We visited the restaurant today with great anticipation... unfortunately it went wrong. We waited over an hour for our food. I could understand if it had been busy but it wasn't. The waiting staff were all wandering around confused. The people at the tables next to us didn't even take our orders. The food that we got after over an hour was good. Thank goodness that was a consolation. We would have liked to have another cocktail but we've lost the desire. I can't write down everything that I saw as a restaurateur myself... we won't be coming back. We left disappointed, what a shame!!!!!

Disappointing, reheated pizzas, from the microwave or a pre-made pizza base from a supermarket?

Friday evening, we went for a bite to eat with a colleague in Zandvoort. Unfortunately, the weather was very disappointing, windy and gray, so we couldn't experience the beach feeling... Modern interior, the tables a bit too organized, but very tidy. There was no one at the bar. The welcome was good, polite, and professional. We were greeted in Dutch and shown to our table with a great view. When ordering, we could only order in English; the two young hosts couldn't speak or understand Dutch at all. Judging by their attitude, I think they haven't had any hospitality training. They were polite but very reserved. The food was fine, not exceptional, but acceptable for the price. The pizza crust, however, was a bit disappointing (cardboard), but the taste was good. The starter and pasta main course were delicious... For a beach bar, this is more than good. Highly recommended, especially on a nice, sunny summer day. Tips: make sure the staff are properly trained and use good pizza dough!

Tips: ensure proper training for the staff and good pizza dough!

I don't say it quickly, but despite the good intentions of the service, I really give it a maximum of 1 star. Very long wait and the food does not compensate for that in any way. Sorry, it really should be much better

I wish I had read the reviews earlier. Reserved for 5 people, we had to wait more than half an hour for our first drink, then another half hour for the food. The menu includes briefly grilled steak, but it was completely overcooked, so tough! Immediately reported to the waiter who had to ask his colleague for help because he had no idea how to deal with this. In the end it turned out that there was no steak left and we were given the menu to choose something else. We did not do that because there is no confidence in a good dish. The melanzane parmigiano was cooked to snot with some kind of cheese on it that was nothing like parmigiano. What also struck me is the messy, not fresh space. Windows are really dirty, I understand that it quickly seems dirty on the coast due to wind, salt and sand, but that just requires daily cleaning. Then it will look fresher. Do not recommend this restaurant.

A nice atmosphere with very nice staff and a beautiful view of the sea. The beer selection was great and the pizza was delicious. It was a nice experience for a stopover and I would love to come back 🤠

Without a doubt the best restaurant I have tried in Zandvoort so far, the girls who served us were lovely, the food was really delicious, we ordered a pizza and pasta and without a doubt we left full. To finish we ordered a tiramisu which was the golden drop to finish. our visit. I would also like to point out that they have a small space for small children to play and you can enjoy the food a little more without the danger of losing sight of us. We will definitely return❤️

I know Renato's branches in Amsterdam and have had good experiences there with regard to food and service. This branch is unfortunately a poorly executed version. The food (pasta) is mediocre, and the service is disastrous - mainly due to the understaffing but also basic service principles (drinks, coasters and food were randomly placed on the table). On a warm summer day where the terrace is full with about 25-30 tables, we had to make do with a service of 3 people (and then there was only 1 person who could/was allowed to take orders). As a result, we waited 45 minutes for our 2nd drinks. We skipped desserts because we didn't feel like waiting another hour. It would have been better to take fewer tables and offer better service to the guests who were there. For the price you pay, the food and service are far below par

Great location above the beach. Terrace and main restaurant have excellent views. Only criticism is that there is only one toilet, so be prepared to que.

Ordered two pizzas. They are delivered lukewarm. Soil is white and soft. Dough shows a lot of air. More of a Turkish bread than a pizza. Undercooked. Given back. Comes straight back from the kitchen. Not changed. Not worth talking about. We leave and have to pay the full price. Beer is a nice Italian beer but lukewarm. The disabled toilet is the men's toilet. Past a toilet you come to a sliding door that does not open far enough. You have to leave the wheelchair there. No soap, towel or paper in the toilet. 50 euros poorer but ate a hamburger at the neighbors. It was fine and cooked.

