Fantastic restaurant. It looks beautiful in a lovely location. And the food is amazing. The rijsttafel is our favorite. Super good. The staff is very professional, and well-behaved dogs are very welcome.

Enjoyed a delicious and tasty rijsttafel (rice table). The dishes were well-seasoned and the meat juicy and tender. The atmosphere was pleasant. I don't think the music suits the atmosphere; it's too fast-paced.

The food was tasty but lukewarm. But most importantly: the amount of food at the rijsttafel (rice table) for €40 per person is simply unacceptable. Because there's so little in the containers, you automatically end up taking very little. The containers could have been a bit more. The staff tries their best but is too busy. Even asking for extra drinks when the food was served and asking for the bill proved quite a challenge. It took 10 minutes to get the staff's attention. In short, a nice place, the staff tries their best, the food is good but really overpriced for what you get.

Had a wonderful evening with a friend. The service was very friendly and helpful.

We arrived a little early so we enjoyed a drink on the terrace. After that we went for a short walk in the beautiful surroundings. When we returned we were greeted. We ordered Ristafel Guillaume as a main course and Pandan Affogato for dessert. The service was good, friendly and professional. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and very tasty. We can highly recommend Ron Gastro Bar.

The price/quality ratio is completely off here. Constantly having to call for staff attention. Incredibly overpriced for what you get. Filling a rijsttafel with hot air for €50 per person isn't a good idea...

We were invited to try the menu, and we did! Everything was delicious and very flavorful! We tasted a bit of Indonesia in Bloemendaal! Thanks again for the invitation!! After my vacation, I'll definitely be back for another meal, but this time for the Rijstafel. And the staff had some awesome shirts! They're for sale, haha!

Absolutely fantastic, everything was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. If I had to give one negative point, it would be the rendang croquettes. They're delicious, but for €9. Two croquettes is a lot of money; for that price, you'd expect at least two per person. I give this restaurant a solid 10 out of 10.

Last Friday, I had a wonderful meal with a group at Ron Gastrobar Indonesia in Bloemendaal. We ordered several tasty appetizers for our starters, including rendang croquettes. For the main course, I had a delicious satay menu with lontong and wagyu beef with cabbage. For dessert, I had a delightful chocolate egg with pandan. In between, we had a refreshing apple mocktail, and to finish, green tea. The staff was very attentive, and the atmosphere was great. Indonesian singers performed Javanese and Balinese songs.

The new Indonesian concept is fantastic 🙏 Authentic flavors and a great atmosphere. Smoor and Saté Kambing are absolute must-haves that many other Asian restaurants can't match. Combined with excellent wines, this creates a whole new Indonesian cuisine experience 🙏

Little and easy food for a lot of money. Overcooked fries €7!!! The staff is inexperienced and disinterested. They have no knowledge of the restaurant industry (wines or what the menu includes). The menu is mainly a concept where you pay for the name. It used to be better, which is a shame. The location is great though.

We unexpectedly popped in for a bite to eat. We were shown to a table but weren't given a menu or a drink order. After a few minutes, we were asked if we wanted water. "No, thank you," they said. Then the waiter walked away, leaving us sitting there without a menu or a drink. Plenty of waiters were around. We were simply ignored. We weren't given a menu, and no one came to ask what we wanted to drink. We finally left with empty stomachs and dry mouths.

Delicious, and what wonderful hospitality! We had a wonderful dinner. The oysters were fantastic, especially the Asian-style ones! My wife's rendang croquettes as a starter were also delicious. The main course, steak tartare, was excellent (perhaps we missed some toast with it). The terrine of the following was truly brilliant. The recommended wine, white for my wife and red for me, was also perfect. The service was also superb; we were able to cancel an extra side dish after the starter because it was so delicious that we felt an extra one was unnecessary. We were hesitant about choosing dessert. My wife was very happy with the coconut ice cream (if I remember correctly) – nice and refreshing on a hot day. And the choice of cheeses (following the host's recommendation) was a lovely way to end the dinner. Especially the Utrecht cheese and a light blue cheese – again, if we remember correctly. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the wonderful evening and perfect service.

