I have just bought a pita meat kebab to eat at home and found out that kebab is heavily undercooked, moist and bright pink on the inside. I thought to take it back but realized I did not want a replacement dish from such a kitchen. Be careful.

After a long workday, decided to grab a bite to eat here. It’s nice that there is a healthier alternative to regular fast food, and it’s worth paying a bit more for that. But you would at least expect the chicken to be hot for 14 euros? I wouldn't recommend it for dinner.

I ordered without pepper and when it arrived at half of the pita I couldn't eat anymore because it had a lot of pepper, the felafel was raw inside too and I had to take it out! That's very boring!

The food was really excellent! But even better was the service, we were welcomed warmly and everything worked perfectly! The music is very relaxing and calms you down from a stressful day! Especially the eggplants melted like butter on my tongue! Absolutely can recommend this place for a chill and delicious meal with a nice vibe!

For 2 years we have visited Sababa more then we would like to admit. But my goodness has it changed. Pita's were always richly packed, but now they're as thin as a sheet of paper. And just as dry as one aswell. I've devoured many of your pita's but they have graduatly become worse to such a point that they are not a fair comparisan to your prices. The athomsphere inside was always warm. Young people hard at work playing the bests playlists and down for a laugh or a chat. But now have been swapped out for blank stares. Your motto which always is proudly painted on the wall doesn't fit you anymore. But i guess it is what it is. Though we shall not return anymore.

Extremely poor and unprofessional service. I placed an order through Thuisbezorgd with a delivery time of 6:15 PM. It's now 7:05 PM and I still haven't received my order. The tracker keeps saying the order is "in transit" and that it will take another 30 minutes—the delivery driver is literally stuck. I called the restaurant. I was told I would receive a new order within 15 minutes, then the connection was disconnected. Then, over half an hour passed. When I called again, I was told I wouldn't be receiving a new order after all. I wasn't even actively informed about this; no one called me back. After that, they said it would be "discussed," put me on hold again, and then simply hung up. No one responds anymore. When I call back, I only get voicemail. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. They even casually suggested that I would "probably get my money back from Thuisbezorgd," as if this were normal. No apologies, no solution, no communication. After emailing the branch, the manager called me. The first time to apologize. The second time, they told me this wasn't "the whole story" and asked if I thought it was fair to leave this review for multiple locations. Because it was for one location, I deleted the reviews for the other locations. During this conversation, I was told not to forget that "someone with feelings is behind it." I find that comment inappropriate. As a customer, I waited an hour and a half for my order, was misinformed multiple times, wasn't called back, and was simply hung up on. These are facts. Dismissing my experience as incomplete or appealing to me for empathy with the employees is completely inappropriate. Respect works both ways. This review is not an attack, but a reflection of what actually happened. That can and should be addressed. Ridiculous service. I'll never eat or order from here again.

We had a fantastic lunch here. We tried 3 different options and everyone loved their meal. The vegan schwarma was fantastic.

I placed an order here that arrived 2.5 hours late. I called several times, and they told me they only had one delivery driver, so I had to wait. When the order finally arrived, it was incomplete... When I tried to contact them to let them know my order was incomplete, they took the phone offline... That's no way to treat your customers. Very disappointing.

I asked the guys what Sababa means... "don't worry / no problems" And that is what you get - extra delicious food prepared with love.

I came many times and I've always had a great experience!! Today we were served by Mahfuz and the experience was as good as always: nice vibes, fast service and good food. This time they gave us a chocolate dessert to try and we liked it a lot :) Thanks! 🫶🏻💚

Had a great experience at Sababa West! The pita and sweet fries were fresh and delicious. Big shoutout to the guy from Bangladesh for his excellent customer service—he even surprised me with a free rocky road treat after hearing it was my birthday. Really appreciated the kindness!

I like this place a lot. The food is tasty, I tried almost all the pitas on the menu and I wouldn't be able to choose which one I like the most, all are delicious! The sweet potatoes as a side dish are top-notch too. Shout out for the friendly staff, which are always very welcoming.

The girl behind the counter gave me a great tip to order the Sabich with Haloumi, and ever since then it's been my favorite takeout dish when I work late at the office.

Very nice place for some wraps! I’ve had the pita Sabich and it was very tasty, plenty of ingredients and fresh flavours. The atmosphere inside is cosy and informal with nice decorations. It would be even better if there were a couple of chairs and a table to sit outside. Prices are very reasonable, with 11/13 euros for well-made wraps. The location is also cute, in a little square of the westerpark neighbourhood that has a nice atmosphere with many other shops just beside

The only thing I can complain about is that the fries are a bit too salty, but overall - nice

The food was delicious! I found this place through the Neotaste app. The offer displayed an error message, but thanks to the friendly staff, I got it anyway. We also found the pitas delicious and healthy. We ordered two pitas and a side, but it was just a bit too little for three people. We'll definitely be back.

Worst service, overpriced hipster food. Worst food poisoning I ever had after eating there. So I went back to tell them, the only thing they said was we haven’t gotten any other complains. She did not even stop a min to give me attention and listen properly. They did not even offer to refund me or give me complimentary drink. Not that I would ever eat there again. Very service driven behavior!!! NOT TO RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Best vegan shawarma and hummus I’ve ever had. The vegan mayo is also incredibly tasty. Small, cozy spot with dine-in, takeaway, and delivery options. Friendly staff and fair prices. Two small tables inside, four outside, and relaxed ambient music playing indoors.

The food is unfortunately very inconsistent. We returned our food because the pita bread was only half full, as was the falafel salad bowl. Furthermore, the hummus or dressing (?) in the bowl was very bland and watery, and contained an overload of pickled onions, with the other ingredients almost completely missing. The pita lacked egg and was only partially filled. It was a waste of money.

I had eaten here before, but I didn't think it was good enough to write a review and too pricey to come back again. Now I tried it again due to an offer, and I'm really happy about that! I think I was unlucky last time with an overcooked hard pita and falafal. Now just right! Fluffy pita, crispy tasty falafal, and tasty sauce and cabbage. For the full price, I would still consider it pricey, because the pita is not very large and insufficient for a meal for me.

Super amazing Taste. I would become vegan if this is all I ate. The restaurant seating area may be unusual, but quickly grows on you as homey. The Chef has a super chill vibe and the music taste is so good I had to Shazam every song and add it to my playlist. This Restaurant may be underrated since the prices are very very fair.

Ordered via Uber, incorrectly delivered (missing sandwich). The solution was to place an order and then they could send the missing sandwich and extra. Then you lose a lot of money for nothing. Sandwich was also cold and poorly filled. The fries were even less and overpriced. Shame

Delicious pita wraps. I love the sababa classic (tasty falafel, and unique fillings), the sabich and the big sababa. All very good. Also the sweet potato fries are the perfect crisp with amazing options for dips. I particularly enjoy the yoghurt harissa dip 🤤

it wasnt the best shawarma ive ever had an honestly it tasted more like a chicken sandwich rather than an authentic shawarma.. not bad but for 13.50 not great.. the chopped salad side was not nice at all and had pickles in it instead of just cucumber and tomato as it stated. i usually love pickles but it didnt work in this salad and i couldnt eat it. the hummus and pita was the best thing i ordered but how hard is it to make hummus and pita?
