Nice food, it says they open at 11:00. But unfortunately, we had to look for another restaurant for brunch, because they don't actually open until 12:00.

I always get the sandwiches but they should really switch back to the old baguettes they used, the new bread is old and dry

Service is very friendly and quick! Flavours are authentic with the shrimp banh mi and Vietnamese coffee. The only thing that could be improved is the amount of filling in the banh mi. But considering the price to quality ratio I can't complain too much. Overall quite good.

What a refreshing stop here for fresh, healthy food and friendly service! We got the papaya salad, pho, banh mi, egg rolls, and the avocado smoothie. Everything was delicious! We stopped by around 1pm and there was no wait.

I'm gonna be honest. I was hesitant to try this place because of the really low rating. But I wanted to see if the Rating deserved or not. I got the Banh Mi Dac Biet to go. The banh mi (bread) itself was not golden brown, the filling too sparse and important ingredients such as patê and mayo were missing. All in all, it was rather disappointing. The staff was friendly though. I hope they will work on improving the recipe so that people in Amsterdam will be able to enjoy delicious & authentic Vietnamese banh mi.

EXCELLENT FOOD!! THEIR BAHN MI SANDWICHES ARE PEAK!! Same with the noodles! 🍜 Also they are so so nice! Love that I could stop in and my food was done in LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! Just WOW. I’m truly impressed. I will be back!!

For a restaurant located near the station, this is a great place! Good portions and flavorful!

The shrimp were fresh and juicy, and the vegetables were crisp and full of flavor. The spicy sauce paired perfectly with the rice and gave the dish a delicious kick. Anyone who likes spicy food will definitely enjoy this. A simple but very tasty meal that I would gladly order again🍤🤤❤️

Ordered via Uber Eats. Sadly, the rare beef pho was still barely edible but quite bland. The beef itself was poor quality and too chewy, even after soaking for a short time in hot broth (reheated upon receiving). Broth itself lacked flavor and essentially became a sprout and basil broth—no other flavors were present. The noodles had an almost plastic-like quality. I think that ingredient quality is the core of the issue, though seasoning and recipe also need some work.

I ate one bowl of Hue-style beef noodle soup and one bowl of roasted pork. The portions were large but the food wasn't tasty. The beef noodle soup didn't resemble any other bowl of beef noodle soup in Vietnam; promoting Vietnamese flavors like that isn't accurate. The roasted pork was slightly better but still salty. The ambiance was okay, but the food gets 1 star. Sorry for being blunt.

Friendly and quick service, not too expensive, easy to reach at Central Station. But this place obviously specializes in meat dishes. Not recommended for vegetarians. The fried tofu and the vegan springrolls hardly have any taste.

Incredibly delicious! For me, this was the best Pho of all the branches. Also, fast and very friendly service. I always have a very specific requirement for my pho; I customize it completely from scratch, and they did it perfectly! Highly recommended!

Busy busy place no games when deciding to order. They're very friendly busy. The food is really good and a good amount for a reasonable price. We will definitely return. I've never had such a tasteless vegan pho. No matter how much sriracha and hoisin sauce I kept adding, it simply had no taste. And the soy was so soggy and weird I couldn't finish it, which normally never happens to me.

I often give positive reviews to support restaurants that I tried, but it’s not for this case. The waitress hated her job, she was very unfriendly and rude. The restaurant should re-train their staff. For the food, they were not Vietnamese cuisine at all. Bad staff, bad food, overpriced. Never come back. I wish I can give 0 stars.

I am extremely disappointed. This is NOT Vietnamese food, not even close. I ordered lotus root salad, bún bò Huế, and braised duck rice. The “lotus root salad” had almost no lotus root just a pile of cucumber. The bún bò Huế was absolutely disgusting: the broth tasted wrong, and the noodles were thin, broken, and lifeless. As for the braised duck, it honestly felt like fried duck drowned in cheap sweet sauce. Completely unacceptable. This place is seriously damaging the reputation of Vietnamese cuisine, especially for tourists who don’t know any better. And the service? Even worse. Staff were rude, unfriendly, and clearly didn’t care. We cancelled dessert, they said “okay,” then still brought it out anyway 5 minutes later. Asked for tap water — suddenly “no water,” only bottled. Asked for two small bowls to share, they said they only had ONE. One bowl in an entire restaurant? That’s just ridiculous. Huge regret coming here. Save your money and your time. And please don’t judge Vietnamese food based on this place, because this is NOT Vietnamese food.

