The food was delicious, and the stress of choosing was much less than at the 7 Continents in Ede, where we regularly go. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was truly cozy. There's a large ball pit in the basement for the kids. However, I wasn't exactly thrilled with the location. Three laps later, amidst the enormous crowd of IKEA, Markro, Intratuin, and other customers, I finally found the right exit to the parking lot. It really feels different, and with a bit of stress, in such a huge and busy industrial estate.

Friendly staff, but the food leaves much to be desired

Had a wonderful dinner buffet with my family at Nieuwe Tijd. Beautiful warm ambience despite the crowd. Enjoyed the wide yummy spread of seafood, desserts and international food. Will be back again very soon.

Good food, top-notch chefs. It's just a shame that the cleaning started well before 10 p.m. At the tables, you almost didn't look away. The manager was friendly, though.

Great place, great play area for the kids. But if I've made a reservation for two hours, I want to be able to eat for the full two hours. And not be told half an hour beforehand that I can't eat anything from the baking sheet because they've already cleaned it. Dishes that are already set out are cold or dried out. Maybe because it wasn't busy on a Monday evening, but then you should serve less to keep it warm and fresh. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. I won't be back. Maybe I'll try again when it's busier, but for now, I wouldn't recommend it.

For an all-you-can-eat concept, this is a truly superb restaurant. They even have an exclusive corner where you can order à la carte dishes. The quality of the food is superb. Even more importantly, the hygiene of the staff, the freshness of the food, and the restrooms are truly excellent! And for the kids, they have a real play paradise downstairs with babysitting! And the (young) owner is a truly fantastic host who wants to make everyone feel at home!

I ate here with about 40 people...we had a cozy and delicious meal...it was great.

We were invited here for dinner. It's a lovely restaurant, but I found the food selection to be very limited (but then again, we're spoiled with restaurants that offer a huge selection!), but everything we had was truly delicious! Friendly staff.

The price-quality ratio is disproportionate. Standard all-you-can-eat quality. So, low quality food-wise. Lots of sauce/cream sauce on all the dishes, so you'll quickly fill up. It looked neat, tidy, and clean. Friendly staff. The à la carte dishes looked good but tasted terrible. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

We were there with a Dutch couple who recommended this place to us. We did the three-hour program. A bit pricey but very good. Simply fantastic, we'd go back anytime. It was perfect from start to finish. We'll definitely be back.

Good restaurant that we go to often. Just very noisy. Most people come here to rant and rave instead of having a normal, quiet meal. And the pan-fried shrimp isn't good anymore since they changed the topping to cheese.

Fine, nothing special, but fun with the kids

It was our first time. We had serious reservations because of the distance, but it was amazing! It's absolutely worth it. It truly deserves a 5⭐️ rating. The food was excellent, it was clean, and the service was friendly. You receive a very warm welcome upon arrival. A young man, I believe the manager, kept a close eye on the restaurant.

Most dishes are delicious and great value for money. They have a very wide selection and plenty of choice. Drinks are included (including beer), but wine can be added to your order for an additional fee (understandably). It can get a bit chaotic during peak hours, but what do you expect from an all-you-can-eat restaurant? There are some noisy children running around during peak hours; if you want to avoid this, book a bit later in the day and not during opening hours. However, they do have a sort of childcare/play area with cameras and a TV above so you can keep an eye on them while you eat. It's not the restaurant's fault, but the customers'. The service is truly excellent; the waitress and reception staff are very friendly and don't make a fuss if something isn't right. And the owner is always around to chat with customers (he's a very nice man). In short, excellent value for money! Highly recommended.

What a beautiful and charming restaurant this is. A truly fantastic concept with incredibly delicious snacks prepared to order, with a real eye for detail, finish, and class! I'll definitely be back!

Went there during a weekday; for years, it was a perfect restaurant in terms of hygiene and food preparation. That seems to be over. Dirty plates by the wok, vegetables not washed properly and still sandy, oysters initially absent, but upon request, they were brought, but not separated from the shell. Tuna and salmon appetizers were limited. But the biggest disappointment was the sole. For years, it had been juicy and well-cooked. This time, it hadn't been cleaned; a whole edge of roe was cooked along with it and it had been cooked for far too long. The fish was impossible to remove from the bone, even with a knife and fork. A real shame. The quality has significantly declined compared to a year ago. Nevertheless, it's quite cheap compared to other restaurants.

Vandaag gegeten bij Nieuwe tijd in Duiven. Ik zelf mag geen gluten eten maar dat is geen probleem bij ze. Eenmaal boven in het restaurant wordt je na je tafel gebracht en krijg je als je wilt uitleg van een kok die je kan vertellen wat je wel en niet kunt eten. Hij nam hiervoor echt de tijd en gaf aan als ik het even niet meer wist ik het altijd aan hem kon vragen. Ook vroeg hij of ik glutenvrij brood wilde en een apart schaaltje met friet. Dit werd dan apart gebakken en aan tafel gebracht net zoals aparte sojasaus. Al met al een hele fijne ervaring (niet omdat het eten lekker was maar ook qua glutenvrij aanbod) en komen zeker nog een keer terug

Very nice restaurant with good tasty food you celebrated my 9th birthday nicely 1 aug now I am almost 10 years old but then I will do something else but the child friendliness there is really very good large playground I am very satisfied see you in the summer holidays 100 percent oh yes it is worth the long drive if you go there!

