Ristorante Pizzeria Sorrento Leiden in Binnenstad-Zuid

Very fast service, delicious food, cozy atmosphere in the restaurant itself. We had a wonderful evening!

Terrible service, pizza quality is severely substandard. A real shame.

Great family restaurant. Simple but tasty menu, affordable prices.

The best pizza and pasta in Leiden. Deliciously fresh. Cozy indoor seating, nice atmosphere, friendly owner. And exceptionally high-quality dishes; you will never be disappointed with your choice.

By far the most boring Italian meal I've ever had. The pizza tasted of absolutely nothing. The small salad consisted of canned corn, a few slices of cucumber and tomato, and lettuce. I can't say whether there was oil on it, but the salad definitely had way too much vinegar. All in all, a disappointing visit.

The food was delicious: authentic Italian pizza and homemade pasta. We were there as a family.

Me and my mates just wanted to have a quiet pint, but we were simply sent away. Wanne ball tent dude.

The food was very mediocre to be honest… I had a tuna pizza and my partner had a pasta carbonara. They were both inedible, and it looked like my tuna pizza was a swimming pool with the amount of oil on my pizza. And I don't even want to talk about the amount of TUNA itself that was on my PIZZA. With that, I can't even feed my half-born hamster with the amount of tuna on my pizza. And oh boi...don't get me started on that old man in the kitchen. Old gray man is grumbling in Italian all the time and seemed angry all the time. It was also really because I had taken that mid limoncello, otherwise I would have given him a right elbow on the temple twice. Waiters were okay… husband didn't even know if he was giving me a tuna pizza. And they didn't look at us because we still wanted to order In short: this place is very mediocre. Do not go.

Unfortunately, I have to share my recent experience at this Italian restaurant, and I'm sorry to say it was not a positive one. The pastas we ordered were tasteless and resembled something that came straight from the microwave at the AH. The pizzas had more oil than tomato sauce and the toppings were nothing to speak of. As for the atmosphere, the chef's shouting from the kitchen was unmistakable and did not contribute to a pleasant dining experience. It was disappointing to see that our table was not cleared during our entire visit, leaving us to eat among piles of dirty crockery. Moreover, the service was far below par. We had to repeatedly ask for the bill and it took way too long before we could even order (we had to wait 30 minutes for both the bill and ordering...). The waiters also didn't seem to be well informed about the menu, which only added to the overall frustration. All in all, I expected more from an Italian restaurant in the center of Leiden. It was a disappointing experience that I will not soon forget. Hopefully this will change soon, if the chef isn't shouting for once...

Always a pleasure to eat there!!!

Atmospheric environment. Food not special. Actually better at home. Nice boy in the service

The owner is a scoundrel who grumbles and approaches you aggressively. If you don't like something, he will aggressively tell you how you could possibly not like something. And then you get substandard pasta as a replacement

Fantastisch.

Eten is goed..echt Italiaans..zonder franje.

Super netter Service!

Decent food and price. I was most impressed by the building and the atmosphere.

Leuke bediening, jonge mensen. Prima voorgerecht. De pizzas vielen echter erg tegen. En bijzonder prijzig!

I got the recommendation person who come from Sorrento I expected nice dinner However, this place is No worth for the money. Maybe pizza is alright but others; service, salad, meat, cold bread are really disappointing .

Mijn favoriete restaurant ooit.

The best Italian restaurant in Leiden. Highly recommended!!

Lekkere pizza, goeie service!

Nice ambiance, good food, kind personnel. Nothing to complain about.

Super lekker gegeten! Echt Italiaans

Our kids call this "our pizza place" with good reason. We've had dinner and takeaway here many times the last years. Always yummy pizza and pasta without pretence or overpricing. Highly recommended!

Super goed Italiaans restaurant 🍷😊

Heerlijk!

Heerlijke pizza’s!! En niet duur.

Vanavond super lekker gegeten! Top!😘

De enige echt gezellige pizzeria in Leiden. Kom hier al jaren. Knusse sfeer en goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding

Heerlijke pizza’s en leuk geholpen.

very good pizza and good service

Fijne sfeer onder het hoge plafond. Zeer smakelijk gegeten, ook van haar bord :)

Great antipasti, great pizza, great lasagna, great pasta. Did I mention the limoncello tiramisu? Amazing, just like the prices. Cannot fathom the one star review on "rude service" and hard pizza*. We came for a second time, back and forth from Leeuwarden, by train, totally worth it.

Amazing pizza and pastas. The fresh pastas are very tasty.
