Not good! The two dishes for my husband and me were served 15 minutes apart. The bill was also incorrect. We hadn't ordered a glass of red wine at all, but we only realized this back at the hotel. So: poor service and mediocre food.

Great pizzas at affordable prices

After waiting for more than 50 minutes for the food, even though it wasn't busy, we paid for our drinks. With the message that we didn't want the food anymore, all sorts of excuses, and we didn't even receive the bread rolls that were supposed to be served as starters. Sorry, as a customer, I don't care about that. We used to come here often, but this was the last time. Everything was getting a bit worse every time, and this was the final straw. A shame, a real shame.

Absolutely amazing experience! The pasta was pure perfection — rich, flavorful and cooked exactly right. The portion sizes were incredible. The decor and service were excellent. Some of the carpaccio was still slightly frozen. The pasta was a bit bland. The salami on the pizza tasted like sliced ​​sausage instead of salami.

I had high expectations for Valentino, but my visit last Tuesday was a huge disappointment. The staff made several mistakes: they didn't write down our order correctly, didn't ask if we wanted another drink, and kept us waiting a long time for our food. The quality of the dishes was far below par, especially considering the prices. For €24, I only received five prawns with a slice of kiwi and some greens on the plate—far too little, and no side dish. The trout (€22) was overcooked and therefore tough, and the Calzone di Mare (€14) was too salty and made with fish that wasn't fresh. Drinks cost over €3.50 for 200ml—ridiculously expensive. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, we were ignored by the staff. The service was clearly incompetent and seemed unable to change anything. Despite this, we paid almost €80 for a mediocre meal that was far from worth the price. Valentino looks like a fancy restaurant, but the quality and service are more typical of a typical cafeteria. I definitely wouldn't recommend it, and I won't be returning.

We have been coming here for years, but this is the last time for us, the new place looks modern, but the service and choice has gone from a 10 to a 1.

Honest advice from a catering expert. Hire a real chef who has an overview. In addition, a chef who can manage the service. Had dinner here today with family. We all had pizza and it was large and delicious. After the main course we all fancied dessert. We ordered two creme brullee and one panna cotta. Waitress came back after ordering to report that the creme brullee had run out and if we wanted something else, we opted for tiramisu. When the desserts arrived we got two tiramisu's but instead of the panna cotta we got creme brullee, even though it was "finished". Passed this on to the waitress who then walked back to the kitchen to report this. In the meantime, let's start on the tiramisu. After a few bites we discovered that instead of chocolate sauce (as indicated on the menu), balcamico glaze had been put over the dessert. This was pointed out to the waitress who then dared to say "this is how it is made". We informed her that the menu contained chocolate sauce and that I don't think balcamico should be on tiramisu. Then we paid without having dessert and left. All in all, the pizza was tasty, but they could improve a lot in terms of service.

When we told us at checkout that we did not think the service was great and that it was not normal that we had to wait so long for our food, we were told that they did not take the crowds into account. Pizzas were bland and the lasagnas were also not tasty. The restaurant looks nice, but the tables are too close together so you can enjoy other people's conversations

The new restaurant is absolutely great

Last night we visited the new Valentino restaurant. Unfortunately, both the food and the service are not in line with the beautiful appearance of the new restaurant. Pain points: - first drink after half an hour - starter: waited more than an hour for it. Mussels in tomato and garlic sauce: tasteless. Onion soup was good. - main course: waited almost an hour again. Meat dish was good as were the fries. Pizzas were not crispy, it was more like harder baked bread. - Salad bar that guests can unpack themselves was almost empty halfway through the evening and was not replenished. - Dessert: we just didn't start anymore. All in all, it was getting quite late because of all the waiting. It was noticed that many people complained about the quality of the food and the long waiting times. It's a shame that the evening turned out this way. I wish the owners their success in a new restaurant, but if they want to live up to the image, a lot still needs to be done. Oh yes, the bill for 4 people with some drinks was just over 150 euros.
