I have been a regular to this shop and have just last month spent close to 200 Euros. I was extensively using their loyalty aystem as it rewards spending... and now they have updated their loyalty system and all my loyalty points are gone. I ask the lady at reception and she tells me she cannot do anything but send email to someone. Looks like all their loyal customers who used loyalty have lost their points.

I came 10 minutes after planned pickup time, but staff didn't even started preparing my order. And they were not busy - the place was almost empty. The food itself is very great though, so it worth the wait. Tried second time - again on the pick up time preparation not even started

Worthless compared to the Zuidas branch. They are very stingy with the ingredients. I won't be coming here again.

It depends on when you are there; during events like Ajax or Ziggo/Afas, it gets very busy. But I think the food is fantastic—prepared quickly and tasty. In short, a great place for a quick bite.

We came here on Saturday, August 23rd, at around 8:50 PM. The place was understandably very busy, with lots of people in the area for Formula 1 and a festival in Bijlmer. We ordered three burritos and, unfortunately, the lack of organisation was very noticeable. One person would start making a burrito, walk back and forth along the whole line to complete it, then come back and start the next one. With that many customers waiting, you would expect some kind of system where each person is responsible for a different part of the process, with someone else handling the till. Instead, everything felt unnecessarily chaotic and slow. I can understand that service can suffer when a place is busy. What was much harder to understand was seeing three members of staff standing in the kitchen watching the others work while drinking Desperados, when their colleagues were clearly struggling with a full restaurant. There seemed to be very little teamwork or organisation, and as customers we didn't feel particularly welcome. The frustrating part is that the food is actually delicious. We really enjoy it, but an experience like this definitely makes you think twice about coming back. Hopefully the management can improve the organisation during busy periods, because the food deserves much better service.

Unfortunately, the customer service here was very disappointing. Almost every time we asked a simple question, we were answered with an unfriendly attitude, as if asking for help was an inconvenience. This was especially noticeable with one of the female staff members who doesn't speak Spanish, and with one of the male staff members. Both were particularly unfriendly and made us feel uncomfortable just for asking normal questions. Another thing that caught my attention was that one of the employees working with food had his hair constantly falling over his face. I don't have any issue at all with his hairstyle, but when working around food, I do think it would be more hygienic to keep the hair properly covered or secured, for example with a cap. It's a shame because good customer service doesn't require much, just being polite, approachable, and willing to help. Unfortunately, that hasn't be our experience here.

Everything is extra; you even have to pay for a small amount of vegetables instead of rice. It was tasty, but not worth 15 euros.

Delicious food, friendly service. Of the salsas available, I chose the second hottest one, which seemed rather mild.

Real fresh and authentic Mexican food. Fair prices, quick preparation and the taste of Mexico. Loved it.

I have come here regularly with friends, mostly because it sits right by Bijlmer station, so it is easy to grab a burrito before or after something at the Arena, and the burritos are genuinely tasty and the vibe is relaxed, which is why I kept coming back. The real issue is the service, and last time the staff seemed completely checked out, no eye contact, no smile, just going through the motions, and I almost felt bad for them. I have also walked out a few times in the past because the wait was just too long. The food is still good, but I did not leave feeling all that welcome. 09.08.2026: I gave this place another chance. Sunday evening the place was a mess, dirty tables and bathrooms. tired, grumpy and very unhappy staff that waited for me to get out. Also first time I did not like the burrito, it was made in a hurry and not mixed properly. Such a pity because I was a regular here and used to love this place.

Sahada was great help and got us to exactly what we liked.

Food is good and service is friendly! However, you can clearly see that the place is understaffed.

One thing: if you can order extra caucamole it should be on it on the first place.

Lovely environment and kind staff

Always a fan of Salsa Shop, but here I was specifically required to show my student ID, even though I haven't received it yet. Proof of enrollment or similar documents aren't allowed, which is very strange.

When are you opening a branch in Enschede?

The price/quality/quantity ratio is very good. The Latin American atmosphere comes from the music. The food is Salsa with a Dutch twist. The service is perfect.

Good food but even when I order 2+ hours ahead my food is not ready by pick up time. I order ahead so I can quickly pickup and head to the train, but somehow the people ordering there get served faster. I’m confused how despite two hours notice my small order is still not ready…

The best burritos, often 1+1 deals on UberEats. Nice cookie.

Not efficient on serving. They don’t ask for side. We were only able to ask for nachos at the end and we were informed it would take around 10 min…not organised and super slow…

Worst restaurant for ordering food from.They are incompetent and lazy.Delivery drivers are waiting 30minute in front of the store and they only start making the food after delivery driver tells them to...I just ordered food at 19:15 and its 21:09,delivery driver still didnt picked the food up even tho they work untik 21:00...Do not ever order from them...It is eazier to walk over there than to order

I really don't get the high ratings. It took a really long time before someone would take my order, the only utensils they had for me were two forks even though there were only two other people eating here and some of the rice was old and super hard so I had to eat carefully. Taste was good but that's about it.

I went to the restaurant because of the positive reviews… a mistake. The waitress wasn't very friendly, the food, although acceptable, was served in miserable portions – 3 tacos. Very expensive for what it offers. What really surprised me was the stinginess with the toppings inside the taco. I will NOT repeat the experience.

We are always served quickly and the food tastes good. The fresh lemonade is also very tasty.

Delicious Mexican comfort food!

Salsa Shop — Bijlmer edition. Pre-game ritual at this point. Football not started, but performance already underway. Fast service, like they know you have somewhere louder to be. Prices are reasonable, which feels generous considering the timing pressure. Food is consistently tasty. Not experimental. Not confusing. Just reliable fuel before questionable shouting decisions at the stadium. In, out, ready for kickoff. Will return every time football is involved. Which is often.

My experience at this restaurant was far from pleasant.