Delicious food in the dunes. Not just any dishes, but always something with a twist. The spareribs with sambal are highly recommended, but all the other dishes you can share are also special and delicious. The extensive wine list completes the experience. The service is excellent; everyone pays attention to almost every table and is very knowledgeable about the dishes and the wine pairings. Reservations are often required, but that's understandable. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Nice restaurant. The food was hard to come by, nothing special, and the price was too high. You're paying for the name. If you have to maintain your reputation like this, you should serve something better. In conclusion, it's a waste of money.

What a fantastic place to run a restaurant, overlooking the dunes. Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food. We had the Cabrera menu, and the choices we made for ourselves would probably have been the same as the menu. The wine they selected was a perfect match for the main course. The price was reasonable for this quality.

Location is great. Appetizers taste good, but they are really appetizers. Dishes should be between starter and main course in size but were less than starter. The prices were not. In short, much too expensive for what you get. Service very pushing to get you to order more. For us this was a one-off.

Not welcomed. Not seen. Almost everything had to be asked for more than once. Staff that walks by and does not look around. Ice cream cone that is apparently presented with the bill, when you leave the restaurant you get the comment "oh this was part of the bill, forgot". I have a very bad feeling about it. Food that was just good does not make that right.

Nice location and food too, but we had a terrible experience in terms of service. We didn’t get orders, when we reminded them about a forgotten order being accused that we didn’t order (while we really did), and quite a sour vibe. Maybe the team was understaffed or had a bad day, but you can’t put that on your guests like this.

The menu is much simpler than before, a bit more ordinary. Too bad. I missed the social dishes. The staff is great and I also found it quieter, less busy. Too bad, we were looking forward to a nice afternoon.

What a disappointment, our host is a disgrace... you don't expect this in a restaurant (openly blaming your colleagues, too friendly if not antisocial), staff (not all) has no product knowledge and acts as if we were their best friends, furthermore the price-quality level is so far apart. You really need to adjust here. Food is reasonable but a lot but then also much too expensive. Cutlery from cleared tables is thrown in a bin because it causes a nuisance, furthermore found that drinking the leftovers from a wine bottle up to 2x (in a glass) was the height of it. Step up management!

Everything was good. 3 of us had a bite each paling, rendang kroket and crevettes. As main we had two portions of spare ribs and one lambs neck with one spinach salad and 2 fries on the side. Finally sorbet ice cream and one eclaire. Thia was more then enough and very delicious.

Sinds kort serveren ze ontbijt vanaf 10 uur. Wij hadden een brunch plateau met o.a. een sapje, croissantjes, ei, heerlijke yoghurt. Het was heerlijk weer dus we zaten buiten op het terras. Wat een fijne plek om wakker te worden met een heerlijk uitzicht. Bediening was super, kortom één groot feest!

Let's start positively: the food was mostly delicious, favorite of the evening was the onion martini, rightly a chef's favorite. The location is nice, a beautiful terrace in the middle of the dunes. We had a Social Deal for a four-course dinner, for which Bij de C has a separate menu, which was well arranged. We communicated the choices for all courses in advance to ensure a smooth passage. The first two courses arrived quickly, although it was noticeable that other tables (including the SD) were treated to a snack from the restaurant that we did not receive. The fact that the main course took a little longer was not a problem in itself, but the dessert took a very long time... In the end, there was 1 hour and 10 minutes between the main course and dessert being served. When serving the dessert, the waiter counters the comment that it took a very long time with a laconic 'Yes, we think so too.' (FYI: it was a cheese board and bread-and-butter, not the most complicated dishes). During the waiting time, it is noticeable that the adjacent tables are cleared and covered, but nothing is done about the stains and crumbs from the previous guests. Also, in the 45 minutes between clearing the table and serving dessert, the service never comes by to ask if another drink is needed, if they can help, or to give an update on the dessert. When serving dessert, no one asks about the need for something to drink, even though the glasses are now empty. When it gets dark under the parasol on the terrace, we turn on the table light ourselves, which we see more people doing. When paying, I was asked again about the long waiting time, which, according to this person, was due to the new menu, which the kitchen staff has not yet fully mastered. But can it be made good with a coffee from the company? Which is then served with sugar but without a spoon. Also no cookies or other sweets, so just plain coffee and tea. Then it turns out that a glass of wine and beer are not on the bill. Not noted or deducted as a gesture? We don't know because nothing is communicated. The total duration of this dinner from arrival to departure was three and a half hours. Slow dining indeed. It's great that there is Stella Maris hand soap in the toilet room, but this was not a perfect dinner experience. It's not the food, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

