Beautifully immersed in a Christmas atmosphere, highly recommended.

Very busy on a Friday afternoon. Full. I asked for a spot on the terrace...which I got. Lovely pale sunshine, enjoying the airplanes and helicopters. Food wasn't great value for money. Quality was good. My cappuccino had one slice of brown bread under it...not even a greasy slice. With two Chardonnays and a tip...30 euros... Could be better...

I love eating lunch here. Unfortunately, the portions have changed. Previously, two sandwiches were included with your lunch. Now just one. A bit disappointing on the plate. And the price isn't really worth it. Too bad...

Had a wonderful meal with a large group. The service was great and very quick, despite the crowd. The food was delicious, and so was the wine. We'll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic party with a lunch buffet at De Vleugel. The soup was fantastic, the croquettes were superb, and the sandwiches were delicious.

Fun to go with your kids or grandchildren.

It's nice to sit on the terrace in the sun and watch the airport activity. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was far below par. A wafer-thin, tough schnitzel from the fryer with a slice of cold zucchini and a piece of reheated bell pepper isn't worth 25 euros. The tenderloin skewer consists of chunks of tough, lukewarm meat. Here too, the "stir-fry vegetables" consisted of a piece of limp zucchini and a strip of bell pepper. The spare ribs were decent, but nothing special and also lukewarm. The Hilversum Airport restaurant isn't a highlight.

Gorgeous place, amateur service . A simple borrel took 45 minutes because they forgot, and the staff made a sport of looking past tables full of people waving them down. Made a complain and the girl's trying to give us attitude instead of apology. Meh.

We had a drink on the terrace at Hilversum Airport. It was a constant coming and going of sports planes. The terrace is right next to the airfield. The atmosphere is friendly, and the service is excellent. That's why we like coming here. There's live music regularly.

It was great fun watching those little planes take off and land. We sat on the terrace, which was lovely. It was also delicious, and there was plenty of choice.

Nice food, unfortunately the service was all mixed up, they didn't know each other and the table was already being served by someone else.

Enjoyed lunch there with a group of seniors. The goat cheese sandwich was delicious. But the other sandwiches looked good. The service was pleasant and the staff friendly. Because we were inside with a group, if you sit by the windows, you have a good view of the airplanes. Later, when the sun came out, we went outside and had coffee on the terrace and watched the airplanes.

Not a good place to go with a large group. It took ages for orders to even be taken, and even for them to arrive. Then, the orders didn't arrive simultaneously or incompletely, and we didn't get our fries until everyone else had finished eating. So, mustard after the meal. With allergies, it was already a nightmare, and the price is outrageously high for what you get. Especially when we discovered that everything was being fried in the same deep fryer. This restaurant has a lot of work to do if it hopes to survive.

The restaurant looks cozy, but somewhat dated, decorated. There is a nice big terrace, where you have a beautiful view over the airport. Especially in the weekend there is quite a lot of air traffic. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had lunch there. The carpaccio sandwich tasted good, but the amount of bread was minimal. Never had such a small piece of bread with this dish before. And then to think that the sandwich was quite expensive, namely € 16. That is clearly well above average!

We found it strange that you could only get fries with your main course if you paid for them separately. This was quite expensive for what you got.

Nice spacious terrace with a view of the airport, nice service, what came out of the kitchen was less, not all garnish was fresh, the pasta was completely overcooked, the surf and turf substandard. Too bad.

At the invitation of my sister, I went here to eat. I knew the chip shop across the road well; where you can also eat well. But I didn't know this restaurant yet. Well people, if you're going to eat here, make sure you're hungry. The food is very good, and large portions.

What a warm welcome, good atmosphere, and delicious food we got with our high tea last Saturday. Recommended!!

Beautiful location, but unfortunately very poor service. A high tea had been reserved due to a birthday party. Mold in the jam, slow service and despite a previously stated walnut allergy, these were incorporated into the dishes, which meant that our party had to undergo an allergic reaction. The icing on the cake was that no apologies were offered by either the kitchen and/or staff and we had to ask separately for a plate of replacement dishes without walnuts. No explanation of what was ultimately served, other than the comment that there were no walnuts on the plate delivered. The rented room was bare and cheerless, not decorated. The staff walked through the rented room to bring dishes to the guests outside on the terrace, which made everything a bit restless.

During my visit, I enjoyed sitting outdoors with a stunning view of gliders. The staff was friendly, and the food was both tasty and generously portioned. However, one major downside was the smoking at the table near a playground for children is absolutely unacceptable.

Delicious food and nice people. We sat in the room, not off to the side. It was difficult to understand each other and the tight walking route was past our table, which was not pleasant.

Ate with six people. A bit dark upon entering, but you get used to this quickly and it increases the atmosphere and privacy. Friendly welcome and very pleasant service. Food is good (meat is excellent from Butchery Chateau Briand). Suitable and calm music with just the right sound level. Average price is 40-45 p.p.

