Come for the robots, stay for the food and the warm hospitality. It is a gimmick, but a nice one at that, its fun to see the robotic arm mixing your drink. The mocktails were pretty decent. This is an Indian Asian food place. I don't know about the sushi, but one should definitely try the 1) Honey Chilli Potatoes 2) Veg Sizzlers 3) Chai really reminded me of the amazing Indiansed asian food we get. Very yummy. We were served by Ramesh, who was such a warm personality. He was really kind with the kids in the group and helped us out with all the food. Great service. Will visit again to satiate the craving for the taste of home.

The food was great!! The robot making the drinks was really fun to watch as well! Menu has tons of options so everyone can find something they want to eat. Plus the workers were very friendly and helpful.

The robots are a cool concept and the cocktails were also great (much better than i expected). Food took some time to come but was worth the wait. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh, especially the sushi rice. Edit Came for a second time. Service was much faster and the great quality of the food persists. Will consider coming for a again :)

dangerous, please be careful with sushi!!! me and my friend shared a sushi plate which was about 40€. it wasn’t cooled i assume it was standing not refrigerated for quite some while. this is dangerous when it comes to raw fish!!! my friend had an upset stomach already the next day morning i felt it too after some time. pretty sure they gave us a parasite which i am really mad about. i did learn a life lesson ig

exceptional sushi and vibes! I visited this time with my family and … all went amazing about the concept of food & robotic drinks … no wonder how guests rate this restaurant. The restaurant owner and waiters were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious!!! I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in Amsterdam or is visiting the city, cannot be missed! Had an incredible, fun, and delightful experience at this restaurant. Yesterday we visited again with a group of friends, and we enjoyed our evening a lot once again. We will be back ❤️❤️❤️ def worth multiple visits!

Ordered food here and was disappointing! The garlic naan was hard like it had been microwaved, the momos were soggy & slimy, butter chicken was not bad, garlic noodles a bit bland

This place has really good reviews because the owner comes up to you and puts the QR code to leave a review and doesn’t leave until you do. They don’t have a sushi bar and only had salmon and tuna and the tuna was not good and the salmon wasn’t great either. I’ve never left sushi on the table no matter how full I am besides tonight … the wait staff was like on top of you and they forgot the edamame. Music was also suuuuper loud. I wouldn’t recommend for sushi, maybe for burgers or something are better. I wouldn’t trust the reviews due to review inflation lol. I feel bad leaving this review but I just wish I read something like this before picking where I went.

We didn't make a reservation, but there was plenty of room. It's a nice restaurant, a bit dimly lit, but the staff are very friendly and the menu is extensive. The robot arm that makes cocktails is a big gimmick. It's fun, but make sure you clean the spouts. Flies are attracted to them, which isn't exactly hygienic. The cocktail was fine otherwise. The sushi was good, and the curry was quite flavorful. However, the chicken was too dry. All in all, we will definitely return for a quick and tasty meal.

The curry I had was unfortunately too spicy for my taste, but the sushi I tried at my sister's was very good. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the staff is very friendly. The music was a bit loud. The robot show wasn't anything special, but it was quite entertaining. Overall, it's a solid restaurant and you can't really go wrong there.

The Sushi was great, the staff funny and very invested in the robot(which is a fun show to watch) The korean chicken burger was good too but the fried rice with shrimps was a bit bland. Other than that, it was a nice experience.

I saw this place and thought, "I have to try this sometime." Definitely worth the experience! I can't say much about the atmosphere because we went very early and there weren't many people there yet, but it did fill up after a while! 😊 The food was truly delicious; the staff didn't understand us very well, but we managed! The robo-arm that makes your drinks is a really nice addition to a night out, and the cocktail was delicious 😍.

I went to Robo bar with my son on his 18 birthday. The hospitality was super. The personel were very friendly and helpful. We were amazed by the robot arms that were preparing cocktails and drinks. The food was super fresh and very tasty. They serve all types of food. Grilled lamb chops, Sushi, thai, Indian, vegetarian dishes. All and all was superb. We had a great and unforgetable time. Thanks Robo bar for this beautiful experience!

We ate there at the beginning of October – just before the kitchen closed. We still managed to get a delicious meal and cocktails, of course. The owner offered to organize something when he heard it was my birthday. (I declined.)

Great atmosphere, and big choice of food. Yes, robo hands that making cocktails it’s a pretty unique and interesting thing to see. We waited a bit long to be served, and later we received a different meal instead of which we ordered. But the manager was very kind and gave the meal we ordered and we had the wrong meal for free as a compliment, which fixes the whole situation for sure. Taste is good, vibes are great. Thank you

We ordered a gyoza and we received only 4. It's kinda small for the price. The sushi was good. Priced reasonably, but the service can be improved as we waited maybe 25 minutes until our sushi arrived.

