Very friendly staff. Portions are good, the food tastes excellent, and the three-course menu is highly recommended.

They offered to pack up the leftover piece of pizza for me. When we left, I asked about it, but unfortunately no one remembered it and no one spoke English or German.

November 9, 2025 The hostess was fantastic, the service was efficient and prompt. You could see into the kitchen; the door was open. The food was delicious, highly recommended at an affordable price. We didn't have to wait long for our food. See you next time.

A 3-course meal for just under €30. The salads are tasty but simple, the meat is good, but the mushroom sauce is a bit dry, and the dessert is fine. All in all, a good and delicious 3-course meal that will fill you up. The staff is friendly and hardworking.

Nice restaurant, but we prefer sitting outside; it's more comfortable. Terrace heated in cool weather. Staff very friendly, one of them extremely funny. Delicious food served quickly. I would recommend the mussels and the grilled meats. I'm always very satisfied with them; plentiful and delicious. We were there last week and had a delicious meal. Unfortunately, it was pouring with rain when we left the restaurant, so the waiter offered us an umbrella, which isn't a given. This restaurant is also ideal for people who use wheelchairs, speaking from experience. The staff is always helpful.

We received a friendly welcome on a crowded terrace. The appetizer arrived quickly. The main course arrived after a good hour. A superb Argentinian mix for two. The chicken breast was deliciously tender, but the rest was overcooked and overcooked. Even the rump steak was unrecognizable. After 2.5 hours, the table was half cleared, and a dessert menu wasn't offered. The bill also turned out to be incorrect. The service was out of control, and the kitchen also made mistakes. We will NOT be trying them again.

We were here with four people and two dogs. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. We had a 1000g meat platter, mixed fish (breaded), and a pizza. The meat and fish were absolutely delicious, and the pizza was excellent! The base was truly delicious! Overall, a fair price-performance ratio. We had a delicious meal tonight, the meat was tender and flavorful. The hostess and other staff were very friendly.

The pizza I ordered took a while to arrive because it was busy. The dough wasn't firm or crispy. Garlic was supposed to be among the ingredients, but I didn't detect any. The pizza tasted good, but wasn't quite what you'd expect for that price.

Super-fast service and good food. A lot of sauce on the meat, though. But the cheerful service makes you quickly forget that.

When we told them we'd just pop in for a drink, we were given strange looks. They told us we couldn't stay there long. Very unfriendly, even though more than half the terrace was empty. We asked for Coca-Cola but were given Aldi Coke. One positive thing was the weather. Beautiful weather! We wanted to pay for two drinks by card. The lady wasn't happy about that.

We had a delicious meal here again, for a reasonable price, with a nice large plate of fries and delicious meat.

It was our first time eating there. It was absolutely child-friendly. The food came quickly and was truly delicious! The pizza is easily on par with other restaurants. It's even cheaper! An absolute recommendation!

Don't go here!! The meat was dry, nothing special. A lot of it, though. When we tried to pay cash afterward, she simply walked away with the money without giving us any change. This, even though we absolutely refused to tip for the food.

Wow, this was awful! The sign said tender spareribs, but in reality, they were inedible. Tough, impossible to remove from the bone, and tasteless. The shoarma special seemed cooked through and was very mediocre. The tuna pizza was the best, but you'd send it back at a pizzeria anyway. Terrible!! We did get a discount for the bad food, but that doesn't make it right. We left almost everything. No photos, or everyone would get sick. Never again!!

The food was good, but the third time we were there, we had to wait a long time. They seemed to have forgotten about us. When we asked, we were told it would take another 5 minutes. After another 15 minutes, the first meal arrived, and after another 15 minutes and more questions, the second meal arrived. No explanation or apology as to why it took longer. A shame. The staff, who had been very friendly the two days before, walked around our table, obviously not asking if we were satisfied. Another shame.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it because the wine wasn't delivered as advertised. The wine wasn't listed on the menu, so the price wasn't disclosed.

While our starter was just being put down, the main course arrived. When I asked if I was supposed to eat both dishes at once, it was indicated that this was indeed not nice and the starter was removed from the bill. The schnitzel and salmon pasta were delicious, the fries too and the garlic sauce is absolutely amazing. Still, you get the feeling that you are in a fancy shoarma restaurant, where the lady who helped us may have laughed once in her life, the manager seemed a lot more pleasant to us.

