If you’re looking for the REAL millennial burger joint, than this is it. The overpriced special burger was pretty mid, I could cook better and Im not even a good cook, their side is a literal pickle, you have to order fries seperately. The fries tasted like they were harvested last year, pretty stiff and crunchy, and if you like hard cheese with them then this is for you. Can’t complain about the service, they were very nice. The atmosphere was interesting to say the least, everything was way too loud with the open kitchen. The only thing missing for this beautiful millenial burger joint was a bearded cook with a man-bun

Wally's used to be known for a good burger.... Years later, I returned with colleagues and was quite ashamed that I recommended this place. A premium-priced burger that is closer to a fancy snack bar meal than what it should have been. What a disappointment

I loved it, it's just a shame you can't make reservations because I had to wait about 10 minutes to get a table, but it was definitely worth it. Personally, I highly recommend the vanilla milkshake, it was really delicious, and the Wally burger with fries was really, really delicious.

Good burgers and food but definitely pricey. The flavors are interesting: this is not your average burger place. That being said, the prices are also higher than your average burger place. €21,5 for a burger, without any sides, is too much for the average person. €18,5 for a vanilla milkshake is also too much, even if it is delicious.

The burger is fine, but the price is excessive. The soft drinks are from that sugary junk brand. The open kitchen stinks at the back of the restaurant. They don't have change if you want to pay in cash. Unkempt and boring wait staff. First and last time for us.

2 honorary burgers, 1 portion of fries shared with two, 1 Ginger Beer and 1 canned IPA beer...... €61.90 WTF. I don't complain about the price easily, but if you charge that much for a hamburger that I make better myself, and the burger is only so-so, then you get this review.

Very good hamburgers with unique toppings. The Wally fries are also great. I find the price on the high side for a burger with fries, but you do get something special for it.

Great place to eat a tasty burger. I had a very good Cheeseburger myself. Two of my table companions went absolutely wild for the Ereburger, the special of the evening!! Highly recommended for a simply good burger!!

Everything is insanely expensive, but the food is absolutely not worth the price. We ordered three hamburgers, two beers, a cola, and fries, and the total bill came to 75 euros. The Woliburger was undercooked, the salad was meager, and overall, it wasn't tasty. I do not recommend this café. All the food was cold.

I ordered a simple cheese burger and my girlfriend ordered the mushroom burger. The burgers were cold, the taste was not good at all. Although once the service was informed of this, they told us the fries were on the house. The home-made lemonades were tasteless as well...

One of the best burgers in the Nijmegen area. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they're also happy to accommodate children. The burgers are truly delicious and perfectly cooked, and the fries are truly outstanding. Add a Wally beer and you have the perfect meal.

The best hamburgers I've ever eaten. From the homemade bun to the juicy patty and the delicious sauces, they simply serve the perfect hamburgers. And they also have great beers, homemade lemonade, or wine. The atmosphere is also very good. I've known this place for about 15 years, and the quality of the food is still top-notch!

Unfortunately, smoking is prohibited, and only card payments are accepted. Dogs are welcome. The food is okay. They offer burgers in various styles, but I'd never had fries with sauerkraut before. It was a bit unusual. A little expensive. Drinks are also a bit pricey. Fries are €6, burgers (starting at) €17 and up, and drinks like shandy are €4 and cola is €3.40. The prices are quite excessive. And fries with sauerkraut just don't taste good. Yes, it really is sauerkraut.

We always come back here when we want some good burger. The meat is very tasty and juicy also their vegetarian options are nice.

Everything at Wally's is homemade, and they even have their own bakery for fresh rolls every day. Plenty of options for vegetarians too!

You know that moment when you look at your dining companion with your first bite and silently give that approving nod? That's exactly what we had here! Delicious burgers and side dishes that can truly be called soul food. Everything is perfect: soft brioche, juicy burgers, well-balanced with the toppings, and a good size. I opted for an organic meat special, my dining companion for a vegan burger – both were excellent. Wally's own beers were a hit, and to finish off, the carrot cake was highly recommended. Add to that the friendly service and relaxed atmosphere, and I seriously wonder: why haven't we been here before?

We received a friendly welcome and waited inside until a table on the terrace became available. The drinks took a very long time to arrive (a missed opportunity to increase sales), but the burgers were delicious.

We've been coming here for years and it's always a pleasure. Everything with Wally sauce is extra delicious!

I ate at Wally's yesterday. I thought the value for money was really poor. The cheeseburger had no flavor, and you had to pay €5 for an extra patty, so a double cheeseburger was €21. The fries were really expensive for the size (my 10-year-old daughter couldn't get enough with two portions). I won't be back. This one doesn't make my top hamburger list. I don't want to put it on my list because I thought it was that bad. McDonald's or Burger King's cheeseburgers are better value for money. Sorry for my personal opinion, but I'm being honest.

