Lovely atmosphere, good portions, really liked the food. Tzatziki, baba ganoush and souvlaki were perfect for the two of us. 30% discount on the fork made it even more worth it.

We'd been here before and thought it was time for a return visit. The menu is interesting and offers a wide selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. As an appetizer, you can choose from cold and hot tapas. We each had one dish, and it was delicious. The main courses (chicken and sea bass) were very tasty. The white wine was also delicious. We'll have to go back for dessert and coffee. In short: highly recommended!

The food was good but not exceptional. My wife had the lasagna which was ok but we've had better. The chef tapas choice, six selections was mundane. None of the food was poor quality but I probably would not eat there again. The service however was excellent

A little Mediterranean treat in the heart of Amsterdam The restaurant exudes a positive feeling from the first moment, allowing guests to truly enjoy a moment of harmony and lightness. The menu is extensive, but not overwhelming. The lamb is truly delicious. The spices used are not at all distracting and are well-balanced. I absolutely recommend trying it. The final highlight is the honey dessert, which is definitely worth a try.

Excellent food and service. A menu which is perfect for a group with a variety of preferences. The lamb chops from the tapas menu were super tender, and you should definitely save room for profiteroles!

Good prices for amsterdam but the food was in general nothing special. We orded a pizza and different tapas.

They advertise themselves as a restaurant with gluten-free options, but they barely have any; they clearly don't understand the issue. We were only able to get a steak and little else. We asked for gluten-free bread, and they brought it by hand and placed it on top of the gluten-containing bread already on the table! We had to tell the waiter that this wasn't allowed due to cross-contamination and to bring fresh bread on a separate plate :-(

They're not careful with gluten-free food; they prepare it alongside food containing gluten, making cross-contamination easy. It's not very hygienic, and the service isn't very friendly either.

We started with the chicken soup and honestly, it was delicious! Rich, comforting, and full of flavor, exactly what you want on a cozy evening. We also tried the Angus burger and the lasagna, and both were spot on. The burger was juicy and well, cooked with great ingredients, while the lasagna was hearty, balanced, and clearly made with care. The service really stood out, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. You instantly feel comfortable here. The venue itself is beautiful, warm, stylish, and inviting, perfect for both a relaxed dinner or a casual night out. Pricing is very fair for the quality and portion sizes you get, which makes the whole experience even better. The hamburgers are homemade. The dumplings are delicious. They have a selection of dishes from Turkish cuisine. It's a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Very centrally located, the place is well-kept and very welcoming. The staff is attentive and friendly. We discovered this place by chance, and I must say we had a wonderful meal. Like all Italians, we chose pizza to share as an appetizer, and as soon as it arrived, it was already a hit! Excellent, and then our main courses were tasty and very generous! Their local wine was also excellent! Highly recommended.

Amazing food from various holiday destinations, large appetizers perfect for sharing. Great service, unconventionally Dutch, and the prices are more than reasonable. Just behind Leidseplein, it has a quiet, spacious, and modern interior. We'll definitely be back!

Went on a long weekender to Amsterdam and after enjoying an afternoon in a local Brown Bar my friends and I went for a bite to eat, (A sunday evening) Staff were very accomodating and happy to hoste 8 of us, menu choice was comprehensive and the 2 veggies amongst the party liked the food options too. Good Beer, wine options, food was delicious and great value for money, all in all a great spot within walking distance of the center and not too far drom the piano bar we ended up at. The food was very tasty, however, we were there with a large group and my burger was cold; it had been sitting at the counter for about 10 minutes. Several people also mentioned that the portion was too small, but otherwise it tasted delicious.

The food is delicious, but you can't spend more than two hours on a meal. It takes half an hour to order, another half an hour for the starter to arrive, and then another 40 minutes for the main course to arrive.

Food was lacking a bit of spices / taste compared to my other Mediterranean experiences. Also, the lavash mix was lacking a bit of meat for 34€. Only little shrimps as a source of protein (you can't compose the mix yourself). Sercice was good, atmosphere correct, nice location.

Lavash ended up being the only place I went back to in Amsterdam. The menu has a great variety, everything tastes super fresh, and the service is friendly. They even took my special requests without any problem — like switching veggies or adding extra chiles or pita bread. A must-try!

Had the lasagne, which was decent and prices are also reasonable. Service was good, till it felt like they were rushing me to leave. A waiter (different from the waitres serving) collected the dishes as soon as I took the last bite. Music was good though and food got to the table quickly.

Highly recommended restaurant, everything was delicious, service was excellent, and the location is in the Leidseplein area. Two adults and our three children, ages 15, 14, and 10, had dinner. If you like Mediterranean cuisine, this is a safe bet.

A beautiful and clean restaurant with plenty of seating and a variety of options. Friendly, neat, and helpful (menu selection) service. The price/quality ratio (taste and portion size) was excellent (especially with The Fork). Surprising appetizers, which we hadn't seen before (and that's saying something). All in all, definitely worth repeat visits.