This has nothing to do with Italian at all. And actually nothing at all about a serious restaurant. These people should not be running a restaurant, but rather working in a convenience store or something.... No idea why they pretend to know Italian cuisine, because this makes no sense! Carpaccio floating in sauce. Soggy oily pizza, having to work really hard to get a second drink, and plates placed at the head of the table instead of IN FRONT of you. Here's your food, grab what's yours for yourself. The main course to which I shouted YES THAT'S MINE was then placed at my table companion. Half-cooked over-salted pasta. YUK. These men really have no basic knowledge. Stop and don't pretend that you can make Italian food. And oh yes, if two of your six starters are crossed out on the menu (!!!! Nice and poor). and the side dishes FRIES have been crossed out... then you are AND not serious with your menu AND you don't have your basics in order. Which restaurant crosses out FRIES????? And no, please do not post your standard answer. I am NOT going to contact “marketing”. Your marketing is the quality. Get that better first, Mr. Laksch! The girls in the service did well, but I would say go work somewhere else!

A big mistake to eat here with 12 people. The pizzas tasted fine, but the pastas were of a questionable standard. The service was far below par, bad actually. Drinking the first glass after 45 minutes, the pizzas for the main course were almost finished or cold before the pastas were served. Forgot 1 dish and then waited 20 minutes before it came to the table. Desserts were expensive, very small portions of ice cream in nasty sundae. One of my guests' pants are torn/crocheted because the nails are sticking out of the sofa. In summary; no more Renato's Beach Club for us.

Touristy. Quite allright but not very Italian. Waitress was kind but had to do everything so she forgot things and we had to wait a few times. Not what we expected for the location. We enjoyed due to the company and view but will not be returning customers.

A really nice tent on the inside, you wouldn't expect it from the outside. So definitely a hidden gem. But even when it is quiet, the food order takes a very long time (we also had simple dishes). I'm definitely going to give it a second chance, because it looks beautiful on the inside. Ps don't be misled in the reservation; select lunch and can eat there a la carte on site. Oh and stop the social deal (detracts from the tent)

To be fair, we arrived at 8 p.m. with 7 people, and we first asked if we could still take a seat due to our late arrival. Blonde waitress indicated that she had already had a long day and were understaffed and wanted to take it easy. So unfortunately I can't rate the food, but I can say that we walked to our regular restaurant Republic and had a wonderful evening with a voucher of €820 and a tip (oysters and 2 bottles of wine). And we learned our lesson, just staying with Republic as a guest. It's a real shame for the owner, because after a bad start to the season you want to attract as many customers as possible and make money. But letting your customers go is sad, we will never eat there now that I read the other very bad reviews. Courage.

We were there over the holiday weekend and great to see everybody recognize the 2 minute silence. Very good value for money, profession service and staff very helpful, good menu and good food

The food was really very good and the service was nice. The restaurant is really nice, it was just a bit very warm and stuffy and unfortunately there is no free parking lot.

Unfortunately the spagetti, burrata & bruscetta were not tasty at all. It also had nothing to do with Italian food.

Delicious food. With 2 children, it went very well. Service was very good, 2 great staff. You don't see that often these days.

How do I destroy a nice piece of meat? Baked completely gray, where it should be a nice medium. Sent it back and had to wait (literally) half an hour for a new one. The rest of the family had already finished the meat (one piece of which was actually worth returning). When the meat arrived for the second time, it was even more dead than the first. Deplorable quality. Suspect that the cook was a cobbler before this. Also very salty! Minestrone soup, on the other hand, was tasty. Carpaccio okay, no more than that and certainly not at that price. Two ladies in the service were running wild, one reacting irritated to what you said and the other completely empathizing. Negroamara was more than fine. One main course refused to pay. The offer was a drink from the company, which we were no longer interested in at that moment, because three of the four had already finished their entire meal. It would have been nice if a previous round of drinks had been crossed out as compensation. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. In concrete terms: price/quality is not sufficient.