We hosted a business event for 30 people at Ron Gastrobar Bij de C and the experience was outstanding. Communication with the team was top-notch from start to finish they were incredibly responsive and proactive. The coordination and overall organisation of the event were seamless. A special thank you to Jet, who did a fantastic job managing the team and making sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend this place not only for professional events but also for personal celebrations. I’d be happy to return and visit again!

Visited Restaurant bij C last weekend and had a terrible experience. It was beautiful weather so we took a seat outside on the terrace. Then we were told that eating outside was not possible which we found strange since it was such beautiful weather, sun was shining and it was around 15 degrees. Since we couldn’t order anything from the regular menu outside we received the “snack” menu which was available outside, that we found particularly strange. When we were ready to order we waited around 10 minutes but still no server arrived, I myself stepped inside to make an order and was than told by, I think, the restaurant manager, this gentleman was wearing a suit, that he would be outside in a minute to take our order. 10 minutes passed and still no server arrived. I eventually stepped inside again to order. Food was decent. The eel was really good and tasteful but it says it comes with Brioche bread, which are just 2 really thin slices of toast. I found it quite expensive for €17. We also ordered the squid which came in a small cone, it had a small slice of lemon with it but everything was just covered in sauce, so it was real messy to eat. The baguette and the dried charcuterie were very good, and the coffee as well. Overall we didn’t have a good experience here at all and I was also a bit ashamed since I brought a long time friend here to have a nice and decent lunch, which it was not. At the end my friend went to pay and at no point at all were we asked about our experience so we couldn’t give the feedback directly to the staff, so therefore I will leave it here. Overall not the best experience, the food was decent but really overpriced. The biggest disappointment was the service of the staff.

Have a drink there. We had been sitting for 20 minutes before she came to answer the call. Then another 10 minutes before the coffee was ready. It was nice coffee. Then Bill asked before she saw us again, another 15 minutes further. Bill was 14 euros, I gave 20 euros and said make it 18. Had to wait another 10 minutes for those two euros. Got them back without saying thank you. Not very nice service and certainly not customer friendly. Sorry we stopped by. From now on we will just drive a little further.

Made a reservation for later in the evening because we had a wedding beforehand. We got home sooner than expected and when I called to see if we could come earlier, it was no problem! We had made a reservation for the Gastro bar at the C experience. It was all very tasty and more than enough! My gluten intolerance was taken into account everywhere. The only dish we did not like was the pointed cabbage. But other than that we really had nothing to complain about! To finish, a large bucket of ice cream with all kinds of tasty toppings. Really delicious! We will definitely come back again.

It looks a little different than when we got married there in 2018 (when it was still called De Uitkijk) but still a beautiful place to have a quiet meal. The food is delicious and the price-quality ratio is reasonable. Not much choice due to my pregnancy, but I was taken into account and when in doubt, the chef was also asked for advice. Friendly staff and good service.

Na een mindere ervaring eerder dit jaar werd ik uitgenodigd voor een lunch. Prima service, lekkere gerechten. 1000% beter dan mijn vorige bezoek. Kom zeker weer terug.

Heerlijk gegeten en een mooie totaal beleving. De locatie is prachtig, al zie je dat niet direct vanaf de parkeerplaats. Goede service met mooie (en passende) gerechten. Zeker een aanrader!

De smaak was heerlijk. De hoeveelheid was 0. De gerechten zouden qua grootte tussen een voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht inzitten. Ik kreeg een halve avocado (wel heerlijk aangekleed) en een kleine tonijntartaar (zonder verdere aankleding op het bord). Wat mij betreft véél te karig. Toen ik dat aangaf, gaf de ober aan dat ik wel nog een gerechtje mocht bijbestellen (á 20,-€) ….. Achteraf langs de winkel geweest om mijn maag goed te vullen. Goede smaken, maar geen aanrader dus.

