Had a delicious meal in a great atmosphere.

Service is extremely poor. First had to wait 20 min to get attention and the drinks and food menu. The orders were not fulfilled. Had to walkt 2 times myself to the bar to get the ordered drinks like in a self service canteen. Waiters never look at the customers to spot their needs. Very disappointing experience. I am coming to the restaurant for the last 15 years. But the last two times the service was not existing. While this restaurant was known in the area for their great experience. The food and the atmosphere is great.

This was my second time eating here with a group. The food is delicious, not exactly cheap, but excellent value for money. The service is friendly. Because the tables aren't too close together and there's little to no background music, it's easy to eat with a group and still hear each other. Everything looks neat and tidy. Excellent restaurant!

The booking initially didn't go over well. Thanks to the host's flexible attitude, everything turned out fine. The service was young and relatively inexperienced, but that certainly had its charm. You could see how much they wanted to do things right. Highly recommended, and I'd definitely return!

Beautiful location, but the service was simply inadequate. There were too few staff, which made things difficult, including the wrong order and the slowness with drinks. We arrived at the table at 7:30, and the main course didn't arrive until after 10. The food was definitely not good enough for the price. In other words, disappointing!

We had a meeting at this restaurant with OK retail managers from all over the Netherlands. What a lovely location! A beautiful space for the meeting, a welcome with delicious coffee, tea, and delicious pastries, a very decent lunch, and later in the day, drinks. There was a selection of wine and soft drinks, but not what I'd like. I asked if they had anything I'd like to drink, and they served it with a very friendly smile. And then there's the passion for the profession, which I really appreciate.

A cozy, informal atmosphere, a pleasant ambiance, a varied menu, beautifully presented dishes, and excellent service with a personal touch. We'll definitely be back.

All in all, a disappointing experience. The location is excellent, just outside Utrecht and easily accessible with ample parking. However, the food was disappointing. The Caesar salad was uninspiring, and we weren't particularly impressed with the tuna salad either. Add to that a staff member who thinks he's a jokester, and the result is rather unpleasant. It's a viable option for a quick business lunch, but there are plenty of better options.

This was a great venue for a 60th wedding anniversary. The staff was helpful and attentive. The location is a bit unusual, but the restaurant is beautiful and well-maintained.

This beautiful restaurant is situated in a unique location. There's ample parking, even for an electric car. A stunning entrance and a beautifully decorated building. Very friendly staff with expertise in fine wines. The menu is packed with delicious dishes, making it difficult to choose. The chef's surprise menu is therefore highly recommended. Wonderful presentation and delicious flavors. And all this for a very reasonable price. We left the gentlemen a generous tip, which was more than deserved! Thank you for a wonderful evening! The food was pricey for the quality we received. The vegetarian options were truly meager. What was on the menu (which wasn't much to begin with) was partially unavailable.

We ate here yesterday, and frankly, the restaurant is overpriced for the quality it delivers. Half the menu was unavailable, meaning there was nothing for vegetarians to choose from. The dishes were small, bland, and not what you'd expect for the price. Not recommended.

I hadn't been to Zuiver in Utrecht for a while. I went for dinner again last Friday, but unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. First of all, the service was not very friendly, and a bit messy. They forgot to put down cutlery even though the dish had already been served. The first glass I drank was simply dirty, hadn't been cleaned, and lip prints were still on it. The food, well... the most ordered appetizer in the Netherlands is on the menu, but it's out of stock?!! The alternative, salmon, was also nothing special. The rest of the food from our other table companions wasn't very special either. Such a shame! It's a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere, but ultimately, people come for the food. Zuiver is certainly not the cheapest, but the quality was unfortunately completely lacking.

If you enjoy a pleasant atmosphere and good food, then Zuiver is highly recommended. Free parking.

Restaurant Zuiver has been around for many years and I have been there a number of times now. The quality is constant. The atmosphere is fine for a business lunch or dinner. The service is also excellent. However, it's starting to get a bit boring. Not much has changed over the years. It's not really refreshing anymore.

Everything you expect from a restaurant. If you want to eat well, you don't expect to be disappointed. In our opinion, Zuiver exceeded expectations. We do that often.