The service at Wally is always very warm. Good location to go with people who eat meat or vegetarian because there are good options for both. The sweet potato fries and milkshakes are a good addition to the burgers!

We visited Nijmegen for a day and looked some good vegan restaurants up on HappyCow and found this one. The burgers were really nice, but I especially like the fries with kimchi. I never encountered such a helpful waiter like here. His help and recommendations were really good and thanks to him I had a delicious vegan meal.

Burger was juicy and full-flavored. Food came on time and fries weren't boring. Cheese could be one more slice. Otherwise everything is perfect! You can tell it's fresh meat.

Had a delicious burger, one of the better burgers I've had. The bun was also fantastic. Together with the milkshake it was great. I personally found the fries a bit too salty, but that's of course just what you like. Friendly service too, definitely recommended and I'll definitely come back when I'm in Nijmegen again.

Had a fantastic meal at Wally restaurant! The burgers are delicious, made with fresh products and perfectly flavored. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. There was a minor miscommunication while ordering, which meant we received the wrong burger, but this was resolved very quickly: the correct burger was on the table within two minutes. Really top service! Definitely recommended and I will definitely come back!

Wow! We were here on a Thursday evening, around 7 p.m. You can't make a reservation but after a short wait we got a table for two. The team was incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. We immediately felt comfortable. The burgers were incredibly tasty. 😋 very well seasoned, special sauce, perfect fresh ingredients, from the homemade bun to the 100% beef patties. The interior is modern and stylish, if a bit minimalistic (cutlery could be of higher quality). The logo/branding is very pleasing and consistent down to the last detail. Love it! Absolute recommendation!

Good experience, the staff are very friendly and the place is nice. Burger was not bad, one of the better ones that I've had in the Netherlands. There are a number of vegetarian burger options as well.

The Wallyburger is a household name in Nijmegen. These delicious burgers are prepared with the secret recipe. You can't make a reservation here and it is always busy. So be on time! The offer is limited to... mainly civilians. But come now! You don't go to Wally for a salad, you come for the Wallyburger!

No longer an insider tip. Burgers made from organic meat and prepared absolutely correctly. I had the Ereburger with pumpkin strips. Well grilled to medium, fluffy bun and pickled pumpkin schnitzel to top it off... very good. Not to forget the wonderful sweet potato fries and the homemade lemonade. Highly recommended and again at any time.

Arguably one of the best burger bars in the centre of town. The homemade wally sauce that is on every burger is exceptionally good.

Unfortunately we had a bad meal for the 2nd time. The burger was luke warm on arrival and cold halfway through. That is at the expense of the taste. After 2 bad experiences we will unfortunately not be back.

While passing through Nijmegen, I was looking for a place where I could eat something delicious and at reasonable prices. I chose Wally, of course based on over a thousand positive opinions. We sat outside as it was a warm day. Unfortunately, the street did not cooperate with us. I mean the frequent passing motorcycles that generated so much noise that we had to interrupt the conversation. Moving on to the food - we ordered: - Homemade lemonade lemon - Wallyburger - Ereburger - Sweet potato fries There was a feeling in the lemonade that it was far from one prepared only from fresh ingredients. It had a chemical aftertaste. I definitely expected something different from "homemade lemonade" The fries were just ok. There was nothing extraordinary or outclassing about them. When it comes to the main dishes, unfortunately I do not share the opinion. It was definitely not the best burger I've ever eaten. I'm a huge fan of American sandwiches and I found that these burgers definitely lacked that something. I can't say they were inedible. They were just meant to be eaten once. The ingredients were correct, but for me the whole thing did not create a perfect unity, an explosion of flavor. In the case of Ereburger, the taste was definitely dominated by Bleu d'Evert cheese. The rest of the ingredients didn't have a chance to cut through the intense flavor of the cheese. The nuts were a very interesting addition, but as I mentioned, they got lost in the cheese, just like the quilted chicory. A plus for the meat, which was juicy. The staff was very nice and smiling, they did their job very well.

The burgers taste very good and very nice service. There are also vegetarian burgers.

I generally found the vegetarian falafel burger very tasty, but I think it was still a bit dry at times. The Homemade Ice Tea was okay, a little lacking in taste. The regular fries with the mayo was good. But the service was perfect, you were welcomed in a friendly manner and you could also communicate perfectly in English.

The Food was a just a blast⚔️ The Burger was perfectly medium grilled und handy to eat. The Fries were just perfect with each component. On a Tuesday evening on a calm seat with a comfy seat outside and a very polite waiter was everything such a vibe!

It was by far one of the best burgers I've eaten. The home-baked buns were super fluffy, the meat was well seasoned, the pickle was delicious - everything was perfect. The fries were also very, very tasty. Service was friendly and uncomplicated. I would want to come back any time!

Service was slow. Not the best burger I've had. The hamburgers lacked flavour. Maybe a little salt would have helped to bring out the flavour. I had the wally fries but I did not like them one bit. The kimchi taste was quite overpowering.
