What a fantastic experience at Secret Garden. The ambiance and atmosphere are absolutely beautiful and immediately make you feel relaxed. The food was delicious and perfectly presented. The service was outstanding. Lola, our waiter from France, took such great care of us and made the evening extra special. Her colleagues were equally attentive, friendly, and professional. You can really tell that the entire team understands what true hospitality is all about. Keep up the amazing work. This is service at its best.

Rafael was an amazing host, very friendly and welcoming, the kitchen staff knocked it out of the park with their amazing food, we ate the edamame, king crab and prawn cakes, beef tenderloin in teriyaki sauce, and Lobster tail, for dessert we had the coffee namelaka which is the only dish I found slightly overpowering when combined with the banana ice cream it slightly takes over the coffee which id have preferred toned down but other than it was fanatastic and the matcha tiramisu was to die for, thank you for the experience guys and happy holidays (please note this restaurant is quite pricey so be prepared when attending)

Absolutely gorgeous spot. Fancy smaller portions and great for sharing. The service was excellent as well. Make sure to wear your nice attire and take off your hat haha.

The attention the staff gave us as tourists was greatly appreciated, especially from our waitress Lola. The atmosphere was very pleasant, but it's a shame the music was so loud. The food was truly extraordinary; the Franco-Japanese concept is an excellent idea. Good quality, extremely well prepared. I highly recommend it!

This place was truly a wonderful surprise. The atmosphere, interior design, service and staff were all top-notch. Friendly, warm and welcoming in every way. We visited as a couple to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. I had mentioned this in advance and to our delight there was a small, thoughtful birthday note waiting for him on our table. Such a lovely personal touch! The food was absolutely outstanding. The portions were generous and the flavors were simply unforgettable. The beef with teriyaki sauce and the wagyu fried rice are still lingering on our taste buds. The wine was delicious and the service throughout the evening was relaxed, attentive and genuinely kind. To end the night, my boyfriend was surprised with a small dessert and a sparkling candle, which made the celebration feel extra special. We had a truly cozy and memorable evening and will definitely be coming back.

It has this calm, cool and welcoming atmosphere that makes you forget you’re just out for a midday meal. My family felt the same way. Everyone kept mentioning how friendly and attentive the staff were and how smoothly everything flowed. The food was a real highlight 😮‍💨 Every dish looked stunning and tasted even better. It felt like true high-class cuisine 💕 It was clear that a lot of thought and skill went into every detail. We left knowing we’d found something special. Ambience was fantastic, with music at perfect volume, fully aligned with overall theme. The cuisine a Peruvian-Japanese fusion was ideal and every dish was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and positive; our waiter Max in particular was outstanding and made our experience genuinely enjoyable. He really rounded off a perfect evening!

Besides the fact that this restaurant is timeless, the setting is simply magical, the food was excellent, and the staff very pleasant! Go there if you're on vacation! Plus, the neighborhood is just fantastic and beautiful!

I was at this restaurant yesterday with a friend. We had a reservation and opted for the set menu. The first course included oysters (I'm sure it was this dish). After finishing our meal and leaving the restaurant, I started feeling unwell, something like food poisoning, as I was vomiting all day and night. The experience completely ruined the rest of my day and made for a very unpleasant evening. I understand that unforeseen events can happen, but when it comes to seafood, I expected much stricter controls and quality. I hope the restaurant investigates this incident to prevent it from happening to other customers. Personally, I was very disappointed and cannot recommend the place based on this experience.

Had a fantastic evening! It's on the pricier side, but you can taste that in the quality of the food. The service was also top-notch. We had a birthday boy and he felt completely pampered. (Partly thanks to Ralf) The DJ was playing in the background, and what a beautifully decorated place. Everything was great, so I'll definitely be back. If there was one thing that could be improved, it would be a parasol or shelter for smokers. Smoking is taboo these days, but when it rains, it's torture. With a little tweak, this should be easily solved.

We arrived Saturday evening and were thrilled to still be able to eat and enjoy a full dinner. We were seated at a beautiful table and received excellent recommendations from our waiter, Ralph, including the halal rib-eye. Highly recommended!

The location is beautiful and the food is good, but in my opinion, the price is disproportionate to what you get. The service was very chaotic. For example, a set menu had already been ordered for us without us having seen it. Furthermore, glasses and plates that were still only a quarter full were taken away; I had to remind them four times that we were still eating and drinking. The wrong wine was also served three times. For a price of over €120 per person, I think these kinds of mistakes shouldn't happen.

The world that opens up to you behind the mysterious green door of The Secret Garden is just incredible. Our barman was super friendly and knowledgeable. The cocktails were superb. Our meal - a selection of things from the menu - was so tasty and beautifully presented. We loved it for our final night in Amsterdam. It was a real treat. We'll be back.