A very good Japanese restaurant in central Amsterdam. We had salmon and noodles for two people, plus one water, and paid around €45 in total. It's a very good restaurant for the price.

Apart from the waiter forgetting the tap water everytime, it was a really cool experience to see the only cocktail robot in Europe!:) Oh, and the food was nice as well! And a friendly owner who was very keen explaining to us all about it.

We came for dinner on a weekday evening, and there are several things to say: To start with, the meal was delicious. Nothing to complain about, despite the fact that there's a huge menu, which isn't usually a good sign. Regarding the service, it's like night and day! There was a gentleman who seemed to be the manager, who was great! He welcomed us and was very warm. In short, the two stars are for him; he even deserves five all by himself! Then there was another server... what can I say? We were hoping for his sake that it was his first or last day because it was disastrous... he came to ask us six times if the order was correct before sending it to the kitchen. I understand that I don't speak English like Shakespeare, but I know I speak it better than François Hollande in front of Obama! And finally, the restaurant's flagship item: the cocktail mixer. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to see it in action because after trying to order two spritzes from the server six times, he told us he'd put it into the system, but we didn't get our cocktails. The table next to us got it, and frankly, it's very gimmicky, but it's nice to see. In short, if you have a lot of patience and enjoy good food, this restaurant is for you. If you don't like waiting, you'll have to pray it's this famous server's day off. A big thank you again to the other person who was awesome.

Excellent sushi at very reasonable prices for Amsterdam. The staff was a bit overwhelmed due to a staff shortage, but ultimately managed everything well. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 ... and if you'd like your alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks mixed by one or two robots, this is also the place to go.

The environment is relaxed and comfortable, and the Asian food is also suitable for our taste.

After four visits to this restaurant, several months apart, I've decided to finally leave a review. First of all, the food is excellent, with a wide selection that's perplexing, but the quality is always there. Next, regarding the concept, the idea is well thought out, but everything revolves around a single mechanical arm that half-makes cocktails, which the server takes over to finish the preparation (in short, the robot just adds syrup and ice cubes). Nothing else about the decor or the service fits with this new technology. The concept could have been pushed further. Finally, the service. You can tell the restaurant has a family feel, but a lack of enthusiasm from some of the employees is evident. They drag their feet, don't listen to the order until the end, come back to ask us for our choices, don't know the contents of the menu (we told you it was too long), and finally come and flip through the menu for me and slap me while turning the pages... without apologizing. However, another employee is very eager; you almost feel like he wants to make up for the previous employee's mistakes. This can be a bit excessive at times (he even touches our dishes to straighten them while we're eating). In short, a great restaurant, but it's dragged down by some clumsiness. However, you can tell there's a lot of commitment (but the concept could be further developed). I'd go back for a good meal... and hope I don't get slapped this time.

The worst sushi I’ve ever had. Service was slow. Tuna was dried out, black, and very thin. They couldn’t even get the rice right - it was overcooked and mushy. Do not come here.

We ordered a huge sushi plate and it was okay but not good enough for the high price. The menu was also complicated for no reason it had indian food which looked weird. Cause the rest of the menu items seemed like it was an asian restaurant. We also ordered cocktails which was okay, I found mine too sweet. The robot made one cocktail in 3 minutes so I am pretty sure it is not efficienct they just put the robots to attract attention.

The restaurant is highly recommended. Located in a side street with many other restaurants/bars, a nice, quieter location. We came here for the food, not for the robot. We only noticed this when we ordered. The sushi here tastes very good, very tasty! The cocktails are also good, but unfortunately very overpriced (due to the robot). However, it is a real eye-catcher, especially for children. We were served quickly and in a friendly manner, all in all everything went well, the price was a little more expensive, but this is normal for Amsterdam.

Tourist trap. Stay away. Pros: - The food looked really good, and is presented like the pictures Cons: - The sushi is very cheap quality - Too many menu items (something like 8 pages of items?!) - with too many items, it's very difficult to pick something - overpriced - we were handed the incorrect order stay first and almost started eating. I've seen some other reviews had the same experience - The robot mixer is cool at first, but it's slow. Its more of a gimmick I wish we went to mcdonalds instead to be honest, especially for how much we paid (~70 euro).

the food took about 50 minutes to prepare and the portion sizes were very small. the cocktails are overpriced and the robot machine isn’t that impressive. overall the food was nice though

Fun sushi spot in the heart of Amsterdam . The high light are the fresh sashimi selection, and the fun drinks that get poured by the Robo bar that you can watch as you eat your food. The server was very nice and efficient
