Restaurant RUW Valkenburg in Wijk 00: Valkenburg

Food was fine, but the service was not so. We walked in to ask if they were open and if we could order something on the terrace. The boy said yes, I'm coming. He didn't come. We went back inside to attract attention again. Finally he came with a menu. Then something went wrong with the order. My husband ordered a toasted sandwich and then asked if he could change it to a croquette sandwich. The waiter wrote it down. When he came back, he brought a sandwich. So I give service a 1. I think there are very few staff here and they are very slow and make mistakes.

I just called to make a reservation for tomorrow at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the friendly hostess indicated that the restaurant was temporarily closed, but that there was an alternative, thanks to a collaboration with Restaurant de Beren. It wasn't what we were looking for tomorrow evening, but after the telephone conversation I had received enough information from the helpful and enthusiastic hostess to have a nice day in Valkenburg. Amuse not to eat and order only taken after 15 minutes of sitting

Went to this restaurant with the d'amuse tour. Helped by the kitchen staff, because the service was nowhere to be found. Unprofessional and extremely expensive. We know that prices have gone up, but €4 euros for a coke or a rivella is everything...

Alleen wat gedronken, vriendelijk personeel. De Espresso Martini is een aanrader.

Goed eten, mooie locatie super personeel

Weinig bediening, waardoor je soms even moet wachten. De bediening is wel erg vriendelijk en van goede kwaliteit. Eten wordt chique opgediend en is prima te eten.

Wederom geluncht bij RUW. Zeer rustig. Na 30 min mijn timer maar aangezet want een bestelling opnemen leek er niet meer in te zitten. Met nog 4 minuten te gaan kwam edoch alsnog de actie. Bestelling gedaan en die werd na weer ruim wachten geserveerd Maar met in plaats van de specifiek bestelde Gamba Tempura met Zalmtartaar. Foutje in de keuken, kwam er als verklaring en weg liep de bediening. Zelden zoiets meegemaakt. En dat is echt jammer, want voor het eten op zich zou ik wel terug willen komen

Een modern restaurant met vegan opties in een mooie omgeving.

Heerlijk gegeten vanavond. Mooi 3-gangen menu met keuze. Heerlijke zalm als voorgerecht, perfect gegaarde eend met Madeira saus als hoofdgerecht en chocola met bavaroise van Nespresso in een taartje als dessert. Mooie huiswijn ook per glas. Gezellig modern ingericht restaurant met trendy muziek en fijne vlotte bediening. Komen híer graag terug. Prijs-kwaliteit klopt. Een aanwinst voor Valkenburg.

Das Restaurant RUW befindet sich im Black Label Hotel Valkenburg. Das Interieur ist industriell gehalten - polierter Beton, schwarzes Metall, blaue Rohre, punktuell Pflanzen. Wenig Tageslichteinfall, wodurch es recht dunkel wirkt. Die Tische sind modern eingedeckt. Das Geschirr ist ebenfalls zeitgemäß. Die Präsentation der Speisen waren optisch einladend (siehe Fotos). Bedauerlicherweise fehlte es allen Gerichten -ohne Ausnahme- an Geschmack. Zwar befanden sich auf allen gedeckten Tischen Salz- und Pfeffermühlen, jedoch erwarten wir eine gewisse grundlegende Abschmeckung der Speisen in der Küche. Letztendlich ist es eine Kunst der optischen Täuschung, Speisen wohlschmeckend aussehen zu lassen. Die Ernüchterung der Qualität folgt unmittelbar beim Probieren. Für uns ein einmaliger Besuch dieser Lokalität.

diner top echt genoten voor een goede prijs. ontbijt zit wel variatie in maar is geen vd valk.

Hotel was super goed mooi omgeving loop afstand ben je zo in Valkenburg centrum .

We had a great dining experience here. Especially the staff was very accommodating. Food was above expectations. Dishes not overly complex but very well prepared and very tasty. Location as well as interior are charming. Will definitely not hesitate to go back.

Goed hotel, lekker ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel. Alleen jammer dat je betaald moet parkeren.

Het eten was goed, leuke bediening alleen jammer dat je met dit lekkere zomerweer niet buiten mag dineren.