Ate there for the second time, after being very satisfied the first time. This time we had the tasting menu for €34.00. It wasn't good: fried chicken fingers looked like something from a snack bar, fried squid rings were so tough, and the tzatziki didn't seem homemade. In short, a bad choice on the menu. After politely explaining that the food wasn't good, we were offered coffee on the house. We'll make a different choice from the menu when we land in Amsterdam again.

I visited the restaurant based on another review and honestly it lived up to expectations. Every dish was more delicious than the last. We had hummus, ribs, ravillo, and pizza. The prices are a bit high, but it's worth a try.

We went to the restaurant, placed our order, and waited for half an hour. When we told the waiter that our food hadn’t arrived, they said they would take care of it but instead brought us the check. Very strange! We had ordered lentil soup, chicken soup, and white cheese, but they couldn’t even serve the food within 30 minutes. It was very simple, and they couldn’t even bring the cheese, which they already had on hand. They didn’t admit their mistake or even apologize. We left without eating anything!!!!!!

We came here based on the reviews. We sat outside. The spare ribs were delicious, and the pizza was also good. The price for the food was reasonable. However, I find charging €4.45 for 200ml of apple spritzer very expensive. The large wheat beer cost €7.50.

I can't get used to Dutch food in Amsterdam, but I don't feel like having Chinese food either. Middle Eastern cuisine is just right. I ordered a chicken Piri Piri and pesto e pollo. The pasta sauce is appetizing, and the chicken is juicy with lots of gravy 👍👍

We were in the area and decided to eat there (they were the only ones open around 2:30 PM). The food was delicious and fresh. They have a mix of Italian and Greek dishes. You can sit inside or outside. The service is very friendly and fast. It's a real gem.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while we were looking for food. I checked it out and found it to be Greek. It's nice and quiet, with indoor and outdoor seating, and air-conditioned because it was hot that day. It's clean and tidy. When we got to eat, we ordered the Greek salad, which was delicious and had a full plate. We ordered lamb chops, which were very delicious and fresh, and smelled amazing. We ordered a mixed appetizer platter, as per the chef's choice. 6 types of bread were included. Among the types were delicious hummus, the most delicious baba ghanoush, a delicious yogurt salad, delicious cheese rolls, delicious fried shrimp, and delicious chicken strips. As for the main dishes, we ordered ricotta cheese and spinach tortellini, which was delicious, but not as good as the other dishes. The lasagna was amazing, and one of the most delicious lasagnas I've had. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and checked on you every now and then. The price was about 50 euros per person. The prices are good, but it's worth it. If I ever go back to Amsterdam, I'll definitely go back 👍👍

Family lunch, feeling like a tourist scam. We asked for a bottle of water and were only given four glasses for six people. Long wait. Average service. Expensive dishes for the quantity and quality of the ingredients. Proof of this is the mozzarella tomato, which is actually two cherry tomatoes cut in half. Disappointed.

It's hard to beat the location and atmosphere, but Lavash's food and service disappoints. It calls itself a "mediterranean" restaurant by including everyone's favorite hits. From tapas, mezes to pasta/pizza. And yet surprisingly (or inexplicably), salmon and ribeye steak. A charitable person would call this an eclectic menu. I would call it a gillnet for catching tourists. On to the food: the kebabs were good, but overpriced considering the portions; and no extra serving of humus or tzaziki to add to the lavash bread provided, so I ended up eating everything separately. My 8 year old son had the plain pizza "margherita". Man, what a real disappointment. It's hard to screw up something so simple. It tasted like a warmed up frozen supermarket pizza. Come on guys! Lastly, we waited over 40 minutes for the appetizers and again for the main. Drinks arrived late, and they refused to serve tap water (why?). Nobody seemed to care here. This establishment just treats you as hungry wallet - and boy did they enjoy extracting $$. On a positive note, I can't be fooled twice. Won't be coming here again.

We had the most delicious meal. We had the Lavash Mix and the Lavash Specialiteit. The Mix had 3 cold dips and 3 hot sides (feta roll, schrimp and chicken). The Specialiteit had 3 different types of meats perfectly seasoned and cooked, with veggies, rice and flat bread. We loved every bite. Highly recommend!

Probably the worst in the cuisine I have ever tasted - we ordered a chicken dish which was nicely plate but the taste was so bland for all the times, and the chicken was so bard it was barely edible. Flavorless and tasteless for a cuisine that is otherwise beautifully tasty (I think all places but this.) Think twice before going and not recommending it to anyone else

We ate here today by chance. A very cozy restaurant with plenty of space both inside and outside to sit and relax. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and shown to a table. The menus didn't take long to arrive, and shortly after, our drink and food orders were taken. The drinks arrived quite quickly. We had to wait an average amount of time for the food. The food was excellent, and the portions were more than sufficient. We had focaccia, pizza, and pasta. It all came at the same time and was truly excellent! During our visit, we were regularly asked if everything was okay, if we liked it, and if we needed anything else. Paying was also very quick; it took less than five minutes after asking for someone to come over. All in all, everyone was very polite and friendly, the ambiance is wonderful, and the food is fantastic! The prices were also reasonable. A bit on the upscale side, but definitely not too expensive. We definitely recommend it!
