I asked the guys what Sababa means... "don't worry / no problems" And that is what you get - extra delicious food prepared with love.

I came many times and I've always had a great experience!! Today we were served by Mahfuz and the experience was as good as always: nice vibes, fast service and good food. This time they gave us a chocolate dessert to try and we liked it a lot :) Thanks! 🫶🏻💚

Had a great experience at Sababa West! The pita and sweet fries were fresh and delicious. Big shoutout to the guy from Bangladesh for his excellent customer service—he even surprised me with a free rocky road treat after hearing it was my birthday. Really appreciated the kindness!

I like this place a lot. The food is tasty, I tried almost all the pitas on the menu and I wouldn't be able to choose which one I like the most, all are delicious! The sweet potatoes as a side dish are top-notch too. Shout out for the friendly staff, which are always very welcoming.

I often come here to get a pita. Delicious flavor combinations, and it also motivates me to eat more vegetarian food, although the pita with chicken shawarma is also delicious! Plus, the lady behind the counter is very charming 😉

Amazing costumer service and delicious food!

The girl behind the counter gave me a great tip to order the Sabich with Haloumi, and ever since then it's been my favorite takeout dish when I work late at the office.

What an incredibly nice person who helped me. With brown hair and a few piercings, it was great to find such a refreshing place. Highly recommended.

Tantoe spange pitas. I've had them all, all 10/10. The staff is also nice and they always have fun tunes playing.

Poor service, fries were forgotten in the order, and staff worked with their mouths full of fries and didn't wash their hands after putting food in their mouths. Unsanitary.

Probably the best pita falafel I had in a long time. A well deserved five.

Food is nice and quality/price is also good. However staff should wash their hands before touching the food. It is basic hygiene rules. I won't go back again because of this.

Very nice place for some wraps! I’ve had the pita Sabich and it was very tasty, plenty of ingredients and fresh flavours. The atmosphere inside is cosy and informal with nice decorations. It would be even better if there were a couple of chairs and a table to sit outside. Prices are very reasonable, with 11/13 euros for well-made wraps. The location is also cute, in a little square of the westerpark neighbourhood that has a nice atmosphere with many other shops just beside

The only thing I can complain about is that the fries are a bit too salty, but overall - nice

The food was delicious! I found this place through the Neotaste app. The offer displayed an error message, but thanks to the friendly staff, I got it anyway. We also found the pitas delicious and healthy. We ordered two pitas and a side, but it was just a bit too little for three people. We'll definitely be back.

Worst service, overpriced hipster food. Worst food poisoning I ever had after eating there. So I went back to tell them, the only thing they said was we haven’t gotten any other complains. She did not even stop a min to give me attention and listen properly. They did not even offer to refund me or give me complimentary drink. Not that I would ever eat there again. Very service driven behavior!!! NOT TO RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Best vegan shawarma and hummus I’ve ever had. The vegan mayo is also incredibly tasty. Small, cozy spot with dine-in, takeaway, and delivery options. Friendly staff and fair prices. Two small tables inside, four outside, and relaxed ambient music playing indoors.

The food is unfortunately very inconsistent. We returned our food because the pita bread was only half full, as was the falafel salad bowl. Furthermore, the hummus or dressing (?) in the bowl was very bland and watery, and contained an overload of pickled onions, with the other ingredients almost completely missing. The pita lacked egg and was only partially filled. It was a waste of money.

I had eaten here before, but I didn't think it was good enough to write a review and too pricey to come back again. Now I tried it again due to an offer, and I'm really happy about that! I think I was unlucky last time with an overcooked hard pita and falafal. Now just right! Fluffy pita, crispy tasty falafal, and tasty sauce and cabbage. For the full price, I would still consider it pricey, because the pita is not very large and insufficient for a meal for me.

Super amazing Taste. I would become vegan if this is all I ate. The restaurant seating area may be unusual, but quickly grows on you as homey. The Chef has a super chill vibe and the music taste is so good I had to Shazam every song and add it to my playlist. This Restaurant may be underrated since the prices are very very fair.

