Salsa Shop in Zuidas

To be truthfull, my experience really sucked! Food was dissapointing. We got two burritos, both of which has such cold ingredients it even hurt the gums in my mouth. The rice had very hard dry pieces which were inedible. The beef was nice and soft, chicken average. The nachos were okay, but much too overprised for such a small portion. Atmosphere: most tables were dirty and salsa bottles greasy. At some point we were three tables and the place was empty when we got in, so there was plenty of time for employees to clean a bit. Service: not great. No smiles or friendliness, employee was moody.

Bowl is tasty and healthy. Would return for a lunch

We showed up about an hour before closing, a party of ten fresh from Delft. Staff probably thought, “Perfect, just what we needed before cleaning time.” But they didn’t flinch — rearranged, served, smiled. Heroes. The taco I had? So stuffed I couldn’t even hold it and ended up eating it with a fork. Still absolutely amazing. Portions generous, prices fair, service excellent. Conveniently close to my mom’s hotel, so she’s now officially a fan of “Mexican nights.” Would definitely come back. Maybe next time with fewer people

Centrally located. A bit pricy foe the type of food served. I like the taste of the pork but it's a bit chewy foe me, and the rice is a bit soggy. The tables were dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. Service staff was courteous enough.

I ate at this store for the first time a few minutes ago, and the lady working there gave me a quesadilla loaded with cheese and minimal meat. I understand that they give measured portions, but I've never seen so little meat on a product. I also just created an account on the salsa shop app because of the €1 quesadilla deal I was supposed to get. The woman working there then told me that the system unfortunately wouldn't accept the offer at this time, and instead of offering an alternative, she said, "You can use it another time," so I had to pay the full price of the quesadilla. I've never had such a bad experience at a salsa shop; I think this is one of the worse ones in Amsterdam. I should really get a refund for the €1 offer that wasn't used.

Walked here for half an hour and areived at 22:09, just to see that the place is closed. Even though the closing time is said to be 22:30. Fix your closing times!

The food was nice and tasty. Totally recommendation! The only thing was that we had to wait more than 5 minutes till someone from the crew showed up.

Poor service from both sides: I ordered a meal for my children and clearly stated in the comments that I didn't want spicy sauce. When I called the restaurant, they said they couldn't see the comments and that it was a Thuisbezorgd issue, and hung up without giving me a chance to respond. When I called again, the manager told me the same thing. I asked if they could send a new order without the sauce, but that wasn't possible because they couldn't see my information and couldn't place a new order. I then contacted Thuisbezorgd to request a refund. They then told me they couldn't refund my money because the restaurant disagreed. In the end, they blamed each other, and I ended up with no food, no apology, no refund, and an hour of my time wasted. An absolute waste of time and money – this is poor service from both sides.

I used to like the burritos here

Free meal after 10 purchases is a scam. You still have to pay for guac, the bowl, and cutlery which was 3€. When asked why the guac isn’t free, the cashier said she can remove it from my bowl if I want. Their food also contains loads of saturated and possibly trans fats as listed on their website so it’s definitely not healthy or fresh.

I’m based off of london which is believed to be one of the expensive cities for food, I found this one was more expensive than a very good quality burrito bowl in london. Quantity was decent but the quality was a bit iffy.

The food in not bad really.. i mean for a chain it's descent.. Is a quick dash in/out type of place, don't expect any vibes, that's not what the place is for..

It's okay. I had the rice and vegetable burrito. I found it a bit too watery. Probably because the baked beans weren't properly drained. The other sauces were also a bit too watery for my liking. Also, I would have preferred a different cheese instead of this one. Cheddar or something. Oh well, it must be expensive. It was okay.

They literally serve burnt chicken. And the guy serving it (not the manager) was even laughing evilly while serving.

Only really good for a quick bite and then go 🙂 nice flavors though. I accidentally made some mistakes in the previous text. I was definitely not sent away, I don't think it's very cozy there. The person who helped me was super helpful and nice. So there you go...

