We had Christmas brunch yesterday and went bowling. It was highly recommended. It was atmospheric and the food was excellent.

Six of us had a delicious three-course meal last Saturday night. We paid a hefty bill, plus a €20 tip. As we were leaving, we thought, "I think we need to arrange something before we leave by car." So we went to the bar and had to pay €1 per car. Really underwhelming when you've just spent well over €400 on a meal there. "The guy behind the bar explained that these were the rules :-(" And as we were leaving, the barrier opened automatically, without us having to scan the QR code receipt? I hope you'll do something about this.

Food was delicious, staff was friendly

During a phone call, I made a reservation for lunch for 9 people and agreed that even if we were all 9, we would have a choice from the group menu. The receptionist had to check this out specifically. Unfortunately, I was forced to bring our dachshund. The dog wasn't allowed in the restaurant, but it was in the brasserie. I have a different idea of ​​a brasserie than a table in the hotel lobby. There, they had set the table for 8 people instead of 9. Plates and cutlery for one were placed on a corner of the table. Then we were given the lunch menu. That hadn't been agreed upon, but even after speaking with the manager, it turned out there was no other option than the lunch menu. If I had been alone, I would have left. But with 9 people from all over the country, it's hard to find something different. The food was decent, and we had a good time together. But it left a bad taste in my mouth. You think you've arranged everything perfectly, and then it turns out everything isn't. Not something I'll be repeating.

The room's cleaning could be a bit better. The room was a bit dusty in some places. Maybe it hadn't been used for a while, but I don't know. Otherwise, it was fine.

The food was good, but it was very busy. I would have liked to know the sushi was warm instead of cold. That's a different experience.

Had a group of 10. We ordered appetizers, drinks, dinner and desert. The food was excellent. Steaks were cooked to the proper temperature, fish was fresh and flaky, the burger was tasty with crispy fries, and the duck beat was tender and not fatty. Overall a positive experience and don't miss the chocolate lava desert! Highly recommended restaurant.

Great place. It took a while to find it; I thought I was wrong. But it's beautifully situated on the water. The terrace is fantastic; what an oasis of peace. Despite being almost full, it was wonderfully peaceful. We enjoyed the excellent food and very friendly service.

Went for lunch on a sunny day. What a beautiful setting. The spacious terrace is surrounded by lush greenery and a large water feature. Add to that nice and quick service and delicious food and the afternoon is fantastic. Very nice spot!

It's not often I would write a review about a manager, but the one here is what you'd look for in a manager. He was all over the place greeting customers, pitching in to help his staff, just doing all the things that needed doing. Well done for sure.

The food and staff are downright bad. Ate several times and always disappointing in terms of taste, freshness of products, etc. The terrace on the water is wonderful. Staff are often stressed (to the point that the service and kitchen were swearing at each other in front of guests). It is a nice terrace for a coffee, but for a meal I advise you to go somewhere else.

Quite strange that if you want to eat something quickly in a hotel restaurant after checking in, between lunch and dinner, there are no small dishes such as a sandwich, toasted sandwich or even bread with croquette! It comes with fries, so you can't order them separately! Up-sales are important but this is bizarre. Let me start that the wait staff, the guys, are very friendly. For dinner the menu appeals to me, but what comes out of the kitchen does not! Had the jackfruit cocktail as a starter, it was a very greasy bite and had little taste. Even so greasy that after a few bites it became too much for me. When I picked it up, I passed this on to the waiter (more than three-quarters was still on the plate), who passed this on to the manager in the dining room! He looked at it for a moment and walked to the kitchen... that was it! Don't just come by to ask how or what, nothing! No response at all. I'm used to quite a bit of fat, but this was excessive. Went to the room feeling nauseous and threw up. My daughter had the salad with fried camembert, thinking that you get a delicious piece of camembert, which is sprouting, on your plate with salad around it. Hard pieces that tasted nothing like camembert...onion soup was watery and had little flavor. Breakfast: seems extensive, there is no love in terms of layout and taste. Hummus from containers from wholesaler (Hanos/Sligro) thrown into a bowl. home-made tuna salad...just mashed and completely tasteless, as is the warm side of scrambled eggs etc. In short, not recommended... one can improve so much here in a simple way!

We booked one night at Mitland and had dinner at this restaurant. First, a staff brought wrong food to our table and there was an argument between the one who took order and the one who brought food to our table. My husband order burger and it was aweful. The burger is hard as if it was left for a few days, the beef was just a bit warm as if they just reheated (not freshly cooked). I ordered the roasted beef salad and the beef was entirely cold. I also ordered bread with herbutter and again the bread was just a bit warm! And my onion soup was very salty, hardly said it was onion soup! We asked the bill and the staff asked us to come to the bill machine to get the bill and go to card machine to pay. We dont understand what kind of service is that in a 4-star hotel. And the price is expensive. I would say it was overpriced compared to what it offered. Wont recommend this place.