Had lunch this afternoon with 3 friends..... what beautiful products and what a delicious meal we had, we had to wait a while because it was very busy but that was no problem. Recommended!!!!!

They are nice, location is good, nice. Only 24.- for a satay... too expensive for a strange piece of fatty chicken on a stick. Atjar from a jar. A piece of pepper and cashew nuts over the peanut sauce. It seemed like everything came from packages and jars. Fries were not included, I did not ask for the coconut rice. I left half of the skewer stick. Atmosphere nice, food bad. Next time I'll stick to a bitter garnish. Lunch a while back was better. Cup of coffee in the morning is also fine.

A year ago: After a nice walk with our 2 dogs on the heath to the airport restaurant. However, there is no room here for 2 people with 2 dogs. Unwelcoming sign at the entrance with dog rules and the message that only 1 dog per party is allowed. Too bad I'm not celebrating my wedding here. This is customer unfriendly and out of date. Keep it up and you'll get there. Update year later: still not more than 1 dog is welcome. Too bad if you and friends who also have a dog are not yet welcome with 2 dogs. Remains customer unfriendly, absolutely not recommended. Unfortunately. And what do you mean in consultation when there is a sign stating 1 dog per group, as if all dogs poop on the terrace. Perhaps the owner does not realize that his business is located next to the forest and heath?

Very nice new discovery! Recently discovered and saved on Google maps. Invited my girlfriend and a friend to have lunch there today, as a surprise, they found it very nice and tasty. Good quality food, good portions, a bit ad price. Finally a good Croque Monsieur with tasty béchamel sauce! Only there is no egg on it, that's only with a Croque Madame 😉 The Croque Madame also had an egg, but according to the menu no ham, which should be on it too. The spicy chicken was not spicy, but tasty ☺️ Ragout was also tasty, but a bit difficult to eat, so we passed on it. The hazelino pastry was very sweet, and I have a sweet tooth, you see. It looked more like a meringue with hazelnut and caramel, quite dense. Nice taste. The Loosdrechts loosje (chocolate pastry with forest fruits) was fine, nothing special. The hot chocolate was from a machine and ok, prefer the one and only 😉 Service was very friendly and fast. The location is great, good for walking and looking out for the planes! We will be back 😊

We had a delicious meal with a large group (30) in a separate room. The smaller menu gave more than enough choice. From delicious tournedos to salmon. The staff was very attentive and caring. I can recommend this pearl to everyone.

Incredibly top experience, brilliant rosé, unparalleled veal schnitzel, (( where do they still cut it from ribeye )), this really makes us very happy.

Nice spot right next to the local private Airport with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Kid friendly with a playground on site and small kids menu. Dogs are allowed! Service was friendly and quick. Food was good a bit price especially for the toast and the Schnitzel but portion size of the meat made up for it. Worth a visit if you looking for a comfort food.

The food was downright disappointing. Food was on the table within 10 minutes of ordering. Schnitzel seemed to be fried in the fryer and the fries tasted as if they had been fried in the same fat as the fish. In my opinion, really below par for the price we had to pay.

Unfortunately, after switching to the new owner, the dog policy is unfriendly to say the least. Anyone with more than one dog is immediately shown the door and even those with one (well-behaved) are not really welcomed in a friendly manner, while I saw several families with more than one child. Apparently that's not a problem. I think it's a strange policy, especially because you are located next to a gigantic dog walking area. We could always relax there after group walks. So that's why we don't go there anymore.

Tuna sandwich only comes in 1 small sandwich, for a 2nd sandwich you pay 1.50 extra, a bit bizarre! And the price for a tuna sandwich is quite expensive. The tuna salad was tasty, the location was great, and almost all of the staff were very friendly.

While more and more restaurants in the region seem to be following the Amsterdam example of poor service and little food for a lot of money, fortunately this is an old-fashioned restaurant where you can enjoy dining out. The food is tasty and the portions are large, you certainly won't leave here on an empty stomach. We particularly liked the Schnitzel and the pasta with garlic. Service is also good, all orders are processed in a normal time frame. The location doesn't make it any worse. It was quite busy on a Monday evening, a good sign.

Always fun here. In summer there is a nice terrace outside and you can watch planes take off and land. And with little success I managed to see skydivers coming down. I love this place...

Had a very tasty vegetarian pasta here last week. The rest of our party also had good meat dishes. It is pricey. The service was great! The toilets could use a makeover (and cleaning). A broken toilet seat is really unacceptable.

Worst restaurant ever. Everything was prepared in garlic butter. That was far too dominant. Even with limp warm vegetables. Gluten free! Bread with meat was normal bread. Gluten-free bread came when meat was already gone. Both potato dishes are not gluten-free, nor are the fries. Only starter was tasty. And the service is nice.

