Delicious food at a reasonable price, we have been coming here for years, sometimes with family, sometimes just the two of us.... lovely people

This quickly became my favorite restaurant in Haarlem. I ended up there because I was in the area. A pleasant welcome, nice people. Prompt service, which I appreciate, and super delicious dishes from traditional Italian cuisine. I almost lick my fingers clean. I like to choose the smaller starters, which are all delicious. The brothers' surprise dessert was like a beautiful painting, and the ice cream was so beautifully decorated with flakes and the like. I love the tranquility of the restaurant, which is located outside the city center. You can park your car at the Albert Heijn nearby. That is about a 7-minute walk away.

I've lived near this pizzeria for a long time and only just discovered it. Really tasty vegetarian pizza with delicious extra arugula. Picked up the lasagna today, also very good. Friendly owner and good vibe.

I make much better food myself. I'd read it was good once! Hopefully, they'll hire better chefs again.

Upon arrival, we encountered a grumpy waitress. Not at all friendly or hospitable throughout the entire evening. The table was so greasy, it was a real mess. We had expensive tagliata di manzo, which was overcooked and tough, and the vegetables that came with it weren't even cooked through. We reported this to the waitress, who told us they would do something about it. When we paid, it turned out nothing had been done about it. The owner/manager remained in the back of the kitchen. When we said they would do something about it, she said they hadn't. With some difficulty, we finally got a 10% discount. We will never come here again.

We occasionally popped into I Fratelli for a bite to eat. Unfortunately, the last three times we were disappointed for various reasons. We were repeatedly served the wrong dish, overcharged for a pizza, received a mediocre portion of tiramisu with a particularly large amount of imitation whipped cream, and even had a bottle of wine brought to the table without being properly poured. It probably doesn't help that a young man and a young woman have recently been alternating between the servers (perhaps the owner's children). It's clear that any comment or complaint isn't handled adequately or offered a solution. It's a real shame, because it's essentially a lovely place where we enjoyed visiting. For now, we're putting this visit on the back burner.

Great pizza! The kids could make their own pizza. The pizzas were delicious.

I ordered a pizza for take away and was very decent! Thin and crunchy dough, well filled with ingredients and tasty, for sure better than any of the usual franchises around the city. The price was fair and they had it ready on time for pick up. I recommend the “buon gustaio” pizza

Unfortunately, it wasn't our taste at all. The pizzas weren't really hot, and the garlic was the most prominent flavor. The dough wasn't our style either. The service was okay.

There's no better place for a relaxing evening with truly excellent food! Super friendly service and they're open 7 days a week. It couldn't be better!

Fantastic restaurant just outside the city center! I come here regularly with friends and enjoy it every time. The food is delicious, the hospitality is top-notch, and you can tell everything is prepared with care. The owner is always present, friendly, and his warm welcome really makes the difference. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for what you get.

I ordered and picked up pizza three times. I received something different from what I ordered twice. So if you like everything and don't care what you eat, go for it. Kind of a surprise dinner.

I Fratelli is een niet zo groot, prima Italiaans restaurant op loopafstand van het centrum van Haarlem. Wij hebben hier wederom heerlijk gegeten! Als voorgerecht hadden wij de Sauté di scampi en de Focaccia, écht heel erg smakelijk. De Gnocchi en de Cannelloni waren ook erg lekker. De bediening was heel erg vriendelijk. Kortom: voor herhaling vatbaar!

IT'S NOT AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT!! They should ban this thing of writing Italian restaurant and then serving food that has nothing Italian about it. Aside from that, the waitress was very rude and unprofessional, wrong orders, countless cutlery dropped on the floor and so on. If you want Italian food, stay away from this place

Simply bad, not worth it at all

Authentic Italian restaurant. Nice extensive map. Very friendly service with a sense of humor. And open on New Year's Eve! 👍🏼 We had a delicious and enjoyable meal.

It was the only restaurant open on New Year's Eve. We ate very tasty spaghetti bolognese.

We ordered the fish dish with grilled vegetables and fried potatoes. Euro 65 per couple. A mountain of fried fish in a wet vegetable soup with 2 glassy bantams. Breaded squid rings on top, which were mushy from the sauce. The waiter passed this on to the owner. We heard what was said and saw the owner shrug his shoulders (it was filmed). He didn't come by. We left and left everything behind. After we had paid, the owner only asked "you thought the fish was wet, right? We always make it that way and never have any complaints. The plates filled with delicious dishes and pizzas also suggest the quality which is indicated with high stars at the top. We really enjoyed the starter. We think they should really improve that wet, tasteless tomato paste. I cook Italian at a good level, but I would never dare to serve this.

Last week I enjoyed a wonderful evening at I Fratelli, a fantastic Italian restaurant that really brings a piece of Italy to the Netherlands. From the moment you enter, you feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior is stylish and authentic, which immediately creates a relaxed and cozy ambiance. The food was truly sublime. The dishes were clearly prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of love for Italian cuisine. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the pizza had that crispy thin base that you only find at the best Italian pizzerias. The Tiramisu for dessert in particular was highly recommended: creamy, airy and exactly as it should be. The service was friendly, professional and gave good recommendations. There was enough attention to the guests without being intrusive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. In short, I Fratelli is highly recommended for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. Whether you come for an intimate dinner or a pleasant evening with friends, you have definitely come to the right place. I'll definitely be back soon!

