We only used the restaurant. The food was very good and very tasty. The service was courteous and polite.

We got something extra because we had to wait a bit longer for the food. That was really nice.

We had good experiences here a few years earlier, but this year, on our first evening, it was a rather disappointing experience. The food was mediocre this time: the vegetables and potato side dishes were quite dry. However, the most annoying aspect was the unfriendly and dismissive attitude, especially when the bill turned out to be incorrect. To our disadvantage, mind you. The rude and unprofessional response to this from the employee involved, the lack of an apology, and the reluctant and irritable refund of the difference, gave the impression that more than just the bill was wrong this evening. Hopefully, this feeling is unfounded, but it lingers. Reason enough not to dine here again.

We had a delicious meal and the service was friendly and helpful. It wasn't busy, which is a shame because, even if you aren't a hotel guest, you can eat very well there.

We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose our own table. First we ordered some drinks, and then we received the menu. The waiter recognized us from our previous visit. Very thoughtful. We opted for the 3-course menu. Good and sufficient choice to enjoy a delicious meal. We chose the salmon brioche as a starter. That was a delicious dish, though very small, and because you have to pay extra for it, I would go for the carpaccio next time; that looked top-notch and generous. If I really had to pay €15.50 for this salmon dish, I would have seriously complained about the small size. After that, I had the schnitzel and my husband the satay; both were well-prepared and sufficient portions. What I personally find important is that the fries are well-fried; soggy fries are no fun at all. And these were really deliciously crispy. And then the dessert. Crème brûlée with stroopwafel ice cream and a waffle. The crème brûlée had a good crunch, as it should; the ice cream was delicious. My husband had the cream puff with pistachio ice cream, white chocolate mousse, and raspberry compote. Also delicious. All in all, definitely worth repeating. It certainly deserves a solid 9.

We had a high tea with delicious, original snacks. It was nice that cappuccino was also included in the price.

The waiter was wearing dirty clothes, there was no rosé wine even though it was on the menu, no draft beer, and the men's toilet was very dirty.

The soup should have been served warmer, and a cold plate was possibly used with the ham and the vegetables placed on it well before the ham was put on, so there is a temperature issue here as well.

During our stay in Texel, we visited this restaurant twice because we loved it so much. The food was amazing and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place 100%!

Very surprised by these other reviews. We had dinner here with a discount from the Fork and it was very worth it. Great duck, fish & chips & super nice entries. Also loved the brownie

Worst tomato soup I've ever eaten

Never had such a meager high tea before... 1 sandwich with salmon, and if you don't like salmon you're out of luck... why two such etagères with so little? Was an ah action and the first thing he said; normally it is three courses now two…. Why no idea... strange opening.

We've been here before, but it was as bad as the last time we ate. The only thing that wasn't bad were the drinks. The main courses were reheated microwave meals: chicken thigh satay, which was just bone-dry chicken breast. The other course was ribs and wings, which came straight out of the microwave and were tasteless. Unfortunately, we'll never go back; we've lost a customer if we want to eat out on Texel.

Good restaurant, part of the Fletcher Hotel. Service, as is almost everywhere these days, is too short, resulting in less attention. But that's a nationwide problem. And not just here. Otherwise, we had a delicious meal.

We kwamen binnen vroeg of ze een tafeltje hadden voor twee personen ze riepen zoek er maar een uit.. (waarop wij zeiden haha plek zat) het was vroeg in de middag +/- 17.30 Drinken was geserveerd Toen kwam ze willen jullie hier eten wand jullie hebben niet gereserveerd waarop ik antwoorde, daar komen wij voor. Kreeg ik al een chagrijnig gezicht , waarop ik al gelijk klaar was... Eten was opgenomen niks klantvriendelijk!!!!! Eten werd op tafel gezet eerlijk eten was echt heerlijk!! Maar de bediening echt een - 10!! 😔 daarom gaan wij hier nooit meer naartoe. Jammer.

Zeer slecht restaurant! Hadden bij reservering aangegeven dat 1 persoon glutenvrij moest eten, geen probleem werd ons toegezegd, ook bij aankomst nogmaals gevraagd, geen probleem! Bij hoofgerecht kregen we 1 schaaltje frites en twijfelden over glutenvrij, navraag gedaan en er werd eerst gezegd: patat is altijd glutenvrij toch? Wij: niet als er ook bv. Kroketten in dezelfde frituur gebakken worden, oh nee dan is het zeker weten niet glutenvrij, oké wat heb je als alternatief? Er zit toch puree bij, werd gezegd, later toen we al klaar waren toch nog een schaaltje patat gekregen maar vertrouwen was al weg. Kortom niet hier eten als je coeliakie hebt!
