Salsa Shop in Bijlmer Centrum (D,F,H)

Unfortunately, we ordered here. We ordered in the afternoon for delivery at 5:20 PM. Plenty of time. The receipt said the food would be ready at 4:56 PM, but it was actually delivered at 6:00 PM. The food was ice cold and missing items. We called, and they wouldn't do anything about it. No follow-up delivery arrived, and the cold food was just our unlucky side. The food itself was a cold, ready-made meal. A lot of money for ready-made, cold food with no service.

I asked the friendly staff for advice on what was tasty, while avoiding the carbs a bit outside of the wrap, because I absolutely had to have a burrito 😜 The man who helped me understood. I had a delicious baby burrito and avoided some of the carbs 😁. Fantastic!

Excellent food and atmosphere, very friendly staff

Good burrito, but they added guacamole without telling me that it costs 2.50 Euros extra. It is true that when they ask “with everything?” I said “yes”, but they should have informed me that guacamole is not included.

This burrito was huge—about 600 grams and packed with incredibly fresh ingredients. ​I loved the transparent, customizable process. They build everything right in front of you. Tasty and healthy food for a decent price. Service was excellent and very attentive; they gave me a plate without me even asking! The dining area was clearly well-maintained, with tables being cleaned constantly. Highly recommend!

The burrito wasn't tasty, and neither were the tacos. The quesadillas, however, were quite good! The server forgot our drinks and wasn't friendly; instead, he chatted with his friends. We won't be coming back, especially considering the price.

Delicious healthy fast food meal for a reasonable price

I've been coming here once a week for lunch for years. The burritos are really good and filling, but they seem to be slowly getting a few cents more expensive lately. €12.60 at the time of writing. Now not once a week, but once a month because of the ever-increasing price.

They skimp on the portions like crazy. 13+€ for anything and you’d think they’re rationing for a famine.

I don't hate easily, unless you can't roll my burrito, how do you give this to me knowing you've messed it up? No problem, I asked if they could re-roll it. She looked at me as if I had done that and put another tortilla on top. Hey, I'm not Karen, but be real 🙏🏽

We arrived 4 minutes before 8 on a Friday and got told they only have take away as they need to clean. Their closing time is 9 so they only do take away in the last hour. Very disappointed as we plan to meet the four of us and have dinner before our movie started at 9 next door. We had to go somewhere else.

Very expensive was surprised and was not aware of final price , soles mistakes have been done on the ticket and updated following to my remarks.

Hard to tell whether it's genuine Mexican food or just a fast food place. But it's quite tasty

Unfortunately, I had to wait a very long time, 50 minutes, for a concert in the arena. So understandable. And they can't really go much faster than that; there's no room for that at the buffet, and you can't expect the staff to work at full speed for hours at this speed. I had a delicious meal there, and despite the crowd, the staff was very friendly.

Long wait for delivery at salsa shop bijlmer. 1.5 hours. Then cold, plus one meal too few delivered, paid for. Then you have a problem... Because you have to order something again, otherwise they can't process it. Once but never again.

Silence. Deathly silence. As if I entered a nacho temple where everyone was in retreat. A bit uncomfortable, because I am not such a quiet eater… especially not when the food is as good as here. Because oh, those nachos. Full of toppings, crispy, warm, and you could go wild with all kinds of extras. Spicy sauces? Yes, a whole collection. And you know: when there are spicy sauces, I can no longer be stopped. My mouth was literally on fire and I loved it. And then 🥁drumroll🥁 Jarritos! Yes, that legendary Mexican soda with colors that look like they escaped from a candy store. As soon as I saw it, I knew: this is going to be an experience. And I was right. The combo of hot nachos and ice-cold Jarritos? That's what they call culinary bliss on a plastic tray. The employee who was there was super helpful and nice. Almost as if he sensed that I was feeling a bit awkward in that silence. He made the moment just a little bit better. Only a little atmosphere or music would have really completed the whole picture. A little reggaeton would have brought out my inner taco tiger. 📍 Conclusion: Salsa Shop serves nachos that make your heart beat faster and sauces that make your lips burn (in a good way). Beware of this place. They display 12 euro for a burrito bowl on board. But while paying they charged 16 euro. On questioning, they said it’s for some extras added which I never asked for and remaining for packaging cost.

Delicious burrito, perfectly rolled, and very fast service

I was helped by Genesis and she was very nice. The food was very fresh that's what my plate looked like after eating. I will definitely come back! I recommend the hibiscus and my personal preference is carnitas with salsa verde.

The food was good, but unfortunately I had a less pleasant experience with the service. I ordered a quesadilla, but then had to wait 20 minutes because my order was not prepared and I had to go after it myself. The restaurant was almost empty so that shouldn't have happened. It was probably because the woman behind the counter was busy talking to a boy who came in at that moment while I was ordering and therefore forgot to place/make my order.

We orderrd a burrito bowl and a quesadilla. Both were great especially the burrito bowl. The beef fillings were warm and the sides were all fresh.