Een (vegetarische) lunch voor 2 personen met Social Deal kost bij Ron Gastrobar 60 euro, daar kregen we voor: 1 gefrituurde ui als voorgerecht, 2de gang 1 gevuld ei en als hoofdgerecht een halve aubergine. Daar dronken we ieder bij: 1 thee, 1 water en 1 wijn. Bijkomende kosten 25 euro per persoon. Samen hebben we totaal dus 110 euro uitgegeven voor een minimale lunch met maximale wachtijden.

A lot of money for small dishes that do not excel in taste. Expected more. Also from the service. Food was already on the table and we had to make an effort to get the wine list. Great atmosphere inside and outside, but why on earth are there already Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree at the end of October?

I had high expectations since the staff made you feel like you should be honored to step into such a ‘special’ place. The atmosphere was gloomy and dark, uninterested staff and very disappointing food. It’s a shame that such a beautiful spot is housing such a disappointing restaurant.

One of Ron's gems in the greenery of Bloemendaal. When you get out of the car you exchange nature, wonderful. The welcome in the restaurant was very hospitable and the atmosphere cozy. The dishes on the menu are all attractive and the wine list also has something for everyone. We chose a number of pieces of street food and then some cold and warm dishes. Each one delicious. We had a fantastic evening and hope to have dinner again soon.

Top experience! Not only me but also my table companion were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful interplay of location, atmosphere, delicious and beautiful dishes and friendliness of the hosts. What needs serious comment is their professional consideration of intolerances such as gluten and lactose. They simply adjust the dishes - they said - so that you can still eat 90% of the menu. And so it happened. Delicious Chardonnay (bottle). The only point for improvement: friandises with coffee, a bowl of chocolates for the sweet tooths among us, could be added to the menu. This does not affect the points in the assessment. The free parking makes up for a lot and the fact that the garden - with wine barrels and dune grasses - is also attractively displayed. Definitely come back, see you then, tabee.

Bediening top! Eten: top! Prijs/kwaliteit: matig. Toelichting daarop: Hoog geprijsde gerechtjes met een kale opmaak. Porties zijn heel erg klein en zonder iets van groen oid erbij. Locatie: top! Wij zaten op het prachtige terras op een warme vrijdagmiddag.

Hier ga je naartoe voorafgaand aan een avondje Caprera. Wij dus ook. Het eten is prima, voor vegetariërs passen ze het Caprera-menu aan. De wijnen zijn uitstekend en de bediening is een beetje stijfjes, maar correct. Prijzen zijn niet mals, maar met € 124 (excl. fooi) ook niet heel hoog. Opmerkelijk: in de toiletruimte werd een soort hoorspel afgespeeld waarin stevig werd gevloekt en met vrouwelijke geslachtsdelen werd gesmeten. Vast heel hip, maar ik denk niet dat iedereen dat evengoed kan waarderen...

We had such a delicious meal here! The pointed cabbage exceeded all our expectations. Had a wonderful evening. What was a shame was that it took a very long time before someone gave you the menu, you could order, want something to drink, etc. For example, it was an hour before we got the menu. The food makes up for everything, but it's a shame. Another downside is that the wines were listed without us knowing the prices. Next time please include a card (and not just the aperitif)

Mooie plek op het kopje van Bloemendaal. Hier geluncht. Gerechten waren redelijk, sommige vielen tegen. De zalmforel: een koud geserveerd gerecht zonder een echt bijzondere smaak; de erbij geserveerde dressing maakt dat niet anders, deze was ook zonder smaak. Het nagerecht cheesecake van witte chocolade met een bolletje ijs en een vreemde sambal compote was veel, met name de vettige witte chocolade blijft je bij. Al met al leuk om eens te proberen, maar de gerechten vielen bij nadere beschouwing toch wel tegen; had meer verwacht qua smaak. De bediening doet goed haar best je het gevoel van 'sterren restaurant' te geven; beetje formeel, overdreven, maar wel leuk en prima. Het is allemaal wel stevig aan de prijs. Beetje té, gezien de geserveerde kwaliteit. Geloof niet dat ik weer snel zou terugkeren. [Iets wat andere recensies ook aangeven]

Bij de C is echt een aanrader. Verrassende gerechten, perfecte smaakbalans, prima inrichting, goede sfeer. Verbeterpunten: de hapjes vooraf lieten nogal lang op zich wachten. Daar is iets fout gegaan. Dat mag je rustig tegen ons zeggen. Ook de tijd om de bestelling om te nemen en de tijd tussen de gerechten mag korter. Dat we uiteindelijk zelf om de nota moesten vragen omdat de bedieing verdwenen was, is geen fijne afsluiter. Maar over de keukenbrigade niets dan lof.