It was a bit chaotic in the service, but we had a great time. However, we both started experiencing quite a bit of pain quite quickly after eating the (same) pizzas. Stomach ache and mild nausea. Maybe because of the oiliness (cheese, salami) and hopefully not because of a lack of hygiene measures. The pizza itself seemed fine when we ate it.

Oh my god, this was delicious. Me and my mother have eaten here twice and both times it was a hit for us. I had the spare ribs both times and my mother had the chicken fillet special the first time and the risotto pollo the second time and I will say it, delicious dishes for a good price It is a small location that fills up quickly. So I recommend booking in advance if you want to eat. I'll eat there again soon. Especially with the variety of meals you can get here, you won't get tired of it quickly. Even if you have a special diet.

What arrogant people. Employee gives me a table, but the boss chases you away. This was because another group that was slightly larger was given priority. Tourist trap!

Very inhospitable place. The people before me were actively being lured in but only wanted to look at the menu for another day. When I came in 2 minutes later I was refused because they were 'fully booked'. At least 10 tables were free and 2 of them had a reserved sign. I assume it was because I was alone. Not recommended.

Frutti di Mare with something like surimi, otherwise risotto ok. Very cheap ham and salami on the pizza, but the base was good. You can do it, but it's not great either.

Food was okay and ready quickly. Pizza was very greasy. The service was very varied, from super nice and helpful to rude. Furthermore, there were 6 of us at the table, which was very cramped. It was clean.

We have been on Texel for 3 weeks and after more than 1 week we have already eaten at this fine restaurant 5 times... delicious food, good quality, very friendly and hospitable staff, you are really pampered as a guest and feel more than welcome . This is certainly not the last time we have been here... because there is really plenty of choice and very affordable prices...

The toppings on the pizza were placed carelessly (if the pizza had tasted good, that wouldn't have been a problem). The base is much too thick and wobbly, the cheese, if you can call it cheese, is also much too thick and tough. The pasta agio olio was swimming in tomato liquid and there was no fresh garlic to be seen or tasted. All in all, the food was really not recommended. The drinks had little carbonation. We were served by 4 different people. After we had finished eating, no one came to clear up because some of the staff were at the table inside. Of course, card payment was not possible for technical reasons.

Unfortunately not recommended... Ordered 1 appetizer and 2 pizzas. Starter was ok. Unfortunately only lukewarm instead of hot. Baked sheep's cheese with tomatoes and onions. Aluminum foil on...hot steam out, food was only lukewarm, a shame. There was also some pizza bread... very tasty, which gave us hope for a delicious pizza. This wasn't for us in terms of taste. Bland without taste... Salami/ham very neutral (cheap goods?) Cheese analogous? Our impression was that goods were used without quality. Arugula on the pizza added some flavor. I've never had to use salt and pepper to season a pizza. Staff was very friendly! There wasn't much going on that evening. We sat outside and what's not possible is that someone from the staff is constantly sitting 3 tables away to smoke.

The short version: the store does what it promises from the outside. The long version: “Are you sure you want to go in there?” the reviewer asked his companions, given the restaurant's external appearance. Okay, the other Italian was closed, it was shortly before 7 p.m. and the two small children (4 years old) were hungry. We asked if there was a table available for 5 people, we were assigned a table for 4 people. Okay, we just have to get together. The starter "Salad Capricciosa" we ordered turned out to be a salad carpaccio, which was served quite edibly on rocket leaves with a few sprinkles of parmesan. The “Latino” pizza that was delivered (onions, mushrooms, salami, peppers, garlic, egg) was stomach-filling, but nothing more. The garlic was missing, the salami was more like a cervelat sausage and was added later. The pizza crust was hard, the fried eggs were rock hard. For the children we ordered fries and a portion of pasta with Bolognese sauce. Fries were okay, the Bolognese sauce looked more like goulash sauce and the child left it with violent facial grimaces right after the first bite. Service: the male waiter was extremely friendly and clearly tried to make up for the lack of food with friendliness. The female waiter, on the other hand, gave the impression that the guests - no - probably found her job rather annoying. Ambience: you get the impression that the store has seen its best days behind it. When the weather is good, you can sit outside and watch the tourists stroll past on the pedestrian zone. It's better not to look too closely inside. Conclusion: Recommendable? Rather not.

I have never received such bad service as I did at this restaurant. We had a 3 course meal and the soup came after 45 minutes, in total it took us over 2 hours for dinner. Beer was warm and the cola had a strange aftertaste. Never again.🤮🤮🤮

Had dinner here on a Thursday evening during the May holidays. There was still one picture available here. Service is smooth and friendly. Quite a lot of different types of meat dishes, platters, pizza and pasta. The prices are good and the main course is already filling. Partly because of the large portion of fries and the baked potato (which already contains garlic butter). Otherwise a good meal for the money.

