Got food poisoning from the spare ribs. The cola also arrived without fizz. The waiter didn't say anything and didn't come around unless called over several times. Highly not recommended.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience; the reserved table was given to other guests. The service was terrible; I could barely hear the waiter. The food was generally bad: burnt Calsone twice, tough spare ribs, overcooked steak, etc., etc. We paid promptly and told them what we thought of it. We'll never go back to So What.

Cozy location, good food, friendly staff

On the day we left the bungalow park 't Ahoogelandt, we ordered food because, due to circumstances (a dead car battery), we had to cancel our reservation to fix the car. The food was very good, and it was delivered quickly. The restaurant is across the street from the bungalow park.

Italian cuisine. Extensive menu with numerous pizza options. Dining outside is available when the weather is nice.

We had a delicious meal at So What. They had the three-course menu, the fish version. Dessert was a choice of two ice creams, which I personally didn't like, but tastes differ! Friendly service, delicious rosé wine. Dogs are welcome!

Don't be put off by the old photos and bad reviews of the orders. The food is amazingly delicious! Kudos to the chef.

Everything was perfect, the food tasted delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere, with the music and everything, was positive. The tagliatelle "So what" was a 12 out of 10.

A piece of glass in the pizza... uneatable... lasagna was also very bad and burnt. Update: After complaining, the food was picked up and steamed in a very antisocial manner. No sympathy for us! Update: We received a credit via PayPal. Upgraded from 1 star to 3.

When I look at the Thuisbezorgd website I see a minimum order amount of €20.00 then my choice (1 person) is limited or have to order more than I can eat in 1 dinner. The delivery costs €.300 for the distance of 4.2 kilometers can be called acceptable. I think the hidden "Service fee" of €0.99 is nonsense to have to pay. Also considering the varying reviews I am not yet convinced to order online.

Good food in a simple atmosphere. Host Mounir is rightly proud of what he has created. The restaurant was a faded glory years ago, but under his guidance the appearance but also the taste and the atmosphere have improved enormously. If you want to avoid the crowds (and high prices) of the beach tents, this is a great place to stay. In addition, Mounir is friendly to the guests after his work in the kitchen. Picked up 7 pizzas here, all pizzas were very salty and wet. That was a real disappointment and they quickly started to resist. It would take an hour before the pizzas were ready and the daughter of the owners wanted to deliver the pizzas, which was very nice.

Ordered shawarma, bread with herb butter and spare ribs, but it was disappointing. Shawarma had little taste and certainly did not resemble the shawarma you get at a shawarma shop. Spare ribs; the meat was stuck to the bone, far from tender. All in all disappointing takeaway dishes.

The shrimp were swimming in a sauce that was clearly curdled, the sirloin steak was full of tendons and after waiting almost 45 minutes for the dessert, we paid and did not eat the dessert. The very young service was nice, but letting a child of about eleven years old solve the problems is not a good plan, that's why I'm writing it down here because I don't want to argue with a child and the chef was far too busy with other things such as the takeaway pizzas that are apparently very popular and also looked good.

The chicken satay came from the deep fryer... so it was quite tough and very salty. The kibbeling was also very salty and overcooked, it also had fried garlic on it, which they were allowed to add. I felt very bad after eating. Not recommended

Yesterday we had a really delicious meal here, the atmosphere is absolutely great even though we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. The owner and his wife are very friendly and came over for a chat. Dogs are no problem. We were here a few years ago and it was really good then, but there has been a lot of renovation/renovation over the years. The conservatory looks really great. Can only recommend eating here

Ate here on Sunday evening. Friendly service. It was quiet, but the mood lights on all the tables made it cozy. The mussels as an appetizer were really tasty, followed by satay and pork tenderloin were nice and tender.

I am doing an internship here on Texel and I ordered food here once, it arrived hot, my wishes were met, such as the meat that had to be cooked through, then I also had dinner with my friend, everything was very fresh and delicious and the owner / service was also very friendly and the atmosphere is also very nice with all the lights and decor, they also have a very nice dog!

The finest and tip top. A bit out of the way but worth a visit. Super tasty pizza dough, nice selection of pizzas and pasta dishes. Very comfortably furnished and the menu in Dutch and German. Outside there is a playground for children and an outdoor terrace.

We ate at "so what" for the second time today. We can't complain, it was really tasty and the service was friendly. We will eat there again. Great selection of dishes, there should be something for everyone. A big compliment to the kitchen.

The food was okay, but unfortunately I have to say there is better. The wines are somehow a cheap booze that are sold expensively. Pizza is quite okay, you can eat it there. Ultimately it's all a matter of taste

There was a bit of a wait as there were only two waiters working... but no problem with children as there is a children's playground right next to the restaurant. Food was delicious. Would come again.

Wednesday 07/03/24 Food great! Service well, we waited a long time for our food even though the restaurant wasn't very busy.

If you want food poisoning or are tired of life, you should eat here. After an hour I immediately felt a knot in my stomach and enormous cramps. Been sick for 2 days after eating a meal here.

We happened to pass by here while visiting the playground and after looking at the menu we decided to try it out in the evening. The service was very nice and accommodating, our little daughter was immediately offered something to paint. The pizza tasted delicious, the beer was freshly tapped and cold. Unfortunately, the drinks have a very high price, but all in all the price-performance ratio is good, even if you compare them to the general prices on Texel. We'll definitely be back.