Renata's Beach Club is a must-visit for anyone looking for a relaxing, The taste of the dishes was excellent. We will definitely come back.

Had a downright bad experience with this tent! The service was slow, the food was not even close to good value for money, all in all poor service overall. Shame! The tent looked quite nice and attractive, as did the menu. Unfortunately everything was very disappointing. Not recommended!

After a pleasant, tasty meal, I was surprised with a sgroppino, a delicious and fresh dessert.

This restaurant talks about Italian cuisine, but in reality anyone who goes to Italy and has tasted Italian cuisine knows that in renatos it is not exactly the real Italian, it is so average, but when you are hungry, you can do it. environment with a wonderful view of the sea.

Superleuke gezellige club , ook al was het in december. Keurig geholpen door vriendelijke jongedame en de keuken had zich helemaal uitgeleefd! Een woord TOP !

Excellent service! Helpful and smiling staff makes you feel comfortable and special. You feel this as soon as you enter the restaurant. We ate pizzas and it was delicious. We had a pleasant evening.It is also dog friendly place.

Lekker Italiaans eten na een dagje strand of zomaar!

Ik heb een hele fijne ervaring door hier te eten de ambiance was goed en de muziek niet te hard als ik weer naar zee ga hier heen echt top

Een mooie ontspannen tent vergeleken met de drukke strandtenten aan de boulevard. Het eten was heerlijk. Er werd een fout met de order gemaakt en we kregen een rekening met items die we niet hadden besteld. Personeel pakte dit goed op en bood gelijk excuses aan en oplossingen kwamen snel. Zou zeker terug komen!

The food came very late and the pizza was uncut.

Prachtige plek om aan het strand van de ondergaande zon te genieten met een kwalitatief hapje en drankje. Goede muziekkeuze en personeel blijft ondanks drukte vriendelijk en gastvrij.

Prima, dat we ruim voor openingstijd aan de voorzijde van het terras mochten zitten: een mooi uitzicht op het strand. Een drankje mocht nog wel. En ja, ook handig dat alvast de bestelling voor het eten werd opgenomen. Dan zouden we aanvankelijk niet op het eten hoeven wachten als de keuken eenmaal was geopend. Niets was minder waar: gasten die later aanschoven, konden al ruimschoots van het eten genieten! De inktvisringen die we als voorgerecht hadden, waren niet gefrituurd maar bijna gecremeerd. Mijn echtgenote had de dorade, ik had de steak gekozen. De plaats op het menu deed vermoeden dat dit stergerechten waren: de prijs was er in elk geval wel naar. Helaas, de dorade was niet gaar en mijn steakreepjes waren al aan de koude kant. Kooktechnisch niet handig om de warme dorade en steak op een bed van rucola etc. te serveren: die werd slap en smakeloos. Het schaaltje groenten was te zielig voor woorden. Als dan ook nog de nacht moet worden onderbroken vanwege een acute norit-stop, dan heb ik het helemaal gehad!

Why run a restaurant when you clearly don’t care about doing it properly? The small team was doing their best but they were completely overwhelmed. The food comes out quickly but does not taste good or have any finesse, which you would expect given the prices. The outdoor seating is uncomfortable and has poor shading. It’s a shame…it’s such a great location at the beach but this was a waste of time and money.

Prachtige locatie met een erg mooi uitzicht over de zee. Erg te spreken over de bediening die erg vriendelijk was! Heerlijk pizzaatje gegeten en mijn vriendin een pasta, wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Heerlijke plek, prachtig terras en genoten van het lekkere eten dat met zorg is bereid. We keken uit over zee en hadden een prachtige zonsondergang. Aanrader! Ook het verblijf in het appartement (Poort Hotel) was super!

We wilde hier een hapje gaan eten maar kregen als snel van de bediende te horen dat we lang moesten wachten op ons eten. Ze keek erg nors en zo gedroeg ze zich ook. Had geen zin om te werken en wilde eig naar ons idee liever dat we niks gingen eten zodat zij naar huis kon. Meisje van drinken was wel aardig. Geen fooi gegeven. Uitzicht wel top en pizza zeker lekker!