Good service but extremely expensive for the quality of the food

Food really bad. Sushi with cooked salmon, the burger had hard pieces Salad I ordered at lunch was not what was described (goat cheese with plums, hazelnuts and walnuts) but a bowl of lettuce with a slice of goat cheese on top. When I asked about it I was given some walnuts. Bizarre, for €15. Service extremely bad You expect good food from the prices, which it is quite expensive. And you also expect more from a restaurant in a large hotel.

Restaurant à éviter. Ils ne savent pas cuisiner. Le burger est soit disant haché grossièrement (sur la carte) comme nous l’aimons mais à l’arrivée c’est un steak compact et Immangeable. Sans compter que tous les ingrédients n’y sont pas. Autre plat testé : brochette de poulet. Mangeable !!!!! Mais c’est tout. Et des plats à 26€. Passez votre chemin chez Mac Do c’est meilleur.

Zeer slechte prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. eten is redelijk tot ok (en niet meer an dat). Prijzen zijn echt belachelijk voor wat je krijgt. Zie bv. Bijgevoegde “ kaasplateau” . Paar lullige flintertjes kaas. En dat voor 15 euro.

Superlocatie aan het water op een zomerdag, vriendelijk personeel maar wat ik al had gelezen: de prijs kwaliteitverhouding is flink scheef. Saté van 26,50 was smaakvol maar niet bijzonder veel (1 stokje) met wat kleine zure augurkjes, een hoopje atjar en 4 kroepoekjes. De frietjes waren ook niet bijzonder. Collega had lamskoteletjes, heb nog nooit zulke platte plakjes gezien. De hoeveelheid Shakshuka viel ook tegen en de desserts waren ook klein. Dat verwacht je niet voor zulke prijzen! Voor mij een geval “leuk voor een keer maar niet meer”.

Helaas niet de kwaliteit die ik verwacht had. Meer kroeghapniveau dan hotelwaardig. Duur voor wat je krijgt.

Wir waren bisher nur an der Bar, diese hat aber absolut überzeugt. Tolle Auswahl, schneller, freundlicher Service und Barkeeper, die immer für ein flotten Spruch oder ein wenig Smalltalk zu haben sind haben uns den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht und uns die Abende versüßt. Mit einem der Barkeeper habe ich mich so gut verstanden, dass er mir sogar einen Espressotini gemixt hat obwohl er nicht auf der Karte steht. Tiptop.

Heel goed hotel voor een weekendje Utrecht

Heel gezellig en toegankelijk. Mooie aankleding en je word hartelijk ontvangen. Een aanrader.

Zag er goed uit. Echter de smaak is niet wat je mag verwachten van een gerecht in een restaurant. Ook de burger was nog koud en rauw van binnen. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding ligt te ver uit elkaar. Te prijzig!

Fijn hotel. Ze maken er voor de gasten het beste van tijdens de lockdown. Electrisch laden is verbetering mogelijk. De auto moet helemaal aan het einde van het hotel en als daar ook je kamer is, dan is het een flink eind want je moet naar de hoofd ingang, ook al zijn er tussenin elektrische deuren. Verder een fijne en mooie plek, vriendelijke medewerkers. We ontbijten hier af en toe, en dat is over het algemeen ok. Verse producten zijn niet altijd vers en zelfs een roerei van verse eieren is teveel gevraagd. Het is ei poeder (idd getver), je herkent het aan waterige op de bodem. De veelgebruikte smoes is dat er geen verspilling is, maar smaak heeft het ook niet. Voor kinderen is het ontbijt prima, alleen de lunchkaart bestaat voor het kindermenu alleen uit frituur. Geen gezond broodje, geen uitzondering. Het is simpelweg niet kindvriendelijk.

Geen eten buiten, het was 19 graden en heerlijk weer.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Prachtige locatie. Zeer hoge kwaliteit eten en drinken. Mooi en sfeervol ingericht. Redelijke prijzen.

Tijdens ons wekelijkse uitstapje hebben we voor onze zaterdagse lunch voor het eerst een bezoek gebracht aan dit restaurant. Het is een mooie grote zaak die uit verschillende gedeeltes bestaat. Je hebt er aan de achterzijde uitzicht op een deel van de gracht die bijna geheel ‘Fort de Bildt’ omgeeft. We hebben er genoten van een smakelijk lunchgerecht. Het bedienend personeel was vriendelijk en attent. Het was er toen wij er waren niet druk.

Leuke vergaderlocatie. Goed ontbijt en lunch

Mooi terras aan het water, erg lekker gegeten, vriendelijke bediening. Een klein minpuntje; Helaas was er geen port terwijl die wel op de kaart stond.

Verstopt prachtig gelegen terras met goede service. Gelegen in, achter Midland hotel. Niet doorrijden, maar in de zon aan het water genieten

The view is great, but you have to arrive through the hotel which is kinda meh. Also, their offering in drinks and food is very mainstream, including the way of plating. Friendly service though.