My favorite restaurant in the Utrecht Leidsche Rijn area. Always great service, good wines, varied, high-quality and beautifully served dishes. My special love is the white tablecloths on the tables on the terrace 🤩. Very atmospheric - unusual paintings on the walls in the hall will not leave you indifferent. Excellent arrangement of tables, a wall with wine racks behind the bar and good pleasant lighting. Definitely recommend for any occasion.

After being so impressed with Zuiver Amersfoort, I also tried Utrecht, and I have to say, it was excellent. A lovely terrace, friendly and attentive service, and a delicious meal.

Buffet?? Too bad. Combo would have been nice but the music in this room (not restaurant) was way too loud. We found everything very mediocre.

Lousy service. Sorry. Now for the 2nd time put on the terrace with bad service. Remains of the snack were not cleared away. Dinner was just put in between. Skipping people with taking orders. The price quality is also not fair. The 2nd time with a few colleagues on the terrace. The drinks came 1 by 1. The first had already finished their beer before the last got their drink. The service was talking about chaos inside. There were only a few guests. This is really a restaurant I will not go to again.

Unfortunately it was a bit disappointing and that is mainly because the service was not really in the mood and the service should have compensated for the lack of love for the food. Because the burrata ball with pesto was fine in itself, but not for 17 euros and the diamond hare of 30 euros was almost well-done (which I think is a shame to send back) with a not very tasty chimichurri. The Panacotta was tasty, but lacked all the other promised garnish and then 15 euros is quite expensive. Every time you had to wait a long time for a drink (unfortunately no pro-active check-in) and it is always a shame that you are served the wine after you have almost finished the dish. And pouring red wine into the same glass where the white wine was previously is still acceptable in a brown café, but not in a restaurant like this. I think the young lady who served us could not do much about it, she should have been trained much better. The location itself is very beautiful, but the total picture is so lacking that I do not dare to go there with guests anymore.

Nice place outside and certainly also inside. Atmosphere therefore a big pass. But a neat glass of wine (content just above the curvature) that was not self-evident. And that is really allowed for 7 euros.

Had a great meal in honor of my birthday. Aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, necessary drinks and coffee. Nothing to complain about. Small note, from a non-fish lover. Maybe add one or two meat dishes. Of the three that were on it, one was already sold out.

Do you want to be surprised exclusively and very extensively? Zuiver is the name you have to remember. We chose the 5-course dinner and that was a fantastic experience. Outside on the terrace (it was 25 degrees) it was very pleasant. The service is just very nice and patient (which was necessary with us haha). Thanks!!

Unfortunately a bit disappointed. Ambiance and decoration nice, but quality of food was definitely not worth the price. Dishes were lukewarm/cold (too long under the lamp). And I was looking forward to the Pulpo, but it was tough and without sauce so very dry. In general much too expensive for what you get on your plate. Wine was good on the other hand. Service was nice, but did not look around at all so we had to try very hard several times to finally make eye contact. 180€ for 3 people, without dessert, is really too expensive. And you don't pay for the license there either: it is in the middle of an industrial estate.

In a word, EXCELLENT. 👍👍 Top location, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food.

Passed over the experience of saying goodbye to an old colleague. Experience so far is that there was ample parking, a beautiful outdoor area and a warm welcome. It looked neat and tidy, I had a cup of coffee and toasted my old colleague, who unfortunately died too young. The service was neatly dressed and very professional and polite.

Great place for business food, both lunch and dinner. The kind that many people go to Van de Valk for. However, Zuiver is more intimate, cozier, with better food and better service. The accessibility is absolutely fantastic.

Delicious food. Even on a Monday evening it is pleasantly busy. As a result, the staff has their "hands full" and may have to wait a little longer. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable.

In an ideal location near the highway in the center of NL. Inside you don't notice the location and it is cozy and atmospheric. Excellent staff create a nice atmosphere, business and private.

The food was fine! Just took a very long time. After 1.5 hours we were still waiting for our starter plates to be removed. That was a shame.

Nice place, good first impression. The food was excellent and prepared with care. The service was not very customer-oriented, comments about the newly painted table that quickly wore out, drawing attention to the fact that you saw a lot of dust-like things on it when the sun fell on it. Expressing surprise that your colleague had not left the glasses for another round of drinks. All a bit clumsy and redundant information as far as we are concerned and not in line with the ambiance it wants to convey.