I was disappointed. What was supposed to be sweet was salty, and what was supposed to be sweet was actually very sweet. The staff, however, was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

In pictures it all looks nice and tasty but that is different from reality at an all you can eat you are supposed to be able to take as much as you want with this one it has been very well thought out a lot of it is prepared per portion on a plate so if you want 5 you have to take 5 plates with you which is almost impossible otherwise the sushi is inedible it is also not made with real sushi rice there is no salad bar the desserts are very limited extremely few desserts here also there is 1 mini donut on a plate so you have to take multiple plates if you want more this is cleverly done that way people take donuts I have been to veeeeel many world kitchens but this one is not even in my top 10 sorry for me it is also the first and the last time the restaurant itself is very big but the choice is veeeeeeeeeeeeery small for us never again and the price is also much higher than the other all you can eat restaurants PERSONALLY I WOULD SAY FIND SOMETHING ELSE

Unfortunately too expensive to just go and have a light meal. More the idea of ​​paying a lot and then you have to eat and drink a lot. Had a lovely meal on Saturday night with a group of six. As a birthday boy, I was surprised with a festively decorated table with flags and balloons — very nicely done! The sushi was fresh and tasty, and the individual dishes were also beautifully presented. The salmon in particular was fantastic: soft and melting in your mouth. Even the fries were great — nice and fluffy and at the right temperature. The staff is friendly, attentive and cleans up quickly and neatly if something is spilled. It is also well organised for children: the play corner is spacious and well-kept. The restaurant itself looks stylish and luxurious — absolutely no 'feeding shed' feeling. All in all: we had a very nice evening. We will definitely be back!

A very large selection, yet still very tasty. It's not cheap food for the masses. All drinks are free, too. From the classic buffet to ready-made meals, there's everything you can imagine. You can also have your food freshly prepared in a wok or on a teppanyaki grill. The staff is very polite and accommodating. We'll be back!

Restaurant De Nieuwe Tijd in Duiven has far exceeded our expectations. We were even given an extensive tour upon arrival, which made the service extra personal. In short, De Nieuwe Tijd is an absolute must for anyone looking for an all-you-can-eat concept that distinguishes itself through quality, atmosphere and service. We enjoyed it immensely and will definitely come back!

Heel jammer, eten koud. Gezegd maar werd niets mee gedaan. Veel te weinig keuze voor geld wat je betaald. Ook toetjes buffet is minimaal. Maar het koude eten was wel het vervelendste. Wij gaan hier niet meer heen.!!!

Wow! First time here on Ascension Day. We were given a tour by the nice man who welcomed us and led us to the table. The man was up for a joke and after some personal contact he came back to ask if everything was to our liking. Very neat. The food was very tasty. Nice and warm, well cooked and was continuously refilled. I always like Dutch speaking staff, this was certainly the case. Such incredibly nice staff walking around here. It is out of my area, but we will definitely come back again!

Simply good! At most wok or world restaurants I often have the feeling that there is always a compromise on taste and quality. I have been to Nieuwe Tijd in Duiven more often now and I remain very optimistic. Everything is spacious, certainly compared to others. However, it can be a bit busy during rush hour if you want to wok something or have a Teppan Yaki, but the quality is good. We have 2 young children and the spacious play hall downstairs is ideal. Make a reservation, it is almost always full. Eat here once and you will come back more often!

Ate here for the first time on a Saturday. After paying, taken to the restaurant where a tour was offered. Extensive choice of buffet and live cooking, enough to eat for everyone. Staff is super friendly and hospitable, class! Atmosphere and decoration could be a bit more cozy but fine. For the children a large play hall for both small and larger children. All in all great! Small tip: the tiramisu contained hardly any coffee flavor. That can definitely be improved!

Celebrated my birthday with my family and friends.

Was invited, after a difficult period, to eat "there" such a great meal.. Had no experience with the restaurant, but super enthusiastic... But what a misery... The person who wanted to give me a nice evening, first wanted to pay a lot, and then at 7 p.m., dried out-cold-and already little choice, your plate is then emptied your fork next to the plate to have a conversation with each other, your plate, incl. food, is taken away from under your nose... Maybe that's a good thing, because it was inedible anyway!!!

A good restaurant, except for 2 downsides.... The food was excellent, lots of choice and beautifully presented dishes. Everything was very clean there too, including toilets.. Service was also fine. What we didn't like was that it sounded very noisy, high ceilings, so the sound sounded hollow and was too present. What we also found less or even bad was the extraction where we sat. People behind us often smoked weed and when they came back up, the stench followed, so we spent the entire meal smelling weed! We certainly didn't like that...

Perfect location, parking, the greeting, the food. A good concept, friendly service, really an experience and we will definitely come back.

The food was nicely prepared and looked chic. Your almost empty plate or glass was just not brought under your nose today. That was a bit annoying. We had a nice meal and a nice evening.

What great service this restaurant has! I have many dietary intolerances and contacted me in advance to ask whether this could be taken into account. That was no problem at all, it was handled very adequately and there was contact several times in advance. All you can eat concept in a beautiful modern setting. The food is what you would expect in such a concept, excellent and well maintained. There is an arcade/game room for the children. Waiting staff are friendly and professional.

Het eten is wel lekker maar het is echt een vreet schuur daar Druk en je kunt nooit alles proeven. Het tarief is enorm omhoog gegaan daar. En helaas inclusief drank wat je er niet uithaalt Helaas wij gaan bijna niet meer.

Simply the best buffet experience. I paid 49€ which seemed dear until I found out it includes unlimited drinks, including alcohol. You can get mains made to order. It’s the first buffet restaurant I’ve been to where the quality felt on parr to A La carte menu restaurants. I would highly recommend visiting if in the area. A unique experience

Topper onder de all you can eat restaurants Wij gaan regelmatig uit eten, dit restaurant is heel goed. Van kleine zalm pannetjes, Sushi, vlees en vis van de grill heerlijk! Voor elk wat wils Gastheer is ook super vriendelijk en gastvrij Alles is top, sfeer, eten en bediening. Ook de koks zijn zeer vriendelijk. We gaan binnenkort zeker weer een keer terug