The pho is delicious and reasonable priced! I had the pho with all assortments of meat. They give you beansprouts, coriander, chili, and lime separately. The broth is very savory and hearty. Perfect for cold or spring seasons. I would recommend their banh mi, it is very delicious. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the central station area.

A super nice and cozy place to eat! The atmosphere is warm and the staff is always incredibly friendly. I often order the soup myself, and it is delicious every time, but there are plenty of other tasty dishes on the menu as well. The value for money is excellent. For me, it's definitely a 9/10! I come here at least twice a month and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing caramel duck and lemongrass tea. They also accept amex, which is always a plus, and something rare in NL.

I'm completely transported to a different restaurant every time I see that review. I've been coming here for years. I always order bon bo hue or the stewed beef. Super delicious. Always ready very quickly too.

We ate here with a group last Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions were very generous, and they were very quick to prepare. Definitely worth a visit.

The beef in the bahn mi was full of tendons and chunks of fat. When I commented on it, I was told that's how it should be. I think if you're paying more than 8 euros for a sandwich, it should have better meat. It's a shame, because I usually love Saigon Caphe.

I'm a regular customer and come here regularly, often during quieter hours, to eat and work. Today, I wanted to switch seats to charge my phone at a table with an outlet. Instead, I was suggested to sit somewhere else to charge, because I was supposedly occupying a table in a restaurant that was only a quarter full at the time—more empty than full. I don't find that particularly customer-friendly, especially not for someone who orders a main course and drinks and is a frequent visitor. I simply wanted to charge my phone. In the end, I barely managed to pay with 1% battery left.

I understand from another review that it has a new owner, and you can immediately tell it's overpriced and the portion is too small. This new owner is in it for the money. For 52 euros, it was a pitty. Not a second time, unfortunately.

The food is tasty. But sometimes they ask us to pay with cash which I find a bit suspicious. A few another customers can pay with pinpas but they asked me to pay contant. I guess the restaurant owner want to avoid taxes. If they allow me to pay with pin and service is nice, I would rate 5 stars.

I've been to the other locations (gelderlandplein, amstelveen stadshart) and normally I really love tbe food and the restaurants but the CS one wasn't giving the same vibe. The food wasn't as good (still within standards) and the vibe wasn't like a real restaurant (perhaps because it's at the station). I felt a bit claustrophobic as the inside of the restaurant is also very small and tables are near each other. Overall it's good for a quicker bite I'd say but not for a nice dinner with your partner.

Very nice spot right at Central Station. I would rate 90% authentic (10% fusion 😊) and one of the tastiest ones so far in Netherland. Caramel Duck with rice is a must try, and Pho is good too.

We had a delicious meal here. Unfortunately, it was just before closing time, and the staff seemed a bit off-duty. It's located right in Amsterdam Central, making it very easy to get to. I would come back here again.

Overall, a great restaurant to have a fulfilling meal. The pho was plentiful and delicious. The fried rice as well. The lemongrass tea was warming with a balanced level of sweetness. I have no complaints at all. The place was a bit cramped, so it was tight when you have luggage from your train trips.

The food was delicious and the portions were good for the price. However, the ingredients weren't listed correctly on the menu. My daughter had an allergic reaction to the peanuts in her dessert. Luckily, it was mild, but someone else with a severe allergy would have been in serious trouble! We even asked the staff to exchange the dessert after discovering the peanuts a little too late, but they told us we'd have to pay twice. There weren't any peanuts listed on the dessert menu.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this restaurant. I made an order, the delivery guy said he took the wrong delivery and would change it. After half an hour I called to check where my food was. The restaurant told me pretty much it was my problem and I have to complain with Thuisbezorgd. Very poor service and rude answering. I will never order here again.

The staff were very nice, but it doesn't do me any good when the food is prepared so poorly that you feel disgusted after just one bite.

Pretty good experience overall. Dishes were tasty and fulfilling. The only critique I would make is that cucumbers and tomatoes do not really belong to the Vietnamese kitchen. Other than that, recommended.