Away from the “hustle and bustle” of de Koog, in a quiet location, great food

The service was wonderful and friendly. We went there really late and the chef (also the boss) happily extended and cooked for us. The service was super nice and the food was absolutely delicious. On google we don’t know why it shows up as very expensive (€€€) but it’s not. The ambience is amazing and really a chill place in De Koog area. Absolutely loved it!!

Price/performance is not right. Drinks overpriced and service unfriendly. Food was OK. Good playground from the adjacent bungalow park.

We didn't feel wanted in this restaurant so we got up and walked away. Started as soon as we entered... we had made a reservation and arrived 10 minutes earlier. At the time of reservation it was made clear to me that we had to order and everyone had to come inside... our children were playing in the playground so it didn't feel like it was very child friendly... we had friends from abroad and they could not speak Dutch .. the owner was very unfriendly and initially kept speaking Dutch... at one point she turned out to be able to speak English... the last straw for us was the way she addressed our children while she was working with the salt and pepper set. games were.. in short, very child unfriendly and unfriendly service.. we can't say anything about the food, but we certainly won't come back.. update - 4 years later the restaurant reacts... strange.

We were completely satisfied and from the first time we knew we would be back! (It ended up being three times in our 6 days of vacation) The food was great and the portions catered for even the most hungry people. The price is completely okay compared to the restaurants on the beach or in the city centers. Paid an average of €130 for four people, including drinks. We can only recommend it and thank you for the lovely service ;)

Ate today in this beautiful restaurant. The waiter advised us to take the three-course menu. As a starter you could choose from shrimp in garlic sauce or carpaccio Main menu salmon steak prepared on charcoal or entrecote and for desert a tiramisu or ice cream cake. Hey it was all tasty and very large portions. really recommended. We want to go back for the schnitzel so what, this must be a real winner.

Nette kleine Pizzeria abseits der City.

Ik kom er al een paar jaar en ben zeer tevreden. Eten is lekker. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Ook de afhaal pizza's zijn lekker. Bediening is altijd vriendelijk en beleefd. En nu het is verbouwd is het qua ambiance echt vooruit gegaan. Honden zijn (buiten?) welkom. En als je jonge kinderen hebt is er een speeltuintje voor de deur. Ik kom er met plezier en kan het echt aanbevelen.

Makkelijk toegankelijk met speeltoestellen voor kleine kinderen relaxte sfeer en lekker eten voor een betaalbare prijs.

Het eten was lekker en het personeel erg vriendelijk. De kinderen konden lekker buiten spelen op de verschillende speeltoestellen.

Der Pizzateig war ein Gedicht. Eine tolle Auswahl an Pizza-, Fisch- und Fleischgerichten. Bei sonnigem Wetter haben wir auf der Terrasse gesessen. Auch die Lieferung oder Abholung von Speisen ist möglich.

Sowohl Lieferservice als auch ein Essen im Restaurant vor Ort genutzt. Die Lieferung erfolgte zeitnah, vollständig und alle Gerichte waren lecker. Im Restaurant ebenfalls alles bestens, Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Ein kleines unauffälliges Restaurant im Ferienpark So What. Hier darf man keine allzu großen Ansprüche haben ans Ambiente. Das Essen ist aber in Ordnung. Kibbeling und die Pizzen sind lecker und reichlich. Keine langen Wartezeiten. Die Hintergrundmusik ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und ausgefallen. Hunde sind willkommen! Tischreservierungen sind nicht unbedingt notwendig.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen zu Gast. Die 3 bestellten Risotto waren ohne Ausnahme sehr gut und reichlich. Leider waren die weiteren Spareribs nur lauwarm und mussten in der Küche "nachgearbeitet" werden. Die Lammkoteletts sind nicht zu empfehlen - das Fleisch war nicht von bester Qualität ........auf der Karte wird ausdrücklich ausgeführt, dass 5 Lammkoteletts zum Gericht gehören - leider waren nur 4 auf dem Teller. Der Service war ok - ist aber noch ausbaufähig. Die Getränke ( Bier, Weißwein und Rotwein ) waren sehr gut.

Für uns hat alles gepasst. Lieferung schnell und freundlich. Preislich entsprechend eines Touristengebietes. Die Pizzen waren sehr viel belegt, Boden sehr dünn, Gemüse frisch. Hat gut geschmeckt. Wer im Ferienhaus mal Abends auf dem Sofa bleiben will und keine italienische sterneküche erwartet ist mit so what sehr gut bedient. Danke!

We visited here last week and waited for 25 mins even to be able to place an order despite the very low crowd. While ordering, we were told that even a Pizza would take 30 mins to be served. Had to leave to find quicker options. Would not recommend if you are looking for a quick bite.

Alles, wirklich alles perfekt. Tolle Gastgeber, megggaa leckeres Essen egal ob Vorspeise, Pizza, Pasta, Fleisch oder Fisch. Wir hatten von allem etwas und sind sehr begeistert

Es hat alles gut geschmeckt. Bedienung ist nett und gut.

Wir kannte das Lokal aus vergangen Zeiten und anderen Betreiber. Heute bekommt man dort nur TK-Ware selbst die Frites waren nicht frisch bzw selbstgemacht. Wir wurden schnell bedient und das Lokal hat einen sauberen Eindruck gemacht. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis hat leider zu wünschen die Messlatte nach oben hin offen gelassen. Wir waren davon enttäuscht.