I’ve ordered/eaten here a couple of times. Today was a bit of letdown. I came in at 2pm and the Barbacoa beef was sold out, as well as my preferred salsa. So I had to order the chicken, and some other salsa food was still good, but I was really looking forward to the beef. Oh one more thing: eating out of a metal bowl ain’t it. I feel like a dog eating out of his bowl. Can this be fixed? Will come back tho, metal bowl or not.

They have halal certificate and the taste is very good.

Today I went to Salsashop for dinner with my sister, and it was a really great experience! My sister went for a burrito bowl and I had the tacos – both super fresh and tasty. We also ordered nachos with guacamole, and they were deliciously crispy with perfect, creamy guacamole. For a drink, my sister had a fresh lemonade, which was wonderfully refreshing. The quality of the food, the atmosphere and the friendly service make Salsashop highly recommended. We will definitely come back!

I was having a hard time finding a place to have dinner around Utrecht that’s affordable and full of quality, I must say I’m glad I walked into this place the food was amazing!!! It was enough to feel full even when I shared the meal. Service was good kind workers and I love the vibe in general.

After eating it, I felt not greasy, the taste was sour, the chicken meat was not too hard. In short, it was very good, the cookies were delicious, you must try them.,

I regularly go here for a Burrito after work. Healthy quick tasty food! Downside, Prices are a bit steep. Personel is friendly but need to learn to roll a burrito in a manner that it can be eaten without cutlery (as I was used in California, where it’s down by Mexicans)

Ordered 2 burritos from Uber Eats, clearly mentioning No Cheese, No sour cream. Low and behold, 1 burrito arrives with both, and another with cheese. I am lactose intolerant. Dairy was easily visible in the first burrito so I didn’t consume it. The second one “appeared to be dairy free”. After a few bites I realized that I was wrong. It too had cheese. Now I am dealing with an upset stomach because you guys don’t care about reading instructions before delivering. Have complained about you to uber eats too. You guys showed be sued.

I come here quite often and order a chicken burrito bowl, their menu is quite well with multiple choices but I like sticking with my classics. Place is very clean with a water fountain to fill up bottles. Bathroom clean nice as well.

Yes, I was very hungry and yes, everything tastes good. But it is not top quality food. Just say canned food. It's not a big deal, but a piece of black bean got stuck in my tooth and it festered for a while. But luckily I have a tartar remover myself and managed to pluck it out. But it was great fun while eating. I think I can eat it with my friends when we come out of the shop with the eating frog!

I was allowed to pay 14 euros for a very small, meager bowl. It's fine that you ask top price, but at least provide a larger portion of better quality.

As an American that grew up with both Chipotle and authentic Mexican food, this is about the same as Chipotle was when it was at it's peak. No carne asada/steak though. It's fine and works to fill in that gap while Chipotle slowly starts expanding internationally, but there are more authentic Mexican places here already. Works well for a quick bite.

I got a basic chicken burrito and it was delicious. I just feel that the price is too high for one burrito that’s not even filled to the brim and you only have three or more toppings…

It’s very mid. Not bad but not good either (both for customer service & food). I got a chicken burrito, and while it was an okay portion, I don’t like the way they roll it because the toppings are not evened out. What I mean is, one side of the burrito was beans and other stuff and the right side was chicken. Would be much better if it was evened out so one bite is most of the toppings. I will probably try the quesadilla and update this review.

We ordered food from Uber and most of people vomited at night. We didn’t eat anything else. Now I have a fewer 38 the whole day. Obviously, this is bacteria or infection. This place does not have any safety and food is poisoned.

Other that the fact is SO rude especially that woman in the ponytail the food is mid. The burritos are overpriced and they won’t by any chance be enough portion for any kind of person. Better food at the donner shop next corner with kind stuff and prices that actually reflect the proportion.

It's fine if you're there to watch them put it together, but they always get delivery orders wrong. And it's only this branch for some reason. I have ordered a few times via UberEats and it feels like the orders are straight up ignored when you ask to leave stuff out or add extra things. Last time my lactose intolerant colleague requested no cheese or sour cream and took a bite of her burrito to find it full of it. Also they never give extra salsa even though you pay a euro for it!
