ignored. We left.

I had to switch gears that there is such a trendy place in Dokkum, but when you walk in it is big, very atmospheric. Friendly service. The food was delicious. The pepper steak salad was really 5 stars. They also have their own beer, a beautiful blonde. They could take an example from this place in the city. What a nice experience. They also have a terrace at the back.

We arrived just after 18:30 without a reservation. We were told there was no room, while we saw tables free. When we came outside again, I checked the website. It turned out that I could still make a reservation for the entire evening from 19:00. I did that and went back. Then there was room. I made inquiries, supposedly someone had become unwell and that was why the table had become free. Strange because next to us there were 2 tables for 4 people free the entire evening. It is possible that you cannot accommodate more guests due to staffing, but just say so and then close the online reservation. Top staff, 2 young people, compliments for their service and friendliness. Delicious food (delicious tenderloin) It is very noisy, bad acoustics.

After reading many positive experiences on social media about KB Foods & Drinks we decided to make a reservation and eat here after our visit to the Sloopkeamer. What a beautiful place, friendly staff, delicious food and the waiting time was fine! Also with gluten-free/low food they thought along and the gluten-free bread roll with herb butter and mozzarella was delicious! So in Frisian "net stinne, mar hinne" Really recommended!

Booked in advance for lunch with my 76 year old mother. Upon arrival there was still one high table available with a bar stool as a chair. That was not an option, partly due to a knee operation. Little willingness to think along, eventually a table was offered but we had to be gone by 2 p.m. because of a private party, in other words you have to eat your lunch within 42 minutes. Very unfortunate, no cordiality and/or willingness to think along despite booking in advance.

One disadvantage I found was that the tables were almost against each other, especially when it was (rightly) completely full.

Here I celebrated my colleague's 40th anniversary with a high tea. Well taken care of and it tasted delicious.

Had a very nice lunch this afternoon with my husband and grandmother. The service was very friendly and the food delicious. There are two vegan lunch options, but I think the poke bowl with falafel could also have been vegan if the sriracha mayo were replaced with a different sauce. They have three plant-based milk alternatives that unfortunately cost €0.50 extra. The vegan pastry was also delicious, very nice to be able to eat a plant-based dessert! The music wasn't too loud. There is an accessible toilet downstairs, but the route there is quite tight for a wheelchair. There is also a very high threshold for the entrance to the restaurant, it would be nice for older guests if it was sloping.

Nice place to eat! Nicely furnished with friendly service. The dishes we ordered were served quickly and were very tasty! In summer there is a beautiful terrace at the back where you can have a cold beer or another drink from the extensive menu. Clear recommendation! 👍🏻

Reserved a luxurious high tea yesterday. I thought it seemed like it had been ready for a long time, and we missed a little soup, but otherwise there was enough and it tasted great.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times now. Last time the two of us ordered the “Greedy super sharing” and didn’t regret it. The cheesecake there - a dream. You simply can't avoid it when you're in Dokkum. We go there partly just for the food. The tastiest food in the area. Staff ALWAYS friendly. Atmosphere unusual and very cozy. And the Dutch love their life. Working on Kingsday and partying at the same time. Great :)

Spent a week sailing around Friesland and ended up at KB in Dokkum for lunch. This was so successful that we immediately made a reservation for dinner. We had a delicious meal twice in one day, with nice, spontaneous service and a good atmosphere. Highly recommended. Nice to share small dishes together!

Arrived in Dokkum by bike during the Elfstedentocht. Delicious dinner at KB Food & Drink. Nicely decorated place. Ceilings are worth admiring. We ended up there through someone else we wouldn't have found it. We had a Bonifatius beer because we were in Dokkum. Delicious. Tomorrow via Bartlehiem to Leeuwarden.

Wij komen uit de buurt van Amsterdam en dachten eigenlijk dat je voor hippe en leuke restaurants echt de Randstad in moest. Nou, niet dus, KB in het noorden heeft ons compleet verrast. Het eten was zó goed ! superlekker en origineel, en alles zag er ook nog eens mooi uit. Maar wat het voor ons echt bijzonder maakte, was het personeel. Wat een fijne sfeer! Iedereen was mega attent, snel en ook nog eens lekker losjes en grappig. Je merkt gewoon dat ze er plezier in hebben. We voelden ons meteen welkom en hebben echt genoten van de hele avond. Alles klopte gewoon. Dus ja, dikke aanrader. Als je in de buurt bent, of zelfs als je dat niet bent, ga hierheen. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Very nice place. From the outside it doesn't look open or nice, but when you open the door you see the atmosphere right away. An almost hysterical interior, in a positive way. Jungle in combination with cheerful colors, well coordinated. It is large, but has several smaller places so you don't get a massive feeling. Lunch was very tasty! And the prices were not extremely high. There is also a children's menu, toast was served with cucumbers. All in all a recommendation!

On the occasion of my birthday, my daughter took me to Dokkum for a cozy high tea in restaurant KB. What an atmospheric restaurant on the picturesque Keppelstraat. And what delicious things with the tea with fresh mint, ginger, cinnamon sticks, orange and lemon. And so beautifully decorated too... it's the details such as some fresh raspberries, an edible flower on the cheesecake that make it. Just like the great envelopes with organic tea. We enjoyed everything, the entourage, friendly service, the delicious sweet and savory things, the tea (and coffee... strange that you always get a huge craving for coffee during a high tea😄 ) and enjoyed each other's company... mother-daughter quality time 💕. Good paid parking right around the corner behind the restaurant, 1 to 2 minutes walk. And from here you can also walk into the cozy center of Dokkum.

Delicious food. Shared dining was great. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and nice shelves with beautiful dishes. Nice wine with it. It was just a downside😅 it was really more than enough because we couldn't eat it all😉 Definitely recommended!!

From the triple meat the chicken was badly burnt, really black and the steak was fried to the soles of a shoe. Dry and tough. They really shouldn't have served this dish. So black. This was the case with 4 out of 6 people. Cocktails are good

Dit restaurant is super gezellig ingericht! Leuke sfeer en heerlijk eten. Vooral de cheesecake is een aanrader :) Wij komen zeker eens weer.

Heerlijk gegeten. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en atent. Gewoonweg een Heerlijk avondje uit. Dit was onze eerste keer daar en dat gaan we zeker vaker doen.

Geweldige plek. Wij kunnen het aan iedereen aanraden. Wat opviel was de uitmuntende gastvrijheid en dat iedereen zo happy was. Het eten was echt heerlijk!

Fijne kaart, lekkere cocktails en goede bediening. Hippe tent, blijft lang gezellig druk. Tijdens diner wel erg druk, tent is erg vol, veel tafeltjes. Eten wel heel erg lekker en echt meer dan genoeg. Mochten we weer in Dokkum zijn, komen we zeker weer.

Everything was fine, fast and friendly service. But don't add whipped cream from a spray can with the apple pie, which dissolves quickly... very unfortunate... Other than that, great!

Geweldig ontvangst, hartelijk en welkom. Heerlijke high tea, combinatie van zoet en hartig. Hier wordt je in de watten gelegd en waan je je in een oase van gezelligheid. De smaakpapillen worden getrakteerd, alles is vers en zeer smaakvol.
