Food 4/5, not much choice for beer but the napkins are a 10, a real towel 😅 still okay

After visiting so many places in Amsterdam I consider this one a MUST visit. Perfect vibe, the coffee was literally the best, food was incredible and the service is TOP level.

Loved to have breakfast for both of my mornings in Amsterdam. It’s at a perfect spot if you want to enjoy uour breakfast in the morning sun! Thanks to Omran for his service and friendly conversations♥️

Absolute fantastic bar. Location is spread well between the sun and the shade. Food is out of this world and the staff are wonderful, friendly and very down to earth.... One of my favorite spots in Amsterdam so far x

Cozy. Fantastic music. Excellent drinks. Fresh ingredients. The staff was kind, quick, and they seemed like a family of friends together. Idealic location to spend a meal on vacation.

Friendly service (I don't recognize the reviews that talk about rude waiters - everyone was super friendly). Ice cold beer served quickly on a sunny terrace. What more could you ask for? (we didn't eat anything so I cannot comment) We will be back!

Nice athmosphere and location and we often visit this place for some drinks if we had dinner somewhere nearby. However, yesterday we were charged for beers higher than what was written on the menu. Also some mix up on the orders. Not a nice feeling.

Saloon is a fantastic place to enjoy a great meal and a wonderful atmosphere in the heart of Amsterdam! The food was incredibly delicious and well-prepared, exceeding all my expectations. I was also very impressed by the service; the staff were professional, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The vibe of the place is unique and very welcoming, making it a perfect choice for a night out. A flawless 5-star rating for everything from the food to the environment. Definitely a place I’ll visit again!

The prices are incomprehensible and higher than what's shown on the menu or what was ordered. A 15% tip is automatically added unless you object.

What a great find! Just round the corner from there Rijksmuseum we found this little splendid bar. A little chilly outside (although there were heaters) so we sat inside. Really great atmosphere and absolutely wonderful food. How the chef cooked this up in such a small space is beyond me! Highly recommended

A place to grab a drink and a snack. It was very crowded and the staff were quite busy.

The prices listed on the menu are not accurate; then they charge you an extra 3 euros for beer without even warning you, they never tell you that there are supposedly two sizes, they overcharged us 15 euros.

Looks a bit down at heel but the food and service were great. Not crowded or busy.

A fantastic cafe/bar. It's relaxed. Great music and chilled vibe. We visited early afternoon for a beer and coffee and some small things to snack on. We had Olives, deep fried cheese sticks and flatbread and Hummus. Was all freshly made and very tasty. Will absolutely be back. Quiet side street and exactly what we like. Well worth the visit.

Great place, especially in terms of service and atmosphere. A relaxed atmosphere (which you could interpret negatively, but I don't mean it that way at all). This kind of service is quite rare in Amsterdam; usually, a waiter will come and take your order with a crestfallen expression after walking past you indifferently a few times. That's not the case at Bar Saloon, and they make you feel welcome. The food is excellent and solid. The outdoor outlets are also a plus, so you can charge your phone.

Really enjoyed our visit to The Saloon in Amsterdam! The finger food is very nice, nothing fancy, but tasty and well done. The place has a great vibe, with cosy seating both inside and outside, perfect for relaxing. The staff are young, trendy, and super friendly, which adds to the atmosphere. Excellent experience overall, I definitely recommend it, whether you’re just grabbing a drink or having a bite to eat!

This place is very charming, close to the canal and a great spot to rest. The only thing bringing this down is the service, which as others have mentioned was slow and disinterested (though there was one waiter who was more lively and friendly). The food was very good, and the beer selection is good too.

Disinterested and slow service. Sat for ages before being acknowledged. Got an unhappy response for wanting to change tables... The card machine had an undeserved tip pre selected (we could remove it), but also an unexpected card surcharge.

We enjoyed a cold glass of beer and an elderflower lemonade at the sidewalk café. We didn't eat there, so there's no need to add anything to the three stars. A cozy and atmospheric café where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere of the big city.

A lovely little restaurant with good food and very friendly service. Meals cost from €18 to €30.

Once you place your order, you can forget that it will be brought to you, even if there are almost no visitors in the bar.

Very slow and sluggish service (with the hall half empty, we received an omelette 20 minutes after being reminded about it, and not quite in the form we ordered). The omelette itself was delicious👍. Other visitors had to wait longer and reheat their order.

We had a delicious breakfast here outside close to a "Gracht". Very good Italien Cappuccino an fresh orange Juice. The Service was very kind. Very much recommend.

Great location, good service, but always uses the same catchphrase. A bit commercial. When paying, the 20% tip option was already indicated, which we found intrusive. A bit pricey even though it is Amsterdam. Other glasses were not clean. As well as fresh ginger tea, there may be more than 3 thin slices of ginger on a stick in warm water.

Good experience, the food is tasty, we drank some wine and everything was pleasant, quiet space and pleasant service.