Ordered via Uber, incorrectly delivered (missing sandwich). The solution was to place an order and then they could send the missing sandwich and extra. Then you lose a lot of money for nothing. Sandwich was also cold and poorly filled. The fries were even less and overpriced. Shame

Delicious pita wraps. I love the sababa classic (tasty falafel, and unique fillings), the sabich and the big sababa. All very good. Also the sweet potato fries are the perfect crisp with amazing options for dips. I particularly enjoy the yoghurt harissa dip 🤤

Delicious food and super friendly service. Something went wrong with my home delivery order completely outside the restaurant's control, but they resolved it perfectly even though they didn't even have to. Really great and I will definitely order more often because the food was really great!

Got mega small fries and the chicken shawarma sandwich is really dirty and the chicken is pink on the inside. No tasty food, all kind of fake tasty and then poorly done, very disappointed. First and last time

Great staff working there but unfortunately the owner couldn’t give a damn about them. Understaffed and walked in with her friends after closing and messed it up even more

it wasnt the best shawarma ive ever had an honestly it tasted more like a chicken sandwich rather than an authentic shawarma.. not bad but for 13.50 not great.. the chopped salad side was not nice at all and had pickles in it instead of just cucumber and tomato as it stated. i usually love pickles but it didnt work in this salad and i couldnt eat it. the hummus and pita was the best thing i ordered but how hard is it to make hummus and pita?

Picked up the chicken shawarma pita and the chicken was quite tasteless, fake middle eastern food. Paid too much for 1 sandwich. Stomach ache the next day…

Food delivery is so inconsistent. You need to step up your training because the last 5 times I ordered I got 5 different Sababa classics. My experience ~ 1st time: wow this is good. 2nd time - this is not good I don’t understand. The falafel is so dry. I will complain. 3rd time - I’ll give them a 2nd chance. Falafel was dry again and It was not worth the price. 4th time - it’s been a couple months and they have a 4.9 rating on Uber eats I’ll try again. It was really good. 5th time - cold and so much less ingredients than before and dry falafel again. Totally not worth the price. The rating on Uber Eats is a SCAM. It’s so sad when the consistency is just not there. A restaurant’s job to is to ensure the product is the same every time you order it. This doesn’t have to do with delivery. It’s the quality and quantity of ingredients that were different every time. It’s obvious your training is not up to standard if you would send your customers sparsely made and dry pita falafels. I’m disappointed in your restaurant and Uber Eats. I wasn’t compensated so you’ll never see me as a customer of either again. Edit: I was compensated by Uber Eats and the restaurant after sharing this review with Uber Eats. So I changed this rating to 2 stars.

Very tasty pitas with tasty sauces and fillings; Much better than your standard falafel at the grill room on the corner. The only downside was the ambiance; sitting was a bit uncomfortable and it was quite cold (this was on a cold spring day)

Amazing place! Highly recommended. The pita is soft and fluffy. The sabich is juicy, greasy and has a lot of fresh veggies. The amba in it is amazing! Will definitely come back for the sabich, but I am also very curious to try out their falafel. Very friendly staff as well!

Loved Sababa so much that had to come back but this time at a different location. The food was still amazing and the girls still served us even tho we were a bit late and almost closing, that was very nice of them 🥰 PS: one of them apparently lost her phone, I really hope she could find it 🙏🏽

Super yummy vegetarian middle-eastern food! Food was amazing and the staff is super nice and welcoming! Definitely recommend a visit if you’re around and try the jackfruit shawarma.

Heel vettig eten… ik bestelde sabich en deze was koud en veel te vettig. De GROTE friet die ik had besteld was vervangen door een ontzettend kleine zoete aardappel friet die ontzettend slap en koud was. Dit had ik niet besteld! Belachelijk voor die prijzen ook. Ben zeer teleurgesteld na goede ervaringen bij Sababa de Pijp.

Het eten was echt super lekker en vers gemaakt. Goede prijskwaliteit verhouding. Personeel was vriendelijk, leuke sfeer. Echt een aanrader!

Boring, dull, overpriced for what you get. Better go to Ten Katemarkt and get a falafel there at the southern end.