Ended up at this restaurant by chance on Friday 6 June. Ordered the spare ribs and pork tenderloin. Don't know how they did it but food was on the table in 5 minutes! I thought this was special. As it turned out...pork tenderloin was cold. We had these returned. Spare ribs just passed muster, a bit dry but doable. When my wife went to eat the pork tenderloin, it turned out to be still raw on the inside, which is a shame. As compensation we were offered a glass of rosé. All in all, we thought the price for this food was on the high side. 23.50 - for the pork tenderloin and spare ribs 24.00, everything is 5 euros too expensive and then you have to pay for the side dishes such as fries, etc. separately. Service made up for a lot. The location is great, so we will come back for a drink and then eat somewhere else.

At this restaurant you can sit on the terrace when the weather is nice and watch the planes take off and land. If you are lucky you will also see parashut jumpers. Food and service are excellent.

The restaurant has been under new owners for a while now with good improvement in service and food. The food has become a little more pricey, but the quality ratio is still good. The service was good and I notice that they also keep an eye on the tables and see when you have finished eating or might want something to drink. They are friendly and it gives a relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance has remained the same and although it is a little dated, it is really a piece of aviation that you are in with lots of decoration and accessories to enhance this. It was now a rainy day, but when the sun shines again and air traffic starts again, it is also a nice place to enjoy a drink, snack and the atmosphere of 'the world' of aviation on the terrace.

It looks like a 5 star restaurant. Staff is SUPER nice. Despite the crowds, they just have a chat with you. Big 10

Everything is way too expensive for what you get! I had spare ribs for 24 € with a bit of greasy coleslaw with too much dressing and 3 canned corn fries that were also inedible. There was little meat on the spareribs. Waitress said should I add potato gratin, so I thought it would be free. No, I had to pay for everything, including the manager 🤬 So not lenient!!

We enjoyed a delicious meal while enjoying the beautiful view of the airport in a warm, cozy atmosphere. We had smoked ribeye and Dutch shrimp cocktail which were really great, good portions too. As a main course we had Tournedos Bali, Tournedos classic and only three pork tenderloin, which were also very tasty, it was really enjoyable, although I would have liked a little more bread because the sambal gravy was so tasty and I couldn't really finish it now. Dessert coffee with cake and ice cream with amarene cherries, this was also very good. Restaurant Hilversum Airport is definitely recommended and worth repeating.

Zo vaak langs gereden en nu eindelijk eens geluncht. Alle gerechten zagen er heel goed uit en t smaakte heerlijk. Kom zeker een keer terug. Ook leuk om af en toe een vliegtuigje te zien komen en gaan. Leuk uitzicht dus en goede vriendelijke bediening.

Het was er erg koud, maar dat is tegenwoordig bij veel horecazaken zo. Het eten was redelijk. De ossenhaasspies was zeer ongelijk gegaard. Het ene stuk rauw en vol zenen, het andere stuk te gaar. Dat was bij mijn tafelgenoten ook zo. Zonde, want de hoeveelheid was royaal. De desserts hebben allemaal dezelfde garnering. Al met al wel value for money, gezien de ruime porties en de lekkere friet die bij alle gerechten komt. Bediening is vriendelijk en loopt zich de benen uit het lijf.

Was er afgelopen zaterdag met vrienden. Het was gezellig en het eten was heerlijk🌟

Wij hebben genoten van de high tea. Heerlijke warme en koude hartigheden en daarna nog de zoete lekkernijen. Volop keuze in theesoorten. Echt een aanrader de high tea

Easy accessible location. Also looks like a fun place to be during the day to see the flights take-off and land. Food was great, really. But we came with a group of 12 people, had a 3 course meal and drinks and we still weren't allowed to have a glass of tap water. Which is in their right I suppose (understandable if you show up, have a slice of cake and a glass of tap water and leave), but it does set a tone.

Het is hier altijd goed toeven en lekker eten ,kom hier al meer dan 15jr maar wat ik afgelopen tijd meemaak is echt dom en het mag helemaal niet: grote parasols op het terras met span touw vastgezet met pinnen in de grond en wat zie ik:een oude man met rollator kan niet doorlopen vanwege die touwen ook ik moet omlopen want tussen de tafels zitten de touwen vast aan pinnen in de grond en dat over bijna het hele terras..Hoorde vd bediening waarom dit is.Nou wij komen op vele terrassen ook op het strand die hebben ook zulke grote parasols doch niks met touwen en pennen in de grond vast gezet.Belemmering doorgang klanten is echt foute boel.Man haal het weg anders ga ik deze onveiligheid toch melden.en als ik volgende keer kom en zie ik het nog dan ga ik weg,mijn doorgang op een terras laten belemmeren door touwen en pinnen dat gaat me te ver .Volgens de brandweer is het zeer onveilig voor de klanten als er bv brand uitbreekt.