We had a delicious meal there yesterday for our son's birthday. Very friendly staff. The food is delicious and you get value for your money. Thanks for the surprise, ice cream and fireworks fountain. Our child was very surprised. We will come back again soon.

Na een heerlijk voorgerecht werd onze gebakken visschotel van 66 euro geserveerd met gebakken aardappeltjes en gegrilde groenten.D.w.z. een ovaal bord waar alles opgestapeld neer gekwakt was De vis lag op bed drijfnatte groenten waarvan de vier gebakken stukjes kriel dreven in de natte groente saus welke geabsorbeerd werd door de veel te lang doorgebakken vis waarover ook nog rijkelijk tomatensaus gedaan was.De grijze tonijn was hard en smaakte naar overkookte zalm, de gegrilde gambas stonken waren taai niet te pellen.De andere smakeloze vissoorten vielen gelijk uiteen in natte groentesoep.De gefrituurde inktvis ringen waren deels nat.De eigenaar draaide zijn hoofd om en trok zijn schouders op toen de ober onze verdrietige mededeling kreeg n.l. dat de schotel erg nat was.Hij nam niet eens de moeite om aan ons tafeltje even te komen vragen en kijken wat er scheelde.Onverschillig vroeg hij pas na het afrekenen wat er loos was.Toen we wegliepen zagen we twee breed grijnzende mannen in het raam voor ons.Deze weerspiegelde de uitdrukking van deze onvriendelijk onbetrokken mensen. Ondertussen hebben mijn man en ik een innige band met de toiletpot overgehouden aan deze smerige visschotel...of mag ik het vissoep noemen

Good quality good with a really handling price. This was my first time visiting italian restaurant in Holland and I'm Happy that It happened here. Very recomended place, surely we'll come back another time 😋😌

Wat een leuk klein restaurantje is dit! Zo één waarvan je beseft dat het niks uit maakt wat je kiest van de kaart, omdat alles lekker is. Het voorgerecht met de champignons was heerlijk tot aan de chocoladetaart voor dessert die ook super lekker was. Bediening is vriendelijk en gezellig. Wij komen graag weer eens terug.

The food was delicious and the plates looked beautiful. Service super nice. We were a large group, so we couldn't all eat at the same time. Only 2 dishes were completely forgotten, which was a shame. Must be an incident and I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner here after a day of circuit on August 23, 2024 in Zandvoort. Due to a lack of staff there was a bit of a wait, but the food was worth the wait! The pizzas were delicious and so were the sandwiches! For those who still remember the advertisement, for the best man in the service; it's quite busy on your own! And the prices are still old-fashioned! Four of us had dinner for 60 euros!

Great spot on the Zijlweg. A nice and quiet getaway from the busy center. You have a great seat and finally a restaurant where you don't sit on your neighbor's lap. Excellent service and delicious Italian cuisine.

I was a little disappointed by this place, on the internet I had seen a photo of a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses which convinced me to go there as I am a cured meats lover but what we were served was not comparable in the slightest, normal stuff but poor considering the price paid. The focaccia was good and the bruschetta too, but the disappointment of the platter left a bad taste in my mouth given the final bill. And it's not an Italian restaurant, the sign can be confusing. The service also needs to be improved.

Sono rimasto un po deluso da questo posto, su internet avevo visto una foto di un tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi che mi ha convinto ad andarci essendo io amante dei salumi ma quello che ci è stato servito non era minimamente paragonabile, roba nella norma ma misero visto il prezzo pagato. La focaccia era buona e le bruschette anche, ma la delusione del tagliere mi ha lasciato l'amaro in bocca visto il conto finale. E non è un ristorante italiano, l'insegna può confondere le idee. Da migliorare anche il servizio.