The C is highly recommended. Surprising dishes, perfect taste balance, excellent decor, good atmosphere. Points for improvement: the snacks beforehand took quite a long time. Something went wrong there. You can tell us that calmly. The time to take the order and the time between dishes could also be shorter. The fact that we ultimately had to ask for the invoice ourselves because the controls had disappeared is not a nice ending. But nothing but praise for the kitchen brigade.

Delicious food, fantastic location with great views. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired: it took quite a long time, the table was not cleaned between the starter and the main course, after waiting 3 minutes we had to ask if the dirty plates could be removed from the starter, had to ask for a few things (bottle of water, the bill). ) 2x questions. So while the food and view were worth it, we felt the service didn't match what we paid and we won't be back anytime soon.

Delicious food! The experience menu and then in a shared dining form. The food was well prepared, tasty and surprising. We had a nice meal in the sun on the terrace with a view of the beautiful green surroundings. The service and the sommelier also know their trade well. Very nice restaurant!

Prior to the performance of Norwegian Ana Brun in Caprera, I reserved a table at Ron Gastrobar with an advance payment of €15, which is now necessary because reserving a table for a number of 'guests' is at best a non-binding commitment. Back to what matters. We chose a Caprera three-course menu and were asked what time we wanted to go to Caprera at the latest, about a 5-minute walk. The extremely friendly service kept to the timetable. The food was very OK, the starter carpaccio and the main course white fish subtle flavors and prepared with care. Dessert French toast not my choice but not bad. In summary, a very good meal and a great performance, both for Ron Gastrobar and Ane Brun.

A real delight, great food with great service. The taste is worthy of Michelin, at a price that everyone can afford. The terrace offers less seating than inside when it comes to luxury, but the food makes up for that. Highly recommended!

We had dinner here last night in the sun. Atmosphere was very good and snacks left me wanting more. We thought the eggplant was a surprising winner of the evening, highly recommended. We really liked the eel and the Dutch shrimps from the snacks. All highly recommended. The boneless spareribs were good but not special (just what you would expect here). We also had a Prisecco (German non-alcoholic sparkling wine), which took some getting used to the sweetness but was then delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly. We got a soft ice cream with the bill.

Easy parking at Bij de C. There is a large parking lot right in front of the restaurant. De restaurant offers a modern interior and a large sunny terrace overlooking the dunes. Seats are good and there is enough space between tables to enjoy a private dinner and still be in a busy room with all the buzz. The food was nice. Occasionally a bit salty to my taste but not to much, it still tasted great. The way they presented the dishes is also nice. Especially fun was the “bucket of ice” which came in a paint can with dry ice. Really cool! They have an extensive wine list with a couple of wines you can order per glass. Lots to choose from! Food, drinks and location were all good! The only letdown for us was the service. We did not really get a proper explanation of the concept. It is supposed to be sharing so we hinted on the waiter just putting his suggestions on the table because our party did not have any restrictions. That was a bit much to ask so we made our own choices from the menu. Sometimes details matter: we ordered eel. So you get a whole eel with skin on. If you take the skin of and get it of the bone you have very oily hands and there is no towel or something. Also service was slow. We were at the table for an out before the first bites arrived and we had to ask at least three times for our ordered drinks/bottles of wine to get to the table. Staff was friendly but I think they were a bit stressed and understaffed. This really affected our experience and might be the occasional one off… Difficulty is that there are many great restaurant around where I had a 4/5 star experience on all items. Might give it a try later!

Very nice restaurant, in a very nice location. Really nice dishes on the menu, very tasty. Service (you meet "old" acquaintances) is really great and very attentive!! All in all, highly recommended!!

The restaurant is in a beautiful, quiet location with a view of the forest. The food is really delicious and the service is top notch. Definitely recommended.