Er was voor 22 personen een lunch afgesproken, wij moesten 275 euro betalen voor de Herenkamer van 12.00-15.00 uur!! Voor 13 euro kregen wij water, koffie of thee en voor 125 euro verse jus. Voor 23,50 euro kregen wij een slap aftreksel, wat bij navraag uiensoep bleek te zijn en enkele broodpunten met onduidelijke vulling, soms kon je na een hap nog niet zeggen wat het was, veel is ook blijven staan. Het enige wat smaakte waren de broodjes kroket....

Had a delicious meal last night at Restaurant Zuiver in Utrecht. Reception was hospitable, food delicious and the speed of service top. I like the atmosphere in the restaurant. In short, highly recommended for a meal. Oh yes, parking is possible.

The place is lovely, the staff very attentive and professional. Explaining with a lot of detail everything, but the price is too much. A 3 course menu of coppa di parma, a meat based second and a tiramisu can't be 46 euros.... Definitely overpriced for what you get.

We had dinner at Zuiver with a number of colleagues. The food was delicious, the service fast and friendly. The atmosphere was casual. I have made reservations for small groups before and I always receive only positive feedback from my colleagues. The accessibility and parking are great. Important for me because my colleagues usually have to come from everywhere.

The restaurant is very well located: close to A2, just outside Utrecht, and with a large private parking. This makes it a great place for a lunch or dinner, where everyone comes by car. Beautiful atmospheric location, have been a number of times now. This time, however, was very disappointing. The service was way too slow; After waiting 2 hours there was still no food on the table. Drinks were taken but not served. The accompanying glass of wine with the main course was only poured after we had asked for it twice. The food itself was tasty, if it weren't for the fact that there was a hair in it. In the end the coffee was on the house. All in all, not the best for a basically fine restaurant. Missed opportunity, especially for that price.

The food was very tasty, just a shame about the cold soup! Service was a bit stiff, had to get going in the beginning and an error in the bill (2 bottles of wine instead of 1) is very sloppy. The worst thing for me was that we were put in the party room without being informed in advance. So you are not sitting in the cozy restaurant at Christmas, but in a large banquet hall. It didn't feel good and I will never make a reservation here at Christmas again. Really a shame.

The visit was a major disappointment. However, it started well: we were nicely welcomed by the maître when he accepted the coats, the atmosphere was excellent, neat decoration. After this it went downhill: after taking our order, the waitress thought there were no oysters and that turned out to be the case (Saturday evening! "best evening of the week" and no oysters!), the cheesecake and trifle were also "on". The steak tartare did not contain an egg yolk, but upon inquiry it turned out that it had already been mixed into the steak. The waitress could not tell us which part of the chicken was in the chicken dish ("there are pieces of chicken in it"), the fries were dry (air fryer?) , the fourme d'ambert dominated the rest of the dish (smaller piece of cheese or other cheese). We were regularly passed by, the maître was also just eating in the restaurant, cleared something at another table and continued eating, his loose shirt came out from the back of his jacket; he did not pay attention to the 2 young waitresses, the table was dirty after the main meal (oil on a wooden tray), but was not wiped down. Positive things: the tournedos was fine, the modified "steak tartare" tasted good, the maitre'd had a good explanation of the wines. Tip: give your staff some training (serving from the right, paying attention to the guests) and make sure the menu is in stock or indicate it in advance, not after ordering. We were looking forward to the visit, but we won't be back. This could easily have been prevented, so take advantage of it.

Nice and cozy restaurant, hidden in an industrial estate in Utrecht. As you drive there, you wonder if you are on the right track. But once inside, you are truly in a special place. A large space with friendly staff who take dietary and eating wishes into account. They also come to check several times whether everything is in order. The food was delicious, the 5-course menu was perhaps even a bit too much. But a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

A mensa meal for fine dining prices. And you can wait 90 minutes for your starter (tomato soup). Staff is friendly but service is very slow, the excuse of staff shortages is given but it appears from other reviews that this is a structural problem. Do not offer a 4/5 course menu on your website if you have been structurally unable to deliver this for (at least) 2 months.

And when I got it it was still bland and not of quality. How are you going to justify this as a restaurant? Not! No compensation, nothing. My colleague got cold food, just bizarre. I have an old piece of meat that would even give my dog ​​a stomach ache. You know what, I'm not wasting any more words. Hungry Man's tip: Don't go! Save your money and eat something else.
