Didn’t even order - guys working tonight didn’t wear gloves or greeted us when we came in.

Love this place! Can eat on this culinary soulmate everyday. Fresh, tasty and prepared with love and care.

Look at the picture, pita chicken and you get so many saus your get sick, 2 pieces of vergetables and 2 pieces of chicken. Very bad and would not recommend to go here! Went back to complain got a new pita with even more saus and yes a few peaces more chicken covered is so much mayonaise you cannot even tast the chicken any more.

I love the taste and the freshness as a vegan. But one concern and one advice: Concern: The falafel menu is 16.95 but with a mandatory side dish selection of +2 Eur each which makes the menu 18.95 inevitably. Then what is 16.95? It is a sneaky way, i'm embarrassed to write it here. Advice: You know you are a vegan friendly pleace, why dont you arrange your digital menu accordingly by putting the vegan label or the vegan category? Otherwise it is an unnecesary observation or question to understand if a seemingly vegan option is indeed vegan.

We ate here three days in a row! Delicious dishes such as aubergine and labneh, served with fresh warm pita. There is some seating both inside and outside. A great lunch stop!

German tourist here: A very unassuming restaurant on the streets of Amsterdam. The Palestinian flag on the door drew us in. We also needed to use the restroom, which was very clean and had a relaxed vibe. At first, I thought the prices were very high for a "sandwich," but it was worth it after the first bite. You could see how much love went into making the sandwiches, and we can highly recommend the PITA SANDWICH, PITA FALAFEL SANDWICH, and PITA ZARTAR SANDWICH! Very nice place, and we'd love to come back again :)

Amazing experience! The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was even better. I was helped by one of the staff members (I think her name was Bianca) who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and patient. She gave me great recommendations and helped me choose something that perfectly matched what I was looking for. You can really tell when someone genuinely cares about customers and wants them to have a good experience. She definitely deserves a rise! Great atmosphere, great service, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Delicious meal, prepared right in front of us (open kitchen) with quality ingredients. The falafel and halloumi pita was really good, as were the fries. The piccalilly sauce is amazing! I will definitely be back.

The food is very tasty. Best falafel in Amsterdam. Also good quality meat, organic. The service is very friendly, especially the girl in the pink sweater.

Food was great! Portions were huge, which makes sense as the prices are a bit on the higher side. We got the chicken bowls, pita, and fries. The bowls were great, they had a nice balance with the pickled cabbage and pomegranates to add some acidity. However there were huge pieces of chicken that were clumped together to form a giant golf ball, it was too hard for my folk to cut through. Would definitely get again!

The food here is wonderful-sauces are delicious and flavors are so fun. Still dreaming about the fries. However, taking a few stars away because the employees were incredibly slow moving (when you do take away, you just sit on the bench facing them/you watch them make your meal) and literally took 30 minutes to make our two meals? I don't even mind waiting, of course, but it was the absolute lack of urgency (laughing, talking to each other, slowly just touching random things) that was mind blowing! Also, when they finally DID make our wraps, they touched EVERYTHING with their gloves on. Cabinets, money, their face??? And then with the same gloves, straight into the greens to grab a handful and pack it into the pita. It was so stressful to watch honestly, and hard to disassociate that image while I was eating the food. Again, the food itself was VERY good. But the lack of cleanliness/food safety/hygiene was very off-putting. All that being said, I'd still go back for the fries😂🙌🏼

I ordered a chicken bowl, and my husband ordered a pita kebab. My bowl was absolutely tasty and delicious. The pita kebab was also flavorful, everything was excellent.

The hummus is good. The pita itself is hard and not thick enough; tastes almost like a toasted pita. The Sabich lacked potato and the greens were chopped too thickly. The packaging is very good - all the food arrived in one piece, and they were clearly marked.

We enjoyed our pita. Stayed at a hotel up the block and visited here twice.

The food here is really delicious and I highly recommend this place. Me and my girlfriend ordered one Chicked Pita and one Beef Pita Kebab Menu and were super satisfied with our choices.

The sourdough pita texture and taste was amazing! I asked for a spicy beef/ lamb swarma- and they put a sauce that was quite delicious as well as the pickles- together was a very good balance of spicy,tart,and texture to enjoy! The meat was slightly stringy though...

I occasionally walk by and went in few times in, tried the chicken pita and I love the flavors and rich texture! Recently they adjusted menu and I had to try the beef version which left me speechless! Well done! Service is quick and prompt!

What an incredibly wonderful experience! The service, the atmosphere, and then the amazing food. I had a pita with halloumi, and it was wonderfully soft and not overpowering. It paired perfectly with the fresh pomegranate, cucumber, and so on.

Some of the best vegan food in Amsterdam, and for an incredible price! They even have a points saving scheme in place for the faithful fans. :D

Bloody delicious pitas! Friendly warm staff. small place with only 4 tiny tables for eating in, but was just perfect for us~!

Always fresh, always delicious, and always with a smile. A regular spot for me for years. Sababa is exactly what you're looking for, whether it's for takeout or a quick/casual dine-in.

Falafel mania is at its peak. Very, very good, yum yum. Restores tons of health points after an awesome psychedelic trip.

The pita was tasty, but the portions have shrunk considerably. The cauliflower bowls are noticeably smaller, and the bread itself seems to have been literally cut in half compared to before. That feels like pure shrinkflation. It's a shame, because it detracts from the overall experience and the value for money.

I found this place by chance and decided to try it. I ordered a halloumi falafel sandwich and it was really good. The guy working there was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a nice experience.

The food at the restaurant is really good, but ordering is a nightmare. I ordered a meal today because I got home late from work, and seriously, I still hadn't received an update after an hour and a half. If you go here, pick it up yourself, because delivery is really terrible.

Super delicious! Lots of fresh ingredients. One tip is to put the sauce on the bottom of the bun, and a haloumi pita without falafel sounds delicious too.

Excellent service! When Thuiszorgd delivered the wrong order, Team Sababa, working with their own supplier, made sure we received our order within half an hour. Super helpful with a mistake they didn't make, and delicious!