Soup of the pho tasted very diluted, but with added salt to 'compensate'. The vegetables were not very fresh and cling film was weirdly stuck to the plates (see photo). Not recommended to visit.

The food was nice, it is as good or even better than what restaurants in Asia offer. The staff was very nice, the price was typical of Amsterdam especially in a location next to Amsterdam central. The decoration was also detailed, but it was a bit too warm in there.

Sanifair voucher was rejected by a waiter. I was disappointed. On the photos above it is clear that Saigon Caphe is one of the partners that must accept it.

You could tell the food was old. The noodles were way too soggy as if it had been sitting in liquid for too long. The broth was not even heated up to the right temperature. Very questionable.

Lamentablemente, este "café" no tiene nada que ver con el significado real del café francés, que significa fácil de llevar, buena calidad y buen servicio! ¡He estado aquí antes y vuelto a regañadientes hoy y para mi consternación ninguna de las charecsterísticas anteriores se me presentó! Solo quería tener un almuerzo rápido por el que este lugar es famoso y una bebida, Apenas había puesto un pie en el interior o me llevaron a una mesa de esquina sin ningún lugar para moverse porque estaba lleno de gente cuando comenté que me negaron y otra mesa libre y a pesar de mis seguridades de que me quedaría, pero 15 minutos el así llamado gerente de piso rechazó sin rodeos mi solicitud y no movió un vinger para evitar que me fuera! Me fui por las siguientes razones: mesas sucias personal poco acogedor y al final la por la que he probado antes es media en el mejor de los casos por lo que mi recomendación evita este sucio inhóspito llamado café que destaca por una cosa y una sola cosa: TRAMPA TURÍSTICA

Ik kwam met mijn dochter kort een drankje drinken maar dat was toch echt niet de bedoeling werd mij 2x toe geirriteerd verteld door de manager en zijn vrouw en dat ze het voor deze keer maar toelieten. Redenen te kleine locatie er zou zgn een rij staan, maar die stond er niet. Alle mooie tafels waren vrij, we zaten al in een hoekje achteraf en we waren binnen 10 min weg (was nog te lang maar de Vietnamese koffie deed er wat langer over). Never again bij CS. Doe iets aan je communicatie want dit was echt zo onvriendelijk. Ik ga gewoon weer naar Gelderlandplein daar voelen we ons tenminste altijd welkom hetzij voor lunch diner of alleen een drankje!

Denk dat er iets four was gegaan in de keuken… Ik bestelde de pho, deze was echt zo zout dat ik de hele avond dorst heb gehad. Ben een liefhebber van eigenlijk wel alle Aziatische soepen, en er zitten grote verschillen in de balans tussen zouten, zuren en zoeten maar dit was echt bremzout. Zelfs na het toevoegen van water en wat limoen bleef het zo. Alsof de bouillon enkel bestond uit concentraat. Geen aanrader.

After we checked, there were still peanuts between the spring rolls!!!!!! Management of Saigon Caphe CS: Train your staff regarding food allergies among customers. Customers can die if they ingest what they are allergic to!

Rijstvel loempia besteld online, maar bij verkeerde locatie. Stom natuurlijk. Telefonisch contact gehad en eten was nog niet gemaakt. Vroeg of konden wisselen naar andere locatie van zelfde restaurant. Niet meewerkend en pech gehad. Geld weg en geen tegoed of iets dergelijks.

Luckily there was still room for two. It was busy, and that on a Tuesday. (Reservations are unfortunately not possible) Fresh spring rolls and fried ones in advance. Just right. Then my tablemate had the beef curry and I had the chicken Pho. Both delicious. Real Vietnamese flavors as I recognize them from the country itself. A bit noisy and close together. But you're lucky with the view of the A'DAM Tower

All in all, it's a good restaurant. It's not particularly special, but it's not bad either. It's not very authentic, but it's fine.

Had to wait more than 20 minutes for a normal Pho soup. When I indicated that it was taking a long time, the employee also indicated whether I wanted to take it with me differently... scandalous. Employee indicated that the drink was at their expense, but payment was simply added. What a service...

Sounds shady when they say then dont accept bank cards. The sign that says they dont accept bank cards is too small to notice at the entrance. Only when paying our bill we got to know about the situation. We ended up searching for an ATM which charged an additional 2.5 euros.