The finest food, prices are reasonable

What we thought was going to be a pleasant meal turned into such a bad time that we preferred to go home. We arrived very beautiful to celebrate with my wife that I am finally running again. We ordered drinks, our appetizers and our main plates, BECAUSE WE WERE VERY HUNGRY and it was just us and a couple, after 10 minutes the place was full, which we were very happy to bring them luck (it happens that when you enter a place, you bring luck and more starters or clients come.) The young waiter was very good brought us our drinks and the starters (grilled vegetables and garlic mushrooms) all good and pleasant (it just lacked salt, but it was very pleasant).... Passed 30 mints we thought that our lunches would be soon and nothing. The other people already had their pizzas, their calzenes, their drinks and dishes. And us?, who were there before, nothing at all. The young man walked by and saw our drinks and empty plates and nothing. 40 minutes passed and STILL NOTHING... We just returned to ask for 1 glass of coke zero and my wife her glass of wine and finally the waiter took the plates, we asked for our LUNCHES ?? Well, it was already more than 40 minutes. He answered, yes, right away. Honestly, I was getting angry, my wife was very sad because we really wanted to celebrate that i already feel better in health. Another of the assistants passed by and we told him "our orders??? -OK, in a while. The manager showed up, asking for 2 more minutes of tolerance. We waited 5 minutes and nothing, and I was already tired , and really wanted to leave from the restaurant because it is not a free service, IT IS PAID. My wife went directly to PAY for what was consumed and he just brought me a risotto, which I honestly DID NOT WANT TO SIT FOR ONE MORE SECOND IN THAT RESTAURANT, which I was very angry. My wife decided it would be better to have the food to go. They don't have the sense to say: "Ladies, with all due respect, we apologize for giving you a bad time, we were confused, we are very sorry for the delay in your orders" (I don't know, I imagine some excuse). And even more we paid 77 euros for the consumption of the appetizers and the drinks, for a plate of risotto without salt, and a salmon with vegetables ( all honesty was very good). I hate eating angry and even it was supposed to be a nice moment with my wife, we had nice expectations because every time i ran through Haarlem, i passed by that restaurant.

Bij binnenkomst, vriendelijk ontvangen , maar stervenskoud . Kachel staat uit . Carpaccio kwam uit de vriezer . Biefstuk taai en tagliata di manzo ook taai en vol stukken zeem . Jammer hoor voor ons niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar !!!!

So let's review this pizzeria. 1 to 5 stars. Clean: 2 stars.... everything is clean, but the glass cups and wine cups aren't. Service: 5 stars... extremely great, especially since there was only 1 waitress for the whole place. Food: Pasta carbonara 5 stars. Pizza Margarita 3 stars... Pizza was ok but not that great the pasta was amazing. Food tempo: 4 stars.... I think it should be a 5 but I will still give it a 4 stars. The thing is that the place was super busy this makes obviously the time it takes to prep your food longer Wine: 4.5 stars....had the house moscato great price and great quality sadly it wasn't cold as it should be but that's a Dutch thing..to drink warm wine and beer. SO ALL AROUND I would definitely go eat here again 🤙🏻 Total score 4 stars.

Pizza very tasty. Salad also very good. Pasta was a bit overcooked and the sauce was too runny. However, the extremely friendly young service made up for it.

The Gnocci with gorgonzola is a definite recommendation! It was so good I could not stop eating. Great place, people at atmosphere!

Picked up pizzas. Friendly service. However, the pizza bases were undercooked and the eggplant on the pizza was undercooked (because the pieces were very thick). The taste wasn't special either.

Leuk restaurant maar erg chaotisch. Terwijl we nog aan het voorgerecht bezig waren werd het hoofdgerecht al neergezet. Nadat we hier iets van hadden gezegd werd het mee teruggenomen naar de keuken. Na verloop van tijd werd het opnieuw gebracht en met een verkeerd hoofdgerecht. Terwijl de andere al aan het eten waren omdat het anders koud werd werd aan het andere hoofdgerecht nog gewerkt. Opzich was er met het eten weinig mis maar de de bediening kon toch echt beter. De nagerechten lieten ook duidelijk te wensen over. De tiramisu was aan een kant warm en aan de andere kant koud, dus duidelijk gevalletje magnetron. De bananasplit was voor de prijs ook niet wat men mag verwachten. Wat bananenijs zou moeten zijn was vanille ijs met een warme banaan. Kortom helaas geen 2e keer.

Op de eerste plaats aardige mensen, sfeer is oké. Voorgerechten (carpaccio) veels te koud. De pizza was lekker en het dessert ook (toetje van de chef of zo iets 🙈) Lekker gegeten hoor, maar ÉCHT een aanrader nee. Maar nogmaals wel aardige bediening.

Gezellig druk Italiaans restaurant, zonder lawaaierig te zijn. Hier op de bonnefooi gegeten met vrienden. Goede pizzas en pastas. Lekkere salades en Melanzana als voorgerecht. Gewoon een prima plek. Reserveren aan te raden want zit gauw vol. Was wat lastig communiceren met de dame in de bediening die geen Nederlands noch Engels sprak maar dat droeg voor ons bij aan de sfeer. Dat er daardoor een paar keer iets anders aan kwam uit de keuken dan we hadden besteld, vonden wij geen probleem. Het was een leuke avond!

Tolle kleine Pizzaria, nettes Personal, auch wenn wir zuerst die falsche Pizza erhalten haben. Diese wurde aber umgehend durch die richtige ersetzt. Die Pizza hat gut geschmeckt, sehr empfehlenswert.

Deliziosoooooo Vandaag maar weer eens I Fratelli aangedaan. Eten is zo lekker, je eet je vingers erbij op. Personeel is altijd gezellig en vrolijk. Echt een aanrader dus.

Heerlijke calzone gegeten en service was perfect

Heerlijk gevulde ravioli gegeten, alles was goed op smaak en mooi geportioneerd. De Melanzane alla Parmigiana was ook echt super en zeker een aanrader. Ook de tiramisu is super romig en smaakvol! Ik kom snel terug om de pizza te proberen!