The food portions were really good, and I loved sitting and watching people pass by. My only complaint was about the cleanliness. Our server brought the food with one plate sort of on top of the other, touching, and one of the glasses was not clean.

We ate there three times and each time we were surprised with nice things from the kitchen. Despite very poor knowledge of German, the service was always friendly and always tried to fulfill all requests. The food itself was always freshly prepared and can be recommended, even with the quantities you fill up well. We would be happy to come back on our next vacation.

Zur Mittagszeit in De Koog...da gibt's eigentlich nicht viel, da die Restaurants in der Touristengegend dann alle zu recht hohen Preisen irgendwelche Brote und Suppen anbieten...also haben wir gedacht: machen wirs richtig touristisch und gehen mal in den Touristentempel, da sind die Preise wenigstens besser und eine ehrliche Pizza ist auch nicht zu verachten. Wir sind dann auch ehrlich überrascht worden. Die Pizza war nicht besonders, aber die Muscheln und die Gambas waren der Oberhit...also vielleicht gibt's da noch weitere mediterrane Highlights, die echt lecker und preislich gut sind! Definitiv eine Empfehlung

Essen war sehr lecker.Dann ist mir folgendes passiert ich verschluckte mich an einem Stück Fleisch und ich möchte mich bei meinem Lebensretter bedanken,der mich vor dem Erstickungstot bewahrt hat.durch sein beherztes Eingreifen konnte Schlimmes verhindert werden. Noch einmal meinen allerherzlchsten Dank.

Toeristische tent, maar mosselen waren prima. Zalm bleek gepaneerd en gefrituurd te zijn, niet lekker. Bediening vriendelijk en vlot. Prijzen redelijk maar een 0.3 Skuumkoppe voor 6 euro is pittig.

Gute Pizzen und Pasta, freundliche Bedienung und angenehme Preise. Eine der besten Pizza, die ich hier auf Texel gegessen habe und ich bin schon 6 mal auf Texel gewesen.

Gezellige sfeer maar lauw eten op koude borden. Met hier en daar een vreemde smaak. De soep vooraf was lauw en de kip in de kippensoep daar zat een rare bliksmaak aan en groentesoep was niet veel meer dan een smakeloze bouillon met diepvriesgroente. Texelse lamskoteletjes waren koud net zoals de kipshoarma. Erg jammer want de smaak was redelijk tot goed. Frietjes waren melig en niet goed doorbakken. Dit alles op ijskoude borden maakt het een treurig geheel. De er bij geserveerde salade bestond uit een minimaal hoopje ijsbergsla met 1 plak sinaasappel, 1 schijf komkommer en een plak tomaat. Wij verbaasde ons erover dat andere gasten verklaarde dat ze heerlijk hadden gegeten, wij troffen het dus gewoon niet of hadden de verkeerde gerechten van de kaart gekozen......... 1 restaurant moet tijdens je vakantie de slechtste zijn en dat was voor ons Latino. Voor ons geen aanrader maar gelukkig zijn er meer dan genoeg andere restaurants waar wij wel tevreden over zijn.

Mein Mann hatte sein Fleisch schon längst und ewig später kam dann seine Beilage. Darf einfach nicht passieren. und der Abschlussknaller!!! Essen & Service gut. Die Falaffel war sehr lecker. Ambiente könnte etwas hochwertiger sein - alles in allem ein gutes und schnelles Mittagessen.

Vleesgerechten en pizza waren prima maar de lasagne was absoluut niet lekker, de ingrediënten waren niet vers en het rook muf, volgens mij waren het diepvriesgroenten... wortel... broccoli.. erwten... nee absoluut niet lekker in de lasagne..

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Heel lief en behulpzaam personeel. Mijn zoon vond de kaas op zijn pizza niet lekker en accuut kreeg hij een vervangende pizza. Hulde!

Gisteren lekker varkenshaas gegeten Zeker en aanrader

We hebben heerlijke gegeten in dit restaurant. Bediening is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten is heerlijk en goed betaalbaar. We komen zeker nog eens terug.

Wir waren in diesem Urlaub gleich zwei mal dort essen weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Essen sehr lecker. Service sehr gut. So macht Essen im Urlaub Spaß. Wir werden wieder kommen.
