The food is always great, but when you order something they ALWAYS forget half of it and when you call about it and indicate the problem, the waitress responds very nonchalantly as if it doesn't matter to them.

Ate here for the first time and it was good and the wine selection is also okay. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The only thing I really miss is the Italian atmosphere in the restaurant. Maybe a conscious choice, but I think that's a shame.

Pizza quite tasty. It's just a shame that people there are not so friendly. Service doesn't say anything, takes order or delivers food and then leaves, even at checkout the man doesn't say anything about it.

Not a bad environment, it's a shame that a restaurant that calls itself Italian has nothing of that nature: the staff don't speak or understand a word of Italian, the menu is an Italian that not even my illiterate grandfather would have written, they're not even used to bringing salt and oil to dress the salad! We took some meat but even there, between cooking it tasted burnt, and the wrong cut.... In short, at the end of dinner we felt like asking for a ladder and a screwdriver.....

Not a nice restaurant. Staff was disinterested and it was like running and flying. The pizza quattro formaggi fell apart and was lukewarm. Not recommended.

I've never eaten so bad. Dishes are not Italian dishes. Pizza with incredibly salty cheese, no mozzarella, no taste of tomato sauce and dough not made from yeast but with baking powder.

Delicious pizza, service was friendly, it's a pity that my dessert was missing the main ingredient, but I didn't want to complain about it, so that's my own fault, but that's why 4 stars, you have to know what should be in your dessert 😉 we will definitely eat there again!

Normally the food at Valentino's is really good, but not this time. I got food poisoning from an oven pasta that I had picked up there.

We would especially like to thank our chef Yusuf Türk. We ate the pizza he prepared specially for us. It was delicious. It's also a very nice place, I recommend it :)

Since they have a new location, we have now picked up food there twice. Also the last time! Pasta with meat is no longer possible, because they are too busy? You're Italian, right? In exceptional cases they were able to do it just once. Not anymore after that! We wanted an extra side dish with the other order, but this was also no longer allowed. Because they didn't earn enough from this and it took too much time. We have been coming here for years, but this is the last time for us, the new place looks modern, but the service and choice has gone from a 10 to a 1.

Honest advice from a catering expert. Hire a real chef who has an overview. In addition, a chef who can manage the service. And hire skilled service, otherwise a beautiful restaurant that certainly has potential in Almelo will quickly end. Please note: you can only skim the market once. Very poor service tonight. Three young girls with a lot of make up so you couldn't tell if they understood you, were giggling all evening. Pizza was lukewarm and had a soft crust. Asked for extra pepper but they couldn't even provide it. Was ignored all evening, so I went to the toilet to get a drink of water.

Had dinner here today with family. We all had pizza and it was large and delicious. Service, on the other hand, is very slow and we were not asked in between whether it was to our liking and whether we wanted any drinks (the glasses had been empty for at least 20 minutes). After the main course we all fancied dessert. We ordered two creme brullee and one panna cotta. Waitress came back after ordering to report that the creme brullee had run out and if we wanted something else, we opted for tiramisu. When the desserts arrived we got two tiramisu's but instead of the panna cotta we got creme brullee, even though it was "finished". Passed this on to the waitress who then walked back to the kitchen to report this. In the meantime, let's start on the tiramisu. After a few bites we discovered that instead of chocolate sauce (as indicated on the menu), balcamico glaze had been put over the dessert. This was pointed out to the waitress who then dared to say "this is how it is made". We informed her that the menu contained chocolate sauce and that I don't think balcamico should be on tiramisu. Then we paid without having dessert and left. All in all, the pizza was tasty, but they could improve a lot in terms of service.

We had dinner at the restaurant tonight. We were extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the food, while the service was okay. The pasta carbonara was tasteless and incredibly greasy. Moreover, the pizza quattro stagioni was very watery, limp and again tasteless. We left with a stomach ache and we left the food behind. Certainly not recoverable, even after the renewal.

Restaurant was full. It took a very long time before we were helped and we had to wait an hour for the starter and then another 45 minutes for the main course. Also received wrong dishes. Yesterday we had dinner at Valentino. When we came in it was already quite busy. All the tables were too close together so you didn't really have any privacy. Service was bad. Only after 20 minutes were we asked if we wanted drinks and after half an hour of waiting we received a menu card. After ordering our food, we had to wait more than an hour and a half for 2 pizzas and 2 lasagnas and in the meantime we were not asked once if we wanted something to drink. When we told us at checkout that we did not think the service was great and that it was not normal that we had to wait so long for our food, we were told that they did not take the crowds into account. Pizzas were bland and the lasagnas were also not tasty. The restaurant looks nice, but the tables are too close together so you can enjoy other people's conversations

The new restaurant is absolutely great

Last night we visited the new Valentino restaurant. Unfortunately, both the food and the service are not in line with the beautiful appearance of the new restaurant. Pain points: - first drink after half an hour - starter: waited more than an hour for it. Mussels in tomato and garlic sauce: tasteless. Onion soup was good. - main course: waited almost an hour again. Meat dish was good as were the fries. Pizzas were not crispy, it was more like harder baked bread. - Salad bar that guests can unpack themselves was almost empty halfway through the evening and was not replenished. - Dessert: we just didn't start anymore. All in all, it was getting quite late because of all the waiting. It was noticed that many people complained about the quality of the food and the long waiting times. It's a shame that the evening turned out this way. I wish the owners their success in a new restaurant, but if they want to live up to the image, a lot still needs to be done. Oh yes, the bill for 4 people with some drinks was just over 150 euros.

Nice environment, came in and first sat at a dirty table for 10 minutes, here came apologies for excellent pizza. Ordered the wrong pizza after an hour and a half. When we finally got the 2 pizzas, 1 turned out to be not warm and cooked. When I asked the waiter, the cook came and wanted to make it right, but I was done with it at half past eight. What a cozy atmosphere there is in this nice restaurant. After waiting at least an hour we ate delicious lasagna, seafood and sirloin steak. Unfortunately, the crowds that showed up were not expected. Too bad, because a snack in between would have made the wait more pleasant.

Pizzas are very tasty, but something almost always goes wrong. Didn't receive the right pizza, delivered too late, delivered to the wrong address, pizza delivered vertically so all the toppings had slipped off. A shame because the pizzas themselves are very good.

The pizzas were burnt on the crust. It looked as if the base had been pre-baked, the mozzarella and tomato salad was nothing to write home about either, there was a lemon cut into four pieces on top and mozzarella was more like chewing gum. The girl at the counter did her best, but didn't know the difference between oregano and basil. It was noticed that many people did not finish their food and left unsatisfied. We were not asked if everything was satisfactory. They were aware of this themselves and perhaps it was too embarrassing to ask. An Italian wouldn't even give it to his dog.

Had to wait more than 1.5 hours for 3 pizzas. After more than 45 minutes I called when the order had arrived because we had to go to a condolence meeting at 7:00 PM. The best lady on the phone then indicated that the order would be there before 7:00 PM. After 7pm the delivery person arrived... unfortunately it had to be returned because we had to leave. If you know that you cannot deliver on time, it is better not to make any promises. Especially not in the situation we were in.

We were very satisfied, it's a successful restaurant when it comes to pizza, the atmosphere is nice, but I expected an air conditioner inside, it was a bit too hot, other than that, we all liked the place.

Had dinner there with four of us on Friday evening and it was, in a word, fantastic. The lasagna with gorgonzola in particular tasted excellent. Very nice and good service. A plus is the salad bar that you can use unlimitedly.