Twee weken goede ervaring gehad, maar gister 3 september was waardeloos. Wilden een verjaardagsborrel vieren, was gereserveerd, maar bij aankomst bleek van niet. Drankjes besteld, maar bittergarnituur was niet mogelijk omdat men onderbemand was in de keuken en het personeel ging eten. Even later wel mogelijk, maar helft zat er niet bij. Nog een rondje besteld, toen weer de keuken dicht. Toen was de gezelligheid direct verdwenen. En wij dus ook. Jammer van deze nare ervaring.

Hebben hier heerlijk gegeten met z'n vieren na een dagje Hilversum; hele vlotte en vriendelijke bediening waar je lekker mee kon ouwehoeren, lekker eten en een mooi uitzicht over het vliegveld. Kids konden lekker rauzen in de speeltuin, wij gaan hier zeker terug komen...

Zeer leuk en gezellig en gastvrij restaurant. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en ontzettend leuke locatie. Je ziet de vliegtuigen continu landen en opstijgen.

Lekker eten we zijn nu drie keer geweest maar je staat wel binnen 1,5 uur weer buiten het zal beter zijn als het tempo iets minder snel gaat

Binnen of buiten, je kunt hier prima eten. Gezellig, genoeg ruimte, prima avond gehad.

Zondag hier een koffietje op het terras gedronken met voorrijden van een Motorritje. Donderdag terug gekomen met ruim 25 motorrijders ipv de geplande 7. Dit was geen probleem en er werd een ruk te open gemaakt waar wij met z'n allen gezellig even wat konden drinken en kletsen. Onwijs bedankt voor de flexibiliteit en gastvrijheid!! (en sorry voor de overval!)

Leuke plek voor een kop koffie, borrel of maaltijd. Prima sfeer en een leuke locatie vast ook prima voor feestjes. Eten viel wat tegen Steak tartaar bijna stuk gepureerd, ook de entrecote te lang door gebakken. Had beter verwacht. Bediening prima 👍

Πολλά μπράβο για το φαγητό, για την εξυπηρέτηση και για την ατμόσφαιρα . Πήγαμε τυχαία , αφού ήταν κοντά στο χωριό που μέναμε στο LOOSDRECHT. Μείναμε ικανοποιημένοι από την ποιότητα του μενού .

Lekker gegeten en een top bediening

Bij binnenkomst ben ik zeer vriendelijk onthaalt. Een beetje naïef koos ik voor een plekje in de zon achter het glas om naar de vliegtuigen te kijken. Dit heb ik 10 min volgehouden🙈 toen ik wilde verplaatsen naar de schaduw heeft de bediening me meerdere mooie opties gegeven en werd zelfs mijn glas voor me meegenomen! Chapau! Mijn broodje carpaccio werd zeer snel geserveerd, goed op temperatuur en de pesto (die ik had ipv truffelmayo werd in een bakje apart geleverd zodat ik zelf kon bepalen hoeveel ik wilde. De pesto was huisgemaakt met een twist, niet de traditionele donkergroene, maar een heerlijke verfrissende licht groene variant. Mijn wijntje werd geschokken in een glas met eigen logo en deze had zeker geen last van hoogtevrees😉 goed gevuld en perfect op temperatuur. Prachtige tent met heerlijk uitzicht en eerlijk hardwerkend personeel. Horeca op zijn best! Bedankt voor de belevenis. Groetjes een conculega!

Super lekker gegeten. Aziatische spies is een aanrader. Service mag iets minder vragen of alles naar wens is. Heb hetzelfde meisje wel 10 keer die avond horen vragen aan onze tafel of alles naar wens was. Aardig maar iets te veel. Sfeer is top, ga zo door.

Erg lekker eten betaalbare prijzen

Sinds 2019 kom ik met regelmaat bij dit superleuke restaurant. Lekker wandelen en dan eten. Eerlijk is eerlijk; ik heb altijd het gevoel dat ik in een topchef restaurant kom; het eten is altijd goed. Of het nu een bitterbal is (geloof me zelfs die kunnen ze elders verkloten) of de ossenhaaspuntjes. Alles is top en erg lekker. Geen michelin-sterren, maar wel sterrengerechten en attent vriendelijk personeel. Helaas is ook hier een avondje uit flink duurder geworden door met name drankjes. Eten is betaalbaar. Uiensoep (aanbevolen!) voor € 7,- Carpaccio € 14,25 hoofdgerecht zo’n € 19,- met meer dan voldoende (frietjes los bestellen maar is niet nodig. Voldoende garnering) Cappuccino € 3,45 Met € 3,45voor een bakkie slaan we in Nederland door. Maar goed dat ligt aan ons beleid niet aan hen :)
